You wait for someone to come and take your order. It takes you a quarter of an hour to ask for the bill, a minute for it to be there, and in the end the food is cold.

On Saturday, November 1st, 2025, we ordered food for four people. We were shocked to find that the pastries were stale and the musahhan was fresh. The rest of the order, unfortunately, needed a garbage container. The funny thing is, we ordered a pot of tea with the pastries. The teapot was brought first, but by the time the stale pastries arrived, the teapot had turned into Coca-Cola. We argued with the waiter, who lied and said the pastries were fresh. I told him, "Your words are a lie; these pastries are old. There's no need to lie. Take your pastries and goodbye." This will hopefully be the last time we visit this so-called restaurant. They treat people with disgusting contempt. Our trip from Duisburg-Lassen was nothing but heartbreak and regret for trusting these people. In short, may God not forgive you for what you did to us. When someone goes to a restaurant and orders food, it means the order should be fresh. Not a repeat. The important thing is that our day was filled with regret. May God make your day as miserable as you made ours.

The food was delicious, I recommend everyone come and try it. The prices are reasonable for everyone, and the service is truly amazing. They welcome you in the best way possible. There's a guy there named Qabaqji who's absolutely wonderful. He's very friendly, always smiling, and the way he talks to customers and treats them makes you want to come back to the restaurant or cafe more than once. All my love and respect to all the staff and the young people there, but I especially want to give a special welcome to Qabaqji. 😍🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the service is excellent. There's a very respectable young man named Qabaqji who was in charge of our table, and we didn't lack anything.

I went to Al Midan Al Dimaschki today and I'm absolutely thrilled! The food was fantastic – super fresh and incredibly delicious. The shisha was also amazing, perfectly flavored and very pleasant to smoke. I especially want to commend the service – incredibly friendly, attentive, and simply the best I've had today! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Al-Maidan Al-Dimashqi Restaurant is one of the best Syrian restaurants in Germany! The food is delicious and has an authentic Levantine flavor, especially the shawarma and grilled meats. The staff are respectful and their service is quick, and the place is clean and tidy. The atmosphere is comfortable and makes you feel like you're in Damascus. I recommend everyone try it 👌🇸🇾🇩🇪

The worst restaurant and the treatment is very bad. Guys, my friends and I went to them. They came to me from outside Germany. We ordered a burger and shawarma and we said that we would eat at the restaurant. They gave it to us to take out, even though they knew we wanted to eat at the table. I felt like I was begging from them. The treatment was zero zero zero and the shawarma was good, to be honest, but the burger was terrible. It was like a dog's meat. You'd think it was putting...

Sometimes the food is very good, especially the shawarma, and sometimes it is crowded and the service is very slow and the food is not good.

The service is wonderful. The guys are very respectful. There is a guy named Khalil, he is very respectful. The workers are generally respectful. This is my first experience, and I hope it will be repeated.

Super delicious food. Since I'm always up for trying new things, I opted for Arabic today. Absolutely excellent service, clean, modern restaurant. The spacious outdoor area was very busy. The food was really delicious, hot, the lamb was well-cooked, and the chicken was also perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. A truly excellent and tasty meal. The sauce served on the table (pomegranate sauce) was also something new and went very well with the dish.
