Genki Sushi Restaurant in Düsseldorf

I ordered a sushi XXL plate for €99.90, which according to the description should be enough for four people. In reality, however, it was only enough for three people - and only just. For a record that costs almost €100, I expected a lot more. In addition, there is a minimum order value of €100. That means I had to order something extra just to be able to order at all. I find that to be not very customer-friendly. On top of that, a delivery fee of €15 was charged, which in my opinion is really excessive - especially with such a high order value. But what really annoyed me was that neither soy sauce nor chopsticks were included. With a sushi delivery service, I expect at least these basic things to be included automatically - especially for such an expensive order. So I had to improvise myself, even though I paid to have a high-quality sushi experience delivered to my home. In total the order cost me €120 - and the price-performance ratio was simply disappointing. For this amount I would have gotten significantly more from other providers: larger portions, better service and all the basics like sauce and sticks included. To be honest, I'm pretty annoyed and probably won't order there again. It's a shame - I really hoped for more.

With the largest sushi and side dish selection for a sushi delivery service in Düsseldorf! The selection of food at Genki is truly second to none, whether it's sushi, side dishes, salads, etc. the selection is really big! The portions and the price/performance ratio are very good here and there is really nothing to complain about in terms of taste, on the contrary, the food was delicious! CONS: Unfortunately, the warm sushi was completely cold upon delivery and the salad on which the sushi was served was soggy and stuck uncomfortably to the sushi. Overall 9/10 and we will definitely order again!

Doesn't deliver even though it says so on the website. 3 km was too far for them.

I ordered only 5-6 type of sushi and choose to pick up after one hour. The order has been rejected due to there is no enough time to prepare. It took me such a long time to choose. So If you can't offer anything, then please close your store at that time point on the delivery App.

The sushi was fantastic! It arrived incredibly quickly, still warm and absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, and the quality was excellent. I’m super impressed with the service and can’t wait to order again. Highly recommended!

It's a shame that the opening hours are until 10 p.m. (it's also written on the door for Monday - Friday) and then it's already closed at 8:30 p.m. Travel completely free, thank you very much.

I have ordered at least more than 6 times from this place and the sushi is good; but this last time the service was really bad. They said it would take 60 minutes for a delivery and it took them 85 minutes. When I wrote asking them when the food would arrive after 75 minutes, they never answered. Also what was most upsetting is that in my order they forgot to bring my Avocado Maki and also there was just silence; no oh we are sorry. Very disappointing.

We order sushi through a delivery service at least once a week, and I can say with certainty that it is the best sushi you can get in all of Düsseldorf. The quality of the ingredients is always excellent, the fish is fresh and the rolls are prepared with great attention to detail. Delivery is always on time and the sushi arrives in perfect condition. The customer service is friendly and accommodating. We are completely satisfied and look forward to our sushi order every time. Absolutely recommended!

This is one of my favorite take-away Japanese options in Oberkassel. Packed with care, very clean and even good looking. Maki, combo-sushi boxes, Sakura chicken, Genki Karaage Bowl, fries, etc. - all very delicious! I think the rating reflected by previous users is a little unfair as they refer to undelivered goods but which cannot be narrowed down to the restaurant itself but rather the platform where the food was ordered.
