My daughter and I were absolutely delighted with the delicious food. We had a lovely, cozy evening. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we immediately felt welcome. We will definitely go there again if we are ever in Freiburg again!

The food there is always delicious and plentiful :) I always enjoy coming here to eat. Whether with family or friends - everyone is always very satisfied.

It's always a pleasant and enjoyable experience to visit this family-run restaurant. The Greek food is freshly prepared and comes in generous portions. The light salad dressing is delicious. The salad is included in the price of the main course. We always enjoy coming here with the family. The service is friendly and very attentive.

Super delicious food with rather large portions and very friendly service. The prices are completely reasonable for these days. Even though I'm not from Freiburg and therefore can't say for sure, you should reserve a table in advance or at least call and ask how busy the restaurant is.

Best Greek restaurant in Freiburg!!!

We were disappointed, the service is good and the staff is friendly (even though they only speak Greek and German), but the place does not refer to Greek cuisine as well as its dishes. We took two special gyros, we found the meat covered in Kraft-type slices, the salads were without tomatoes, feta or cucumbers. The children's menu suovlaki a slice of chicken on a skewer with chips. The calamarata 7 pieces covered in chips. The cost of drinks is high, 4.40 for a coke, the same for half a liter of water. The pita is brought only if purchased (3€ for a pita) otherwise it is not present on the table. I do not recommend to Italians looking for Greek cuisine

Located in the heart of the city, yet still in the countryside, with a lovely little shady garden restaurant. Great value for money. No reheated ready meals! Salads are fresh and crisp.

Wie gehabt eine authentische, gute und wohlschmeckende griechische Küche, die ihresgleichen in Freiburg sucht. Negative Rezensionen von Neidern sind leider nicht nachvollziehbar. Wir wurden wie immer freundlich, herzlichen und zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war hervorragend und authentisch griechisch. Als Grieche kann och dies mit Sicherheit gut beurteilen

On the way home from Lake Garda, I found a free table at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Most of the tables were already reserved. Very friendly service. The food was incredibly delicious.

I don't really want to advertise, otherwise it will be difficult to get a seat at some point :) The food and the friendliness are top-notch. The homemade Galakto is absolutely delicious!

Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment overall. The portions were very small, and the usual Greek rice was completely missing. Payment was only possible with debit card or cash – Visa was not accepted. When paying, we had to go back to the car and were apparently forgotten afterward. One dish was missing a skewer, and the ouzo arrived significantly late. All dishes were served without sauce – very dry. For three tiny dollops of tzatziki (literally the size of a hazelnut), an additional €5.20 was charged – simply disproportionate. Another dish was extremely expensive, probably just because of a hint of Metaxa sauce. On the positive side, the food tasted really good: the meat was juicy, the fries crispy, and the appetizer salad was excellent – ​​it would get 5 stars for that.

A cozy Greek grill restaurant with great food and excellent service! It's now one of our regulars. It's busy, so reservations are recommended during peak times.

Yesterday we went to the Greek restaurant again. When I was looking for the phone number to make a reservation, I came across a review from last month that didn't match what we remembered at all. We like being there but are by no means regular guests. Since it's been a good six months since we were last there, I was quite surprised at the bad rating. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted in a very friendly manner by the operators, who we also remembered. We each ordered a starter and a main course. The starters were very tasty and we were also given extra plates to share and of course fresh bread. Afterwards we waited for the main courses, which arrived promptly and were curious to see whether they were really that small. All we can say is that every dish was as we remembered it. It simply tasted delicious, was beautifully presented on the plates and, by God, was anything but too little. Oh of course there was also a salad to accompany the dishes. We left the Greek restaurant happy and well-fed, already looking forward to the next time. Thank you very much. 😀

Wir sind aufgrund der überaus guten Bewertungen im Olympia gelandet und wurden sehr enttäuscht. Die Portionen waren mehr als dürftig. Am Nebentisch waren diese zwar sichtbar größer und wir bekamen das Gefühl, dass Stammkunden mehr auf den Teller bekommen als neue Gäste. Außerdem gab es als Beilage nur Pommes und nicht wie sonst beim Griechen Kartoffel Chips und Reis. Im Nachhinein ist mir aufgefallen, dass die bisherigen Bewertungen etwas älteren Datums sind, vielleicht liegt das daran? Jedenfalls sind wir da anderes gewohnt beim Griechen, schade!

It's a really nice restaurant. The service is super nice and even though it was very busy, she was super nice and always there straight away. The food was excellent. The only small disadvantage is that there is no parking, but that in no way reduces this rating. I'll definitely come by more often.

We were at the Olympia for the first time with our friend, who has been a guest for decades. Very friendly welcome, great service and most importantly, a very tasty gyro with great fries. Vicky is a great host who sometimes takes the time to chat. At the next table, gyros with Metaxa sauce were served, which smelled fantastic and will be next on my menu. Absolute recommendation. Reservation makes sense. Ouzo before and after meals...

Wir gehören seit vielen Jahren zu den begeisterten Olympia Fans. Ein Besuch ist wie ein kleiner Urlaub in Griechenland. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und der Service ist sehr herzlich. Eine Reservierung empfiehlt sich, wir sind vorwiegend mittags zu Gast.

A wonderful evening which was also due to our table neighbors!! Since we didn't have a reservation, we were seated at the regulars' table, which we shared with a super nice couple (musicians) from Freiburg. If you're reading this... you're sooooo nice... we really enjoyed the evening with you!! The restaurant is family-run and the service, which is quick, exudes a human warmth... extremely pleasant. I had the Hella plate and my companion had the Tamara and as a main course the Mykono plate.....everything was of excellent quality!! In short...we felt completely comfortable that evening thanks to the service, the food and of course our table neighbors. Visually, the restaurant is inconspicuous from the outside but extremely tasty. Both the starters and all the main courses were great. The classic gyros and tzatziki as well as lamb dishes are particularly recommended. The baked zucchini was also very crispy and delicious

Nice little Greek restaurant. Large selection of food. The salad dressing is delicious and my main course was very good. Unfortunately there were only fries as a side dish. I really missed Greek rice. The staff is really exceptionally friendly. A down-to-earth, small Greek restaurant with good food.

Ate here for the first time. Perfect. It couldn't be better. Very friendly family-run restaurant. The gyros with the squid rings were excellent. The starter salad was also very tasty. First we had oven feta. Price-performance ratio is very strong these days. If I were from Freiburg I would have my favorite Greek restaurant here.

Were at dinner. My wife drank a peterstaler medium gourmet water 0.5 l. I had to look twice when paying: seriously €4.10. I looked online. Whole box with 12 bottles €10.40. It's pretty outrageous. I asked: everything will be more expensive. Like right now? Getting more expensive is slowly becoming an excuse to spend more money. They should be ashamed. Now I have to find another Greek. A pity

The fantastic food creates a cozy atmosphere that is a pleasure for the entire body and mind. I have tried many dishes and have never been disappointed. Definitely worth a visit!

One of the most amazing surprises from Freiburg, the staff was incredible attentive, and the food is delicious.

Arrived here at 9pm out of desperation, not finding any other places open and not sold out in the midst of the Christmas holidays. It was a pleasant surprise, very warm welcome, without being intrusive, and in Greek spirit. Vast menu, very generous portions, as soon as we ordered we were offered a plate of salad and two glasses of sambuca. Ordered a plate of gyros with potatoes, a salad with grilled turkey, a beer and a water, spending 36 euros. Highly recommended!

Wir sind im Hotel Hamton by Hilfen und habe ein Lokal gesucht, leider in Freiburg schwierig, wir sind durch Google auf das Olympia aufmerksam geworden, 15 Minuten vom Hotel zu Fuß. Wir können das Lokal nur wärmstens empfehlen, freundlich Sauber, man fühlt sich sofort auf das Herzlichste Willkommen. Hier scheinen viel einheimische essen zu gehen, was schonmal für sich spricht, die Portionen sind Reichlich. Preisleistung Top. Wenn wir aus Frankfurt mal wieder hier sind, gehen wir wieder hier her.

Einfach alles super! Portionen, Service, Geschmack, Ambiente. Super nette und wirklich sehr aufmerksame (aber nicht aufdringliche) Besitzer. Gegessen haben wir Saganaki (panierter, frittierter Käse), Ouzo Teller, Bifteki und Hähnchen in Metaxa Dose und danach noch lecker gemischtes Eis. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Das Personal war mega freundlich und das Essen exzellent. Dieses Restaurant ist zu 100% zu empfehlen.Wir werden ,bei einer Reise nach Freiburg, dort definitiv wieder einkehren-aber dieses mal vorher reservieren. Ganz dickes Lob von uns.Macht weiter so!!!!
