Authentische, sehr leckere thailändische Küche zu sehr fairen Preisen

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und der Service ist sehr freundlich. Was jedoch zu bemängeln ist: Zwei andere Tische waren schon vor uns da und wurden, bis wir selbst komplett fertig waren, offenbar vergessen. Die Gäste hatten auch mehrfach nachgefragt, was mit ihrem Essen sei, jedoch wurde dies leider komplett vergessen. Ein weiterer Punkt, der auch ausschlaggebend für unsere Bewertung ist, betrifft das Essen. Wir waren bereits zweimal dort und bei beiden Besuchen war das Essen komplett versalzen und dadurch kaum essbar. Die Getränke waren wiederum sehr genussvoll. Wir hatten beide einen Thai Tee und dieser schmeckte sehr erfrischend.

Dieser Milchreis wurde mit gefrorenem Hackfleisch aus dem Supermarkt zubereitet. Nach dem Anbraten sammelte sich viel Wasser am Boden, und Hackfleisch und Blutschaum traten aus. Es schmeckte nach Schweineleber, einfach widerlich. Es gab fast keine Beilagen. Es war furchtbar. Kein Koch kann so etwas Ekelhaftes zubereiten.

Super Lage und angenehme Atmosphäre drin! Ich war mit meiner Freundin spontan Samstag etwas essen und trinken. Die Bedienung war mega freundlich, meine Bestellung wurde schnell geliefert. Sehr zufrieden und komme gerne bald wieder!

Das beste und authentischste thailändische Essen, das ich je außerhalb Thailands gegessen habe. Das Ambiente ist einfach wunderschön: die beruhigende Musik, die Holzvertäfelung, die Tempelkunst an den Wänden. 10/10.

Sie servieren authentische thailändische Küche. Bei der Bestellung können Sie darum bitten, dass das Essen genauso scharf gewürzt wird wie in Thailand. Andernfalls erhalten Sie möglicherweise die etwas abgewandelte, an Ausländer angepasste Variante, die zwar auch lecker ist, aber nicht dem Original entspricht. (Nicht alle thailändischen Gerichte sind scharf.)

Ich wartete 15 Minuten, und niemand kam, um meine Bestellung aufzunehmen. Ich war so wütend, dass ich das Restaurant verließ.

Die Kellnerinnen waren so unhöflich und hatten keinerlei Manieren, besonders die ältere Dame, die mich und meine Freunde ständig mit einem unfreundlichen Blick anstarrte. Trotzdem gab ich Trinkgeld, aber sie ging einfach weg, ohne etwas zu sagen! Ein wirklich unhöfliches Restaurant mit schlechter Atmosphäre!

Wir waren mittags dort, Atmosphäre nett. Das Essen kam sehr schnell: ein rotes Curry mit Rind, relativ dünn und für thailändische Verhältnisse nicht wirklich scharf. Die knusprige Ente mit Mango (ein kleines Schälchen mit Chutney, dafür 7 Euro teurer als mit Ananas) fanden wir zu trocken. Die junge Dame im Service war nett, die ältere naja.

Dieses Restaurant ist ein absolutes Muss für alle Liebhaber der thailändischen Küche! Die Auswahl, der Geschmack und das gesamte Erlebnis sind einfach perfekt. Sie besitzen sogar ein Zertifikat des thailändischen Handelsministeriums, das die Authentizität der thailändischen Küche bestätigt. Von außen wirkt es wie ein ganz normales Restaurant, doch sobald man eintritt, fühlt man sich wie in einer anderen Welt. Das Restaurant ist im Stil thailändischer Strandhütten gestaltet, bietet aber auch ganz normale Tische und Stühle. Die Atmosphäre ist einfach großartig. Wir hatten reserviert, kamen aber eine Stunde zu früh. Da das Restaurant ausgebucht war, wurden wir gebeten, zur ursprünglichen Zeit wiederzukommen. Nur zehn Minuten später riefen sie an und teilten uns mit, dass ein Tisch frei geworden war und wir gerne wiederkommen könnten. Was für ein Service! Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich, und jedes Gericht sieht köstlicher aus als das andere. Die Preise sind ebenfalls angemessen: Hauptgerichte kosten zwischen 16 und 25 Euro, einige Gerichte um die 35 Euro.

Der Service ist sehr unfreundlich, sie macht den Aufenthalt unangenehm.

Die Atmosphäre war sehr authentisch. Wir saßen in einem Bereich, mit Kissen und Bodenteppich. Das war sehr interessant. Der Service war an sich okay. Aber wir haben einmal extra Reis, mit der Hauptspeise bestellt. Also einen für 2 Personen, um ihn mit dem Gericht zu vermengen. Der kam leider nicht, dann haben wir daran erinnert, allerdings kamen dann 2 Portionen. Wir hebe gedacht, das sei einfach eine für 2 Personen, wäre ja nett gewesen. Auf der Rechnung standen dann 3 Portionen 😅😅. Für 5€ wollten wir dann kein Fass aufmachen, da wir auch schon bezahlt haben. Dennoch etwas ärgerlich. Das Essen war okay, aber nichts spezielles!

Authentisches thailändisches Restaurant. Wir sind spontan dort eingekehrt und konnten den Sitzplatz direkt an der Theke haben. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auch freundlich bedient. Das Essen war hervorragend.

We love eating here during the Christmas market, which we've been visiting for several years now. The food is delicious, fresh, and run by a lovely family.

There were five of us who spontaneously decided to go there, and apart from the red curry, we were satisfied. The curry was very thin and didn't taste authentic. Perhaps it will be better next time. The staff were okay overall, but could have been friendlier. Otherwise, recommended.

Our visit to this restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. Some of the dishes we ordered were served completely without sauce. When we asked about it, we were simply told that it wasn't possible to get any sauce – without any further explanation or suggestion of a solution. The staff were also extremely unfriendly and reacted to our feedback with visible annoyance. In addition, the food lacked any vegetables that one would normally expect in a Chinese restaurant. The worst part, however, was that we suffered from stomach problems and severe bloating after our visit. Overall, the experience was very unsatisfactory, and we will definitely not be returning.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was disappointing. The portion was too small for me to feel truly satisfied, and the taste was also underwhelming. What was particularly bothersome was the complete lack of sauce, which made the dish taste very dry. The hospitality also left much to be desired. When I politely asked for an extra sauce—which I would have been willing to pay extra for—I received only a curt "No, that's not possible." It seems they don't cater to individual requests. Furthermore, I felt unwell after the meal and had severe stomach pains. I can't say for sure whether this was related to the food, but the overall impression was so negative that I don't intend to eat there again.

The food is just ok if you’re looking for authentic Thai food. They make it to fit the general public rather than focusing on the authenticity. The server is very good, perfect location in Düsseldorf altstadt as well. Overall a good experience, I’m glad I tried. The bill was 100€ including tips for 2. You can get much more authentic Thai food elsewhere for less. I liked it but not too impressed by the food. Everything else was very good!

I visited to the restaurant afternoon. THERE ARE indisposed attitude's waitress. Forcing to order more the drink and urge I and my friends to what do we order. Indeed, I did not require to clear up my dish plate, she took it without any asking.

We were here on Thursday at lunchtime and tried the lunch menu for an incredible €13.50. For that price, you get a starter, main course, and dessert, all of the same high quality as in the evening. Very tasty, authentic, with friendly service in a lovely atmosphere. Absolutely recommended! We'll be back soon in the evening and are already looking forward to it. I can only shake my head at some of the reviews here – anyone who can't tell Thai and Vietnamese apart is beyond help, and the same goes for anyone who asks for chopsticks when eating Thai food.

Really delicious, very good Thai cuisine in a central location right on Carlsplatz. You can often get a table even without a reservation.

I've been to Thailand three times and have really missed authentic Thai food back home in Germany. Tonight I went there with a Thai friend and I have to say it couldn't be more authentic. Great atmosphere, perfect Thai food, and very attentive Thai service. And for everyone complaining in the reviews that it's too spicy, A) people who can speak can be helped, and B) authentic Thai food is spicy. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

A very, very beautifully decorated restaurant, and the ambiance is simply wonderful. There are numerous seating options, and the selection of dishes is very well-balanced. The menu isn't too large, but not too small either. The food itself is also excellent, and you get decent portions for the price! The service is also fantastic. The staff are all Thai, and they are kind and exceptionally friendly.

On a cold, rainy day, this place appeared in front of us out of nowhere, as an oasis to warm our shivering souls. We barged into it without any reservation and got treated to probably the best Thai food on the continent. Cooked steaming fresh, and to Thai flavorful perfection, it is a place that should not be missed. The tastes lingers on ones tongue even days after the experience. A high praise, given that it comes from someone who has tasted the cuisine in the Thai land probably a dozen times.

The best Tom Ka Gai soup of my life and exquisite satay skewers. The staff is very friendly. I'd gladly return.

We recently visited Baan Thai on Berger Straße in Düsseldorf and had a wonderful evening. For starters, we had vegetarian spring rolls that were perfectly crispy and deliciously seasoned. For main courses, we tried various duck dishes from the menu, which were outstanding both in taste and presentation. The flavors were finely balanced, and the quality of the ingredients was impressive. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was pleasant and inviting. Overall, a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine! We will definitely be back.

Buy the sate a bit expensive but if you order the right thing it is delicious and worth it

In my opinion, these dishes were too spicy for Thai food, as the spiciness overpowered the typical Thai flavors. I also found it odd that we were provided with European cutlery and had to ask for chopsticks – I'm more used to the opposite in Asian restaurants. Aside from the excessive spiciness, the food was delicious, the atmosphere pleasant, and the service attentive.

Best Thai food I have ever tasted in Europe. The food was made really fast and was served in an instant. The food is authentic, fresh, and extremely flavorful. And as a Thai person who hasn't eaten much besides bread, this was a much needed break from the food in Germany. I highly recommend the SomTam if you are looking for something refreshing, and the TomYam if you want something spicy. The workers are extremely friendly though I could tell they weren't fluent in German and were more eager to serve in silence. They also cleared our dishes quick when we asked them to.

The food is tasty and suits my personal preferences. Of course, it's not exactly like being in Thailand – I've been there and experienced the authentic flavors, so I can tell the difference – but the dishes here are still very enjoyable. The spices are balanced, and the presentation is quite nice. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. The place is clean and has a comfortable atmosphere. I do think the prices are a bit on the higher side for the portion size, especially when it comes to the amount of meat – a little more would be appreciated. That said, the flavor makes up for it, and I would consider coming back again because it really matches my taste.

More show than substance. Looks great. Clean. Tidy. Food: generous menu, special requests no problem. Portion size: rather limited. Taste: okay... sachet of gravy, a few peppercorns added. That's it. My wife: fried rice... taste: nothing special. Okay... dessert should make up for it. Too bad: sweet sticky rice was salty, a bit of coconut sauce on top... canned mango on the side. Sorry. I love this restaurant and have been a loyal customer for years. I've never been disappointed here and I'm always happy to return. However, I'd like to make a small but important constructive comment here, which I've experienced several times. When we ask for the bill, the woman – presumably a middle-aged family member – regularly comes to the table with just a white sheet of paper and a pen and simply writes down the total amount by hand. We are then expected to pay this amount directly in cash or by card. We find this extremely unpleasant every time, because when it comes to the bill, we want to be able to see exactly what we consumed, how the individual items were calculated, and how the final amount is calculated. It's tedious to have to ask for a proper receipt or a complete bill every time and then wait for it. In a professional establishment, it should be a given that the bill is brought directly to the table in full and transparently, without the guest having to specifically request it. In many other countries, this kind of procedure, involving handwritten amounts on blank paper, would be completely unusual and not in keeping with the professional standards of an otherwise excellent restaurant. Therefore, I would like to expressly note this as well-intentioned feedback. I hope this comment will be received positively and that this process will improve in the future.

We spontaneously visited this restaurant at lunchtime. We sat outside because of the nice weather. The staff is very polite and attentive. The lunch menu for €13.50 is highly recommended. I opted for the chicken soup with coconut milk and sweet and sour duck. It was delicious. And for dessert, there was a scoop of ice cream with whipped cream. We'd be happy to come back.

We can only recommend this restaurant, very tasty food, both the starters and the main courses were very good and super tasty, very good and friendly, courteous service, nice rooms.

Das Essen ist nicht sehr besonders und nicht so schön angerichtet. Vor allem verstehe ich die Cocktailkirsche und die Dosenananas nicht. Das ältere weibliche Personal war nicht gerade freundlich. Außenbestuhlung direkt in der Fußgängerzone und etwas ungemütlich.

Nothing like that has happened to us yet. Went there for lunch on Friday. Good selection, a good price and really VERY tasty food and friendly service. BUT... we barely made it home with stomach pains and bloating on the way and a long uncomfortable session at home in the quiet place. I was there with my son and we had completely different food and didn't try each other's. And still both have the same problem after eating. Spoiled or very excessive use of flavor enhancers and additives? We won't test it again because it was really unpleasant.

We went there for dinner. The food was not authentic, Thai curry was watery and the meat was so less, not worth the money. The staff was very rude and intimidating, they served the food without saying a word and with such rudeness. The moment we were done eating, they took the plate away as if they were happy to get rid of you. We didn't feel welcome in this place, not to mention that the taste of the food is similar to a take away snack. The atmosphere was nice though but that's it. Never again!

Were regular guests on site at least once a week. The food is 99% very good (sometimes not so great) but unfortunately the service is always not that special. Unfortunately, one thing remains in my memory and was no longer there afterwards. I went outside to smoke and my wife met me in the bar, they came running after me wildly and loudly saying that I hadn't been paid. Absolutely disgraceful

Great Thai place with correct polite service and good food. I had the Green curry, very nice and just about right on the spicyness. Fried banana balls for dessert, not too sweet. Much to choose from in the menu!

Went for lunch, price of the menu is actually low, unfortunately such is the quality of food (maybe we were unlucky though). Rudeness of the staff is something else though, not a “hello”, “thank you”, or any whatsoever form of courtesy. Only positive note, the silent and quite atmosphere.

Banish sticky rice and dessert that takes 20-30 minutes. The waitress said OK: It is noted: She asked about the main course. Now for dessert? We said yes. And each ordered a cocktail. Note the wrong one. I brought it up and also because of the politeness. I It's okay... Then she asked again if we wanted dessert. We said yes. . With the note it takes 20-30 minutes. You: yes After a short time we got a banana/glutinous rice.. We thought.. The rest will come soon. After 30 minutes they wanted to clear our table. We said: We'll actually get something else. People looked at us blankly. And asked us three times if they should do it now. Our answer every time was no! At this point we were on edge. There was no apology or anything. We then got up mad and paid. 76.30 € when we understood while waiting that we weren't giving tips. She apologized for the long wait. Then we politely expressed our displeasure. Waited unnecessarily for 40 minutes for something to be ordered and didn't get a response from them that was just a shrug of the shoulders Conclusion 2 people who came from Mönchengladbach are totally frustrated when they go home! Very unfortunate.

We really enjoyed the Vietnamese food – it was super tasty! The starters also tasted good, but were a bit too greasy. The service was friendly and quick, and we really liked the ambience.

We spontaneously ate here for the first time today. We didn't have a reservation. We were not greeted with typical Thai hospitality. The food arrived lukewarm. A dish should be particularly spicy. Unfortunately this was not the case. Chilli was brought later. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant. There are much better Thai restaurants.

Nach 84 Thailand Reisen kann ich beurteilen das es in diesem Restaurant wirklich gutes und thailändisches Essen gibt. Das Ambiente ist altbacken und ist wirklich überholt und kann mal modernisiert werden. Aber mein Hauptanliegen ist authentisches Thai Essen. Wer das Essen in diesem Restaurant schlecht bewertet, soll besser zum Chinesen gehen. Auch wer überschwängliches Chi Chi sucht geht besser zum Italiener.
