Ong Tao Oberursel in Oberursel (Taunus)

Found this place while walking through town. Almost a stroke of luck. The food was very tasty and fresh. Both the summer rolls and the curry were great. The ambience is simple, but still appealing.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while looking for a place to have lunch and were not disappointed. The dishes are incredibly tasty and rich! We liked absolutely everything. We also ordered cold homemade drinks, which we were very happy with. The prices are also very reasonable, the staff is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent food and service! The prices are acceptable. The owner of the restaurant received us 20 minutes before closing time, made us food and let us finish our meal without haste even an hour after the end of working hours. Thanks to the staff and the owner for that. That's why they deserve more than five stars. All praise!

We were there for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The food was excellent and the waiter was very nice and accommodating. Nice and cozy restaurant.

I hate to write this but the fried rice with prawns, beef and lap xuong, which hasn't been available for a year, was really bad. The rice tasted of old oil and salt and when I asked that the Vietnamese salami was missing I was told that they hadn't had it for a year. Guys, you have 365 days to take the dish off the menu. My brother-in-law is Vietnamese, I was glad he wasn't there yesterday...sorry.

Frustrating experience We had lunch, I had a burger and there was still plastic stuck to the meat, probably cling film. I mentioned it to the waiter and his reaction left me speechless. He nodded briefly, then went into the kitchen with the plates and then spoke to the cooks. And otherwise there was no further reaction. Food was also charged in full and no accommodation or apology for anything like that. You can't recommend a restaurant like this.

Every time I go, the food seems to get less and less delicious. And I wish I could be kinder.

The food is fantastic. With regard to vegan nutrition, the restaurant offers a wide range of options, including various protein sources. All vegan dishes taste great. Homemade lemonades or teas are particularly recommended for drinking. The atmosphere is very pleasant, both inside and outside. I can only recommend a visit here!

We have been to Ong Tao Oberursel a few times now and it has always been very good. The selection of vegetarian dishes (and overall) is very large, and everything is super tasty! The service is always very nice. We're always happy to come back!

Really really good Vietnamese food, many vegan options. The menu is rich with different flavours outside of the classic that you would normally order. The drinks were also very good and the staff was very cordial and welcoming!

Ong Tao is one of my favorite restaurants in Oberursel and I go there at least once a month. The food tastes very good and comes to the table quickly. The staff is also friendly. I highly recommend it. And I would also like to have it delivered to me.

Delicious food with good vegetarian options

Unfortunately not good today. An attractive restaurant and very nicely located. Good food so far, but I can only strongly advise against the starter no. 9 tiger prawn tempura. Instead of the expected very thin and fantastic tempura breading, you can expect an extremely thick layer of dough that cannot be defined and on top of that an extremely fatty thick breading under which you can hardly taste the shrimp. The dip that came with it wasn't homemade either, but rather Knorr cocktail sauce. VERY unfortunate. Otherwise everything was good so far.

We selected Ong Tao based partly on the menu and partly on the Trip Advisor reviews, and both were spot-on accurate. Terrific food served by friendly and attentive staff in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Both my wife and I agreed: We need to come back here!

By far the BEST Asian cuisine Oberursel has to offer. A really great feel-good atmosphere with great service. So far everything I've eaten there has been very tasty and there's never been anything to complain about about the food. The homemade lemonade is amazing!

A few months ago the food was really tasty, even if mistakes were made several times. 1x the meat was forgotten, 1x a vegetarian dish was replaced by a dish with meat without warning, wrong drinks etc. It wouldn't actually be a problem if the service was transparent - but unfortunately that wasn't the case. But we kept coming back because the food was always good. Unfortunately, today I was disappointed: my soup (not a bargain at €14.50) was made with instant broth, judging by its taste and appearance. The to-go cup is only half full and the side dishes have also shrunk by half compared to last year. That's a real shame and we won't be coming back any time soon.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a small and lovingly furnished restaurant in the pedestrian zone of Oberursel. There is a good and varied selection of food, and of course vegetarians will also find something tasty here, so there is something for all fans of Asian cuisine. The delicious lemonades are also very good, especially an alternative to Cola, Fanta, etc.

The best chance find of last year. I am now a regular customer and have never been disappointed.

Super Ambiente, leckeres Essen und Service

Sehr schönes vietnamesisches Restaurant mit netter Bedienung .

Man müsste vielleicht mal die Heizung höher stellen, denn es war etwas kalt.

Oberursel Stadtmitte에 위치한 식당 입니다. 음식은 깔끔하고 양도 적당합니다. 튀긴 요리는 상당히 맛이 있지만, 메인 음식들의 간이 조금 약합니다. 맛이 없지는 않는데, 이전에 먹었던 볶음밥이나 이번에 먹은 쌀국수도 간이 조금 약해서 약간 아쉬운 맛이 였습니다.

Das ist ist ausgesprochen gut, die Getränke allerdings völlig überteuert. Die Portionen waren „ausgewogen“.

Sehr freundlicher Service. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, und obwohl das Lokal ziemlich gut besucht war, haben wir einen schönen Tisch bekommen. Das Essen war lecker, und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt auch. Man kann das Lokal wirklich empfehlen.

Está en una calle tranquila. Hay un parking subterráneo a pocos metros del restaurante, el cual es bastante barato. Los camareros son muy amables y atentos. La comida estaba muy rica. Las sopas exquisitas. A muy buen precio. Ya lo hemos anotado como nuestro restaurante de "cena de viernes"

Thật bất ngờ o vùng Oberursel cách Frankfurt 15 phút lái xe có một nhà hàng mang phong cách Việt Nam rất ấn tượng - Vij trí quá đẹp ngày trên phố đi bộ của làng ( có thể đi dạo tham quan xung quanh với những kiến trúc mang phong cách cổ - Thuc ăn ngon trình bày đẹp, giá hợp lý - Phuc vụ nhanh và niềm nỡ vui vẻ - không gian thoáng đẹp ngồi trong nhà và ngoài trời

The Banh Bao Burger was so bad, the burger bum was so hard that it was impossible to eat, I guess it has been exposed in the air for a long time, not recommended

Das Restaurant liegt direkt in der Oberurseler Fußgängerzone und bietet sowohl Innen- als auch Außensitzplätze. Der Gastraum ist schick asiatisch eingerichtet, auf den Holzstühlen sitzt man bequem. Bei gutem Wetter wird die Fensterfront nach vorn komplett geöffnet - sehr angenehm. Die Speisekarte ist groß und abwechslungsreich. Unser Essen schmeckte gut (das Hähnchen hatte allerdings ein paar knorpelige Stellen), unser Service war sehr freundlich. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde eingegangen. Parken: Am einfachsten im Parkhaus am Rathaus. Kartenzahlung ist kein Problem.

Leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Man kann ganz nett in der Fußgängerzone im Freien sitzen. Die selbst hergestellten Limonaden sind wirklich gut.

Leider sehr unfreundliches Personal und auf null Bock Stimmung. Das Essen war lauwarm und in diesem Fall sollte es nicht so sein, Leider war der gesamte Besuch eine große Enttäuschung. Geschmacklich leider auch nicht gut, also wir werden nicht wieder kommen. Dazu kam noch das überall Fliegen waren und übers Essen schwirrten.

Bisher haben wir nur zum Abholen bestellt, aber das nur am Rande. Das Essen war bisher immer frisch und lecker. Man konnte, z.b. bei der Pho die separat gelieferten Einlagen in die Brühe geben und auch bei den Curries passt alles gut. Würze ginge, meines Erachtens, noch ein bischen mehr.
