We have reserved a table and are now standing in front of a closed restaurant!

Reserved a table online and then it was closed. I think it's a disgrace that reservations are even possible when it's closed.

According to Google it was open and you could also reserve a table online. When we got there, we unfortunately discovered that the restaurant was closed. There was no information anywhere. Too bad.

Trotz Reservierung mit Bestätigungsmail war geschlossen. Samstags abends ist es dann problematisch was anderes zu finden. Nie wieder!

Great fish restaurant - very nice service

Lokal überraschend klein, Wirt überraschend nett und freundlich und das Essen erste Klasse! Wer gutes Essen mag, sollte mal reinschauen, es lohnt sich.

Very tasty and well presented food

There were 4 of us there. Of the 2, the food was very good. And 2 had the fish platter, which was very salty and the fish was very dry.

As with so many places in Hamburg, you shouldn't judge based on the outside. We were warmly welcomed and served. There was immediately romantic candlelight for both of us in front of the menu. The large portions of spaghetti carbonara with very good parmesan were excellent.

Food was delicious 😋 I'm here with my family and I really enjoy it recommend. The portions are large and filling. The staff is very entertaining and nice. Is small and cozy. Food was served quickly. Good 5 stars deserved.

The operators/waiters are very friendly and the food is really well prepared. The location alone can be criticized, but you have to note that it is located directly on the jetties and is therefore very central

The Ocean restaurant was an absolute highlight during my stay in Hamburg! The food was simply fantastic, without a doubt the best I've enjoyed in the city. The dishes are beautifully prepared and taste simply excellent. The service staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The fish was very tasty. Quite small inside but cozy. You can see directly how the food is prepared. Before that comes an amuse gueule, also very tasty. The only thing to complain about is the lack of fish cutlery.

It was really great. Went there as a family with our 4 year old daughter, who even got ice cream as a gift. The gentleman from Nepal who served us was really super nice!! Food and fish for two people was an absolute highlight.

An inconspicuous restaurant directly under the Landungsbrücken subway station. We were thrilled with the food. From the starter (bruschetta) to the main course, everything was fantastic. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly Recommended.

I can't say anything about the food but I don't need to. Anyone who takes €2 for an emergency and is so unfriendly will not see us as a customer.

For 19.-- my friend got a frozen schnitzel including breading. My salad only consisted of iceberg, tomatoes and cucumbers, some ham and tasteless cheese for a whopping 14 - that's what I call a rip off.

My first visit to a restaurant and I was extremely disappointed. The staff gave the impression that they had no interest in their work at all. It took 20 minutes for the first order to be taken, even though the restaurant wasn't even fully booked yet. In addition, it was absolutely overwhelmed, unfriendly and the drinks were unfortunately warm. Orders were taken, but processed incorrectly, so half were missing. The food was quite good.

Small but nice! A small, cozy restaurant with a location right on the harbor and very easy to reach by subway etc. We each ate a steak with a side salad and potatoes. As a kind of starter there was bread with garlic dip, which we both really enjoyed. The steak was excellent, very juicy and just like a good steak should be! The potatoes were a good mix of crispy and juicy. The side salad matched the other dishes on the plate and tasted very good. The prices are reasonable. The service was incredibly polite and accommodating. He always kept an eye on the guests and regularly asked if everything was okay. We were warmly welcomed and escorted straight to our table. Our food arrived after a short time! highly recommended!!!☆☆☆☆☆

Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. There are very few seats inside, there are more outside. First of all you get aioli with baguette.

The food was excellent here, the employees are somehow controlled by others. Do their job without motivation. You are just one less customer than a guest.

We found the restaurant by chance online and it was a great experience. Food was great, service was super friendly and the price was justified. If you are prepared for the space available, it is an absolute recommendation.

Very nice service, we received good advice and we felt very comfortable here in the small restaurant. The food came very quickly and was very tasty. I come from Frankfurt and would come here again and again.

Nice haring but service very unfriendly

While planning this past weekend, I remembered how much I enjoyed it here eleven years ago. That's why I really wanted to eat here again on Sunday and what can I say? I was absolutely not disappointed. Even the dip for the starter was so incredibly good. Not to mention the main course. I would eat here again every time I visit Hamburg and would ideally give it 10 stars.

At first sight the restaurant seemed casual, but I had a really good meal. The pikeperch was absolutely delicious, and the sides were also really good and tasty. The place is a bit hidden, but totally worth it

The panfish with three kinds of fish is highly recommended. The Dijon mustard sauce and the side salad gave the impression that the sauces and dips were homemade and the taste was very good. The Ocean Burger is good, but nothing exceptional. The location is very central, but the outdoor areas are right on a main street. The price performance ratio is very good.

Tiny, nice restaurant with delicious mixed cuisine (something for everyone) and a really friendly boss (?). Reservation required, but easy to make over the phone. It was a nice experience, thank you!

Small but nice and really tasty

We decided to eat here based on the good reviews and were not disappointed. The three of us were there on Thursday evening and had made reservations to ensure we got a table, as the restaurant is very small and only has a few tables. It is very narrow, so some points are deducted for the ambience. The service was good and, above all, the food came very quickly and tasted very good. The meat platter with an additional side dish was easily enough for the three of us, the meat was really tender and tasted great. The price for the record (€65) is absolutely ok. The location is very practical if you want to eat something good before crossing over to see The Lion King, as you are right at the departure port of the musical ships.

Das Essen ( Pannfisch ) war sehr gut👍 . Das Lokal ist klein aber fein. Wir wurden freundlich bedient. Kann die Lokalität nur weiter empfehlen. Werden beim nächsten Hamburg Aufenthalt wieder dort essen gehen.

After wondering about the very small restaurant, we were very surprised by the delicious food. Lovingly prepared and very plentiful, the staff served food and drink in a friendly and fun way.

Kleiner Geheimtipp in Hamburg! Wir waren schon einmal hier und waren heute wieder sehr zufrieden! Genau unter der Hochbahnstation *Landungsbrücken* und an den Elbbrücken gelegen, bietet es Platz für ca. 25 - 30 Personen. Eine Reservierung ist mehr als empfehlenswert! Sehr nettes Personal, sehr leckeres Essen! Wir kommen gern wieder!

Das Lokal ist Recht klein, das Essen war in Ordnung. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Da aber ein recht großer Andrang herrschte, war man bemüht, die Tische möglichst oft zu besetzen. Besser wird es sein, wenn die Außengastronomie möglich ist.

Sehr kleines Lokal ( im Sommer draußen 200 Plätze und nehr) , in 2. Reihe vom Hafen gelegen, snneer Hauptstraße , direkt unter der ,u+s bahn. Am Sonntag Abend gegen 20:30 Uhr im November sehr aufmerksam bedient worden mit freier Platzwahl. Das Essen war sehr gut und preislich angemessen , auf extra Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Die Getränke sind leider vergleichsweise teuer . Macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck, auch die winzige Toiletten Anlage.

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Wenn alle Tische besetzt sind ist es zwar ein wenig eng, trotzdem würde ich wieder jederzeit dort Essen......

Unbedingt vorher reservieren! Aber es lohnt sich. Super leckeres Essen und eine freundliche Bedienung. Das Restaurant ist auf kleinsten Raum unter dem Fußgänger Zubringer der S Bahn.

Very cozy cafe. Tasty food and friendly oersonal

Man sitzt sehr beengt an Minitischen. Aioli und Kartoffeln waren okay. Der Fisch (Dorade) war nicht sauber ausgenommen und in Teilen deshalb ungenießbar. Als wir das beim Abräumen angemerkt hatten, wurden wir vom Chef regelrecht abgekanzelt. Absolut keine Empfehlung.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen für gutes Geld

Das Lokal ist klein aber fein. Es befindet sich direkt unter einer Brücke bei den Landungsbrücken. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Essen war auch lecker.

Ein sehr kleines Restaurant am Hafen. Das es sehr klein ist fühlt man sich bei voller Auslastung etwas eingeengt, aber das muss man halt mal hinnehmen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und das Personal ser freundlich. Die Gerichte sind preislich in einem normalen Bereich. Für 2 Personen sollte man zwischen 50 - 65 € rechnen. Die Größe der Portionen könnte etwas mehr sein, aber geschmacklich gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.

Etwas klein aber das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Können wir gerne weiter empfehlen. Besonders die Nudeln mit den Garnelen, waren spitze.

Der dreierlei Fisch und das Desert Schokotörtchen sind sehr lecker. Zu empfehlen. Preise etwas gehoben. Lage zentral bei den Landungsbrücken, aber nicht so schön.

Das Fischgericht war sehr gut. Wir hatten einen sehr freundlichen Kellner. Das Restaurant kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Ein wirklich sehr kleines, aber gemütliches Restaurant mit äußerst freundlichem Personal. Ich hatte ein Wiener Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat, sowie eine kleine Cola für insgesamt knapp 24€. Geschmeckt hat es gut, wobei das Schnitzel schon sehr dünn war und die Portion insgesamt auf den ersten Blick nicht hätte kleiner ausfallen dürfen. Satt bin ich aber trotzdem geworden und würde dort nochmal essen gehen

Hauptgericht war gut, der Salat war gar nichts. Wir hatten HH Panfisch war o.k. Daher nur 4 Sterne.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen sehr lecker. Das Schnitzel war nicht sehnig oder dergleichen. Dazu gabe es wie gewohnt eine Zitronenspalte, Pommes und ein kleiner Salat auf dem Teller.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr immer wieder gerne hierher. Das Essen ist wahnsinnig gut und man sitzt gemütlich an der Straße wo man viele lustige Menschen sieht. Sehr zu empfehlen 🤗

Waren vor paar Jahren schon mal im Ocean, ebenso wie gestern. Hatten wieder die Fischplatte und was soll man sagen, sau lecker und mehr als genug, die beste Fischplatte in ganz Hamburg! Kommen beim nächsten Mal wieder!

Das Restaurant liegt direkt unter der Brücke an U/S Landungsbrücken. Der Innenraum ist klein, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir saßen draußen, wo man neben einer vierspurigen Straße sitzt. Es gibt Glaswände, die einen von der Straße trennen, dennoch nicht das schönste Ambiente. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich & aufmerksam. Getränke & Essen wurden schnell geliefert. Ich hatte den Pannfisch bestellt. Der Fisch war gut, die Bratkartoffeln leider sehr fettig und nicht kross, was nicht mein Fall ist. Das Essen war okay, der Preis mit knapp 22€ passt für mich nicht.

Nach einer Empfehlung haben wir dieses Restaurant besucht und waren begeistert. Klein aber fein, mit freundlichem Service und tollen Fisch- und Fleichgerichten und passenden Weinen. Die wenigen Tischen sind ständig ausgelastet, das spricht für sich.
