Unfortunately I have to say that the quality has decreased massively for me. We've really enjoyed going to Okinii for years. Unfortunately, I don't like sushi myself, but I've always enjoyed the alternatives. I've been there twice this year and found the quality significantly worse both times compared to before. The food only tastes greasy, not very seasoned and bland. Some already cold, fried for too long and then some without sauce. The prices were raised again this year to €35 per person and the prices for the drinks have also become more expensive. Unfortunately it's no longer worth it for us. I hardly ate anything because it made me sick. I also found the narrowness of the tables uncomfortable. The people from the table next door could hardly get out without bumping into our table when they got up. But praise to the staff - everyone was very friendly, helpful and quick 👍🏼 The dessert was delicious (cheesecake) Maybe the quality will be worked on again. We would be happy about that.

Amir is a great person and serves you very well

Food is ok, nothing special. It's just too slow for me by all standards. Sometimes you wait 30 minutes for the rounds you ordered. (How should I estimate what arrived and what didn't in the 4th round?) We waited 20 minutes for the bill.

We had a great evening with delicious food and a very nice waitress named Raul. He was very accommodating and processed our order quickly. Just be aware that orders from the first round may not be served until the third round. Therefore, you should be very economical when ordering towards the end.

The food was delicious, but I was missing some of the usual sushi (futo maki avocado salmon, for example). But otherwise most of the food was tasty and there was a lot to choose from. What bothered me a bit was that you had to pay an extra charge for some dishes. It wasn't much, but given the price you're already paying, I thought it was a bit excessive. The service was mostly very nice and the drinks were good, but our cocktails weren't particularly tasty. But you also come for the food, so it's not so bad. All in all we had a nice evening and were able to enjoy it.

It really is an experience you pay for. Everything is in nice small quantities so you can try a bit of everything. You also get full really quickly. Everything is great. 👍🏻

In the beginning was not good, because we went to the wrong entrance and I had a bad conversation with one of the staff. After I wrote my first review, the manager came to talk to me. This was very nice. At least they care about what’s the customer thinks. This is the reason I changed my review.

Today we went to this Okinii for what feels like the 100th time and it remains our favorite. It's just great. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is top and we always try to make sure everyone is happy. You really do a lot. Today Raul was responsible for us, not for the first time either. Raul is always friendly and accommodating. Especially in Okinii I find acceptance for every person. No matter where you come from or who you are, whether customers or staff, everyone is accepted and tolerated.💕

Went there for the first time about 5 years ago. It wasn't world class there, but it was solid. We arrived today at 8:35 p.m. and you actually have 2 hours to order. When we were told at 9:35 p.m. that it was last order, I replied that the first round hadn't even been delivered yet. We then ordered up to the 4th round plus 5 rounds of desserts. After the food arrived at 9:45 p.m., all collected over 4 rounds at once, I have to say, the whole thing wasn't really comfortable anymore. When we wanted to pay, we still had 2 drinks from the other table on the bill and a drink that didn't arrive for over 30 minutes. So overall the Okinii was an absolute flop for us. I can really only advise against visiting the restaurant. So you definitely won't see us there again. I also told the waiter again that the whole thing was a complete disaster. I hope you can rip something else out of there. Unfortunately, if you read the other reviews, this doesn't seem to be an isolated case. greeting Daniel

We were at Okinii Media Harbor for my husband's 50th birthday. It was full, but there was a super helpful, courteous, attentive service person named Amir*****5. A spontaneous surprise was brought. Every restaurateur wants a staff like that!!!

The ordering system was an absolute disaster, 2 hours time for 8 rounds, 1 round arrived, we haven't been able to order for at least 45 minutes and no service person in sight... The money, the visit is not worth it, for over 100€ 3 people somewhere more than full.... Oh yes, we were there for the first and last time...

My boyfriend and me went here for diner for our 3 year anniversary. We got to choose where we wanted to sit. Our table was cleaned before we sat down. The food was good and the staff was very kind and joyful. Especially our waiter, Raul, had such a positive energy and explained everything with a smile on their face. They forgot one of our deserts, but when we mentioned this to Raul, he brought it to us quickly. It's smart to make a reservation in advance, because we were there on a Tuesday night and it was quite full.

Very clean, very good service, come several times a year

Delicious Very nice staff and apart from a slightly noisy environment everything was perfect. Whether as a couple or in a group, it doesn't matter. It was a pleasure and I would love to go back again and again. Just don't order too much too quickly or all you can eat can become too much. :) Since the toilets are in the basement, it is not possible to reach them if you have limited mobility. The best place to park is in the parking garage at the beginning of the street. This costs three to five euros.

Zum 1. Mal waren wir alle 3 im Okinii in Düsseldorf/ Medienhafen. Der Service war extrem schlecht. Zu Beginn warteten wir lange am Tisch ohne Karten auf dem Tisch zu haben. Als der Keller kam , dachten wir, dass wir Tablets erhalten würden. Relativ kompliziert bis man das Menü auswählen konnte. Vorher wurde einem direkt das teuerer Abendpaket vom Kellner angeboten obwohl wir mitten in der Mittagszeit dort waren. Auf unserem Handy war das Bestellen etwas umständlich. Schon wieder wurden Extras angezeigt, die kostenpflichtig waren, obwohl es All you can eat war. Nach einer Weile kam der Keller mit einem Teller und 2 Sushis an. Das Essen kam sehr langsam und alle Teller stapelten sich auf dem Tisch der nicht abgeräumt wurde. Was für ein Chaos. Wir bestellten die Rechnung und es dauerte ewig so dass wir irgendwann aufgestanden sind und zur Kasse gingen. Es gab keinen Nachtisch, wir haben frittiertes Raffelo bestellt gegen eine Aufpreis es war ekelig. Es gibt viele bessere all you can eat Sushi Restaurants. Okikini das Erste und letzte Mal.

You can definitely get a ton of food and it's good, price worthy and in a really nice area.

Really always delicious. Sometimes an order gets lost but you can tell the waiters and everything always works out great.

It's a hefty price to pay for the evening menu, but very good and you have 2 hours. Afterwards everyone should be full of sushi and the like.

On Saturday evening we reserved a table for 2 people online in advance. On weekends you should always make a reservation to avoid a long waiting time. Short and crisp introduction (we are already familiar with the restaurant and how it works) We were mainly served by RAUL, who not only stands out because of his appearance/style but also because of his nice and friendly manner. We were in the restaurant today as a small group and initially received a very good welcome and friendly service. The food was okay, although the quality was down compared to previous visits. Nevertheless, our experience up to that point was pleasant. The problem started when we wanted separate bills. This led to lengthy and unnecessary discussions with staff. We had to explain several times why we wanted to pay separately. The situation escalated when my tone became more explicit due to the repeated misunderstandings. A supposedly new employee, who was standing at the back of the restaurant, then called me an “aggressive guy.” This insult was inappropriate enough, but what followed was even more shocking: the waitress in question began whispering and gossiping about us along with another waiter. This behavior was not only extremely unprofessional, but also extremely unpleasant and rude for us as customers. How can an employee make such derogatory comments to paying guests? Such behavior is unacceptable and reflects an appallingly poor level of customer service. It is unfortunate that our visit ended this way and we cannot recommend the restaurant under the circumstances. If this behavior is not stopped immediately and appropriate measures are taken against the responsible employees, we strongly doubt that this restaurant can survive in the long term. Customers expect respect and professionalism, neither of which were present during our visit.

Great location. We know Okinii and have just been to the branch in Medienhafen. Significantly more space as usual, the food and service as usual very good!! Orders are placed using the QR code and are delivered fresh to the table.

Unfortunately, we were unable to redeem the vouchers we received in time. No goodwill arrangement was offered either. Legally it's okay, just collecting money and not getting anything in return, it's questionable whether it's good for the business. Hopefully many customers read this review. An offer came for €20, €70 was paid for the vouchers, and I was also supposed to send in the old vouchers and pay for the postage and envelope and then take them to the post office. I politely declined. Based on the feedback there is one more star.

This was our 2nd time we ate here and this time it was better than before! Very friendly and hard working staff, all the food was freshly made and great cocktails. The hospitality is awesome with a lot of attention for the custmer and their needs! My wife and I had a great time, we enjoyed the good food and the talks with the staff. The last time it was Rauol whom looked after us but this time it was Looma (hope I spelled your name rigth! 😅) Thanks for everything guys and see you the next time!

Leider konnten wir die erhaltenen Gutscheine nicht rechtzeitig einlösen. Es wurde auch keine Kulanzregelung angeboten. Rechtlich ist es okay, nur Geld kassieren und keine Gegenleistung ist fraglich ob es gut für das Geschäft ist. Hoffentlich lesen fiese Bewertung viele Kunden. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Very pleasant atmosphere with a relaxing atmosphere. The homemade lemonades are really first class. The service is fast, relaxed and friendly. We felt like we were in good hands with Raul ;) Would love to come back.

I visited the okinii all you can eat Japan Restaurant and was unfortunately disappointed. There are definitely better options for the price. The food was often queued and not of the best quality. I've been to many places in my enchanting life, but none have pleased me as much as the Okinii at the Medienhafen in Düsseldorf. For this reason I've been there twice in the last few months!!💁🏼‍♀️ The excellent food tasted even better thanks to the very attentive, helpful and humorous waiters. Thanks to other recommendations from my friends, I was really looking forward to the waiters Jolina, Schadlin and Finn, who, luckily for me, were also able to serve me 🎉 So all in all an unforgettable taste experience!! 💓

I was expecting more . The Sushi rice was bad, the sushi was like those ones that you buy at supermarket. The fried food was good, but not so special, mostly had no taste. I love Asian food and I eat it in many cities that I visit. And this one was the less good until now .The good thing of this restaurant is the dessert . I would not return .
