Omas Küche im Liesele in Radolfzell am Bodensee

Wir waren doch über die guten Bewertungen sehr enttäuscht. Sehr überteuert. Ich habe mich auf Käsespätzel gefreut und man konnte auswählen zwischen milden Käse , Bergkäse und Appenzeller (19€). Also habe ich mit Appenzeller bestellt. Das hat man leider kaum geschmeckt, ich dachte es wäre der milde Käse mit etwas Bergkäse gewesen, sehr schade. Statt Röstzwiebeln gab es frittierte Zwiebeln. Ich habe eine große Saftschorle bestellt und bekam 0,3 L für 5 €. Auch die Bedingung fand ich eher "durchschnittlich" nett. Wir können das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

The “Liesele” is always the main reason for us to come to Radolfzell. We make a stop here every time we visit Lake Constance. The menu is simply legendary. Everything tastes good here. Meat, fish, soups and desserts. The plum and apricot dumplings are a must.

Like with your grandma at home! Send me to Liesele ganga and let us feel the same as we did back home. The meat was so tender that I could have cut it with a spoon - right to the Zergeha on the tongue! The meal was hearty, just as you would expect from Swabian cuisine: tasty, down-to-earth and made with heart. What I particularly like: Everyone talks Swabian - this immediately creates a homely atmosphere. The leaders were extremely nice and accommodating, as if they were at the table with the family. Conclusion: If you like it honest, tasty and Swabian, Liesele is the right place for you. I'll come back! ♥️

Excellent food in a rustic, cozy atmosphere! Very professional, friendly staff, we ate there twice within a week, the first time actually without a reservation (which is definitely recommended) but the waitress was still able to find a place for us. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Anyone who loves grandma's cooking will find everything their Swabian heart desires here. Beautiful menu with a colorful variety from grandma's kitchen. Hunter's schnitzel or cheese spaetzle, Maultaschen (Maultaschen), and I should also mention the stews – it's best to make a reservation, otherwise you might not get a seat. The atmosphere is everything you'd want: warm and not too bad for a chat. At the salad buffet, I loved the bean salad, the mountain cheese lived up to its promise, and of course, the sauce is a must 🙃🤭🤩 The portions are as you would expect; you'll definitely be full. Thanks for saving us a table. The price/performance ratio was perfect for us. We found the espresso too expensive compared to everything else, but then again, this isn't an Italian restaurant, so I'm just complaining at grandma's level 😇

Great restaurant, rustic interior with lots of exhibits from the past. You always discover something new when you aimlessly look around the restaurant. I really like the facility. The food is also good, the cream of porcini mushroom soup was very tasty, and the huge rump steak was also very soothing. The portions are decent and therefore the price-performance ratio is quite good. The service was top, we were well looked after, the staff regularly asked if everything was okay.

Wir haben uns für Wild, Käseknödel mit Steinpilze und einer Steinpilz Cremesuppe entschieden, für die Suppe und Knödel die gleiche Steinpizlcreme benutzt….. Mit frisch gekochtem hat das nichts zu tun!!! Die Gerichte waren in der Qualität enttäuschend, aus meiner Erfahrung Tiefkühlprodukt. Einfach nicht zu empfehlen, nie nie wieder!

We were thrilled - the children's menu comes with colored pencils to color in. The waiter with the glasses and the earrings is super friendly and attentive. Great, rustic atmosphere, no Instagram frills and the food was really great too. Large portions and a lot of it homemade. Stop by - it's worth it.

It's a shame that our first impression of this very cozy and particularly original restaurant would be marred by the fact that the service was quite annoyed that we were 40 minutes early when we made a reservation for 5:30 p.m. due to a change in schedule and asked politely whether it was It might be possible to stay there now (with our offer to run another lap if it wasn't possible). With hectic cleaning and an unfriendly and annoyed "well, I can't send her away now" we were then allowed to take a seat in extremely cramped conditions. It must be said that the restaurant was by no means full and at that time there were 4 tables free in our viewing area alone. We were somewhat reconciled with really good food... but also at "good" prices. An additional charge of €2.40 for a gravy is quite reasonable, as is a side salad at €7.90.....

Reservations would be an advantage. We were lucky and got a place. It was busy, but still a very cozy and quaint restaurant. Just something else. The waiters were super friendly and didn't let the stress show. The food was excellent and served quickly.

Grandma's cooking is simply great and without criticism. We haven't been to Radolfzell yet. The food is simply great and everything around it as well. Just coincidence brought us to this beautiful location. Since we're still at the lake for a few more days, we'll come back to it. Highly recommended !

Ein Tipp von einem Kollegen aus der Gastronomie! Was für ein Hochgenuss, Zwiebelrostbraten auf den Punkt ,richtige Röstzwiebeln , Omas Bratkartoffeln und eine Sauce zum dahinschmelzen! Schnitzel aus der Pfanne und jeder Salat einzeln angemacht- der Kartoffelsalat hausgemacht! Der Service, wie es den früher gab - es war etwas besonderes bei Euch zu sein! Vielen herzlichen Dank! There is a nostalgic touch here that makes grandma's kitchen seem very cozy. It's the small details that make the decor very special. The food was very tasty and nicely presented. As a trained chef, I can only warmly recommend eating out in such a good kitchen. We didn't have a table reserved and still got one. There was a lot going on at the time. Unfortunately, some members of the service staff had noticed the high volume. Nevertheless, the visit was really great and I would love to come back. 👍🏻

First the positive...the food was great! The location was great 👍 but that was it... it was super full. That spoils the atmosphere a bit. The service was stressed and always running. Bit like at the train station. The food came quickly...and that's where the problem begins. There is a time slot for guests. And when that's over, you're instructed to clear the table. Here the restaurant sets the rules and not the guest. It's a new concept for us that I can't follow. We are people who like to stay seated... enjoy... order another wine... or not shovel in dessert right away. That doesn't work here. It was our wedding anniversary and we didn't know the location because we were from out of town. It was said that there wasn't enough time for dessert. It's a shame...especially for such a special day. Anyone who can handle that will definitely not be disappointed here. Unfortunately it wasn't right for us.

Small, cozy restaurant, perhaps a bit cramped in one place or another, but everything is manageable. Food really tasty and decent portions. Worth mentioning is the salad buffet, everything is delicious and fresh and you only take what you want, it costs extra. Prices local. The boss is really relaxed and always friendly. The staff is otherwise friendly too. We'll come back again. The dog issue wasn't a problem either. Reservation is recommended.

Excellent food! We ate Kässpätzle and Rahmschmitzel there. Both very seasoned. The salad buffet has fresh salads and is constantly refilled. The glass bowl provided is large enough to fill a proper salad plate. Overall, highly recommended.

Ich besuchte das Liesele spontan aufgrund einer Tafel mit Speisevorschlägen. Dort wurden je 2 Marillen- und Zwetschgen -Topfen- Knödel angeboten. Da es dies sehr selten hier gibt und ich nur eine Kleinigkeit essen wollte, nahm ich an einem freien Tisch ( nach Rücksprache mit dem Personal) auf der Terrasse Platz. Das Gericht war in der Qualität enttäuschend, aus meiner Erfahrung Tiefkühlprodukt. Es sollte mit gebräunter Butter serviert werden, davon war kaum etwas zu merken. Es war eine Dessertportion, für mich ausreichend, aber für 9,90 EUR völlig überteuert. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt in dem Restaurant nicht. Ein Blick in die Speisekarte und auf die Teller der anderen Gäste bestätigte mir das. ,

The restaurant is located in the middle of Radolfzell and serves good German Swabian/Baden cuisine. The fact that the menu is written in dialect makes the restaurant something special, because not everyone who speaks High German understands what it says 😉 but the translations are there and with the attached 'Duden' some things become easier. I can highly recommend the Swabian country salad, here it is cooked like at home. We thought it was a shame that there were no drinks on the menu, do you have to ask?

No matter when we were there...the service was always very funny and very friendly. The food is always very tasty and the portions are good. Not a long wait either.

Service very listless and annoyed. If you order and want a different side dish, i.e. spaetzle instead of fries, it costs extra. Salad buffet is rather poor and the glass bowls for the salad look very used and old. At first I thought the waitress wanted to offer our dog water in this bowl. But for me this was for the salad. Unfortunately, the dog was ignored at 30 degrees and didn't get any water. I had called beforehand to see if dogs were allowed. But they are probably more tolerated. Food was ok but wouldn't go there again.

The restaurant in the middle of Radolfzell has been there for a long time, unfortunately the staff and the kitchen are getting worse and worse. The cellar wasn't service oriented at all, the food was just quantity instead of quality. I've never experienced anything like that. Not recommended at all.

The staff is pleasant, the decoration is really awesome and fits the place perfectly, and the cuisine is delicious. The plates are generous, but can also be ordered in smaller portions. A home-style restaurant specializing in local cuisine. The service was excellent and the waiter (ironically a Hamburg original) was very attentive, kind and funny. The food came quickly. Schnitzel with fries was decent, although not the best you can find in the district. In terms of price, the location and the region were perfectly fine for them. Food was really delicious. Salad buffet was good. Only thing. The price. A really big plate of spaetzle with sauce between 10 and 12 euros. That was really usury. A smaller portion of spaetzle for 6 euros would be more appropriate. Unfortunately, none of us have a money printing shop in our basement.

Nice restaurant in the old town. There is down-to-earth Baden-Swabian cuisine. Although we came without a reservation, we were very kindly assigned a table and we were able to eat in a pleasant atmosphere and peace and quiet

The restaurant appeals because of its quaintness. The menu is not very large and takes some getting used to for people from the north.

We've been coming for years and haven't been here in a while. We were disappointed because it became hectic and unfriendly. Kind of like mass processing and you feel like you're in the way everywhere. My recommendation: squeeze in 1-2 fewer tables, then the wait staff has room to walk around and doesn't always have to yell at the guests that they're sitting in the way. It's a shame about the formerly homely restaurant.

When the six of us arrived, we were initially ignored because one table was just getting its food. Then as we walked past we were asked twice if we had a reservation - we didn't. However, it was before 5 p.m. and the restaurant inside was empty except for two tables. So we would have been gone again at the big dinner time. Then another comment was made: "Saturday evening without reservation", although a table for 6 was prepared for us. When you notice the stroller, “park it around the corner with the brakes on.” We then left the restaurant with the comment that we would like to come back and eat if it was all possible in a friendly manner. The atmosphere looked quaint. We can't say anything about the food.

Simply a nice cozy restaurant with great decor and ambience. It should be reserved early as it is very well known and popular. A spontaneous place is difficult to obtain.
