Please be sure to bring back the shrimp rice bowl! Then I'll change my rating back to 5 stars. Some people (like me) like sushi and raw fish, but can't tolerate that much of it and need an alternative. The shrimp rice bowl was always the best addition to the sushi, please definitely add it back to the menu. Thanks!!!

Amazing sushi place. Probably I would keep the crown of best sushis of Berlin between them and Sasaya. Loved the super fresh fish, delicious combinations, perfectly cooked rice, beautiful ceramics and a lovely, calm and peaceful atmosphere. Extra kudos for an AC (not so common in Berlin) and for being pet friendly. Absolutely wonderful experience, can only recommend! Thanks for the great service as well.

Absolutely amazing authentic Japanese Sushi. Great quality and display. They stick to a slightly more simple menu, not offering too many different fish choices, but the quality of Salmon and Tuna, as well as the Ikka is outstanding! Definitely recommended! Actually downgraded my rating as lately my experience with the waitstaff was terribly bad. The attitude most of them have towards customers is something most guest remember once they leave this establishment and most likely never return. Food 5/5 Chef behind the counter 5/5 Waitstaff 1/5

We were very lucky to get a bar table as we hadn't booked and it was totally full... We got a view of the chef and his aid who were... Working very hard... With quite a bit of flair to their work. It really was quite fantastic. Chef made an ice cream salmon sushi for our little girl who was incredibly happy with it. I took the same whisky as the chef drank. It was excellent, as was the sushi. Definitely worth the price.

Best sashimi / sushi in Berlin, HANDS DOWN. Authentic and worth it. Trust me, I will never visit any other sushi bar except for omoni. Truly satisfy my Japanese food cravings. No European twist to it, and that’s what really checks it off for me. Friendly staffs too!

We came here as the review was great. It is really nice food but not theeee best for such a high rating. The staff is super super nice but the biggest problem and the reason why i marked it low is that we waited for sushi more than 35 minutes. And we were standing at the bar where the sushi shef was talking all the time with some girls and all the orders were just piling. I really dont have a problem that people iterate but not in this setup where we all have to wait too much.

Wow, if you are looking for some amazing and authentic sushi in Berlin, I definitely recommend this restaurant. Make sure to book your table as it can get packed and it’s so worth it! It’s a chill spot where you can enjoy some great sushi for a great price.

When its closed you simple walk past. When you dont know exactly where it is, ypu walk past. Make sure to reserve at least some days in advance! It is our go to place when visiting Friends in B. They atmosphere is unique, some staff could be make more "jallah jallah" but its fine. Food. is. GREAT! I just love the way they prepare it and even pricy dishes are worth it! maybe check how your staff behave, just friendly advice. We come again!

nice little Japanese restaurant (run by a Korean) in Berlin Mitte. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Since the boss is Korean, unfortunately there is no sake at all, which I think is a shame. Otherwise nicely decorated and delicious...

Absolutely bizarre experience very badly handled by inexperienced staff. This is not a food review as we werent served. We were visiting our friend in Berlin who reserved the table for us a week in advance. He’s been to this restaurant many times and is (was) a loyal customer. When we showed up they told us that our name is not on the list and that they dont have any table for us (most of the tables were still free as the people didnt show up for their reservations). They even asked my friend to show a call log to prove that he called. Which he did! It was an obvious mistake on the part of this restaurant’s staff, but instead of serving a customer who was already in the restaurant and arranging us a table while rescheduling someone who had a reservation later, they just behaved silly, repeating the same „we see you called but the list..” like a broken record. We finally left because it was clear they were incapable of correcting their mistake and found much better option for dinner at the end.

Kühles Ambiente. Sushiauswahl war gut, aber genauso wie die Sushimix Zusammenstellung war die Auswahl langweilig. Es fehlt Charakter.

I’ve been to this place many times over the last several years and I always really enjoy the ambience. I really miss the chirashi sushi bowl, which used to be on the menu and was taken off during corona. It’s still a very enjoyable experience, and the food is good. I can honestly say, I always look forward to going back.

Ein sehr guter Laden mit hervorragendem Sushi. Es wird alles von einem sehr versierten Sushikoch zubereitet und ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Der beste Platz im Haus ist an der Bar, dort kann man dann nämlich bei der Zubereitung zuschauen. Für mich einer der besten Sushiläden in Berlin.

Very nice, tiny restaurant, with great service and romantic atmosphere. I recommend to take the place in front of the bar and see how your food is prepared and chat with chefs. Food-wise, all very good, fresh and nicely presented, yet I didn't get this wow effect to give it all five stars. Good selection of wines. Last, but not least, reservation is absolutely a must, if you plan your visit on the weekend.

Nie wieder! So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Seit Jahren haben wir immer gern im Omoni gegessen, nun hat die Qualität nachgelassen und der Service ist unterirdisch. Obwohl bei der Reservierung nicht darauf hingewiesen, wurden wir gleich zu Beginn und immer wieder während des Essens darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass wir pünktlich nach 2 Stunden zu gehen hätten. Eine entspannte Gesprächsatmosphäre war so nicht möglich. Noch vor Ablauf der 2 Stunden stand die extrem unfreundliche Bedienung unmissverständlich mit der Abrechnung am Tisch und blieb solange stehen, bis wir bezahlt hatten. Trinkgeld gab es nicht und unsere Freunde und wir werden dieses unfreundliche Restaurant ab nun meiden. Sehr schade, wenn der Erfolg einem Restaurant zu Kopf steigt und der Gast nur noch als Goldesel betrachtet wird. Habt trotzdem alle ein schönes Weihnachtsfest

The food was great ! Fantastic sushi. However the staff decided to shut earlier and were glaring at me and my friend to leave. The closing time was advertised as 11:30pm online and we were told that they wanted to shut at 11pm. That's fine. However from 10.45pm we felt pressure from staff to leave asap. Very rude for no reason at all.

Everything is great about this place and they even have a gluten free soya sauce!!

Mittelmässiges Sushi, dafür günstig. Einrichtung ist ganz hübsch. Ok als Imbiss oder wenn man keinen Bock zum Helmholtzplatz rüberzugehen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, auch wenn wir schon ein paar Jahre hier wohnen und uns das Restaurant oft empfohlen wurde. Das war ein großes Versäumnis! Das Essen ist eine Offenbarung. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

As a person who visited Japan several times, this place is so far the best nigiri place ever in my stay in Germany(as well as Unagi don). Very fair price for the quality. 🥰 Definately coming here again!!!!! 한국인이라면 독일내 타 아시안음식점 초밥의 맛에 실망했겠지만... 여긴 정말 맛있다ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ장어덮밥도 맛있고 연어초밥을 비롯해 다른 초밥들도 회가 두툼하고 맛있었다. 10년 넘게 있었다던데 더더더 번창하시고 계속 잘돼서 확장하셨으면 좋겠음ㅜㅜㅜ너무 맛있어서 헛웃음남

Ich hoffe es bleibt noch lange ein kleiner Geheimtipp und wird nicht völlig überlaufen. Voll ist es ja jetzt auch schon, aber noch bekommt man gut einen Tisch reserviert in diesem wunderbaren Laden, mit tollem Ambiente, liebevoll gastfreundlichen Leuten und dem unglaublich frischesten Fisch. Wow… danke!

Perfecte sushi gemaakt door een ongelofelijke kok. Die volledig opgaat in zijn werk. Tegelijk ook de omgeving in zich opneemt. Een klein onopvallend restaurant maar grandioos vers en smaakvol eten! Zeer aan te raden.

Die beste Adresse für Sushi in Berlin! Eine noch nie zuvor erlebte Frische der Zutaten. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einladend und ästhetisch mit vielen Details. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Gerichte die wir hatten haben alle aus ausnahmslos überzeugt. Die Zubereitung geschieht in der offenen Küche und man kann den Meister seine Magie ausüben zusehen. Ein unaufdringliches Spektakel. Als starter die Miso Suppe: Herzlich leicht und komplex im Abgang. Sehr lecker! Als weitere Gerichte gerne mixen: Rice Bowl mit Lachs oder frittierte Shrimps. Unübertroffen schmackhaft. Und egal welches Sushi, alles: hervorragend. Ein Must Visit in Berlin für alle Sushi Liebhaber.

High quality sushi at a fair price

It looks very inconspicuous from the outside but has a very aesthetic and modern vibe from the inside. Everything is freshly made and the service is very fast and friendly. Especially the salmon did. it for us. The best we had in Berlin so far. Highly recommend!

Wenn ich Sushi essen möchte gehe ich immer zu Omoni. Frische und gute Qualität! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ein nettes Lokal. Leider lässt die Hygiene zu wünschen übrig. Der Sushi-Koch trägt seine langen Haare offen beim Zubereiten der Speisen, die Kellnerinnen streicheln und liebkosen einen Hund während der Bedienung und ohne sich danach die Hände zu waschen. Das ist in keinem Restaurant vertretbar. Wo roher Fisch angeboten wird, erst recht nicht. Schade.

Sehr leckeres Sushi, wenn nicht sogar das Beste in Berlin. Die Qualität vom Fisch ist sehr gut. Bedienung ist auch sehr freundlich und die Toilette ist sehr sauber.

Great quality sushi. Probably one of the best price/value places in Berlin. Since many years a go to place for a nice, casual night out with friends.

Mein absoluter Favorit ist der Gittibap. Eine Schale Reis mit allerlei Fisch und Salat. Immer wieder köstlich ‼️

We stayed at the bar and got enough attention and impressions. The chef cooked himself, attentive to details and gave us recommendations. The fish was fresh, the combination of flavors was excellent, the rice was of the right consistency. An excellent choice for those who’s not looking for European version of “sushi” with cheese and so on. The atmosphere was also good. Love the diy look of it, while being very well taken care of. The stuff was friendly, fast and respectful.

Good variety of fish, everything is incredibly fresh. For everything you see here, plus a bottle of wine we paid 86€, we were two people and I think the price is really fair, at the end we were extremely full though, so I think it’s very possible to spend less. Also we tried particular nigiris and some other special stuff. Service is amazing too! Everybody was extremely kind! The two nigiris after the Unagi are Ika and Suzuki

Favorite spot for sushi in Pberg. Sit at the bar if you want a great show and to see the delicious fish being prepared. Highly recommend calling for a reservation, usually fills up most nights.

Bestes Kimchijiggae was ich bis jetzt in Deutschland gegessen habe!!! Ok ich musste jetzt ein Stern abziehen. Das Essen ist gut, aber um überhaupt eine Reservierung zu bekommen ist es sehr schwer.
