Orange Beach in Frankfurt am Main

A laid-back spot to grab a cold one and unwind after a bike ride or a stroll along the river. Seems like a nice place to be during summer. 🌞

An institution for people who know it. It's always worth a stop on our bike tours.

World-class location, located directly on the Main. Lots of seating (beer tent sets, beach chairs, deck chairs) and bar tables. Everything was kept simple but very cozy and authentic. A dream for beer drinkers, around 15-20 different types of beer, bottle for €3.50 - €4 I think is completely fine for a perfectly chilled blonde. The operator is unique, super friendly and enjoys chatting with his guests. A grill is available if you're a little hungry. It's a shame that it's over at the end of the year because of the new bridge. I will definitely come here a few more times.

If you ignore the location under a railway bridge and between industrial plants, which takes some getting used to, it's actually a very chilled beach bar with a very large selection of drinks at really fair prices.

Cult beer garden on the northwest bank of the Main. Hard to beat in summer - when it comes to views and beer selection. Pro tip: It's best to bring something to eat yourself (if you're a vegetarian) and then just sit back, relax and enjoy the view.

Pretty run-down beer garden in western Gallus. It's already past its best and - because it's on the tracks - it's too loud too often. It's hard to understand why there are so many 4-star reviews here.

An oasis with charm, torn between the calmly flowing Main and the trains rattling over the steel bridge. If I lived in Frankfurt it would definitely be one of my favorite places. I can't write anything about the food but the man behind the counter is an original.

A pearl of Frankfurt - unfortunately it has become too rare. You sit directly on the Main in a beautiful atmosphere. Has a little bit of the flair of St. Pauli. There is also live music there every now and then and the evening sun comes around the corner. I think the grilled sausages are delicious, but there is no vegetarian option. At least I haven't seen anything there yet. For example, halloumi or something else grilled vegetarian could be added.

Nice location, there is a barbecue, there is good coffee and there are toilets... it's fine! Come back 😊

I'd like to answer Maike's review just below because this is completely unfair for the Orange Beach... What makes you think we weren't enjoying the music?! So because we are there with children or not 20 yo anymore we can't party? FYI there was actually a birthday going on, the Eintracht Frankfurt just had won the Bundesliga game, we were enjoying the last days of summer and the music was fire ! I think you just got the whole concept of this place wrong and weren't at the right place, maybe opt for a regular bar or cafe next time but it's quite common to have those enhanced Trinkhallees here so if it's not your vibe then just don't come instead of writing unfair comments 🤷‍♂️ NB: Shout out to the Orange Beach team & the DJs, those tracks really were bangers 🎶😎 immer wieder gerne ❤ NBB i'd also like to precise before someone thinks I’m defending my staff friends that i wasn't part of those events, it was also my first time here, I’m not even German 😁

Nice view of the Main, but feels a bit shabby/grungy. There was hectic party music blasting despite it being afternoon and only a few people around; the audience was families, older people and chilled couples, not party types. The DJ clearly did not pay attention or care about his audience. Nice idea for the setting but the train constantly thundering overhead sadly ruins it a bit. Not as nice as it looks from the photos.

Here you can sit under a bridge on the banks of the Main in the evening. Small snacks and drinks are available at the kiosk.

Orange Beach, a quiet hide-away on the Main in Frankfurt with lots of greenery. Free lazy patio chairs everywhere on the water. Kiosk with fresh drinks and a BBQ stand with sausage and bread. Normal prices. Downside during rush hour... the train regularly passes over the bridge above you.

Interesting location under the railway bridge, with a beautiful view of the Main and an extensive selection of drinks. The area is also beautifully landscaped and there are some fun seating areas. Luckily there was also mosquito spray, otherwise we would probably have left after the first drink.

Amazing hidden spot in FFM. Very chill and lovely. Best accessible with bike. There is a kiosk that serves beer and wine. I really love this place! In my opinion they could also do burgers as they have a grill, but still amazing, 4 Euro for a glass of 0.2 wine

Very nice and I'm actually very enthusiastic, but the deafening freight trains and the mosquitoes spoil the experience

If you want to feel like a homeless person, you can give it 5 stars. Dirty. It smelled of urine and the joints that the various guests smoked. And I'm glad I didn't eat anything there. I didn't want to eat anything because it makes you lose your appetite. I think it's a disgusting location!

It's self-service but fits the ambience. Generally totally relaxed, beautiful view. They also like to grill, but the quality of the food varies somewhat. Prices are fair, sometimes the train is very loud but all in all I really enjoy meeting friends here.

This was my first time in Germany and I had my first beer here. It's a place called Kakuuchi in Japan, and it's located at the foot of a railway bridge, so it's a must-see spot for railway fans and beer lovers. There was a wide variety of beers, and there were many names listed on the menu, but I wasn't sure which one was good, so I asked the staff for a recommendation, and they offered me the beer in the photo. I was hungry, so I asked if there was a food menu and was told that the sausages were just ready. I was filled with a sense of euphoria from the delicious beer and sausages.

I was here at the end of the 90s and it still has the same flair as before ❤️

Located directly on the Main, you can relax here with bottled drinks and simple food (bratwurst etc.). Prices are moderate. Recommended for dry weather.

There is a lot of passion in the location. The operators certainly won't get rich, but "the thing" under the bridge is truly unique. We recommend.

Very cool “Büdchen”. Perfect as a stopover on a bike tour around Frankfurt. Extremely friendly operator who offers an unusual and extensive selection of beers for the area. In addition, if you are interested, you can get “Büdchen literature” as information material. Right on the Main, "covered" by two railway bridges, that's something :-D Take a drive past there!

A perfect stopover during a bike tour! You can sit comfortably and relaxed on the Main and the kiosk offers a great selection of beer, there is also a barbecue on the weekend and there is a small selection of food. Recommended if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere.

I sometimes go to a Café right next to my house, which has a beautiful view, but there is a train passing by above, because trains pass under the bridge every 3-5 minutes. This noise can disturb me, but apart from that, it is a pleasant Café.

Super entspanntes Bier und Sonne genießen im Strandkorb mit Palmenfeeling.

Diese Bar & Grill ist wirklich eine Reise wert. Direkt am nördlichen Mainufer und einem Fahrradweg unter einer Brücke gelegen, lädt Orange-Beach zu einem Päuschen ein. Liegestühle und andere Sitzmöglichkeiten sind meist ausreichend vorhanden. Ein schöner Blick auf den Main, ein leckeres Bierchen und einige Grillspezialitäten versüßen den Aufenthalt

Chilliges und ruhiges Plätzchen. Gute und verschiedene Sorten Bier gibt es hier auch. Brezel und Grillfleisch zum Essen.
