Absolut empfehlenswert! Von Döner bis Pizza – die Beläge sind sehr großzügig. Auch der Service ist hervorragend, sehr herzlich und einladend. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen! ✨

Wir sind zufällig hier gelandet und es war ein wirklich gutes Erlebnis mit dem Kebab.

Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Sowohl der Außenbereich als auch der Bereich hinter der Theke wirkten auf uns sehr schmutzig und ungepflegt. Das Fleisch war teilweise verbrannt, extrem hart und ließ sich nur mit kräftigem Kauen essen. Danach war mir außerdem sehr übel, was ich nach einem Döner normalerweise überhaupt nicht kenne. Beim Olivia im Kaufland hatten wir bisher nie solche Probleme und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Deshalb wollten mein Mann und ich diesen Laden einmal ausprobieren – für uns war es leider eine enttäuschende Erfahrung und definitiv kein besonderes Geschmackserlebnis.

Leider muss ich sagen, das es eklig war. Ihr müsst was gegen den Grünen FLIEGEN machen, noch nie so viele fliegen erlebt in einem Restaurant, Fleisch kalt und trocken, sorry aber ich war sehr angewidert und habe meinen Teller nicht gegessen!!

Früher habe ich hier oft gegessen, aber das heutige Erlebnis war sehr schlecht. Das Essen, die Hygiene und die Atmosphäre waren einfach nur enttäuschend.

Nach einer außerordentlich hinreisenden und Puls belastenden Fußgänglichkeit in Schweizer Höhenregionen, begaben wir uns zu diesem schamvollen Drehspiel Areal. Nach ausgiebigem Studieren der Mahlzeitsauswahl, entschieden wir uns für einen Fleisch-Rollo (yufka). Dieser kam zu unserer vollsten Überraschung nach nur wenigen Minütchen des Wartens in der Klimatisierten Bude. Die Rolle voller Geschmack und Sätte verleihte uns der Mitarbeiter rasch mit nette. Das Rindfleisch bei Olivia ist sooo lecker! Super saftig, perfekt gewürzt und einfach ein Geschmackserlebnis. Die Qualität merkt man bei jedem Bissen. Dazu noch freundlicher Service und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Wer gutes Essen und besonders starkes Rindfleisch liebt, muss hier unbedingt vorbeischauen. Klare 5 Sterne!!

Gab laut Aussage des Angestellten keinen Steak Döner mehr, obwohl an dem Spieß noch Fleisch war. So kann man sich auch das eigene Geschäft versauen.

Haloumi Döner für 8.50€ geholt, 3 scheiben Haloumi und ein klein wenig Salat, Kraut etc… Geschmacklich eigentlich gut, nur leider für das Geld viel zu wenig…

Kartenzahlung ist da ungerne gesehen, am besten nur mit Bargeld kommen. Finde ich nicht zeitgemäß.

Leider sehr enttäuschend. Da viel los war mussten sie die Kunden schnell abfertigen, was ja auch verständlich ist, jedoch sollte der Dönerspieß meiner Ansicht nach durch Hitze und nicht durch Flammen und Feuer gegrillt werden. Somit war das Fleisch schon eher schwarz. Der Döner war einfach nicht lecker auch da die Mischung mit Salat etc. Nicht besonders lecker war also keine Gewürze oder orientalische Geschmäcker. Würde ich also nicht noch einmal besuchen.

Jährlich, wenn die Tochter ihre Untersuchungen in der Uniklinik Freiburg gemacht bekommt, sind wir in diesem Laden. Preisleistung und der Geschmack kaum zu übertreffen. Die Portionen riesig. Sauberkeit, freundliches Personal. Immer wieder gerne. Her zaman yine gelirim.

Leckeres Essen, sehr nettes Personal! Es gibt sogar eine Spielecke für die Kinder, was ich persönlich super finde.

Wir essen immer wieder gern dort! Neben zwei verschiedenen Spießen (Rind oder Hähnchen) für Kebab und Yufka, schmecken vor allem die Pizzen gut. Diesesmal habe ich den Thunfischsalat probiert: Sehr lecker! Viel hochwertiger Thunfisch auf frischen Salaten mit Yoghurt Sauce. Große, sättigende Portion.

Döner gibt's hier mit Rindfleisch, lecker! Zutaten sind frisch.

Super nette Mitarbeiter, großer Raum mit angenehmer Atmosphäre und das Fleisch ist genial. Super Döner und ordentlich prall gefüllt.

Der beste Steak Döner den ich jemals hatte obendrauf ist der sogar auf Holzkohle grill gemacht worden das war der Hammer!!!

Die pizza war unverzehrbar, der teig war kommplett aufgeweicht und das fleisch war wie aus gummi. Einfach nein!

Über Lieferando bestellt und bezahlt, nach über einer Stunde noch keine Lieferung bekommen. Auf Anrufe reagiert reagiert das Restaurant nicht. Nach knapp 2 Stunden wurde die Bestellung dann storniert; den halben Abend umsonst auf das Essen gewartet. Bei einem Besuch vor Ort gab es nur Pizza; Dönerfleisch (sowohl Hähnchen als auch Rind) waren aus. Toller Dönerladen, dem das Essen ausgeht.

Der beste Döner, den ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe. Frische Zutaten, freundlicher und schneller Service. Ich kann dieses Lokal absolut empfehlen.

Das war heute der beste Falloumi Yufka, den ich bisher je gegessen habe!

Lecker, sehr gute Qualität, vernünftige Preise. Ich kann keine 5 Punkte beim Ambiente geben, das ist ein Schnellrestaurant. Aber ich kann den Lesenden sagen, dass die Mitarbeiter wissen, was Geschwindigkeit ist. Wer mal um 13:00 Uhr mitbekommen hat, wenn die Schlange schlagartig zunimmt, wie diese Leute die Schlagzahl erhöhen, sagenhaft!

Die Qualität des Essens ist herausragend. Die Leute sind nett. Das ist mit Abstand die beste Döner Bude die ich kenne.

Falafel Yufka ist ok, geht aber besser. Leider hat der Bulgur im Yufka gefehlt, allgemein wenig Soße und das Kraut sollte mariniert werden. Falafel an sich Bombe.

Der Döner gehört zu den besten in Freiburg. Alle Angestellten sind freundlich und ich werde jedes Mal herzlich empfangen.

Leider schlechter, teurer Döner

Leider war mein Besuch hier eine große Enttäuschung. Der Döner selbst war geschmacklich sehr schwach, insgesamt langweilig und qualitativ nicht überzeugend. Frische oder besondere Würzung konnte ich leider nicht feststellen. Zusätzlich irritierend war, dass mir eine Verpackungssteuer berechnet wurde, obwohl ich den Döner vor Ort auf dem Teller und ohne Verpackung erhalten habe. Auf Nachfrage konnte mir dazu keine klare oder nachvollziehbare Erklärung gegeben werden. Das hinterlässt einen sehr unangenehmen Eindruck, zumal solche Beträge korrekt ausgewiesen werden sollten. Besonders negativ fiel außerdem der Umgangston auf: Der Mitarbeiter wirkte unfreundlich und respektlos, was das ohnehin schlechte Gesamterlebnis weiter verschlechtert hat. Insgesamt leider eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung. Ich hatte mir deutlich mehr erwartet und kann den Laden in dieser Form nicht weiterempfehlen.

9,90€ für eine Döner? geschmacklich? Gewöhnlich ohne Pep einfach nur Langweilig Mitarbeiter: brauchten 20 - 30 Sekunden um mich als Kunden wahr zu nehmen.... Danach wurde meine Bestellung aufgenommen... aufgenommen..... nicht umgesetzt!!!! "Ohne Zwiebeln" war meine Bestellung.... setzen 6 Ganz ehrlich: das war das letzte Mal mit Döner bei Olivia in den Westarkarden!!!!! Macht einen Bogen um den Laden: zu teuer!!! Keinerlei Preis - Leistungs - Verhältnis!!!

Leider nur zwei Sterne. Die Preise sind sehr hoch (12,50€ für einen normalen Döner, Vegie 9 €) Wenn die Qualität immer gleich gut wäre, wäre es vielleicht noch gerecht. Aber mal bekommt man einen guten und mal einen weniger guten Döner. Je nachdem wer Arbeitet. Bei dem Preis ist eine gleichbleibende sehr gute Qualität angebracht...

Shino ist der beste sehr freundlich und macht seine Arbeit sehr gut und gerne.

Beim ersten Mal, als ich da war, war der Döner sehr lecker. Es war einer der besten, der sich je gegessen habe. Beim zweiten Mal. Allerdings war das Brot komplett zerstört. Unten war es auch offen. Die soße hat rausgetropft und es war sehr schlecht.

Good but expensive and really inconsistent. I usually get my pizzas here, and usually they're pretty good, sometimes even great and really tasty!!! but other times they burn them down to a crisp and/or serve them with literal holes in the dough (this has happened to me at least 3 times). Today I tried their Fladen Döner, and for the first time ever I couldn't finish it despite being really hungry. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the worst Döner I've had in my life. It was dry, some ingredients were straight bad, and the whole thing was messy af. It was also really expensive, even compared to other places in the city centre. It was a big disappointment. I'll keep getting my Pizzas there, because as I said, they can be really tasty!!! But I'd never recomend to get anything else here.

First, a pizza is forgotten, and then you have to wait for 45 minutes for it to be delivered. And the best part is, you get something like this delivered. See pictures! Not to mention, the pizza is freezing cold! After repeatedly asking by phone, the staff became rudely unfriendly and rude. To top it off, they hung up on me several times.

Two years ago, I wrote this review: “It's one of the few places where I enjoy eating döner, it's really good 👍🏼 I highly recommend it.” But now I've changed my mind; unfortunately, it's no longer as delicious as it was before.

An average spot, but good if you’re looking for a quick bite. The falafel, nuggets, and döner are decent enough to satisfy hunger, though nothing extraordinary. Convenient for a casual, on-the-go meal.

Never eaten such a bad kebab. Even one star is too much. Maybe for the fries, which at least were tasty. The falafel tasted strange, the beef was inedible, the bread was soft and anything but fresh. The same goes for the vegetables (including thick, dried-out, thick slices of cucumber). The sauce tasted of nothing. I doubt hygiene is a priority there. The high chair was completely dirty and sticky. I didn't put my child in it. Unfortunately, the staff didn't respond at all despite asking. The staff were very unfriendly anyway. To top it all off, one employee simply sat down at the table next to us and lit a cigarette, even though all the seats outside were free (which definitely doesn't surprise me). We were so disappointed and disgusted with the food (especially the meat) that we could only leave the food and leave. Vastly overpriced for the quality and service.

The doner meat in my doner box was really bad. It tasted like nothing, like horse meat. The meat felt like chewing gum, and the €9 it costs isn't worth it. This place is truly garbage.

It's NEVER 100% beef, it tastes so intensely of sheep or mutton, which wasn't the case in the past. A real shame.

You can eat excellent Jufka, doner kebabs, and pizza here. Always freshly prepared. If you want your Jufka spicy, they'll accommodate your request. A very nice and friendly team works at Olivia in the Westarkaden. We always enjoy going there.

We went there during our lunch break because it was close to work. I didn't particularly like it. The food was okay, and the service and ambiance were also decent. But I wouldn't go again.

I ordered a doner kebab with ayran. The seller immediately took my money, handling it with both gloved hands. Immediately afterward—without changing gloves or washing his hands—he prepared my doner kebab. He cut the meat raw from the skewer without frying or heating it. The preparation was accordingly unhygienic and unappetizing, and that's exactly how the doner tasted.

I had a chicken doner kebab for €8.90, which I find quite expensive. The beef one was even €9.90. The service was unfriendly, and what I found really annoying was that they served locals while everyone else had to pick up their food from the counter. I won't be going here again.

He just makes it too spicy without being to my liking. I didn't want it to be spicy and Yufka isn't made properly and the sauce is too little.

I really don't understand why the chicken yufka was burnt today, both the meat and the dough were completely burnt and very inedible. But sometimes it is very tasty. I think quality management should be improved.

Definitely my favorite kebab shop in Freiburg! Super tasty and fresh, good chicken and very tasty and light kebab sauce. I've been a regular here for a long time and have never been disappointed!

The falafel are bland, pre-made industrial thalers. The hummus tastes like nothing. The room is packed with crates of drinks and the benches on the walls are unpadded. Tinny sounding loud music is playing. I don't go there anymore.

After eating fries, you have a stomach ache and diarrhea for two days. Guess old grease. Was my last visit.

I don't understand how this restaurant has such a good rating. I don't want to harm the restaurant, just share my personal opinion about the food. I've eaten there about 6 times now and can say the following. For me personally, all meat dishes there are not edible. The chicken meat there is very strangely seasoned and doesn't fit together front and back. Before the owner the meat was more edible. On the other hand, I can highly recommend the pizzas there. Margherita, veggie pizzas and any other dough dish without meat. Olivia is also at the top in terms of price/performance. With a kebab price of €8.50, they are among the most expensive in Freiburg. I also think the Margherita pizza is very expensive at €10. At pretty much every Italian restaurant in Freiburg, the Margherita pizza costs less than €8 and the difference in quality is enormous. Overall, I still think it's a shame that such a meat mixture is for sale. I hope this will change in the future.

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to try the food, I ordered through Lieferando. I waited for over two hours, and in the end the order was marked as delivered in the app, but it didn't arrive. The driver was already near my address (you can track it via the app) and I have no idea what went wrong. I find it strange that you have to leave a phone number and it wasn't used to ask if there was any irritation (address). Very weak, will never use the service again.

Tastes fresh and delicious! The staff very polite and friendly. There is also something for (almost) every eating habit! Vegan, vegetarian, meat, wheat-free!

I have tried many kebab shops in Germany, but none come close to the quality and taste of Olivia Döner. The kebab is always fresh, tasty and perfectly seasoned. The meat is tender and juicy, and the side dishes are always fresh and crunchy. I think the friendly service is particularly great - there is often even home-made tea. The atmosphere in the store is cozy and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. I also noticed that they grill the kebab meat with coal. I can highly recommend this kebab shop and will definitely come back!”

I had a very tasty doner kebab here this evening. The guys behind it are very friendly and the food, as written, is very tasty. I got a free tea and a piece of baklava as a desert after the meal. Class

1 star is already too much for such rotten meat and €10 for it to break afterwards. Worst kebab I've ever eaten, not recommended.

Pretty rude service, we didn’t have to wait for a long time, but they make food without gloves… a bit pricey for a kebab place. If you don’t like smoke or smoking don’t sit outside, it stinks of smoking. Food is in big portions for me, the kebab overall was good. The plate - okay. If you like kebab and smoking and fast food it’s a place for you to try!

Everything is well done, but I don't like it when I'm sold a doner and the workers sit next to me at the table where I'm eating and start smoking cigarettes. Dunera is always fresh, but there is more to be desired for a 10 euro duner.

Danger. Get the bill and count it again and again! I politely pointed out to the owner at the checkout that he had overcharged, then I was told in very bad German that that couldn't be the case and that he always did everything right...after recalculating again, I got the overpaid amount Money back. Arrogant, without an apology 🤷🏻‍♂️ It would be nice if something could be improved.

Very friendly staff, the food was delicious (chicken foot with vegetables) and a tea with it. I was brought a second piece of pizza because mine was too small 😀🌻 (I didn't even notice 😁😀😀) I'd love to do it again next time I'm shopping 🌻
