Genki-Sushi in Berlin

I've been going to this restaurant exclusively for sushi for years because it's always fresh and delicious. I hope this restaurant stays with us in Charlottenburg for a long time to come!

I've often gone to the store to get food and have always been satisfied. Top price - performance ratio I paid almost twice as much at other stores but the food was never as good as at Genki Sushi. My friends agree 10/10.

Definitely the best sushi in C-Burg. I've lived in the neighborhood for 16 years and Genki Sushi is one of my favorite restaurants. Calm, clean, pleasant and the food is fantastic. Don't let the reviews about the waitress/boss drive you crazy, sometimes she just doesn't feel like smiling and sometimes she does. It's ok. In any case, she is not unfriendly. I think she's a cool person, both actually (he cooks, she serves). In any case, you should try the food. Always fresh and delicious.

A friend who knows the area recommended Genki Sushi in Charlottenburg to me and we went there for lunch yesterday. The tasteful furnishings immediately caught my eye. The special feature is that in addition to normal tables, the restaurant also offers the option of eating in small niches that are modeled on a traditional Japanese washitsu. Our service was very polite and the selection of dishes was varied - there were a number of sushi creations that I didn't know before. The food didn't take long to arrive, it looked great and smelled great from afar. The Shōji room dividers and the comfortable seat cushions gave our stay a really great and pleasantly private atmosphere, so that the really fantastic food tasted twice as good. If you want to enjoy finely seasoned sushi in an authentic atmosphere in Berlin, you have come to the right place at Genki Sushi!

The sushi is basically delicious, but unfortunately so salty that after several visits we are incredibly thirsty every night. Please use less salt and we will come back... Atmosphere to sit inside is very nice!

I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and in my opinion it is the best sushi I have ever eaten! And I have tried many sushi shops. The good reviews speak for themselves! Finally a shop that hasn't increased its prices despite the circumstances. Come on people! It's worth it 😋

I don't understand the bad reviews. I've lived in the area for 8 years and often order sushi there. It is one of the best sushi restaurants in Berlin. Always fresh, tasty, clean and friendly. Card payments are not accepted, which is stated on the signs outside and inside. I don't see a problem with that. If you order sushi to take away, the meal will be ready in a maximum of 20 minutes in the rain. I am always satisfied and would love to come back.

Unfortunately there was no meal because the gentleman and lady were so unfriendly and grim that we walked out straight away. We asked if there was room for 3 people (the store was empty). The answer was ‘back there, but shoes off’. The corners of our mouth pulled down... our greeting was not returned either. With so many great restaurants in Berlin, I will definitely never go to this one again. Too bad.

Die Erfahrung bei Sushi Genki war enttäuschend. Ein unangenehmer Geruch beim Betreten und eine äußerst unsympathische Frau, die ihre Gäste anschreit, trüben die Atmosphäre erheblich. Daher nur 1 Stern. Es lohnt sich, ein paar Meter weiter zu gehen, wo ein deutlich besserer Sushi-Laden mit freundlichem Personal und köstlichem Essen zu finden ist.(Sushi King)

Sehr nettes kleines Restaurant mit bezauberndem Ambiente. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist erste Sahne. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Vor allem eine Kanne Tee welche ich zu jedem Gabg dort hin bestelle.

Das schönste kleine Sushi Restaurant! Das Essen ist köstlich! Jede Rolle ist ein Hochgenuss. Während der Schwangerschaft kam ich auch in den Genuss der vegetarischen Rollen und die waren ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft. Es herrscht eine ruhige und angenehme Atmosphäre in diesem Restaurant. Das Licht, die entspannende Musik und die ruhige Ausstrahlung der Familie erinnert bereits an einen spa Besuch. Wenn man dazu noch einen aromatischen Jasmin Tee trinkt und sein Sushi in netter Gesellschaft genießt verliert man wirklich das Gefühl von Zeit. Ein wunderbarer Ort den ich bereits seit über 10 Jahren besuche

Das beste Sushi, das ich in meinem Leben gekostet habe. Die Sushistücke waren sehr exquisit und elegant serviert. Das Personal ist mega freundlich. Sehr ruhige Ambiente. Kann's nur weiterempfehlen.

Ich komme seit Jahren zu Genki Sushi, weil ich nirgends besseres Sushi bekomme. Ich esse keinen Fisch, weshalb ich die vegetarischen Sushis bestelle. Die Mais Mayo Makis und die frittierten Rollen sind göttlich 🥰 Besonders erwähnenswert ist auch das Limettengetränk. Könnte ich literweise trinken 😅 Ich liebe auch die japanische Kabine, in der man ganz ungestört sitzt und die Türen zuziehen kann. Immer wieder etwas ganz Besonderes! Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Immer, wenn ich in Berlin bin, muss ich dort unbedingt essen gehen. Für mich einer der besten Sushi-Restaurants in Berlin! Riesige Karte mit guten Preisen, Top Qualität! Die Knusperrollen (frittiert) sind auch mega lecker. Schade, dass die nicht liefern lassen.. Werde aber trotzdem immer wieder kommen!

Die Kellnerin ist der Oberkracher. Total unfreundlich und unmotiviert. Keine freundliche Begrüßung oder ein Lächeln. Fragt sehr spät ob man was bestellen möchte und wirft die Teller dann regelrecht auf den Tisch. Sparen an Personal, dadurch dauert es extrem lange bis man sein essen bekommt. Zum bezahlen ist die Kellnerin auch nicht gekommen. Ich musste aufstehen und selber an der Kasse bezahlen. Das Positive ist das es gut schmeckt.

Ganz schwierig...extrem unfreundlicher Service. ich war dort 3mal , da die Sushi Qualität gut ist. Aber die Bedienung/Inhaber sind so extrem unfreundlich. So etwas hab ich noch nie erlebt. Die ersten Male war ich alleine dort essen und wurde nicht gut behandelt bzw. wie ein Eindringling behandelt. Das letzte Mal toppte alles...ich war dort mit meiner Freundin und als wir nach dem Essen noch bisschen gequatscht haben, wurde wir vom Besitzer rausgeschmissen! RAUSGESCHMISSEN! Obwohl wir ausgiebig gegessen hatten. Das ist mir noch nie vorher passiert. Ich betrete diesen Laden nie wieder. Ganz ganz schlimm...

Zwar komplett andere Stadtseite für mich, aber es schmeckt absolut lecker, man wird unheimlich freundlich empfangen und darf den Gaumenschmaus in vollen Zügen genießen. Zudem finde ich die Preise total in Ordnung, für diese Qualität 👍🏻 Frischer, leckerer Fisch in angenehmen Ambiente ❤️

Ich war erst einmal bei Genki Sushi, aber sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Kleiner und sehr gemütlicher Laden, der nach meiner Beobachtungen eigentlich fast immer sehr gut besucht ist. Service war sehr freundlich und ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich das letzte Mal so leckeres Sushi gegessen habe. Wir kommen ganz bald wieder!

Essen ist super. Preis ist auch gut. 👍 Was ich nicht gut finde das für ein Klecks Mayonnaise 80 Cents extra verlangt werden.

Eine der besten Sushi-Orte in Berlin, die Atmosphäre, das Essen: wundervoll! Der Fisch is so frisch, dass auch diejenigen die Fish nicht mögen es lieben werden! Man muss hier einfach kommen!

Sehr lecker und ziemlich preiswert

Richtig gutes Essen. Zurückhaltende und freundliche Eigentümer. Den Laden gibt es schon sehr, sehr, sehr lange. Die Suppen sind OK, habe schon bessere geschlürft. ;-) Dafür sind die Nigiri wirklich gut. Ich wohne schräg gegenüber und hole mir regelmäßig was zum mitnehmen. In jedem Falle kann ich Genki Sushi empfehlen.

Ordered a varied selection of rolls, and enjoyed all of them. Deep fried rolls were a novelty for me, but I was able to enjoy them for what they were (which is non-traditional).

Comimos excelente, y el postre que tomamos es muy rico son una especie de sorrentinos dulces y su masa es de te verde. Muy diferente para lo que es nuestro gusto (Argentino) pero muy rico, vale la pena probar algo diferente. Comimos en los lugares especiales bien Japoneses, hermosa experiencia

Well-prepared, (seemingly) fresh & tasty sushi at moderate prices. There are plenty of set menus that mostly include 'Japanese' tea & a full accoutrement, if plain, miso soup. My issue was with the poor service: Noone welcomed my entrance, the server was more concerned with socializing with the only other guests than pay me attention, after the food was delicately served, I no longer heard from any staff...not a query as to how I'm enjoying the food nor did anyone present me the bill as the only customer had to do it himself. More of a 3.5 really, but rounded-down for I left in a worse mood than I entered, not a positive.

Kleines, unkompliziertes Sushi-Lokal mit guter Qualität. Unbedingt anrufen und einen Tisch reservieren. Sehr cool (aber manchmal nicht verfügbar) sind die zwei (!) japanischen Tische bei denen man ohne Schuhe auf Kissen sitzt. Für mich als Dessert-Liebhaber gibt es lediglich einen Nachteil, nämlich die sehr kleine Auswahl an Nachspeisen (3 unterschiedliche), die auch nicht ganz meinen Geschmack treffen.
