The spare ribs were delicious, lots of meat, and very juicy and tender. The burger was also excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful, old, and charming.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but I ordered the Caserian salad, and I've never had such a sad salad. It consisted of green lettuce leaves, a few slices of cucumber, and about a package of Parmesan cheese on top with some kind of dressing... I can't recommend this salad; I wouldn't dare serve something like that if I were the owner.

The cabin burger was probably the best burger I've ever eaten. Plus, top-notch service and a lovely, rustic atmosphere.

A very appealing inn. Good, solid food... I personally found my burger meat a bit too tightly packed. But otherwise, we have no complaints. The service staff was very friendly, and we had a very nice table even though we hadn't made a reservation.

Excellent gluten-free burgers! I don't eat meat and am gluten intolerant. The vegetarian burgers contain gluten – the staff was incredibly accommodating and quickly found a solution. Thank you so much! All the food was of very high quality.

We both had the veal schnitzel for lunch. Unfortunately, the meat was tough and tasted of old fat—a shame considering the price was almost €30 per meal. The fries, however, were decent, and the service was very friendly.

A really great place with lots of flair and very friendly service. There's a large outdoor area with plenty of seating. The food was good. We both had burgers. It's worth noting that the burgers were cooked well. They came with a bun. The price/performance ratio is reasonable. Overall, I can recommend the place. If you're near Lake Constance, you'll definitely find something delicious here.

I expected more...we ordered a veal cutlet with fries and sausage. The cutlet (€26.50) arrived in two pieces, one of which was quite tough (it looked like leftovers). My husband's dish was neither good nor bad. In the end, we paid less given the bad impression they made. The only positive note is the (Italian) staff, who are truly very kind.

My wife and I wanted something traditional. After looking at many Bavarian restaurants, but many of them weren't fully booked, we came across this place with a terrace full of customers and thought it had to be good. I wasn't expecting that with my wife, when the waiter, a bald guy who seemed to be in charge, spoke to us in German, then in English. After explaining that we were Italian, he started speaking to us in Italian. We weren't expecting such a nice atmosphere and such a good atmosphere with the customers. Even if you're a foreigner, you feel at home. Plus, the food tastes good and is of high quality, and the service is top-notch. Comparing many regions of Italy, I can honestly say we weren't expecting such a wonderful evening. We give the place 5 stars.

I don't understand how people don't look at the sign that says "we'll bring you to your table." Many customers enter the terrace avoiding the sign. We are polite and know how to read. We are led to the table in the blink of an eye. This is where the beauty begins for any tourist who wants to experience peace on vacation. The waiter speaks a little Portuguese and I feel like I'm on vacation. Everything is calm with the terrace full, a pleasant atmosphere. Then the food arrives, which did not disappoint us. The ribs are unique. My wife and I liked everything.

As a local, I've walked by every now and then, but now I've finally gone in. It's really good, home-style cooking. The currywurst was a dream, and my wife's schnitzel was also perfect. The burgers are also amazing, some of them almost too big :D. The service was super attentive and friendly. We certainly won't be eating there again! :)

I've rarely been served such a miserable meal! The "colorful farmer's salad with herb dressing and grilled chicken strips" had neither color nor (despite an intensive search) even a hint of herbs in the advertised herb dressing. The chicken strips were anything but grilled. The turkey schnitzel was frozen and drowned in fat in the deep fryer. The spare ribs advertised on the menu weren't available, apparently because there wasn't a delivery. From my experience with the restaurant, the spare ribs have probably never been available... Because who would prepare them?? The "crowning feature" were the sanitary facilities! I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like.... It was also noticeable that the selection of guests was very deliberate. Requests from people who just wanted a drink were turned away because everything was "reserved." Suddenly, a seat was available for well-heeled guests! What they're doing here is absolutely terrible, and I can only advise everyone not to visit this place. It's a shame they can't give negative stars.

The food was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, there was so much smoking outside that the taste was spoiled anyway. This gets a minus point because the owners don't do anything about this smoke nuisance.

Don't bother with the burgers here. They use frozen patties, the bacon is undercooked, and the portion of fries is big enough for a 2 year old.

Excellent Bavarian cuisine and local specialties. The Italian staff is very professional and friendly. The location is beautiful; we recommend eating inside. I personally recommend the Bavarian meatballs and the Meckatzer Weizen beer.

We were there today. We would have liked an Aperol and a beer. We were rudely asked to leave around 3 p.m. in the pouring rain because the seating outside is reserved for diners only.

If you're looking for something a bit more touristy and want to try a light snack, this is the place for you. Plenty of Bavarian/Alpine cuisine. Delicious beer from Meckatzer. Good quality. The Maultaschen (swabian pasta) and mashed potatoes are among the few vegetarian options, but they tasted very good.

We ate here last week. According to the GM, we were looking for the burger place here and couldn't find it. But the bill said Onkel Toms Wirtshaus (Uncle Tom's Wirtshaus). As for the food, we were very, very satisfied. If we were ever in the area again, we would eat here again. We didn't have a burger, but a regional dish, plus something for the kids.

Great food, and extremely tender meat (I've never eaten such tender roast pork). Optionally, ask for the extra room for up to 6 people if you want some peace and quiet, but otherwise, the ambiance is very nice.

"Wait, you'll be shown to your seat." This simple and straightforward instruction is consistently ignored. Then you shouldn't be surprised by the server's remark. In our case, it only took a brief moment—a quick glance—and we were shown to our seats. That's how it should be. If you can read. The staff's almost friendly yet respectable demeanor is no problem for me/us. You feel welcome. The food, Allgäu cheese spaetzle and a turkey schnitzel with potato salad, along with delicious drinks. Tip-top. All in all, highly recommended.

Good, hearty, and traditional Bavarian food in the heart of the island. The restaurant is run by a fun, courteous, and efficient chef.

After passing by several Italian restaurants because we weren't in the mood for Italian food, we ended up here. We were a bit irritated to find Italian waiters here, too, despite a rather Bavarian menu. They were nevertheless very friendly, and the snack platter was okay – too much salami for my taste and unfortunately only one type of cheese, but the crackling lard was very good and the portion was large.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere breathtaking. The service was prompt and friendly, and you'll want to linger for a while.

The hamburger was well-seasoned. I prefer patties that are still pink in the middle, but that wasn't the case here. The salad and all the toppings were fresh, and the fries were nice and crispy. The staff was friendly and quick. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed today (Wednesday), and we couldn't eat there a second time. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely come back!

The mayo was rancid and had to be returned. The glasses were only half full (spritz). The food just didn't taste good... the Leberkäse (liver sausage) was really borderline (see photo). This is not German food... this is a cheap East European rip-off.

Ambience and service were good, but the food was terrible. We had a burger and a small salad. Frozen patties, and definitely not organic. Cheap food. Burger buns from the discount store, and everything else. Salad was completely over-salted. I like burgers, but this really wasn't good quality. Poor value for money. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it!
