Mido Restaurant Kreuzberg in Berlin

I’ve visited this restaurant chain several times, and I’ve always been satisfied. The food is consistently delicious, service is quick, and the staff make sure you have everything you need. I even celebrated my birthday there. One of the waiters noticed and surprised me with a candle and a lovely little dessert, which was a really sweet gesture. I always leave this place with a very pleasant feeling. They also make very tasty breaded mini rolls (Panierte Mini Rolls) I highly recommend them

Based on the good reviews, we reserved a table for three on a Saturday at 6:30 pm. We received a very friendly welcome and were allowed to choose our own table. While the restaurant was a bit cramped, the atmosphere was still pleasant. The menu is extensive and well-organized. We opted for the spring rolls, wonton soup, sushi, mochi ice cream, and black rice paste. We have absolutely nothing negative to report. From the service to the taste to the quality, everything was perfect!

Very good and reasonably priced food, however it's sometimes too noisy and there are problems with card payments outside. Still recommended!

I like to go there around lunchtime or early afternoon because it's not so crowded then and they have a good lunch menu. On weekends, especially Saturday evenings, it's too loud and crowded for me.

Here you get pleasant service and good food for the price you pay, just as it should be.

Absolute misplanning on February 14. Despite having a reservation, there were at least 50 people (who apparently had reservations as well) ahead of us and were standing in line - how can that be? After waiting for 20 minutes without moving an inch, we decided to go somewhere else :(

Although it wasn't very crowded, it was very loud. The tables were too close together. My companion hadn't yet decided what to eat. I mentioned that they needed a little more time after I ordered. While she was bringing the drinks, she brought my soup and then my main course relatively quickly. The late order arrived 20 minutes later... it was a shame that everything didn't arrive at the same time. The option to eat everything cold or not at the same time was missing. The restrooms are not easily accessible, with steep stairs.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a very long time for the food, but it was delicious.

The food is expensive and of average quality! The meat was dry and tasteless. €20 per person for that. The chia pudding/sticky rice was tasteless! It's a complete assembly line. It's loud, cramped, and crowded. We reserved a table and were asked to vacate it after only 1.5 hours, even though we still wanted to order drinks. The four of us paid €180. They don't care about customer satisfaction, they're only interested in making a quick buck!

Exceptionally good service in one of only two (!!) restaurants in Berlin. It leaves nothing to be desired. A perfect spot whether for dates, company parties, or birthdays. The short delivery times to the table are particularly noteworthy.

Everyone was simply wonderful; it was my mother's birthday and they were congratulating her.

We had booked a table for 6 pm and were given a table by the window. When we wanted to order, we were asked to move again, which I found very rude. It was very crowded at that time and very, very loud. The tables were too high for the chairs. The food took a while to arrive and didn't taste as good as the Mido at Adenauerplatz. We ordered a beef dish and the sushi platter for €40. Half of it was with salmon and the other half with crab and tuna. I think we'll probably just go to the Mido at Adenauerplatz; the service there is much nicer and more considerate, even when it's busy.

I went here with my friends to celebrate birthday. This is an awesome place for it, the atmosphere is great and staff is very friendly. They even brought desert for the birthday girl without us asking. Awesome place with delicious food!! Well came back.

We celebrated a birthday and had made a reservation. Everything was delicious and the staff were super friendly, only the wait was a bit long, even though it wasn't that busy. Without having ordered it, they sang "Happy Birthday" to my friend and brought her a dessert.

We found the sushi to be rather standard and overpriced for what it was. Some of the rolls were unusually thin. While serving other tables, someone unknowingly spilled sauce on our jacket. We were able to wash it off, but it's a clear indication that the seating in the restaurant is far too cramped. We personally won't be returning.

Large, nicely furnished restaurant. Unfortunately, the chairs are worn out and could use an upgrade. I was there for lunch. Very friendly staff, and the food arrived super fast. Good value for money for lunch. A bit too many filling side dishes in the meal.

The children's portions were definitely too small for the price. The nuggets with fries were extremely meager, especially the fries. When I asked if it was possible to get more fries, they asked if I wanted to order another portion with nuggets. Otherwise, a very good restaurant.

A very large restaurant with a lovely Asian ambiance. The waiters quickly brought us the menus. For our meal, we ordered a sushi platter for four. It was served with a great show, including smoke created with dry ice, which was visually very impressive. Personally, I found the sushi variations very good – especially the fried sushi and the sashimi. There was also hardly anything to criticize about the maki and the California rolls. Despite the delicious food, the portion for four people was, in my opinion, too small. It would have easily fed two or three people. What I would recommend instead is a set menu for one – you get more, and it's also a bit cheaper. Still, it's worth a visit!

The restaurant is really beautifully decorated and offers plenty of space. We love going to Mido because you can just drop in and don't need a reservation – which isn't always the case in Berlin. The sushi is delicious, but so are the pho soups, sashimi, udon noodles, and more. I can also highly recommend the homemade iced teas. For dog owners: your four-legged friend is welcome too. Love it! ♥️
