A nice place in the center of Stuttgart, good beer, nice atmosphere and typical German cuisine.

Great atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly, but a bit rushed because it was very busy. We would have had another drink, but after the meal, we didn't need it. I would still go again.

We spontaneously stopped by Ochsen Willi for dinner today. The restaurant is very comfortably furnished. Unfortunately, it was a bit cold at our table. The food was ready within a few minutes. There's a wide selection of dishes. Unfortunately, many of the dishes were missing vegetables and salad. I ordered the Swabian knuckle of meat. The portion was large and, at €19.80, quite expensive. There was no salad or vegetables with it. I enjoyed the food, but it was simply too expensive. You can eat much cheaper elsewhere for the same quality. The drinks were also significantly more expensive than we usually pay for eating out.

The food isn't bad. A bit expensive, but okay. The ambiance is also appropriately reminiscent of a Swabian restaurant. Unfortunately, card payments are only possible for amounts over €50, and this isn't indicated.

Food and service was good. Me and my friend were out at a table where we had to sit beside each other and the seating was curved and made it a little difficult to hold a conversation. Otherwise it was good. I think we were just unlucky because it was the only table like it that I noticed.

The service was excellent, and the meal was fantastic. If you don't like bread, you can ask the waiter for fries instead. Note: There is definitely a minimum order, though I'm not sure how it's calculated. The waiter said our table of two, at 34.9 euros, already met the minimum order. In addition, the bill showed a 3.7 euro seat charge (cover charge) for our table, which wasn't a tip. I added the tip, bringing the total to 38 euros.

My family recently came to Germany to visit me and get to know the country. Unfortunately, we had almost exclusively disappointing experiences with the service: many people were quite rude, impatient, as my family doesn't speak German, and so on. My family is very friendly and smiles a lot, and even when I was there and ordered in German, we were treated poorly in many places. However, on the last day of their stay, we were "saved" by Elias/Eliseu (unfortunately, I don't remember his exact name). An incredibly friendly young man finally made my family's visit a beautiful and pleasant experience. I am very grateful for that – the food was excellent, the service was fast, and we were treated like royalty. I highly recommend this restaurant! Anyone who wants to experience German cuisine and visit a beautiful place should definitely go there. Many thanks to the whole team!

My second question: Can you customize the main courses on the menu for an additional charge? The answer now: Do you want a blowjob with that? Don't come here if you followed Xiaohongshu!!! The middle-aged male waiter outside kept coming back to ask us to order, repeatedly, so we didn't even have time to read the menu properly. He was also incredibly impatient and rude when it came time to pay. This restaurant also requires you to order main courses based on the number of people, and if you don't order enough, you'll be charged a "plate fee," which is unheard of. The five of us ordered four main courses, plus appetizers and desserts. The roast pork knuckle was incredibly greasy!!! We couldn't finish any of the plates, and we couldn't finish the fried pork cutlet either... We ordered six beers. Since we hadn't tried one of the dark beers, one of our friends asked for an extra glass to share, but the rude waiter said no, sharing isn't allowed. Holy crap!

You guys are crazy. We just ordered here for the first time via Wolt. Haxe, potatoes with fillet tips, and the TRIAL PORTION of ribs, with roasted potatoes. What arrived? An absolutely gigantic, crispy, super-warm ham hock that smelled so good, a super-large portion of fillet tips and potatoes, a huge, delicious dumpling, endless sauce, awesome roasted potatoes, and your trial portion was more like a full portion of ribs. The food was truly excellent. Great spare ribs, truly fantastic cheese spaetzle, and the beer was nice and cold and sparkling. Unfortunately, our server was really grumpy. She also forgot a few things, and we had to keep asking... The other servers seemed much nicer, despite the same workload (which was already immense, so you can forgive some of it, but it was simply inappropriate). The food and the atmosphere were so good that I'm only deducting one star for that. I'll definitely come back, but I'll probably sit in a different area.

The food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the soup, but the pork knuckle was average. The skin was crispy, but the meat itself was a bit dry. The indoor dining room had great services and a nice decor.

We reserved a keg on Sunday evening because we were drawn to this original idea and the ambiance. After being given the number of a keg that was already occupied, we were allowed to choose one from the remaining kegs. This keg contained both empty pepper and salt shakers, which we pushed forward. The waiter ignored this while serving the drinks, but we verbally pointed it out to him. After the dishes were served, no one came for a while. Late in the evening—when the first dishes had been completely consumed—we were asked if everyone was satisfied. The table was cleared promptly, but then no one came for over 40 minutes—despite the reminder that we were happy to pay. At that point, we would have expected someone to appear within the next 5-10 minutes. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy at the time, and there were several waiters working. We would have preferred better service and would not visit the restaurant again.

By far the best restaurant on the entire Königstraße. From the train station to the small Schlossplatz square in Stuttgart, you'll find nothing but overpriced pasta, doner kebabs, vegetarian bowls, falafel, and the like... ...Here you'll find delicious, home-style cooking at fair prices, and in the afternoons, a daily special with a changing menu featuring starters and salads for under €15. Children are welcome and are provided with crayons and gummy bears. The second beer garden behind the restaurant is a great place to linger, and the large barrels are incredibly cozy to sit in – right in the heart of the bustling city center. The food at Ochsn Willi was delicious and of high quality—there's nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, this positive impression was significantly dampened by the extremely disappointing service. The staff was unfriendly, at times rude, and clearly disrespectful to the guests. This kind of guest treatment is unacceptable in the restaurant industry and leaves a lasting negative impression. While the manager personally apologized for her staff's behavior afterward, which is commendable, the overall experience remains highly negative.
