As is well known, where there is a lot of light, there is a lot of shadow. Broth, skin and pizza were very good, the fried rice as the last dish was unfortunately completely disappointing. The ambience, the very attentive service and the selection of Spiritus Rex brandies (warning, EXPENSIVE!) should be highlighted.

I was finally in Berlin with another person and we were able to order the duck. I'll keep it short and sweet: it was crazy. Every course was so hearty, one better than the other, you didn't want to miss any of them and it was really exciting how different a duck can be prepared. It's not classic fine dining, which of course you already know. Each dish hit you right in the heart and soul, which is why you would probably have eaten 20 of these plates at home. But I think it would be unfair to say that the portions were too small. I probably just eat too much. The dessert that was offered there is actually very worth mentioning. It completely amazed me. I've eaten a lot, often in restaurants where desserts play a big role, but the dessert there is on another level. This meant we could also take advantage (at least for us as guests) of sitting directly at the kitchen counter. We had to tell the patissière straight away our complete enthusiasm. We'll definitely be back!

We treated ourselves to the Peking duck here. The food was outstanding! The service too, with a note: We had the menu, which included a sorbet, which we were offered to spice up with vodka or champagne. We only found out on the RG that alcohol wasn't included. A note on the menu or from the service staff would have been nice, for a shot glass of alcohol over the sorbet at least €8 - even if you think that it no longer plays a role at the price level (it's not mentioned for the caviar either, but in my opinion it is). logical). But in my opinion it should still be mentioned. The discovery of 2 hairs in one of the dishes was also only noted. I also don't think that the duck for 3 people offers as much more meat/skin as the duck for 2. But the price per person remains the same. So we found it rather disproportionate/outrageous. What was very nice at the end was the opportunity to go into the kitchen and get more information and see the special oven.

The ambience, atmosphere, service, food and cocktails created a wonderful overall picture. It was a really great experience and almost perfect except for a few little things. I'll definitely stop by again for a few drinks (although €18 isn't for those on a tight budget) and the music. I particularly liked the fact that even when I looked closely, nothing seemed cheap.

I had the pleasure of dining at Orania Berlin and it was simply amazing! The duck in particular was excellent – perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was absolutely top – 10 out of 10! The staff was friendly, attentive and made sure we felt completely comfortable. All in all, a wonderful experience that I can fully recommend. If you're looking for a great restaurant in Berlin, you've come to the right place!

The food was incredibly delicious, each course had its own charm and made the experience even more special. The complimentary chocolate finish was the perfect finale and rounded off the menu brilliantly. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We were there with our toddler and the treatment was simply fantastic. A lot of patience and understanding was shown, even toys were provided. When our child became restless, he was allowed to look behind the scenes in the kitchen - an incredibly nice gesture! The wine selection was also first class. Overall, a wonderful stay with a great offer and a wonderful team. We would love to come back!

We had to ask if we could order drinks and we also had to ask several times about the wine list Then a sorbet was brought to the table without mentioning that there was an extra charge, but with the statement that it was a greeting from the kitchen, and then we were charged €8 per person for it, even though we had never ordered it.

Orania is a special place. I almost don’t want to post this, Because it is my special place… and I would love if there was always room for me at the bar. But credit is due, so here I go! From its exterior, a beautiful building with a fancy hotel inside. Both true, but often that is it… Orania is so much more! In the morning It’s a great breakfast and quality cappuccino, in the evening it’s an excellent restaurant, and one of the most perfect bars I have ever experienced. I have been to many beautiful hotels, with quality ingredients, but the Orania team really takes it to the next level. Special thanks to Julian and Jacob, who are just the most charming and professional bartenders. And dear Kitchen, this is the best Caesar salad I have had since I can remember! Can I add sliced grilled X-Berg duck breast?! Bravo to the live musicians! 👏🫶

Das Menü ist großartig. Peking Ente erfolgreich übersetzt nach Berlin. Wir haben alles genossen, lediglich bei der Anzahl der Pfannkuchen im Verhältnis zur Hautmenge könnte man etwas nachjustieren. Der Service war Klasse. Besonders positiv erwähnen will ich hier das konsequente Branding mit Witz und Stil. Besonders im Fall des Weins (Dreissigacker Weißburgunder X-Berg Duck) wurde der perfekte Begleiter stilecht mit der eigenen Marke verbunden. Ganz großes Kompliment. Wir kommen gerne jederzeit wieder.

I applied to the restaurant as a trainee, unfortunately the HR manager was very unfriendly and canceled me for next year, without an offer to try out work or a personal invitation. If every company treats interested trainees like this, the catering industry will die, which is a shame.

I was lucky enough to be able to try the Peking duck or the x duck menu. The atmosphere and the service were sensational. The trainees who accompanied us throughout the evening were also excellent. I actually have no objections to the food, but I still only give it 4 stars because the second course overshadowed all the other courses to the maximum. The skin wrapped in crepes with ginger, hoisin, sugar were just wow! It's worth coming to Berlin for the experience.

We have wanted to eat duck here for a long time and were not disappointed. The food was excellent with surprising and exciting moments. Here you are in the upper price segment and get a wonderful taste experience in a very nice ambience with very courteous service. Four of us ate Peking duck. Service freundlich aber zu langsam. Peking-Ente wurde nicht bis zum Gast angeboten, leider nur ca. 150 Gramm pro Person bei einer 3Kg Ente??? Speisen waren kalt ( Pfannkuchen, Entenhaut...) Preis - Leistung ist nicht i.O. Schade. Trinkgeld gab es trotzdem 30,-€. Ihr könnt es besser ....

Ich war heute mit einer früheren Kollegin hier zum Frühstück. Die location ist wunderschön, der Service war sehr gut. Auch die angebotenen Lebensmittel waren von guter Qualität. ABER: das Bufett umfasst lediglich Getränke, Brot, Joghurt /Quark, Cerealien, etwas Obst, 2 Sorten Antipasti. Dazu muss man sich entscheiden, ob man Appetit auf Rohkost oder etwas Lachs oder Wurst/Käse hat. Menge und Auswahl der Sorten liegen in den Händen der Küche - wir bekamen Salami, Kochschinken, Brie, 2 Sorten Schnittkäse - nix besonderes. Eierspeisen aller Art gehen extra - für Rührei ohne nix immerhin 9 EUR. Sorry, aber bei dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis werden wir bestimmt nicht wiederkommen.

That duck is absolutely incredible!!!! Wow, we have never had better duck and we have experienced the Tour d'Argent in Paris! Margarita took great care of us and the manager and staff were very understanding of our young grandsons sitting through a 3 hr. Birthday dinner. Also the duck pizza was outstanding! Love the vibe, great music and food!!!!

Actually, the Orania could be an (almost) perfect place for breakfast, but the price/performance ratio is so poor that I only give it one star. I don't expect portions for lumberjacks, but for say 14€ I want to be at least halfway full and not be hungrier after the 5-6 bites that a plate provides than before. The Spanish tortilla was a small strip of egg tart (approx. 4-5 cm wide, 8-9 cm long and 4-5 cm high) with a small side salad. So, dear Orange people, profit maximization shouldn't be everything! It would be really nice if you didn't have to pay 30 euros or more per person to at least be halfway full. You have a great location, super nice staff and a nice ambience - you shouldn't have to give out such measly undersized portions. Quality and quantity don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Ab 21:00 Uhr am Wochenende Musik von Live Band. Keine Kosten dafür. Kleines Manko, Cocktails, sehr minimalistisch in der Menge. Das schmälert aber nicht den Gesamteindruck.

Der Service war 1A. Sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber auf eine lockere Art. Das Essen war ein Erlebnis. Da es live Musik gab, war es zwischendurch sehr schwierig sich zu unterhalten. Das könnte bei der Reservierung zuvor angekündigt werden, damit man ggf. auf einen Sterne Tag ausweichen kann. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Essen und die leckeren Drinks genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

I was alone at Orania on Sunday evening and it was totally worth it. I decided on the duck menu and it was exactly right! It's a lot for one person, but it's okay to take your time. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was also super friendly. I was even allowed to go into the kitchen and look at the duck kettle and everything was explained to me in detail by Anna 😉. Thank you again for that. In short, I would love to come back.

What a wonderful evening - the service was super attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The duck menu was absolutely delicious. The duck was carved at the table for the second course and so that we didn't wait too long, the kitchen had already prepared the second portion, which was served perfectly timed. You can tell that the team is very well-coordinated and really wants the guests to feel comfortable. It worked! Highly recommended (the dessert too - especially the pumpkin seed sundae)

Es war ein toller Abend mit einer sehr leckeren Interpretation der Peking Ente. Die Weinbegleitung war top und hat sehr gut mit den jeweiligen Gängen harmoniert. Eigentlich ist das Entenmenü erst ab zwei Personen zu erhalten was gut nachzuvollziehen ist, da immer eine ganze Ente zubereitet wird. Ohne ein Nachfragen meinerseits ob es denn möglich wäre das Menü auch alleine bestellen zu können, würde mir die Option schon direkt angeboten. Top. Die zweite Entenbrust wurde mir dann noch in einem Goodie Bag zu mitnehmen überreicht. Sehr netter, lockerer und zuvorkommenden Service. Das Ambiente im Restaurant mit der offenen Küche ist sehr gemütlich. Ein wirklich gelungener Abend. Ich komme wieder, dann aber nicht alleine. Danke

Das Restaurant und bar geht ineinander über und ist wirklich sehr angenehmen und schön gestaltet. Der Service sehr nett und freundlich, komischerweise waren es an unserem Abend nur junge Männer. Empfehlung: man sollte das signature dish die Peking Ente essen. Haben wir nicht, weil mein Mann keine Ente mag. Die Vorspeisen waren ok ( Spargel Salat mit frittierten Ei und die X-Berg Pizza). Die Pizza war echt lecker und hätte auch als Hauptgericht gereicht. Der Spargel Salat war homöopathisch (der Spargel), Preis Leistung schwierig. Noch krasser wird es bei den Hauptgerichten: hier steht das Preis Leistungsverhältnis in keiner Relation. Wir hatten den Skai (48€!!!) und die Kalbsfrikadellen. Der Skrai hatte einen zu intensiven Fisch Geschmack (nicht ganz frisch?), für uns zu durch, die Kruste sehr schön und die Soße exzellent. Die Kombination mit Hüttenkäse sehr lecker und kreativ. Die Kalbsfrikadellen waren sehr salzig, sehr lose (mir zu wabbelig), kaum Gemüse, aber die Soße auch hier hervorragend ebenso wie das Kartoffelpüree mit Schnittlauch Öl. Beide Gerichte wären in einer Preislage von 35-40€ angemessen und sehr gut gewesen. Das Dessert auch total überteuert, aber lecker (Champagner Crushed Ice, Grapefruit und Creme Klekse). Dafür waren die Weine preislich ok ( Cocktail 15€, Glas Rose 8€) und der Live Jazz ab 21 Uhr natürlich ein Highlight. ur Rechnung gibt es noch 6 kleine Splitter handgeschöpfte Schokolade, sehr lecker. Empfehlung: entweder die Peking Ente essen (79€ p.P.) oder an die Bar mit Drink und X-Berg Enten Pizza essen.

I‘ve actually sympathized with going to the Orania Restaurant for at least a couple of years. I guess the trigger was one of the very first articles I‘ve read about the „Peking/Kreuzberg Duck Menu“ and the (intrinsic) stopper probably was the restaurant being a „hotel restaurant“. I‘ve to admit, I gave the place a first check by visiting the Bar for some drinks after a stroll with a friend on Oranienstreet the other day. And guess what, our Bar experience was amazing! So the Orania Restaurant became my very first choice for this year’s birthday dinner, to finally go for the „mysterious“ Kreuzberg Duck (X-Bergs answer to the Peking Duck)! Not sure if there’s a word cut here and therefore giving the executive summary first: w/o question… one of the top 5 culinary experiences in Berlin for me over the past 21years I‘d the pleasure of living & enjoying many-many wonderful & inspirational culinary events here. No way of mentioning even some of them here w/o dissing/missing others. As well I‘d the opportunity to run some wonderful & mystic places as part of an awesome team myself. Ok. Let’s cut the marketing blabla. Listen folks, as a trained chef, a foodie & service lover by DNA as well as someone who fully gets, reads & understands the challenges of the moment, this experience was simply „Extraordinary“! The four course Kreuzberg Duck menu has been one of the top notch culinary & value4money experiences in Berlin EVER! On top of that the food was accompanied by an out of ordinary level of service. I‘d guess, that over the 4 courses we‘d had a minimum of 10 different service & chef people at the table. Might sound stressful, but believe me, it was a pure pleasure to get to know every single one of them, especially because of their so much away from average commitment & positive energy which came with each & everyone! Folks, hands on my heart, I paid the full bill and this feedback is 100% personal, not paid at all and simply based on my beliefs to „give back“! Before ending, my wife’s favorite part of a menu is the dessert (-> yeahhh, she’s a true sweetheart 😍) and even here, these crazy folks not only send their „TV style Pattissière“ to our table, but she also dropped some freaking amazing, no chi-chi & simply really tasty desserts. Ok. I get it. It’s seems far too much for an unpaid review, but hej, how much crap, average, overrated and simply „not ever come back shit“ have you been going through!? So I thought, I‘d might want to allow myself to get really carried away for once 😉! Again, very personal, very much of a Monday evening and very-very slightly infused by birthday emotions. Would have given six stars too. The service was at the highest level from the chef de rank to the trainees. Someone kept coming to wipe the table, but without being even remotely annoying. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a table at the counter from where you could watch the chefs. It was like meditation, seeing how respectful people treat food there. The chef always had a few seconds to ask about our well-being and even showed us the kitchen. I would have liked to put on my chef's jacket straight away and make something to eat. Speaking of food. We had the Peking duck menu and it was fantastic! It doesn't get any better. With the first spoonful of broth it became clear where Barthel got the must. World class! Logically, the boys also pay for the pleasure. But for the holistic experience, I'm not sad one cent. €240 including a €20 tip for two people is just the price for such an experience. But you don't do it every weekend ;-)

Schönes Restaurant mit einem tollen Entenmenü, tollem Wein und ausgezeichnetem Service. Ein schöner Abend mit Livemusik (war nicht eingeplant, aber eine nette Überraschung!) Jederzeit wieder und eine echte Empfehlung, wenn man etwas besonderes machen möchte. Was hat mir nicht gefallen: - entweder war der Tisch zu niedrig oder das Sofa/die Bank zu hoch. Grenzwertig bequem für Menschen ab 1,80 m. Größere dürften sich wie auf Kindermöbeln im Kindergarten fühlen. - der Preis war noch ok, aber insgesamt etwas hoch. - nachdem die Musik angefangen hatte zu spielen, war an eine Unterhaltung am Tisch nicht mehr zu denken. Das sollte man ggf einplanen, auch wenn es insgesamt tolle Jazzmusik war.

Excellent food at a not yet overpriced price in a very cozy, tasteful atmosphere. The service was also very attentive and extremely friendly, although it was much more on the ball when clearing away than when ordering or giving advice. Bonus point for the well-stocked bar and open kitchen as well as the very clean, warm (!) toilet.

Dieses Restaurant hat eine einzigartige Atmosphäre. Ein Ruhepool mitten in Berlin. Ab dem ersten Moment fühlt man sich zu Hause oder wie zu Gast bei guten Freunden im Wohnzimmer. Das liegt nicht nur an der gemütlichen und geschmackvollen Einrichtung, sondern vor allem an dem freundlichen und äußerst aufmerksamen Personal. As a guest of the hotel, we wanted to spend the first evening in the hotel restaurant. So we booked a table in the late evening. First we were sat at a table next to a family with two small children, were one of them was very dissatisfied and noisy. Fair enough - kids will be kids. But as we were planning to use the whole evening and a lot of money we asked for a different table. There were no one available. We asked, if we could sit in the bar instead (there were other people sitting and eating in the bar). That was perfect for the staff. We ordered the food (seven in total) but, they left before we could order anything to drink. After 10—15 minutes we got a hold of the waiter and got something to drink. The whole evening we were not getting service unless we several time asked the waiter for more to drink. At one point we had food but empty glasses for 20 minutes with only 7 people in the bar. That's expected by a low quality restaurant or bar, but not a high rated hotel restaurant and bar. My boyfriend asked for a craft beer in a bottle, that he had seen been served at another table. He knows the brewery and asked if they have beers from them. He gets one without asking him what sort of beer he want's. Later on it turns out the they had more then one kind. Why not ask, do you want an ipa or pilsner? It doesn't take that long to ask... I asked at some point what type of gin they had. He said over 30 and left again. After 10 minutes he came back: "you wanted a gin and tonic?". The short answer was no. But if he had stopped and asked me, if he could help me, he would have sold me a cocktail with gin. At some point the waiter pops by and said sorry for the delay of the food. We are both thinking that it's not the food, but our empty glasses that's a big problem. I tell him, that if we can get something more to drink, it perfectly fine. He tells me that the wine is on him for the delay of the food. After end evening we got a receipt that had 4 glasses of white wine, when I only had tree (I ate a hole meal without wine). He changed it, even though it was clear he thought I had four. But boy, I would have had at least 5 glasses if they had paid attention. Ohhh yeah what happened to the free glass of wine? Don't say it if you are going to charge it anyway... It was clear that some guests was more important than us. They got hugs and a lot of attention. That's perfectly understandable, you should always take care of regulars, but can we at least get something to drink? We are not asking for a long conversation, just proper service. The food was fine, but not amazing. The service was horrible though...

Wir wollten eigentlich das Duck-Menü nehmen, allerdings war es nicht möglich einen Gang (Entenhaut) in eine Alternative zu tauschen. Haben wir so auch noch nie erlebt . Haben uns dann für à la carte entschieden: Farbloses und sehr übersichtliches Kalbsgulasch für 48.-€, uninspirierter Skrel für 44.-€, beides ohne irgendeine Erklärung. Absolut enttäuschend. Das Ambiente ist schön, der Service bemüht aber absolut unflexibel, no Go in dieser Preisklasse. Wir kommen wieder, aber dann nur zum Jazz-Konzert an die Bar.

Das Ambiente im Restaurant vermittelt eine gewisse Gemütlichkeit. Leider sind die Stühle ziemlich niedrig, so das es sich eher ungemütlich sitzt. Wir hatten die angewandelte Peking Ente, nach Kreuzberger Art. Danei war der zweite Gang für uns der Beste. Hier bekommt man die Entenhaut, am Platz entsprechend geschnitten, serviert mit Crêpes, Hoisin Soße und diversen Beilagen. Sehr lecker, wobei die eingelegten Gurken nicht so der Brüller waren, aber das ist ja Geschmacksache. Der Rest war okay. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Abend, netten Service, aber einem nicht ganz passenden Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

The duck used to be a hit. The fermented vegetables on the menu are often too sour, which has nothing to do with umami. The overall taste has diminished. The main course with the leg meat is still too minimalistic. Too small and inconspicuous.

Ich weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll. Der gestrige Abend war vom Anfang an der Bar bis zum Ende mit Verlassen des Restaurants ein wirklich perfektes Erlebnis. Natürlich hat man bei gewissen Adressen auch seine Erwartungen, aber das was gestern abgefeuert wurde hat jede Erwartungen gesprengt. Der Service war über die Maßen aufmerksam und freundlich, leere Gläser blieben nicht lange leer. Sogar eine Reklamation bzgl. des Essens wurde umgehend freundlich und ohne Anstalten bearbeitet und neu zubereitet. Ich könnte gar nicht zufriedener sein das Restaurant für meinen Geburtstag ausgewählt zu haben. Vielen Dank.

Top Notch! Wir waren zu 5. da und hatten wirklich sehr sehr viel Spaß. Die X-Berg Duck war Strong und ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Leider war die Platzierung direkt vor der Band und die Live Musik wenn auch gut war dadurch sehr laut und ein unterhalten war nahezu nicht mehr möglich. Absolute Empfehlung. Brot mit Ei hat ein super Video zu gemacht, schaut’s euch an.

Overall decent place but nothing extra ordinary. Wouldn’t go back. It’s more breakfast than brunch. EGGS BENEDICT was tasty with perfect poached eggs. Hollandaise was full of flavor and light but could use more. JAPANESE PANCAKES. Tasty but could have used another pancake to balance the big flavor of the Asian sauces. SWEET WAFFLES. basic and nothing that stood out other than the roasted pistachios. Waffle could have had some crunch to the edges. Overall decently tasty but small portions. Woudl not recommend the coffee but yes to the mango smoothie. Service was subpar for the standard of a hotel. Seemed busy and we were not sure about the server.

Das Essen war geschmacklich top. Leider war der Service nicht umwerfend. Der Wunsch, ob man im Enten-Menü Koriander weglassen könnte, wurde zwar bestätigt, in der Umsetzung gab es jedoch Schwierigkeiten. Die Weinberatung zum Essen war nicht aussagekräftig. Gegen Ende des Menüs lief der Service eher schleppend und wir saßen vor leeren Gläsern. Dafür leider Punktabzug. Ambiente toll und wir konnten den zuerst zugeteilten Tisch problemlos wechseln.

Watch out - they are using the ice cube trick. The ice cube in the drinks is the same size as the glass! The drink itself is therefore 1 cl. In addition, the bartenders eavesdrop (rude), confront you (I guess they felt caught) and then want to make you believe that the ice cube is the most elaborate and expensive part of the whole drink and is needed for cooling. This is standard in bartending and the drinks themselves are always so small. So I ask myself, how cheap is the alcohol they use? And why in other bars with fewer ice cubes does the drink still stay cool? Tourist trap. On my no-go list from now on

I recently placed an order where the food was completely cold and the extra portion of hummus was missing. Instead of addressing my concerns, I was portrayed as a liar, which I find very disappointing. As a loyal customer who has ordered from Klub Kitchen many times, I expect a more respectful treatment and a simple apology when something goes wrong. Such a reaction is unacceptable to me, and I hope that customer complaints will be handled more professionally in the future!

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier .Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten,das Restaurant zu finden , wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Sehr schönes Ambiente, sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Auch extra Wünsche ( Allergie) wurden sehr gelungen umgesetzt. Die Gerichte wurden auch optisch sehr gelungen presentiert und waren super lecker. Der Oldtimer ( Cord) sollte auch unbedingt beachtet werden. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
