The first time I went there, the doner kebab was delicious. It was one of the best I've ever had. The second time, however, the bread was completely ruined. It was even open at the bottom. The sauce was leaking out, and it was very bad.

The yufka was delicious. Honest meat and ingredients. It cost 10 bucks, but it was absolutely worth it.

The plastic film melts along with the meat.

The meat is of very high quality, the sauces go perfectly with it, and the staff is always friendly. I have nothing to complain about.

Good but expensive and really inconsistent. I usually get my pizzas here, and usually they're pretty good, sometimes even great and really tasty!!! but other times they burn them down to a crisp and/or serve them with literal holes in the dough (this has happened to me at least 3 times). Today I tried their Fladen Döner, and for the first time ever I couldn't finish it despite being really hungry. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the worst Döner I've had in my life. It was dry, some ingredients were straight bad, and the whole thing was messy af. It was also really expensive, even compared to other places in the city centre. It was a big disappointment. I'll keep getting my Pizzas there, because as I said, they can be really tasty!!! But I'd never recomend to get anything else here.

First, a pizza is forgotten, and then you have to wait for 45 minutes for it to be delivered. And the best part is, you get something like this delivered. See pictures! Not to mention, the pizza is freezing cold! After repeatedly asking by phone, the staff became rudely unfriendly and rude. To top it off, they hung up on me several times.

Two years ago, I wrote this review: “It's one of the few places where I enjoy eating döner, it's really good 👍🏼 I highly recommend it.” But now I've changed my mind; unfortunately, it's no longer as delicious as it was before.

An average spot, but good if you’re looking for a quick bite. The falafel, nuggets, and döner are decent enough to satisfy hunger, though nothing extraordinary. Convenient for a casual, on-the-go meal.

Never eaten such a bad kebab. Even one star is too much. Maybe for the fries, which at least were tasty. The falafel tasted strange, the beef was inedible, the bread was soft and anything but fresh. The same goes for the vegetables (including thick, dried-out, thick slices of cucumber). The sauce tasted of nothing. I doubt hygiene is a priority there. The high chair was completely dirty and sticky. I didn't put my child in it. Unfortunately, the staff didn't respond at all despite asking. The staff were very unfriendly anyway. To top it all off, one employee simply sat down at the table next to us and lit a cigarette, even though all the seats outside were free (which definitely doesn't surprise me). We were so disappointed and disgusted with the food (especially the meat) that we could only leave the food and leave. Vastly overpriced for the quality and service.

The doner meat in my doner box was really bad. It tasted like nothing, like horse meat. The meat felt like chewing gum, and the €9 it costs isn't worth it. This place is truly garbage.

It's NEVER 100% beef, it tastes so intensely of sheep or mutton, which wasn't the case in the past. A real shame.

You can eat excellent Jufka, doner kebabs, and pizza here. Always freshly prepared. If you want your Jufka spicy, they'll accommodate your request. A very nice and friendly team works at Olivia in the Westarkaden. We always enjoy going there.

We went there during our lunch break because it was close to work. I didn't particularly like it. The food was okay, and the service and ambiance were also decent. But I wouldn't go again.

I ordered a doner kebab with ayran. The seller immediately took my money, handling it with both gloved hands. Immediately afterward—without changing gloves or washing his hands—he prepared my doner kebab. He cut the meat raw from the skewer without frying or heating it. The preparation was accordingly unhygienic and unappetizing, and that's exactly how the doner tasted.

I had a chicken doner kebab for €8.90, which I find quite expensive. The beef one was even €9.90. The service was unfriendly, and what I found really annoying was that they served locals while everyone else had to pick up their food from the counter. I won't be going here again.

He just makes it too spicy without being to my liking. I didn't want it to be spicy and Yufka isn't made properly and the sauce is too little.

I really don't understand why the chicken yufka was burnt today, both the meat and the dough were completely burnt and very inedible. But sometimes it is very tasty. I think quality management should be improved.

Definitely my favorite kebab shop in Freiburg! Super tasty and fresh, good chicken and very tasty and light kebab sauce. I've been a regular here for a long time and have never been disappointed!

The falafel are bland, pre-made industrial thalers. The hummus tastes like nothing. The room is packed with crates of drinks and the benches on the walls are unpadded. Tinny sounding loud music is playing. I don't go there anymore.

After eating fries, you have a stomach ache and diarrhea for two days. Guess old grease. Was my last visit.

I don't understand how this restaurant has such a good rating. I don't want to harm the restaurant, just share my personal opinion about the food. I've eaten there about 6 times now and can say the following. For me personally, all meat dishes there are not edible. The chicken meat there is very strangely seasoned and doesn't fit together front and back. Before the owner the meat was more edible. On the other hand, I can highly recommend the pizzas there. Margherita, veggie pizzas and any other dough dish without meat. Olivia is also at the top in terms of price/performance. With a kebab price of €8.50, they are among the most expensive in Freiburg. I also think the Margherita pizza is very expensive at €10. At pretty much every Italian restaurant in Freiburg, the Margherita pizza costs less than €8 and the difference in quality is enormous. Overall, I still think it's a shame that such a meat mixture is for sale. I hope this will change in the future.

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to try the food, I ordered through Lieferando. I waited for over two hours, and in the end the order was marked as delivered in the app, but it didn't arrive. The driver was already near my address (you can track it via the app) and I have no idea what went wrong. I find it strange that you have to leave a phone number and it wasn't used to ask if there was any irritation (address). Very weak, will never use the service again.

Tastes fresh and delicious! The staff very polite and friendly. There is also something for (almost) every eating habit! Vegan, vegetarian, meat, wheat-free!

I have tried many kebab shops in Germany, but none come close to the quality and taste of Olivia Döner. The kebab is always fresh, tasty and perfectly seasoned. The meat is tender and juicy, and the side dishes are always fresh and crunchy. I think the friendly service is particularly great - there is often even home-made tea. The atmosphere in the store is cozy and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. I also noticed that they grill the kebab meat with coal. I can highly recommend this kebab shop and will definitely come back!”

Incredible kebab and Yufka. Here you get a lot for your money. The yufka is so big that you could eat it for almost two days. And the taste is also great, great crispy meat and a very tasty sauce.

I had a very tasty doner kebab here this evening. The guys behind it are very friendly and the food, as written, is very tasty. I got a free tea and a piece of baklava as a desert after the meal. Class

Pretty rude service, we didn’t have to wait for a long time, but they make food without gloves… a bit pricey for a kebab place. If you don’t like smoke or smoking don’t sit outside, it stinks of smoking. Food is in big portions for me, the kebab overall was good. The plate - okay. If you like kebab and smoking and fast food it’s a place for you to try!

Everything is well done, but I don't like it when I'm sold a doner and the workers sit next to me at the table where I'm eating and start smoking cigarettes. Dunera is always fresh, but there is more to be desired for a 10 euro duner.

Danger. Get the bill and count it again and again! I politely pointed out to the owner at the checkout that he had overcharged, then I was told in very bad German that that couldn't be the case and that he always did everything right...after recalculating again, I got the overpaid amount Money back. Very friendly staff, the food was delicious (chicken foot with vegetables) and a tea with it. I was brought a second piece of pizza because mine was too small 😀🌻 (I didn't even notice 😁😀😀) I'd love to do it again next time I'm shopping 🌻

5 stars are a bit too much, but 4 wouldn't be enough... The pizzas are really well filled! There's a lot on it and it tastes good, but I don't think the dough is particularly special (but not bad either). I just think the edges are too thick. Fast service :-)

I visited Olivia for the first time. I can only recommend the selection, quality and taste of the products and describe them as delicious. We will be happy to come back. I give the one star for the ambience because of the hygiene of the tables outside. The reason for this is that, although there were hardly any customers eating outside, none of the tables presented an appealing hygiene and inviting cleanliness, just dingy...!

Tasty, very good quality, reasonable prices. I can't give 5 points for the ambience, this is a fast food restaurant. But I can tell those reading that the employees know what speed is. Telephone orders will be ignored. Unfortunately things have gotten really bad since the change of ownership. Rude, doesn't listen and way too expensive. Reply to the owner's post: Yes, your prices are in line with the market - but the fact that orders are ignored is not in line with the market. If you offer service that is below market service, you cannot charge market prices. Logical, right?

Well located, well attended. The place looks acceptable. However, I found the kebab to taste just enough. At least the chicken meat didn't really convince me in terms of quality or aroma. The kebab wasn't bad, but for €8.50 it wasn't good in my opinion.

Very strong: I had my Falafel Yufka in my hand in just 5 minutes after arriving - despite the queue and there was a lot going on on a Sunday evening at seven!

€8.50 for an underground Yufka. I wouldn't like to portray it as quite as bad, but then this would probably be a prime example of lying. One could exaggerate the feeling that after Edeka had success with its own brand "Gut&Günstig", the operators probably thought they had found a gap in the market and therefore acted according to the motto "bad&expensive". But who can blame you? With such a good cut in terms of reviews, the scam seems to be working. I'm not falling for this though!

The meat is good, and there is choice of beef/chicken. Had beef, seemed high quality for kebab and was cut straight from the skewer. Unfortunately, the overall package was very underwhelming. Extremely packed with salad, sauce tasted too salty, the back piece was dry. But at least one of the few kebabs that still has normal kebab skewers and not these Mettwurst pressed things. Oh yes, and top price level

Solid 3 stars. More is not possible. Doner kebab is sometimes ok, sometimes dry. But let's be honest, 8 euros for bread, salad and a bit of meat/a few falafel balls. This is extremely expensive and not worth more than 3 stars. There is also talk of a "VAT increase" in the restaurant, which is why the food must now be expensive. Do they think we’re stupid?! The VAT has not been increased, it is now back to normal and this is passed on to us. Unspeakable

Essen war wirklich über durchschnittlich die Jungs sind sehr nett allerdings lädt der Laden nur zum schnellen essen ein.

An sich mag ich den Döner gern aber wenn ich 10x mit Rind bestell und 8 mal mit Hühnchen bekomm find ich keinen Grund mehr um hinzugehen. Das war jetzt leider das letzte Mal.

Eigentlich echt ein leckerer Döner. Aber für 7,50 leider viel zu klein. Hätte locker zwei essen können.

Wir haben ein Döner bestellt und haben stattdessen einen yufka bekommen. Auch bei dem yufka den wir bestellt haben, waren Zutaten drin die wir abbestellt haben. Beim yufka und Döner hätten Kalbsfleisch drin sein sollen, stattdessen war Hähnchen drin. Beim Dönerteller gab es viel zu wenig Soße, es hat viel zu trocken geschmeckt, schräg sollte drauf sein, was auch nicht der Fall war und im Reis waren so komische Erbsen drin. Das sollte man wenigstens in der beschreibung angeben. Außerdem kam die Lieferung zu spät, um einiges zu spät, das Essen war kalt und war einfach nicht genießbar. Also bestellen werden wir da eindeutig nicht mehr. Vor Ort essen ist hingegen sehr lecker. Als wären es 2 verschiedene Restaurants.

Letztes Jahr haben Sie auf anderes Fleisch umgestellt, das uns nicht mehr schmeckt und auch teurer war. Bis dahin war es mein Lieblingsladen, zumal er fast vor meiner Haustür ist. Mittlerweile fahre ich lieber ein Stück.

Nettes Personal, aber wenn man zu den Stoßzeiten kommt und viel los ist sehr hektisch und das Dönerfleisch wird aus einem Eimer genommen. Geschmacklich ist das Fleisch nicht sehr gut und sehr zäh.
