I absolutely cannot recommend it. It's an extremely unpleasant place, the service is terrible, and hygiene is nonsensical. You order, and what you get is completely different. They don't ask about the spiciness or anything else, and their philosophy is to eat whatever you find. When they take my order, it's as if they're giving me food for free, as if they're just going to take it and leave. It's baffling how they even allow a place like this to exist. It's unbelievable how they even manage to run a business.

Their manakish is delicious, but the service is very bad, and the tables are always dirty if you are a young man and you come alone... You will stay sitting at the table for an hour and they will not ask you what you want to order, but if they see a family or Germans coming, they will stomp on them... It's not just this restaurant, all Syrian restaurants are like this... If you are a young man alone, a piece of advice, don't torture yourself

I ordered a Mandi meal...unfortunately it was reheated...the rice and chicken were hot on the outside and cold on the inside, so it was probably microwaved...

Unsatisfactory visit – not recommended (August 14, 2025, 4:30–5:30 p.m.) The food was cold and had to be reheated. The chicken had a rubbery texture, and the meat had black discoloration in several places, indicating a lack of freshness. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired – the restrooms, in particular, were extremely unsanitary and barely usable. After politely complaining to the staff, I received only unfriendly and inappropriate responses. Overall, a disappointing experience – I will definitely not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.

It was a wonderful experience in every sense of the word - the best falafel and musabbaha in Europe - and the manakish was 100% perfect, and the axe was worth the four-hour drive from Luxembourg 🤭😋 Seriously, may God bless them for this delicious meal 😍 If you are still wondering whether to go or not, don't think too much and go, you won't regret it!! 💯💯💯💯

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful First, the service is (very) fast, but the manakish is served without appetizers. Second, on Eid day, Iraqi songs are played instead of takbirs. Third, there are strange people in the place. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.

I would never recommend it. The quality has deteriorated significantly. The toilets are incredibly dirty.

We ordered a shawarma plate, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The meat was barely visible; there was really very little. We also only got about 10 pieces of fries with the plate. For the price, we definitely expected more.

We ordered the zinger on the phone, it was not working and was dry as a stone. The shawarma was full of oil and not wrapped properly. The fries with the broasted chicken were as if they were begging for it. It was very expensive compared to the meal. A bad experience, not to be repeated.

Very small, cozy restaurant close to the train station. The name is misleading. It is typical Syrian cuisine. The dishes are very tasty, fresh, cheap and extremely filling. If you want to go on a wonderful culinary trip for little money, this is absolutely the right place for you.

The second day we came back because the food was good, but the story is that the owner of the restaurant was not there. The situation was very chaotic (service became bad after a quarter of an hour until a grocery employee came to clean the table and they did not like anything. Side conversations between the workers never tasted good in front of the customers, and offensive terms, of course, as a financial customer, I have to listen to them. I was going and paid 50 euros for two people to put my head at ease. We asked for breakfast and he said it was not available. We remained silent and five minutes later someone ordered breakfast and they brought it to him. (Whoever has a family never gives me advice, and for my part, this is the last time I go to the restaurant, unfortunately.)

When we asked the waiter about it, he said that there was no more Coke Zero - but later we saw in the fridge that it was there. I used to eat at this restaurant since I was a student at UDE. I generally use to take away. Recently this happened to me: I am an Asian, i visited around 14:00 there, it is very less crowded at this time. I was sitting inside and there are three people from arabic decent sat next to me, waiter took their order and saw me waiting.. there is another waiter saw me and did even bother take my order.. I have waited 25 min still no one took the order. Finally, I left! Why this mistreatment for certain ethnicity? Is it because am Asian? Why the special treatment for Arabic people? I will never visit this restaurant anymore!

I had heard good things about the place, so I was looking forward to some good Arabic food. Unfortunately, the store overall seemed unkempt. The tables were all dirty and were only cleaned reluctantly upon request. Shawarma wasn't good either. Not enough meat, which was also dry, too much pickles and sauce. Also done carelessly, everything dripped out the bottom. And it wasn't rolled properly either, so the paper was immediately soaked everywhere. Until then, I hadn't thought that you could go so wrong with shawarma. Kibbe was the worst I've ever eaten and I've eaten hundreds in Arabia. Dry as the desert, meat of the cheapest quality, not even freshly made but fried for the second time to warm it up. It was almost black. No recommendation!

Quality of food changed from before. I ordered Fatteh the sauce was very bad. Food came late although it was before very fast. Falafel didn't taste good. My friend ordered Fateh with Olivenöl and it wasn't tasty. We told the waiter and he didn't do any reaction. I am not sure if management of this restaurant changed recently.
