Al Midan Al Dimaschki in Essen

We ordered five Arabic chicken shawarma meals on Eid al-Adha. My kids and I got food poisoning and spent the Eid in the hospital. We will never buy from you again.

After three years, nothing has changed. The young man in charge of occupying tables outside is very chaotic. There is no set pattern or method for registering customers or putting them on a waiting list. The staff in the restaurant, especially in the cafe, are doing an excellent job and the atmosphere is beautiful. But the arrangement of tables outside spoils the entire experience and gives a bad impression to customers, especially those of non-Syrian nationalities.

I wanted to go in. I waited for two and a half hours. There was an appointment and at the end, anyone who wanted to go in could go in, but we didn't go in.

I do not advise anyone to visit. All the workers are rude, and they make you feel like you came to eat for free and leave.

Garbage restaurant with an inclusive staff. I hope that no one comes near this restaurant so that you don't hate something called food.

The chicken was still raw and the meat wasn't good. After eating, I got a stomach ache. The tabbouleh tasted like soap. It used to be tastier. But now, unfortunately, it's not anymore.

This is the kind of person who instills a sophisticated spirit in the place, and who makes customers come back not just once, but every time. The attention to detail here begins at the door and ends with a smile from Ayman, who bids you farewell as if you were one of the restaurant's staff. An experience filled with taste, respect, and professionalism... and a place worthy of every visit.
