Once again at Mido in Kreuzberg—as always, a culinary delight. Simply delicious!

My friend asked for a glass of tap water at dinner. It was added to the bill for €3! Is this even legal?

You definitely have to go here at least once. The best sushi in all of Berlin.

I recently visited Mido in Berlin with my son, and we both really enjoyed it. The sushi was fresh and tasty — you can tell the chefs put a lot of care into their work. The place was quite busy and lively, which added a fun energy to the evening. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome despite the hustle and bustle. If you’re looking for great sushi in a vibrant spot, I’d definitely recommend Mido!

Two weeks ago, I ordered vegetarian sushi to go. Unfortunately, I developed persistent stomach problems afterward. Probably food poisoning.

We stumbled across this restaurant by chance and decided to try it out right away. We were absolutely pleasantly surprised. 👍🏼 Cool location with sensational food 🍣 The service was quick and friendly despite the large number of guests. The food was impressive due to its extremely short wait times and first-class quality, combined with absolutely fair prices. The restaurant is easily accessible by car and on foot. You simply have to eat here. Thank you for this experience👍🏼

we just had dinner here with our youngest son. we usualy stop by for lunch. we really like the food and location. the stuff is kind and welcoming. only strange bit though, smokers are actually allowed to smoke on the terrace, ghats okay outside and all bit once the big windows are open, because temperatures allow it they are no longer smoking on the terrace bit insode the restaurant. smoking in restaurants must be forbidden. italy is ahead of us here!

I was with Mido today and was looked after by Linh. Linh was a very, very nice guy – super friendly, attentive and respectful. You could tell straight away that he takes his job seriously and puts his heart into it. He was also very humorous and created a really good atmosphere. He also did a really good job of advertising the store. Overall, a really great experience – thanks Linh!

The sushi is simply amazing! Good service, very cozy and well decorated. Highly recommended! My companion had baked chicken with rice (without vegetables😁) and peanut sauce. So it can also be customized for picky eaters.

We ordered delivery and the taste was ok, but the appearance was pretty bad. The sushi was not up to standard, it seemed like it hadn't been made with much care... I looked at the photos here and they look really good, it would be interesting to pay some attention to how the delivery dishes are being sent... we could think that it was during transportation, but clearly the problem isn't with transportation.

Gladly again and again. Sushi and other dishes are always good. The service is always very laggy at first, but then you have to be a little late to pay. In the evening it tends to get very crowded and louder, so make a reservation. Great restaurant to go to a concert in the Columbia Hall afterwards, drinks like Aperol are comparatively very fair in price.

Service was a lot and sometimes a bit stressful. Every few minutes someone new came and asked us if we were ready. We had said several times that we needed more and felt like we were being put under so much pressure. The music is bad and way too loud. A bit like being in a club with chart hits. The biggest annoyance is that tap water costs €3 - I find that outrageous and restaurants immediately fall in my reputation.

We went there based on a recommendation. Asian food isn't my favorite, but the others seem to have enjoyed it. The ambience is ok. I just want to say a word to the wait staff. If someone happens to get lost at their table, they are nice and quick. But no one, no one, took care of us, we had to conspicuously wave "someones" over to us several times. Once I got up and asked a waitress if she could come and take our order. So the bottom line is, you can sit here for hours without having to order anything.

Bad service costumer service is clearly not a priority here. The staff was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant before. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Very trashy service. The host looked passed me at the entrance and walked away, I had to go in and talk to someone else. I waited for 20 minutes with no service waiting for a table. A bunch of girls walked in and they were given the table I was told to wait for. This honestly felt like a race thing. I didn’t get such poor service the last time I went with my German friend

Beautiful decor, incredibly loud and cramped, service very hasty and distant. My crispy duck wasn't crispy at all, it tasted like it was in a normal snack bar, but it was too expensive for that.

Actually very good but the staff… Yesterday we ate at Mido for the third time and found it very tasty, but when we asked the staff about 5 times for Siracha sauce we still didn't get it. Great in terms of food, bad in terms of service. Let's see if we'll even go a fourth time. 🙈

We were welcomed directly by the cheerful staff on Wednesday evening. The rooms are really nicely furnished, you feel comfortable and the music is at a pleasant volume. We ordered and the starters didn't take long to arrive. (The kimchi was a little too lightly seasoned for me, but that's just my personal preference.) And the main course arrived pretty quickly. Everything was very fresh and incredibly tasty and beautifully presented! The staff checked regularly but not too intrusively that we had everything and that everything was OK. I will definitely eat there again.

Were there for the umpteenth time. Food and service great. Reservation by email unfortunately without response and therefore necessary again by phone. But even though the store was packed, it wasn't checked. The many people waiting in the entrance area, some of whom were standing right next to tables, as well as the draft caused by the constant opening of the doors were very annoying.

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with great music that made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, with beautiful presentation and rich flavors that truly impressed me. The staff was friendly and attentive. They even surprised me with a birthday greeting! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience.

Great food, like in the other branches. Great sushi, great curry. The service is good. We had seats near the entrance, the door was permanently open, so you were practically sitting inside when it was outside. That would be the only point of criticism.

The sushi is really fresh and delicious. We were having a celebration so we picked the menu 12 with chef’s choice and they prepared a really nice platter. We were just a bit bummed out about not having enough salmon sashimi (we ordered for 4 and there were 3 pieces). They did have a big variety of choice though. We were told later on that if we have some preferences, we can tell them when we order (like if we want more salmon etc.) which makes sense :) We had some of the handmade drinks: one with white tea, one with passion fruit and the one with lychee. I liked the white tea drink the most because it was more refreshing but still a bit too sweet for me. Overall, i would say it was a good experience :)

I would like to express my enthusiasm for the Mido restaurant in Kreuzberg. Whenever I feel like exquisite sushi, Mido is my go-to place. The service, the competent advice and the always friendly staff ensure that you immediately feel at home. Particularly noteworthy are the starters, which are freshly and creatively prepared every time, as well as the sushi platter, which is simply sensational and impresses both visually and in terms of taste. The harmonious interplay of excellent service and outstanding cuisine makes every visit a special experience. I always look forward to dining in this atmosphere and can fully recommend Mido to any sushi lover.

Mega surprise. Just went in by chance and luck. The reception was great. Polite and nice service. There was even gluten-free soy sauce. The food is delicious and served beautifully prepared. So the eye eats with you and has fun too. Highly recommended

Down-to-earth Asian restaurant business, my experience was without highlights

The food is nice, the atmosphere is great but I had to wait a lot to enter even if i had a reservation. None from pays attention to the eaiting line outside. Some people just passes the line and go to the top of the line, and workers just show them the table. We also had to wait almost 1 hours to get our orders after we sit.

The food itself is really very tasty. I have been to the restaurant several times and have also celebrated my birthdays there over the years. Last week it was that time again and I went there with my friends. At the very beginning we were told that we could only stay in the restaurant for an hour and a half, which was a disgrace. We were served the wrong food and the waiters were very rude, that was the last time I visited this restaurant.

Everything tastes very tasty, you're welcome. There is only one waiter who is incredibly annoying with his would-be Turkish comments.

The Suhsi is very tasty and comparatively very cheap. Good value for money. However, despite having a reservation, we had to wait almost 25 minutes for a table and the situation at the entrance was very chaotic (Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m.). It's very crowded and there's a lot of hustle and bustle.

Loud and crowded atmosphere, queuing for over an hour even though you had a reservation and were there much earlier to make the reservation. + Waited over 1 hour for the food. I think everything has been said here. Oh and the food is solid... it's better to spend the money and time in a restaurant that deserves it. No recommendation!

No recommendation! We made reservations weeks in advance for my friend's birthday, and we still had to wait an hour for our table! We stood around stupidly and were constantly brushed off with an annoyed “same, same”. Absolutely outrageous! When we finally got a table, it was dirty and was only cleaned after we asked. We had to wait over an hour for our food again, and even the drinks were only served to us after half an hour. The food was okay, but honestly it wasn't worth it at all. The lousy service, the long wait and the complete disrespect completely ruined our evening and completely spoiled my friend's birthday, which we actually wanted to celebrate. Thanks for nothing! Absolutely never again!

I celebrated my birthday here with 10 people, we got a slightly separate room. The service is quick and very friendly and open. The food came quickly and everyone enjoyed it. Price-performance ratio is really great here. Thanks to the team for the great evening, we had a lot of fun❤️

I myself am a real sushi lover and have been to numerous sushi restaurants in Berlin and I have to say that I was not disappointed here at Mido Kreuzberg. The sushi was really of very good quality and tasted very tasty. The fish was fresh, the nori was nicely aromatic and not too tough, and the rice had the ideal consistency and aroma. I also really liked the supposed “supporting actor” ginger, which I personally attach great importance to when it comes to (fish) sushi, as it was not, as is often the case (unfortunately), very fibrous, small and crushed, but had nice, juicy pieces and that was the perfect accompaniment to the sushi. In addition to wonderful sushi, we were looked after by delicious drinks and attentive staff and had a really nice dinner. Thank you for a delicious sushi evening at Mido Kreuzberg!

It was a DREAM 🥰 the location is beautiful, the arrangement on the plates looks too beautiful to eat, the staff is super friendly even though the shop is packed and the prices are really reasonable. We just ate there and had to give a good review straight away, we were blown away! Absolute recommendation

Reserved a table for two people on Friday (February 14th) at 7:30 p.m. Got there on time, but there were at least 20 people in line, many of whom also had reservations. Then we should get in line at the back. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful.

We wanted to celebrate a friend's birthday today and it was a complete disaster! We had to wait an hour outside in the cold, even though reservations were made. When we were asked to come after us because it was the friend's birthday, we always just said “just a moment” and then that was an hour! Tables dirty, food comes 1 1/2 hours later and then dessert comes first! Huh??? Just mass production to make money, the customer doesn't matter! We will advise everyone away from this store. You screwed up!

When making a reservation you have to wait a maximum of 10 minutes, but in the end it was an hour. The table wasn't even cleaned beforehand. Eating took over an hour, that's not possible!!!! It was my girlfriend's birthday that day and the repeated requests to please come to our table were not taken seriously. Then the waitress puts it in a bad mood because there was no tip from anyone. Tip for WHAT???

Why do you accept so many reservations when you clearly don't have capacity? So after an hour of waiting we finally got a table that wasn't even cleaned beforehand. Afterwards we waited over an hour for our food and it was even brought to us in no time at all. First dessert, then the main menu. It's an absolute disgrace to make your customers wait so long. I emphasized several times that I had reserved and it was my birthday, but you didn't care. When I made a reservation, I was told I would have to wait a maximum of 10 minutes for a table. Well… 2 hours had passed by the time we had our food. Absolutely inexcusable. I'll never come back and I'll advise everyone against it. You ruined my birthday. Shame on you!

Had reservations for the weekend. The restaurant is fully occupied and there are more than 30 people waiting outside, some of whom made reservations at the same time. Not particularly well organized. Then we went somewhere else. But you've been there before. Food is delicious.

Here you can get good sushi in a great atmosphere and good service. A visit here is definitely worth it. What you need to know, however, is that you will be kindly thrown out after a maximum of 2 hours. Today we were in the restaurant with 7 people and after 2 hours we got the bill. We would have liked to have another cocktail, but then not. :-( So a Netzer evening came to a quick end.

Part of the order was missing, which we unfortunately only noticed when we got home, but you can't check all the sushi boxes in the restaurant. Lettuce in the mango salad was old and limp, the same with the side dish for the spring rolls. It has been wilting in the plastic box for a day.

On Tuesday I had a reservation for a birthday and it was perfect. The food was super tasty. The appetizers were large and the service was super friendly. I can only recommend the restaurant. Unfortunately it's a little further away from me. But I will come back and my girlfriend liked it there too. Afterwards we were super full. AWESOME AND SIMPLY PERFECT!!!

I am very disappointed with the dish I ordered. It didn't taste good at all. It's a real shame that the quality of the Filiae has deteriorated so much. The employees are still very friendly and the atmosphere is still appealing, but the last few visits have unfortunately been disappointing overall.

Best Mido in Berlin. Better than the one at Ku'damm. My birthday was wonderful because I was surprised with music and candles, even the waiter sang along. So incredibly kind and loving. You feel very comfortable and always feel full with the delicious food!

The food was delicious. However, the sushi rolls were unfortunately significantly narrower than usual for a relatively high price. The service was fine. Our order wasn't taken for a long time and towards the end we had the feeling that we should leave the restaurant relatively promptly.

Mido Kreuzberg is completely different from Prenzlauer Berg (as far as the ambience is concerned). As in Prenzlauer Berg, the sushi is unbeatable and delicious. It was beautifully presented and was also prepared quickly. The atmosphere is very futuristic and the service staff is always approachable and helpful. Despite the late time (8 p.m.) on a Friday, we were able to get a table for three people even without a reservation. Always happy again <3
