Were here at lunchtime, entire family including 5 years old. Child: it was very relaxed, the staff was friendly and, above all, child-friendly. From the welcome to the children's menu including questions and small gifts. The food was really good, everything fresh, as it should be. Overall, an exciting menu and much more than just a 'typical' sushi restaurant. Clear recommendation, even with children.

Delicious! Wide selection of awesome dishes, friendly service. We had a lovely time! There are mainly meat and fish dishes, but also many vegetarian and vegan options. And try their fresh made lemonades! They're refreshing and delicious. The service is fast and friendly, and happy to accommodate requests. Servers speak both German and English.

Simple furnishings in a very nice commercial building. Tables could have been a bit cleaner overall. The service from the very young employees was first class. Courteous & appropriately friendly. No artificial drama, as I have already experienced. Very authentic. The food was also great. Again, no criticism is necessary. 🙂‍↔️ Gladly again.

I was always very at peace but this time everything was different. Unfriendly waiter and mediocre food. Sushi ends were carelessly presented on the plate and ingredients were stuffed inside. The map has taken a step back.

Unfortunately, we left this restaurant more than dissatisfied. Regardless of the fact that the quantity wasn't right, there are far better sushi restaurants in the surrounding area in terms of taste. We are absolutely disappointed with the staff. We ordered summer rolls with beef. Firstly, there was way too much coriander in it that you couldn't really taste anything else, secondly, the beef was so dry that it reminded us of a dog's snack and was hard to chew. When we wanted to pay, we asked the young waiter to accommodate us because the summer rolls were not edible - his statement was "it's a matter of taste and not a fault of the kitchen". There was no trace of friendliness left, instead he went to the counter shaking his head and loudly announced our complaint. We had to pay the full price. We will definitely not come back and we will also advise all of our loved ones not to visit this restaurant.

All in all, you can't go wrong eating here, but it wasn't an absolute highlight. There's definitely room for improvement in terms of taste (or we were just unlucky with our dishes), the ambience itself is nice and modern, but if you look into the details, you'll notice some not so subtle corners. The staff was nice and quick.

I would have been happy if the staff had been a little more accommodating to the fact that it was your first time there and that you weren't familiar with the kitchen!! Some explanation would have been helpful, but nonetheless the food tasted very good!!

It was very tasty sushi and lovingly prepared. We felt very comfortable. The service was reserved and attentive. There is a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes that are also well presented on the menu. The toilets are also very clean and tidy but a little tight.

Wow, this restaurant was very impressive. Without registering, we managed to get a table after waiting a few minutes. As far as we could see, the tables were all occupied. Nevertheless, we didn't have to wait half an hour for drinks and food. The food was very attractively prepared and tasted excellent. Thank you for this enjoyment! Of course, this is only possible with attentive and hard-working staff. Thumbs up and happy again!

The food was very good and filling. There is a very large selection of different dishes, which I personally found a bit overwhelming. It's a small room and yet you don't feel cramped where you sit. Of course it is quite loud because the restaurant was full. The waiters are attentive but far too quiet. We'd love to come back.

This restaurant is designed to be hip and contemporary. Subtle decorative elements indicate the Asian background. The menu is exciting and invites you to try it. You won't be disappointed. Delicious and rich. The service is friendly and very accommodating. Gladly again. Pre-ordering is advisable.

We really enjoy coming here and often! The food always tastes delicious and fresh. You can tell that everything is freshly prepared. There is a large selection of Vietnamese/Asian dishes & then a large selection of sushi. You can get almost every dish (including sushi dishes) vegan/vegetarian. There’s even really good vegan “chicken” and tofu. The price-performance ratio is also great. All employees are always friendly and do a great job! From Monday to Thursday you can always get a table, even without a reservation.

I always enjoy going to Omachi. The food has never taken me long, it has always been freshly prepared and tastes great. The dishes are beautifully presented. The service is very friendly and helpful if you have any questions about the respective products. I often find it quite cold in the restaurant, even though I'm not a chilblain. 🙈😅 That's the only small negative point. Otherwise, I like to come back to Omachi again and again.☺️

Super nice shop and super delicious food. The employees are very friendly. Service is top and you are served quickly. The food we had was very tasty. A recommendation would be to warm the plates beforehand, otherwise the food will get cold too quickly and reduce the enjoyment. Your plates are very thick and if they are not warmed up a little they will quickly draw heat out of the food... But that doesn't diminish the feeling of my decision to award my stars. Would love to come back...

It's a real shame, but we're used to being in Rostock now. The teriyaki sauce was more like teriyaki water, €22 for a crispy duck...if it had at least tasted good. The cutlery is dirty, you don't get a full set of cutlery (there were three of us eating and we had 3 forks, 2 spoons, 1 knife) Empties are collected in the entrance area...so basically a complete trip to the toilet. The staff definitely needs to be trained and the chef needs to go back to cooking school. If 0 stars were possible, I would give 0 stars here. First and last visit.

Decent dining experience, nothing extraordinary, but decent food and good service

I was here for the first time with my friends. We had booked a table and that was a good thing. It became quite crowded. The staff were great, the menu and drinks came quickly. The food was delicious and the prices were great. A little note, check often to see if you still want drinks.

The menu is very extensive. But you have enough time to find your way around. The food is incredibly delicious! I will definitely come back! There is still so much to try. 👍 The only drawback: music that is too loud.

Update 2023: Unfortunately, the prices have risen quite a bit and the price/performance ratio is currently no longer as good as it was at the beginning - unfortunately we looked for other alternatives and therefore only give it 3/5. - maybe Things are changing for the better. Very friendly staff - easy table reservations by phone. Outdoor area in summer. Food: Good selection and always fresh ingredients and appealing food.

Despite a confirmed business table reservation with more than 10 people, company holidays were simply held! Nobody called! An absolute disgrace! The food is very good, there's nothing to complain about! However, the reliability is not good at all. Now I have to explain to over 10 business customers that their trip is free! What a shame!

Das Essen war total lecker und die Bedienung super freundlich. Für meinen Geschmack war es etwas zu laut, aber es kann auch am Weihnachtstrubel liegen. Wir kommen gern im neuen Jahr wieder. 😊

Wir waren zum 3. Mal bei Omachi essen und unser Fazit ist leider nicht besonders gut. Hohe Preise sind hier sicherlich auch durch die gute Lage und die entsprechend hohe Miete begründet, denn durch die besonderen Gerichte können sie es nicht sein. Auch war die Menge nicht ausreichend für den Preis, wir wurden für über 35€ pro Person nicht wirklich satt. Die "Sushi-Viet-Fusion"-Küche ist schlichtweg eine Karte auf der sowohl Sushi als auch typische Viet-Gerichte zu finden sind. Die Sashimi waren teils so dick geschnitten, dass sie dadurch unappetitlich wurden. Der vegane Lachsersatz hatte eine gummiartige Konsistenz und schmeckte nach... naja nach nichts. Das kenne ich besser. Zum Positiven: Die Einrichtung ist sehr modern und interessant, das Personal sehr höflich und freundlich. Die Zutaten scheinen sehr frisch. Auch ist es löblich, dass sowohl Bestellungs- als auch Rechnungswesen digital läuft und das Aufteilen der Rechnung unter Freunden somit sehr schnell und einfach geht. Alles in Allem würde ich Omachi wünschen, dass die Qualität der Gerichte an den Preis herankommt, damit sich ein Besuch auch im Nachhinein gut anfühlt.

Wir hatten dort einen Date Abend. Der Hund durfte mit. Die Atmosphäre ist ganz toll, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Wir finden die Speisen fantastisch. Flying Noodels sind sehr beeindruckend. Es war extrem lecker, gibt reichlich Auswahl für Vegetarier und Veganer. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist aus meiner Sicht total gut.

Moderne Location, gutes Essen. Ich at schon mehrfach hier. Letztes Mal war es auch wieder super. Wir haben reserviert und hatten HotPot. Waren alle sehr zufrieden, kann auch das Sushi nur empfehlen!

Wir waren heute das erste mal in diesem Restaurant und waren zunächst von der Einrichtung und dem netten Personal positiv eingestellt. Die Getränke und Vorspeise haben ein wenig auf sich warten lassen, war aber noch okay. Als wir dann eine Stunde auf das Sushi warten mussten waren wir jedoch kurz davor zu gehen. Die Platte war vom Preis und vom Geschmack her etwas zu teuer. Die Getränke Preise fair. Alles in allem war es okay.

Sehr nette Bedienung, sauber und vor allem Lecker. Richtiger Schmackofatz. Kann man nur empfehlen. 1, 2, 3 ich komme nochmal vorbei.

Restaurant war an dem Abend wenig besucht. Service dauerte dennoch lange und war unaufmerksam bzw. drehte sich absichtlich weg. Eine Kellnerin versuchte es wettzumachen, aber kann auch nicht überaus gleichzeitig sein. Ein Hauptgericht wurde komplett vergessen. Wir hätten auch gerne noch etwas getrunken. Portionen für den Preis generell zu klein, Tempura Sushi war sehr ölig, mit Ingwer, Saucen und Wasabi wurde sehr gegeizt. Nudeln viel zu weich, fast matschig. Gemüse und Fleisch waren vom Garpunkt dagegen sehr gut. Musik war schrecklich und erinnerte eher an eine Teeniedisco. Schade, dass das Potential hier nicht ausgeschöpft wird.

Service war gut. Essen war gut. Alles war gut.

Wir waren gestern das 2. Mal im Omachi essen und es war wieder ein Erlebnis! Das Essen wird sehr ansprechend serviert und schmeckt sehr gut! Obwohl es recht voll war, ist es gemütlich. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich und geduldig. Der Preis dazu auch noch wirklich in Ordnung! Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch 😊

Das Omachi lockt mit einladender Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte enthält wenige vegetarische oder vegane Gerichte, wobei gerade Sushi hier mehr Möglichkeiten bieten würde. Das Essen traf 50 Minuten nach Bestellung ein, obwohl das Restaurant nicht einmal halb belegt war. Das Essen war für Rostocker Verhältnisse ok, wer authentisch thailändisch, vietnamesische oder japanisch gegessen hat wird enttäuscht sein, dass die Gerichte so fad schmecken. Auch scharf ist hier höchstens pikant. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht ganz. Omachi tempts with a cozy atmosphere, but the menu lacks in originality. There's not much selection for vegetarians or vegans, despite the abundance that Sushi could offer. We had to wait for approximately 50 minutes for our food, despite half of the tables beeing empty. Compared to other restaurants in Rostock that offer vietnamese, thai or japanese kitchen the food was OK. For those who experienced the authentic cuisine: you will be dissapointed greatly.. The food is bland and hot food isn't hot at all, it isn't even spicy. So compared to the price the experience all over was not satisfactorily.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten - und zum letzten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Das beste vorweg, dafür auch die beiden Punkte: das Essen war super. Allerdings gab es einige Dinge die einfach nicht gehen.. Das Essen des „Omachi“ ist eher hochpreisig, was das Restaurant jedoch dann einfach nicht widerspiegelt: im engen Eingangsbereich, der sich direkt dem Gastraum anschließt, standen zwei Rewe Einkaufswagen , kennt man sonst eigentlich nur von Pommesbuden. An der Deckenkonstruktion hängen Kameras.. (?????). Ich habe nirgendwo einen gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Hinweis darauf finden können. Aber es ist ja auch eher trauriger als traurig, dass man seinen Gästen offenbar nicht vertraut. Ich hab das auch so noch nie gesehen. Der Service war bemüht. Leider bekamen wir als sehr abweisende Antwort auf Nachfragen, Wunsch auf Nachbesserung (Rosé Wein war weiß. Weißwein war total WARM.): „das ist das, was Sie bei mir bestellt haben.“. Es mag Mentalität sein, aber wenn man als Gast wohlmeinend etwas fragt, was die Qualität des gewünschten Getränks o.ä. angeht, sollte die erste Reaktion nicht so dermaßen abweisend sein, sondern freundlich und zurückhaltend, so wie wir es in der Gastronomie allgemein erwarten dürfen. Das kenne ich so auch nicht. Der Gast soll sich wohlfühlen, nur so geht Gastfreundschaft.. Da ist es dann sogar zusätzlich noch peinlich für den Wirt, wenn wir Eiswürfel für unseren warmen Weißwein angeboten bekommen.. Wir leben im Rheinland, mit großer Restaurantdichte und vielen asiatischen, vornehmlich japanischen Restaurants. Deren Service ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben und tadellos. Das „Omachi Sushi-Viet-Fusion“ würde bei uns nicht sehr lange bestehen..

Wir haben 50 Minuten umsonst auf das bestellte Essen gewartet und sind dann wieder hungrig gegangen da wir noch einen Termin hatten.

Gemütliches asialokal mit sehr freundlicher bedienung haaten eine bowel mit entenbrust, grosse portion mit viel frischem gemüse und salat und reis, sowie einen grossen sushi,makiteller, davor eine miso suppe, als sossen gabs eine leckere ernusscreme, alle speisen nett angerichtet u. von sehr gutem geschmack. Ein perfektes abendessen und sehr zu empfehlen

Die Sushi sind hervorragend, besser habe ich die in den letzten 5 Jahren nicht gegessen. Der Service ist ausgesprochen nett und kompetent, das Ambiente sehr angenehm. Die negativ-Bewerter müssen in einem anderen Restaurant gewesen sein!

Wir wollten heute als Familie ein für uns neues Restaurant ausprobieren. Beim Versuch nach einem Tisch zu fragen, wurden wir dermaßen rausgekantet. Sowas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Wir waren wohl 15 Minuten vor der Öffnungszeit im Restaurant. Dies war am Eingang nicht ersichtlich und die Tür nicht verschlossen. Die Reaktion war kein freundlicher Hinweis, sondern „was ist denn hier los, gehen sie bitte“. Ich kann verstehen, wenn man ungehalten ist während der verdienten Pausen, allerdings macht der Ton die Musik. Tür abschließen und Öffnungszeiten prominent anbringen hilft auch…

Guter, schneller, freundlicher Service Uns hat das was wir bestellt haben sehr gut geschmeckt und wir kommen wieder, um andere Speisen zu probieren.

Schlechtes Essen 🥘 der Geschmack war wirklich widerlich! Sind aus Berlin zu Besuch in Rostock und dachten man könnte in diesem Restaurant gut essen, da es vom Erscheinungsbild sehr qualitativ hochwertig erscheint. Wir hatten Eiernudeln mit Entenbrust und frittierte Garnelen in Kokos-Currysauce. Der Preis war mehr als überteuert für dieses 0815 Essen. Auf Beschwerde wurde lediglich mit dem Kommentar: nächste mal besser reagiert.

Das Essen war absolut lecker. Haben schon viele Asiaten ausprobiert, auch in mehreren Ländern, dieser hier ist ganz besonders gewesen. Das Ambiente ist authentisch, das Personal ist extrem nett und gut drauf und das Essen war wirklich herausragend gut. Wir werden wieder kommen.
