We had a delicious meal here at good prices. The decor is charming, you feel welcome, and the service is friendly. The portions are generous. The salad bar wasn't really to my liking, but that's a matter of personal preference. We'll definitely be back.

I always find it very good, and everyone I've taken there has thought it was great too.

We were just looking for a quick, spontaneous meal and then stumbled upon this charming restaurant. All the little details at "Liesele" are simply delightful; I couldn't get enough of the decor. 🩷 We were there with our toddler, who was given a children's menu with coloring pages and crayons. The food is a bit pricey, but it was delicious. Our daughter ate all her potato pancakes, even though she's usually quite picky. All in all, we felt very comfortable and it certainly won't be our last visit.

It was a very delicious meal; we had melted Maultaschen (swabian ravioli) and Pischelsteinertopf (pot with fried potatoes). Everything was excellent, friendly service, and a lovely shop.

The food was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. The stews were great, just like mom's. We had our large dog with us, and it wasn't a problem.

Nice restaurant with very good food. However, the time management is a bit unfortunate. I had just started the soup when the main course arrived. I could/should have gotten a salad as well. There were two of us, and my companion got her food 15 minutes later. It's a shame.

Nice place, but the food and service overall were a bit lackluster. Huge portions, designed to be very filling. A little less on the plate and a bit more refinement would have been nice. The fried potatoes were quite burnt and practically unseasoned. The potato salad, which comes with every dish, was quite mushy and lacking in flavor. The roast beef with onions was delicious, very tender, cooked to perfection. Solid, but not inspiring.

Really good German food and really tender, fresh pork schnitzel. The spaetzle is simply fantastic, and the Zurich-style schnitzel is a dream. The staff is always friendly, and everything is always to our complete satisfaction. Very attractive and authentic, both inside and out. In the heart of the old town.

Authentic restaurant with Swabian, Baden, and German cuisine. I've been coming here on and off for 20 years. The dishes in the "Töpfle" (potato dish) are a must.

The staff was very unfriendly, especially towards the children. It took a long time for us to even get our drinks. The food was very overpriced. The taste didn't match the price at all. In the end, they were even more unfriendly. They combined our bill even though we wanted to pay separately. They then gave us a hard time because we said we'd like to pay separately. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it to anyone.

The portions are generous, the waiter is excellent. You can sit outside, and it's cozy inside. Clean. The Allgäu schnitzel with spaetzle was very tasty. However, I wasn't quite fond of the cream sauce that came with it, which tasted of mushrooms even though there weren't any in it. But all in all, I would go back and recommend the restaurant.

A quaint restaurant serving local German cuisine. That's what they advertise, and it lived up to its promise. We went there twice during our three-day stay in the region, and the food was delicious and the service super friendly. They offer separate portion sizes for children and something to color while they wait. Highly recommended!

The Kaiserschmarrn is excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. We sat outside; there was no drinks menu, so we were a bit surprised by the drink prices. Otherwise, it was excellent.

Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend this place. We used to come here regularly, and it was always good. Lately, the food has been increasingly overcooked and overly salty. Furthermore, the friendliness of the service staff leaves a lot to be desired.

Everything was great! I had a turkey schnitzel with fries; the portion was so huge, and it tasted really good, too. The little apple tarts with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream were also amazing. The restaurant looked really great from the inside and was beautifully decorated. The service was also very friendly, and the noise level was pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious, typically Swabian and Baden. The waiter who served us was from Hamburg and always had a witty joke on his lips, which was extremely entertaining.

It was okay. Nothing more. I think it's a shame that you have to pay for everything. Reordering up to €6 is incomprehensible! Even for a little ketchup or mayonnaise, they want a lot of money. It's a shame, unfortunately, that ruins some good impressions. It's also not really good service that you can only pay with debit cards for orders over €40.

Wow, we're simply thrilled. The food is fantastic. We've never had such good home-cooked food. Everything we ordered was super delicious and of the highest quality. We were here on vacation and unfortunately only visited once in one week – if we had stayed for two weeks, we would definitely have come back! Great local cuisine (just like grandma's!), but also with top-notch craftsmanship, plus attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly service... please keep up the good work!

Sehr gefreut auf die Gaststätte anfangs. Sehr urig, kinderfreundlich. Suppe war okay, Kinderessen kam mit der Vorspeise, das war auch (mit den Bedienungen) das einzig positive. Mann bestellte mit Panade, bekam erstmal ohne. Ging zurück, bekam er neu. Meine Pute hat einfach geblutet, habe es zurück gegeben und dann 15 Minuten auf Spätzle gewartet, da war’s aber dann auch schon vorbei mit dem Essen. Gezahlt haben wir knappe 70€, einmal und nie wieder. Bin maximal enttäuscht, gehe 70€ ärmer und hungrig aus ner Gaststätte. Entschuldigung war einfach „ja für das Fleisch kann ich nichts, das tut mir leid“, habe mehr erwartet. Traurig.

The waiter has a loose tongue. Some customers left before ordering. I don't mind. The waitress didn't invent the smile. The food was mediocre. An Allgäu schnitzel. Roasted plain with a cream sauce. Small but delicious. It came with cheese spaetzle. They were okay. For €22.90, it wasn't really worth it. Although everything was served quite quickly, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the Liesele. A shame. P.S. The pilsner always came quickly and was delicious.

A superb restaurant with a very quaint interior! When we're on vacation at Lake Constance, we love going there! We usually reserve a table right away if you're just about to leave, as it's very busy. (You should definitely do that.) The food is simply fantastic! Just like grandma's! Home-style cooking, and on Sundays they also serve a Sunday roast (as long as the roast hasn't been used up). We started with Maultaschensuppe (see picture). As you can see in the picture, it's a very hearty homemade soup that's a poem! Hearty, perfectly flavorful, and made with love! The main course was the "Allgäu-style" schnitzel. This is a natural pork schnitzel with homemade cheese spaetzle and a homemade cream sauce. I also ordered fried onions (because I personally love them), and the meal was, just like 7 years ago, a true poem! Unfortunately, we had to end our vacation today! But we went back today to finish off the day on a high note! And today we had cheese spaetzle with hearty Appenzeller cheese! These spaetzle were also a dream! (See more pictures). About the service: We received a very hospitable welcome. When ordering, our additional requests were fulfilled without any hesitation! Our conclusion: Even after 7 years, Grandma's cooking at Liesele is truly delicious! We'll definitely be back when we're on vacation again 😊!!! We're looking forward to the next time.

Ein super Restaurant, was sehr urig von Innen gestaltet wurde! Wenn wir im Urlaub am Bodensee sind, gehen wir liebend gerne dort hin! Meist wird direkt ein Tisch reserviert, wenn dir kurz vor dem Urlaub sind, da es sehr gut besucht wird. (Sollte man definitiv machen) Das Essen ist einfach klasse! Echt wie bei Oma! Gut bürgerlich und Sonntags gibt es auch einen Sonntagsbraten( solange eben der Braten nicht aufgebraucht wurde). Vorab gab es eine Maultaschensuppe (siehe Bild). Wie auf dem Bild zu sehen ist es eine sehr kräftige selbstgemachte Suppe, die ein Gedicht ist! Kräftig, geschmacklich Perfekt und eben mit Liebe gemacht! Als Hauptgang gab es das Schnitzel „Allgäuer Art“. Dies ist ein naturbelassenes Schweineschnitzel auf selbstgemachte Käsespätzle und einer selbstgemachten Rahmsosse. Ich habe noch zusätzlich fritierte Zwiebeln dazubestellt (weil ich diese persönlich liebe) und das Essen war wie vor 7 Jahren ein wahres Gedicht! Leider mussten wir unseren Urlaub heute beenden! Aber wir sind zum Abschluss nochmal Heute hingegangen um ein gelungenden Abschluss zu haben! Und heute gab es Käsespätzle mit herzhaften Appenzeller Käse! Auch diese Spätzle waren ein Traum! (Siehe weitere Bilder). Zu der Bewirtung: Wir wurden sehr gastfreundlich empfangen. Beim bestellen wurden unsere Zusatzwünsche ohne irgendwelche Bedenken erfüllt! Unser Fazit: auch nach 7 Jahren ist Omas Küche im Liesele ein wahres Gedicht! Wir kommen defintiv wieder wenn wir wieder um Urlaub sind😊!!! Wir freuen uns aufs nächste mal Und ich muss leider hier lesen, dass das Essen TK sei. ich frage mich was mit ihren Geschmacksknospen passiert ist aber es ist was wir gegessen hatten war alles Frisch und selbstgemacht! Super delicious... We were back at Lake Constance after 7 years and went straight to Lisel. It was simply delicious, just like grandma's home, and we weren't disappointed. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend it. We'll be happy to come back when we're back at Lake Constance.

I have to say that the inn is extremely lovingly decorated. It's almost like a museum in some parts. Very nice. You feel at home. And the food is like home. Good German/Swabian/Baden style cooking. I had an XL soup. It was huge and absolutely delicious. I like it. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Wir waren doch über die guten Bewertungen sehr enttäuscht. Sehr überteuert. Ich habe mich auf Käsespätzel gefreut und man konnte auswählen zwischen milden Käse , Bergkäse und Appenzeller (19€). Also habe ich mit Appenzeller bestellt. Das hat man leider kaum geschmeckt, ich dachte es wäre der milde Käse mit etwas Bergkäse gewesen, sehr schade. Statt Röstzwiebeln gab es frittierte Zwiebeln. Ich habe eine große Saftschorle bestellt und bekam 0,3 L für 5 €. Auch die Bedingung fand ich eher "durchschnittlich" nett. Wir können das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

The “Liesele” is always the main reason for us to come to Radolfzell. We make a stop here every time we visit Lake Constance. The menu is simply legendary. Everything tastes good here. Meat, fish, soups and desserts. The plum and apricot dumplings are a must.

Like with your grandma at home! Send me to Liesele ganga and let us feel the same as we did back home. The meat was so tender that I could have cut it with a spoon - right to the Zergeha on the tongue! The meal was hearty, just as you would expect from Swabian cuisine: tasty, down-to-earth and made with heart. What I particularly like: Everyone talks Swabian - this immediately creates a homely atmosphere. The leaders were extremely nice and accommodating, as if they were at the table with the family. Conclusion: If you like it honest, tasty and Swabian, Liesele is the right place for you. I'll come back! ♥️
