Da ich in Malmö, Schweden, lebe, bin ich stolz auf unsere Falafel. Aber ich muss sagen, diese hier waren sogar noch besser, die Soßen waren fantastisch! 😋

Die nettesten Leute überhaupt. Riesige Portionen und sehr faire Preise. Ich war begeistert und kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen (10/10).

Der Mitarbeiter mit der Brille ist einfach unglaublich nett, trotz so vieler Kundinnen. Er und das gesamte Team arbeiten mit viel Engagement und Herzblut. Ein so herzlicher und aufmerksamer Service ist keineswegs selbstverständlich. Vielen Dank – genau deshalb kommt man immer wieder gerne zurück!

Die Gerichte sind alle zu empfehlen und werden immer frisch zubereitet. Exzellenter Service, mit sehr lokalem Touch. Vor allem die Dachterrasse. Spät abends ist die aber nicht mehr geöffnet. Kartenzahlung wäre noch schön.

Ich habe hier gerade den unglaublichsten Falafel gegessen!! Normalerweise esse ich den zu Hause nicht, aber dieser war einfach köstlich – ich habe meinen Teller leer gegessen :)))

Dieses Geschäft akzeptiert keine Karten, was meiner Meinung nach ein schwerwiegender Fehler und ein Bärendienst an den Kunden ist.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit unschlagbaren Preisen. Egal ob zum Mitnehmen oder vor Ort essen kann man nichts falsch bestellen. Die großen Teller sind ideal zum Teilen und im Sommer ist die Terrasse im Dachgeschoss ein Highlight.

Sehr übersichtliche Portionen zu hohen Preisen. Es fehlte mir persönlich an sauer eingelegten Zutaten - Salat beim Falafel sehr basic/ fade. Soßen auch schwach. Weder Kartenzahlung noch Erhalt einer Quittung möglich. Ein Fall für die Steuetfahndung.

Dieser Ort ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp! Ich habe schon oft orientalisch gegessen, und das war mit Abstand das beste! Es war außerdem sehr preiswert, die Bedienung war super freundlich und die Atmosphäre einfach toll.

Vorsicht, habe gerade für ein Zatar, statt 14,50, 64,50 bezahlt. Der Mitarbeiter behauptete, dass er 10 Euro statt 50 Euro erhalten hat. Das kann aber nicht sein, ich hatte das Geld gerade aus dem Geldautomat gezogen.

Mittelmäßiges, überteuertes Shawarma. Es hatte keinen Geschmack und fühlte sich an wie ein Stück essbares organisches Material.

Vegetarischer gemischter Teller für 11 € (Februar 2026) – sehr lecker, die Saucen waren gut, nicht zu viel, aber genau richtig. Ein weiterer Falafel wäre schön gewesen. Der angebratene Blumenkohl (oder was auch immer es war) war köstlich. Gemütliche Atmosphäre.

Wir haben einen veganen Teller für zwei Personen gegessen. Alles war sehr lecker…absolute Empfehlung!

Immer gut besucht und dafür noch bezahlbar. Meist zur Mittagspause etwas voll.

Sehr gutes Essen und große Auswahl an Getränken. Vegetarisch und mit Fleisch. Leckere Dips. Ölfaktorisch haftet nach dem Besuch die Note "Frittenbubde* hartnäckig am Gast.

The only restaurant in the area that was still open late at night. I had a vegetarian plate. The food, including the pre-made sauces, was tasty in itself, but there was too much fried food for my liking. The white wine was good.

The decor is rather simple in a relatively small room. You sit at long tables. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I had a shawarma plate.

Beautiful and delicious plates of fresh food! I enjoyed the mixed vegetarian plate which was full of tasty, colorful, and fresh options including a beautifully cooked falafel, hallumi, tabbouleh, hummus, babaganoush, and more. The flavors were vibrant and the plate was overall really good value for the money. Will definitely come back!

Food was ok, a bit cold for my taste. Bathroom was super dirty, as were the tables. A lot of people seem to like it though, as it was fully occupied

I recommend the vegan mixed platter, which I really enjoyed and is very reasonably priced! The very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere round off my visit to Za'atar for me! The background music goes straight to my heart! I'd love to come back here for some exceptionally good food!

We sat under the large rooftop umbrella yesterday. A generous and delicious shawarma platter, good wine, and fast and friendly service. Nothing to complain about. Highly recommend.

We particularly enjoyed dining at @Za'atar Falafel! The vegetarian platter for two was truly delicious with a selection of fresh cold and warm mezze. The halloumi and falafel were our favorites. The service was prompt and most importantly, very friendly and welcoming.

I can't remember having such delicious food in Berlin recently as I did at Zaatar. Sabich's dishes are exquisitely textured; everything is perfectly balanced. The ingredients look fresh and of high quality. The restaurant itself is visually appealing; note the gorgeous homemade lamp design. The menu should have something for everyone, including burgers. The staff are prompt and meticulous. Friendliness is a hallmark of fast food restaurants. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

One of the best falafel sandwiches I've ever had. I didn't have any cash (or an ATM), so the guy graciously gave me my sandwich. Such generosity.

We visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening and were very pleased. We had a falafel plate and a shawarma plate. But the sandwiches were the best we've had in Berlin so far. The location is great too! Definitely worth 5/5 stars!

For me, it's the best oriental food in town. My favorite is also the za'atar plate, the best of everything. The mint yogurt tastes of mint, and the pomegranate seeds add a wonderful freshness and acidity to the salad. Every paste tastes authentic and just what it's supposed to. The motto "everything fresh" is evident in every ingredient. As already mentioned, the fresh, fluffy, crispy falafel are also a highlight. The atmosphere and friendly service do the rest. I always eat here when I'm nearby and hungry. I would definitely recommend it and give it 10 stars.

All they serve are Turkish food and they are really bad prepared. Go to Turkey and learn how to cook properly ;)

The falafel here is excellent, freshly prepared (not microwaved, fried on the spot). The ingredients are high quality, and the salad mix includes fresh herbs like mint that add a refreshing taste. Definitely recommend trying this place! ;)

A small restaurant on a side street right next to the S1 Julius-Leberbrücke. Cozy atmosphere and delicious food.

For someone who is used to good lebanese food, this restaurant IS NOT Middle Eastern as it claims and some of the plates are actually disgusting (even if I don’t like to use this word to describe food). It tastes more like culture appropriation to me (if you know what I mean)

The mix bowl can be enough for 2 people and shawarma in it was really tasty. The meat loaf was a bit dry, but I would still go back to this restaurant Edit after 1 year: I came back, it's still great!

I had an amazing experience at this Arabic restaurant. I ordered the kafta, and it was absolutely delicious perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of authentic flavor. You can tell the ingredients were fresh and prepared with care. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. Everything from the food to the ambiance felt genuinely thoughtful and well done. It's not easy to find places that get everything right, but this one really delivered. Highly recommended - I'll definitely be coming back!

Update Removing two stars, because after eating zataar teller , I and my gf both had stomachache. Previous review: I could give more than 5 stars to this place. If you know how to make top sandwiches, then you have to try this place. Everything is made of high quality products and perfect cooking. The customer service is at its top :)

For me it was the tastiest Arabic food I have ever eaten in Berlin. The Za'atar plate has a little bit of everything, all very tasty. The shop is small but cozy. It is a snack restaurant decorated with taste. Every time I leave the store very satisfied 😊

Food is really good. Unfortunately my dish "Israeli Sabich Teller" was renamed "Sabich Teller". When even the shawarma shop becomes political, you lose the desire to go. Too bad.
