Mido Restaurant Kreuzberg in Berlin

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with great music that made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, with beautiful presentation and rich flavors that truly impressed me. The staff was friendly and attentive. They even surprised me with a birthday greeting! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience.

Great food, like in the other branches. Great sushi, great curry. The service is good. We had seats near the entrance, the door was permanently open, so you were practically sitting inside when it was outside. That would be the only point of criticism.

Were there for the umpteenth time. Food and service great. Reservation by email unfortunately without response and therefore necessary again by phone. But even though the store was packed, it wasn't checked. The many people waiting in the entrance area, some of whom were standing right next to tables, as well as the draft caused by the constant opening of the doors were very annoying.

The sushi is really fresh and delicious. We were having a celebration so we picked the menu 12 with chef’s choice and they prepared a really nice platter. We were just a bit bummed out about not having enough salmon sashimi (we ordered for 4 and there were 3 pieces). They did have a big variety of choice though. We were told later on that if we have some preferences, we can tell them when we order (like if we want more salmon etc.) which makes sense :) We had some of the handmade drinks: one with white tea, one with passion fruit and the one with lychee. I liked the white tea drink the most because it was more refreshing but still a bit too sweet for me. Overall, i would say it was a good experience :)

I would like to express my enthusiasm for the Mido restaurant in Kreuzberg. Whenever I feel like exquisite sushi, Mido is my go-to place. The service, the competent advice and the always friendly staff ensure that you immediately feel at home. Particularly noteworthy are the starters, which are freshly and creatively prepared every time, as well as the sushi platter, which is simply sensational and impresses both visually and in terms of taste. The harmonious interplay of excellent service and outstanding cuisine makes every visit a special experience. I always look forward to dining in this atmosphere and can fully recommend Mido to any sushi lover.

Mega surprise. Just went in by chance and luck. The reception was great. Polite and nice service. There was even gluten-free soy sauce. The food is delicious and served beautifully prepared. So the eye eats with you and has fun too. Highly recommended

The food is nice, the atmosphere is great but I had to wait a lot to enter even if i had a reservation. None from pays attention to the eaiting line outside. Some people just passes the line and go to the top of the line, and workers just show them the table. We also had to wait almost 1 hours to get our orders after we sit.

The food itself is really very tasty. I have been to the restaurant several times and have also celebrated my birthdays there over the years. Last week it was that time again and I went there with my friends. At the very beginning we were told that we could only stay in the restaurant for an hour and a half, which was a disgrace. We were served the wrong food and the waiters were very rude, that was the last time I visited this restaurant.

Everything tastes very tasty, you're welcome. There is only one waiter who is incredibly annoying with his would-be Turkish comments.

The Suhsi is very tasty and comparatively very cheap. Good value for money. However, despite having a reservation, we had to wait almost 25 minutes for a table and the situation at the entrance was very chaotic (Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m.). It's very crowded and there's a lot of hustle and bustle.

No recommendation! We made reservations weeks in advance for my friend's birthday, and we still had to wait an hour for our table! We stood around stupidly and were constantly brushed off with an annoyed “same, same”. Absolutely outrageous! When we finally got a table, it was dirty and was only cleaned after we asked. We had to wait over an hour for our food again, and even the drinks were only served to us after half an hour. The food was okay, but honestly it wasn't worth it at all. The lousy service, the long wait and the complete disrespect completely ruined our evening and completely spoiled my friend's birthday, which we actually wanted to celebrate. Thanks for nothing! Absolutely never again!

Loud and crowded atmosphere, queuing for over an hour even though you had a reservation and were there much earlier to make the reservation. + Waited over 1 hour for the food. I think everything has been said here. Oh and the food is solid... it's better to spend the money and time in a restaurant that deserves it. No recommendation!

I celebrated my birthday here with 10 people, we got a slightly separate room. The service is quick and very friendly and open. The food came quickly and everyone enjoyed it. Price-performance ratio is really great here. Thanks to the team for the great evening, we had a lot of fun❤️

I myself am a real sushi lover and have been to numerous sushi restaurants in Berlin and I have to say that I was not disappointed here at Mido Kreuzberg. The sushi was really of very good quality and tasted very tasty. The fish was fresh, the nori was nicely aromatic and not too tough, and the rice had the ideal consistency and aroma. I also really liked the supposed “supporting actor” ginger, which I personally attach great importance to when it comes to (fish) sushi, as it was not, as is often the case (unfortunately), very fibrous, small and crushed, but had nice, juicy pieces and that was the perfect accompaniment to the sushi. In addition to wonderful sushi, we were looked after by delicious drinks and attentive staff and had a really nice dinner. Thank you for a delicious sushi evening at Mido Kreuzberg!

It was a DREAM 🥰 the location is beautiful, the arrangement on the plates looks too beautiful to eat, the staff is super friendly even though the shop is packed and the prices are really reasonable. We just ate there and had to give a good review straight away, we were blown away! Absolute recommendation

Reserved a table for two people on Friday (February 14th) at 7:30 p.m. Got there on time, but there were at least 20 people in line, many of whom also had reservations. Then we should get in line at the back. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful.

We had a reservation at 7:10 p.m. and had to wait 20 minutes. Very, very disorganized. I have to say, I'd rather eat there in Kudamm.

We wanted to celebrate a friend's birthday today and it was a complete disaster! We had to wait an hour outside in the cold, even though reservations were made. When we were asked to come after us because it was the friend's birthday, we always just said “just a moment” and then that was an hour! Tables dirty, food comes 1 1/2 hours later and then dessert comes first! Huh??? Just mass production to make money, the customer doesn't matter! We will advise everyone away from this store. You screwed up!

When making a reservation you have to wait a maximum of 10 minutes, but in the end it was an hour. The table wasn't even cleaned beforehand. Eating took over an hour, that's not possible!!!! It was my girlfriend's birthday that day and the repeated requests to please come to our table were not taken seriously. Then the waitress puts it in a bad mood because there was no tip from anyone. Tip for WHAT???

I had reserved for today (February 14th and also my birthday) weeks in advance. We had to wait outside for an hour with other people who had also made reservations. Why do you accept so many reservations when you clearly don't have capacity? So after an hour of waiting we finally got a table that wasn't even cleaned beforehand. Afterwards we waited over an hour for our food and it was even brought to us in no time at all. First dessert, then the main menu. It's an absolute disgrace to make your customers wait so long. I emphasized several times that I had reserved and it was my birthday, but you didn't care. When I made a reservation, I was told I would have to wait a maximum of 10 minutes for a table. Well… 2 hours had passed by the time we had our food. Absolutely inexcusable. I'll never come back and I'll advise everyone against it. You ruined my birthday. Shame on you!

Had reservations for the weekend. The restaurant is fully occupied and there are more than 30 people waiting outside, some of whom made reservations at the same time. Not particularly well organized. Then we went somewhere else. But you've been there before. Food is delicious.

I was at Mido yesterday and absolutely loved it! The quality of the sushi was outstanding – fresh fish, perfectly seasoned rice and a beautiful presentation. I particularly liked the special rolls, which were creatively put together. The service was also great: friendly, attentive and quick. The ambience is modern and cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right, and I'll definitely be back! Clear recommendation for all sushi lovers! 🍣

Here you can get good sushi in a great atmosphere and good service. A visit here is definitely worth it. What you need to know, however, is that you will be kindly thrown out after a maximum of 2 hours. Today we were in the restaurant with 7 people and after 2 hours we got the bill. We would have liked to have another cocktail, but then not. :-( So a Netzer evening came to a quick end.

Part of the order was missing, which we unfortunately only noticed when we got home, but you can't check all the sushi boxes in the restaurant. Lettuce in the mango salad was old and limp, the same with the side dish for the spring rolls. It has been wilting in the plastic box for a day.

On Tuesday I had a reservation for a birthday and it was perfect. The food was super tasty. The appetizers were large and the service was super friendly. I can only recommend the restaurant. Unfortunately it's a little further away from me. But I will come back and my girlfriend liked it there too. Afterwards we were super full. AWESOME AND SIMPLY PERFECT!!!

Best Mido in Berlin. Better than the one at Ku'damm. My birthday was wonderful because I was surprised with music and candles, even the waiter sang along. So incredibly kind and loving. You feel very comfortable and always feel full with the delicious food!

I am very disappointed with the dish I ordered. It didn't taste good at all. It's a real shame that the quality of the Filiae has deteriorated so much. The employees are still very friendly and the atmosphere is still appealing, but the last few visits have unfortunately been disappointing overall.

We became aware of this restaurant by chance and tried it straight away and were absolutely positively surprised. 👍🏼 Cool location with sensational food 🍣 The service was quick and friendly despite the large number of guests. The food impressed with its extremely short waiting time and first-class quality combined with absolutely fair prices. The restaurant is easy to reach by car or on foot. . You just have to eat here. The food was delicious. However, the sushi rolls were unfortunately significantly narrower than usual for a relatively high price. The service was fine. Our order wasn't taken for a long time and towards the end we had the feeling that we should leave the restaurant relatively promptly.

Mido Kreuzberg is completely different from Prenzlauer Berg (as far as the ambience is concerned). As in Prenzlauer Berg, the sushi is unbeatable and delicious. It was beautifully presented and was also prepared quickly. The atmosphere is very futuristic and the service staff is always approachable and helpful. Despite the late time (8 p.m.) on a Friday, we were able to get a table for three people even without a reservation. Always happy again <3

Never been so disappointed. I've been going to this shop for three years and still ask every time if my dish is vegan. It was always confirmed to me that the dish was vegan. Surprise: It wasn't vegan! On the last visit there was finally a waiter who knew that the dish was not vegan. I ask myself why as a waiter you don't know what's in the dishes. And if you don't know, why don't you ask? The waiter who was the least responsible apologized to me. Unfortunately that doesn't do much for me. I've still eaten something non-vegan for 3 years now! I'm just traumatized by this experience! And that was definitely not a misunderstanding! I asked every time - EVERY TIME!! I find it really cheeky to claim that this must be a misunderstanding and to claim that it was never stated that there were vegan dishes. Why then, even in a recession, does it say something about the dish “Be vegan”.

We went to Mido often because we live nearby. The food is quite good, value for money is ok and the service is quick, these are positive factors. However, the music is now so loud (no matter what time of day) that you can hardly hold a conversation anymore. Conversing with just two people is difficult, and at a larger table it is almost impossible. We won't be coming back.

The food was really good, nothing to complain about. However, I have to strongly criticize the service and the way the employees treat customers. We had made a reservation for 15 people for a special occasion. After just an hour we were asked to change our seat because a birthday group was taking it up. Even though it was unpleasant, we accepted it. What was completely unacceptable, however, was that as soon as we had finished our meal, the bill was brought to us without asking, without the opportunity to calmly think about whether we might want to order dessert. It clearly seemed like they wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. Then we all pay and suddenly there is still an open invoice, even though everyone paid, we still had to check the open invoice, which may have been accidentally double-clicked on by an employee. This behavior is disrespectful and unprofessional. Of our group, 14 people feel absolutely dissatisfied and unappreciated. Under these circumstances we will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

The food is very tasty and the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely more pleasant for us than at Adenauerplatz. The service is also very friendly. Every now and then one or two waiters are a bit pushy to get you to order. But otherwise for the price and everything else you can't fault it.

We found the sushi to be rather standard and too expensive. Some of the roles were unusually narrow. When serving other tables, sauce was unnoticed and dripped onto our jacket. We were able to easily wash these out, but it was a sign that the seating in the restaurant was far too narrow. What was particularly annoying was that Happy Birthday was played every 5 minutes for someone. It really doesn't have to be 4x in 40 minutes. We personally won't be coming back.

Service was ok, you just had to wait a long time to order drinks. The food was actually very good but somehow something was missing. When it came to the baked vanilla ice cream, I didn't think the breading around the ice cream turned out well; I've had better implementations.

Very good (German) sushi restaurant! The ambience in the restaurant is typically Mido-style (see Ku’damm). This makes it look very modern. The restaurant is huge. There's a lot of staff (hence rotating waiters) and the speed of the kitchen is impressive. It took us exactly an hour from the time we entered the restaurant (including paying for starters and main courses) to the time we left the restaurant. Unfortunately, the Yakitori skewers were a bit dry and the Bun Bo Nam Bo was boring - I was hoping for more. The sushi, on the other hand, was really tasty and well prepared. We'll be back for the sushi!

I have eaten in your restaurant many times and have always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, I noticed a significant deterioration on my last two visits. The sushi rice was extremely mushy and the consistency made the food almost inedible. When I asked, I was told that you are currently testing new varieties of rice. I understand that improvements and testing are necessary, but I find it inappropriate to do these at the expense of guests. In my opinion, such tests should be done internally before the dishes are served to guests. I hope that this changes in the future so that I can enjoy eating with you again.

Very tasty and fresh sushi with cool presentation. Ambience also very nice. The special rolls with avocado and salmon coating are awesome. Highly priced, but the quality is very good. For a meal for two people including starters and drinks you should expect to pay at least 100 EUR.
