Sehr gutes Essen und ein schönes Ambiente. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und die Toilette war für ein so kleines Restaurant überraschend sauber und ordentlich.

Sehr gutes Restaurant , hebt sich mit seinen angebotenen Gerichten deutlich vom Rest ab , Speisekarte ist übersichtlich ( von der Haupgerichtsauswahl her ) , nette Bedienung Service top ..Sehr empfehlenswert

Ich war in den letzten Monaten dreimal im Salamat und habe jedes Mal das Essen, den netten Service und die Atmosphäre genossen.

Wir wollten einen Querschnitt der irakischen Küche probieren und haben deshalb das Menü für zwei Personen gewählt. Geschmack war gut, allerdings mit 79 € zu teuer und kein gutes Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Dem Hauptgang hätte etwas Reis Fladenbrot oder mehr Kartoffeln gut getan.

Nach meinem letzten Besuch, der mir so gut gefallen hatte, bin ich wiedergekommen und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Diesmal teilten wir uns den Bagdad-Teller, und er war hervorragend. Das Gericht bietet eine große Vielfalt und ist somit die perfekte Wahl für alle, die von allem etwas probieren möchten. Alles war frisch, gut gewürzt und harmonierte wunderbar miteinander. Wenn Sie einen Tisch draußen ergattern können, ist das der perfekte Ort, um das Essen zu genießen und die Atmosphäre aufzusaugen. Aber auch die Sitzplätze drinnen sind gemütlich und bieten ein tolles Esserlebnis. Wieder einmal ein wunderbares Essen – ein Restaurant, das ich definitiv immer wieder besuchen werde. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Schönes Lokal, gutes Essen, auch wenn Fleisch nicht zu ihren Spezialitäten zählt. Die angebotene Auswahl hat uns gefallen, empfehlenswert.

Ich habe dieses Restaurant vor Kurzem besucht und Darband sowie Haluzha mit Lamm bestellt, die beide sehr gut waren. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet und sind geschmacklich wirklich beeindruckend. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Der Service war wirklich nett, alle waren freundlich und sympathisch – aber das Essen ließ leider sehr zu wünschen übrig. Zumindest die Hammurabi-Platte, die wir bestellt hatten, war stellenweise sehr trocken und versalzen. Ingwertee und Mokka waren besser. Hoffentlich bessern sie sich.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, hervorragend gewürzt und die Portionen ausreichend. Der Service war freundlich und die Atmosphäre angenehm, mit Tischen sowohl drinnen als auch draußen.

Ich habe schon Hunderte arabische Restaurants besucht und genieße diese Küche sehr. Dieses Restaurant ist einfach perfekt. Die Köche verstehen ihr Handwerk, die Atmosphäre ist großartig, und ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Berlin bin.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis der Babylon-Platte ist absurd. Ich kenne wenige Orte, wo man für diesen Preis so gut gegartes Gemüse, so gute selbstgemachte Saucen, Falafel, Baba Ghanoush und Salat mit feinem Dressing kriegt.

Das war mit Abstand das beste arabische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe – und ich kenne mich in dieser Küche sehr gut aus.

Die gemischten Platten sind absolut empfehlenswert!

Aubergine mit Lamm war hervorragend.

Unvorbereitet und damit unbelastet mal einfach bestellen und genießen - das war genau das richtige vorgehen. Sehr leckeres Lamm mit Bohnen und Reis - ich habe mich sogar an einen Nachtisch gewagt. Empfehlenswert und ebenso der Hinweis rechtzeitig zu reservieren.

Dieses Restaurant ist in jeder Hinsicht erstklassig und verdient ein Bib Gourmand. Wenn Sie ein gemütliches, preiswertes und romantisches Restaurant (ideal für ein Date) mit fantastischer arabischer Küche suchen, sind Sie hier genau richtig. Das Essen gehört zum Besten, was Berlin zu bieten hat. Wahrlich erschwingliche Gourmetküche!

Tasty sharing plates with great hummus, tabouleh, different salads and especially nicely seasoned meat over rice. Cozy atmosphere and good service.

Super cute, quiet, and intimate atmosphere. Dishes with a distinct flavor, varied, and even unique. I recommend the all-you-can-eat platter. I'm celiac, and I managed to eat an excellent chicken dish with a distinctive flavor and rice. Many vegetarian and vegan options. Very sweet and helpful staff. I recommend booking in advance.

Very nice restaurant. The service was very attentive and polite, and the food was excellent! We had two dishes and one dessert mix and were completely satisfied. A special highlight were the homemade smoothies, which were very fresh and not too sweet. Highly recommended!

Nice lil spot, I noticed the food of some peoples plate and realized a craving I didn’t know of. Unfortunately I only got the Pascha Plate which is just a beef shawarma platter but w a couple of sides and more expensive. I would like to try the Haluzha or the Baumya as well.

A beautiful blend of spices, balanced yet outspoken. and you can really tell the quality of a restaurant by how they do their falafel ;) Will def visit again when I get the chance

A nice little restaurant serving authentic Iraqi cuisine. It's served with a high level of authenticity and without compromise. The mixed platters are highly recommended as a main course or starter. The atmosphere at the main intersection can sometimes be noisy, typical of the city. A wide selection for vegetarians, and vegan dishes are available upon request.

Honestly the food here was genuinely some of the best food I've had in Berlin! We had the sharing for 2 plate (meat option) and the variety and flavours and amount were all incredible and perfect! I will for sure be going back here again! Please Salamat don't change a thing you have hit gold already! Can highly recommend! And one more thing the sharing for 2 plate easily fed 3 of us as well

I can't understand the excellent reviews. The food is okay, but nothing special if you know oriental food. I found the appetizer plate to be a bit carelessly prepared. What's particularly unfortunate is that the bread wasn't fresh but rather dry. Plus the bread wasn't even warmed up. The restaurant was hardly busy on a Saturday evening. The service is OK, but nothing more. It's a shame actually, because the atmosphere is quite nice.

Super nice restaurant in Berlin with middle east food. We ordered the Darband Plate (chicken) & the Rinderschawarma (meat) for share. Incredibly flavorful, spiced and balanced meal. The mutabel in the chicken plate was amazing. Would definitely come back.

Even the very friendly service and the appealing ambience couldn't save us the evening. The four of us ordered the recommended house platters both as a starter and as a main course, each for two people. The appetizer platters gave us a tasty start, combined with a well-chilled bottle of Merwah white wine. The advertised Hammurabi main course platter, with the side dishes arranged in a circle, was 1:1 similar to the starter platter, mind you, with a unit price of 54 euros. The described beef fillet strips shawarma and shredded chicken shawarma were intended for a maximum of 1 person and had to be searched for in the dominant red sauce. In addition, the beef was incorrectly cut and very dry. The chicken pieces were good but rare. Overall, the food was more of a snack quality, with a price of around 50 euros per person.

We had olives as a small starter and the Darban plate, with laban. Every single dish from the platter was incredibly delicious, as was the appetizer and drink. I'm looking forward to trying the other dishes on my next visit. The service was also super courteous and attentive.

We went to this place on Saturday evening, the waiters were kind, the environment was very small, there was little light, the menu was small, we had to use the light on the phone to eat and understand the dish. The price was very high, a dish for two with a few sauces, falafel, tabule, carrots, potatoes, chicken kebab and meat. 50 euros than other places no more than 20/25 and very well done. We would never go back. A place for Germans and foreigners. A scam a glass of water 3 euros

Honestly, I don't quite get the high rating. The food was average. I get a tastier shawarma, for half the price (and a bigger portion) at my local shawarma shop in Friedrichshain.

Awesome food we got with almost no waiting time. Maybe pita breads could be a bit softer, but leaving this aspect aside, we were super satisfied with a plate for two + chai and malven teas
