nice Asian restaurant with good food and friendly people

The food is delicious and appears freshly prepared. For the prices, the portions are rather modest. Unfortunately, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unprofessional. The service is done individually for each plate. We repeatedly expressed a desire to pay and were ignored for a solid 40 minutes. Along with several other guests, we were only "allowed" to pay when we stood intrusively at the counter. Dishes weren't cleared. We didn't dare order dessert or more drinks. Yes, it was a Saturday night and the place was packed. But that can't really be surprising. And a friendly word and a sign that we weren't forgotten would have been enough. We won't be back.

The food was very good. Since it was very busy, we had to wait a relatively long time for our food. Half an hour after our arrival, more guests were seated at our table. Not everyone necessarily likes that, so I think it would be good to inform guests about this when making their reservation. However, we also noticed that guests who had reserved were unable to get a seat. The tables were not marked with reserved signs, so we couldn't understand how the guests were assigned to the respective tables. Nevertheless, we had a lovely evening with delicious food.

Despite reservations, we didn't get a seat. We were just met with “stupid behavior”.

Looking for a really good Japanese restaurant, we hit the mark with our choice of NORI. The ambience alone promises a special experience; apart from the usual dragon decorations of Asian restaurants, visitors can expect a modern house with colorful, yet economical decoration. The friendly welcome continues throughout the visit to a very committed service, unobtrusive and very competent. The menu leaves nothing to be desired and the dishes we selected met our full approval: everything was excellent. We recommend this restaurant without reservation.

The two of us ate sushi, the menu was relatively small, but there were many other dishes that we will try next time. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and you feel comfortable. The waiters were friendly, but in our opinion they could have come to the table more often.

Discovered by chance and found it to be really good. Fresh fish is used and we were in absolute sushi heaven. The Unagi Inside Outs were an absolute treat 😍

It was okay. There was a lot going on before an RB game and the crew did their best to serve the many guests well. The food was OK/good.

Attentive host, visually appealing and very tasty dishes. We, in our late 40s, felt at home among the much younger people.

It was a very nice trip to Leipzig Zoo and afterwards we found this nice Asian restaurant. It was super clean, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, the food was outstanding (I haven't had such a delicious Asian meal in a long time), whether it was a bowl, suchi or dessert. It was just an experience and if we didn't live so far away it would be at the top of our list. Thank you very much to the team, keep it up and hopefully see you soon!

Absolutely loved the food and staff were very kind and attentive! I can easily say that now it’s one of my favorite places in Leipzig ♥️ The only concern is that it is pricey, which means I would probably think twice about returning often :(

Food very greasy and only lukewarm. Service with basic friendliness and extremely overwhelmed. Had dinner with several people. While some got their food, others had to wait 20 minutes for the food to arrive. Sorry, but it doesn't work that way. Some have to eat so that it doesn't get completely cold, while the rest have to watch. We're definitely not coming back

Super nice restaurant! Service was very friendly, food was delicious, high quality and prepared with love, atmosphere was comfortably furnished in Japanese style. The one star deduction is for: 1. it took a long time until we could place the order + have drinks. Instead, drinks, starters and main courses came all at once... 2. it was pretty cool in our opinion. And 3. the prices are expensive and definitely in the upper price segment! Nevertheless, I'll come back ☺️🌸

A really great restaurant. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced (especially for sushi). The ambience makes you think of going to Japan without having the feeling of leaving Germany. Something more traditional and uniform would be appropriate. The conditions were very friendly and accommodating, even though you had to wait a long time for payment. But the food came very quickly and was beautifully prepared. However, the toilets could be cleaned again. All in all a very nice restaurant. I would love to go there again and can highly recommend it.

Super leckeres und frisches japanisches Essen! Tolle Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten! Aber auch Fleisch- und Fischesser kommen hier auf ihre Kosten! Im Sommer kann man hier auch sehr schön draußen sitzen.

Ich habe nur Vorspeisen gegessen, weil diese recht exklusiv sind. Besonders das OKONOMIYAKI ist absolut zu empfehlen. Es war alles sehr lecker. Der Service war auch voll in Ordnung. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist bei den Cocktails aid jeden Fall viel besser, als beim Bier. 😃

Wir waren zum Geburtstagsessen im Nori. Es war wunderbar. Das Essen geschmacklich sehr gut, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und allem in allem ein absolut gelungener Abend.

Uns hat der Zufall ins Nori gelotst, woanders war kein Platz. Vielen Dank an den Zufall und vor allem an das nette Team. Essen war super, wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, steht das Nori fest auf der Besuchsliste.

Gut gegessen, prima Service und dank Baustelle konnte man schön gemütlich draussen sitzen.

War heute Abend dort. Service sehr nett und aufmerksam, trotzdem nicht aufdringlich. Speisekarte übersichtlich und nicht überladen. Hatte gedämpfte Teigtaschen mit Garnelen und danach eine Poke- Lachs- Bowl. Alles sehr schmackhaft, sehr gute Qualität, frisch und zu sehr angemessenen und fairen Preisen. Meine Freundin hatte ebenfalls eine Bowl. Highlight war der asiatische Pfannkuchen als Vorspeise. Klingt langweilig, schmeckte aber ausgesprochen gut und nicht mit den Pfannkuchen/Eierkuchen zu vergleichen, die man so kennt. Ganz kleine Anmerkung: Bitte erst die Vorspeise aufessen lassen und abräumen, dann erst den Hauptgang servieren;). Ansonsten alles bestens. Wir kommen gern wieder und empfehlen uneingeschränkt weiter! P.S. Bitte hingehen, auch wenn die Waldstraße aktuell Baustelle ist. Die Läden dort leiden darunter schon genug:).

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal bei Okome essen und es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und flink. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Gerne wieder 😋

Wenn das mal nicht ein Geheimtipp ist. Tolle Location mit super Essen, netter Bedienung und tollem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir in Leipzig sind.

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant und sehr leckeres Essen. Immer frisch zubereitet und Preis/Leistung stimmt. Das essen wird auch sehr liebevoll angerichtet - das Auge ist ja bekanntlich mit. Wir gehen nun schon seit beinahe einem Jahr hier her und es ist jedes mal ein Genuss. Haben bereits unseren Stammplatz ;) Sehr freundliches und junges Personal.

Sehr gemütlich, nicht zu groß, hierdurch hier sehr angenehm und ein wirklich schönes Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Preis/Leistung-Verhältnis ist hier echt super. Ich hatte als Vorspeise die Frühlingsrollen und als Hauptspeise den Okome-Sushi-Teller. Den Namen von Nachtisch habe ich jetzt zwar jetzt vergessen, dieser war aber auch ziemlich lecker. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Tische am Eingangsbereich, dort ist es etwas frisch trotz Heizkörper und die defekte Klobrille. Ihr solltet diese bitte schnellstmöglich reparieren.

Das Essen war so lecker und zufriedenstellend! The only problem is just a little wait of time for serving but overall satisfaction. The staff are all very nice too!

Leckeres Essen, nettes Personal und ein schönes Ambiente

muss ehrlich heute sagen dass das Essen hier wirklich lecker ist.. sehr schnell und hoefliche Bedienung… freundich mit Kindern..das Ambiente ist schick und gemütlich…ich verstehe nicht diese unter schlechte Kommentare 🤷🏻‍♀️ erste Mal ist doch nicht letzte Mal auf jeden Fall 🤩 mach weiter so 👍🏻👍🏻

Das Essen schmeckt hier jedesmal einfach nur fabelhaft! Egal was, bis jetzt hat einfach alles immer sehr gut geschmeckt und ich war schon insgesamt 5 Mal hier :)
