Fischbeisl Volkmar Preis in Hamburg

Wer ein schmackhaftes Fischgericht ohne "Schnörkel" zu einem angemessenen Preis haben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Besonders die Bouillabaisse von Nordseefischen und der Pannfisch sind sehr empfehlenswert. Unsere Freude waren aber auch von der Scholle begeistert. Der Service ist schnell, allerdings nicht sehr zuvorkommend. Wer drinnen sitzt, muss seine Kleidung nach dem Besuch ordentlich auslüften. Das bringt die offene Fischküche mit sich.

Im Fischbeisl essen die einheimischen und die Touristen super lecker. Die Fischküche ist sehr frisch und gut. Der urchige Chef weisst innen die Tische zu und schaut nach allen und allem. Die Chefin hält das Team auf Trapp. Immer sehr gut. Gerne wieder.

Bis zur Bestellung haben wir 15 min angestanden, bis wir unsere 3 Fischbrötchen bekamen vergingen weitere 30 min! 2xMatjes ( soweit okay, ist ja auch nichts besonderes) und 1x Lachsfrikadelle( trocken, lag schwer im Magen) sind 45 min Wartezeit definitiv nicht wert. Offensichtlich hatte man uns vergessen. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Ausgleich! Keine Empfehlung von uns!

Schlechter Service seitens des Chefs, Bestellung wurde vergessen, auf höfliche Nachfrage höchst unfreundlich. Wahrscheinlich hat er es nicht mehr nötig, zu Gästen freundlich zu sein.

Essen ok, alles andere hat extrem viel Luft nach oben! Service-Personal extrem gelangweilt, nur das nötigste wird geboten. Die weibliche, etwas ältere Bedienung (Chefin??) lebt es vor! Weg zu Toilette abenteuerlich, sehr schmuddelig, die Treppe ist ein Zwischending von rutschig (Fett?) und klebrig zugleich. Vor der Treppe lag ein Bodenwischtusch, welches völlig verdreckt war. Wir werden nicht mehr dorthin gehen!

Man liest gutes und wird vom Chef muffig empfangen, nicht begrüßt. Die Vorspeisengarnelen im geschmacklosen Teig frittiert die Soße irgendwie. Das Baguette billigstes Aufbackbaguette. Der Fisch zum Hauptgang ok, auch frittiert, aber nicht besser, als in einer guten Fischbude, dazu ein undefinierter Kartoffelstampf. Die Scholle meiner Tischnachbarin war dunkelbraun frittiert ein paar Eismeergarnelen lieblos draufgelegt. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Danke für tollen Fisch, grandiose Soßen, urige Atmosphäre und ein Stückchen Österreich mitten in Hamburg! Der besondere Ort ist jeden Besuch wert; egal ob im Sommer draußen oder im Winter drinnen - es wird nie langweilig. Kirsten

War während unseres Hamburg-Aufenthaltes in Juni 2024 mehrmals im Fischbeisl. Scholle Finkenwerder Art lecker wie immer. Meine Frau meinte sie hätte schon besseren und frischeren Matjes gegessen. Insgesamt auch die Tendenz deutlich in Richtung lieblos, da wird schon mal das Brot vorab vergessen - und es gibt drei Kartöffelchen zum Hauptgang. Das war schon wesentlich aufmerksamer. Einmal war ich allein dort, da wollte mich die Servicekraft (ich kann es nicht anders nennen) nötigen in bar zu bezahlen! Was'n da los? Wieso? (Jeder mache sich bitte selbst seine Gedanken.)

Wer ein leckeres Matjesbrötchen haben möchte geht hier hin. Es liegt etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum, ist aber mit Bus oder E-Scooter gut zu erreichen. Empfehlenswert: Matjesbrötchen und eine Flasche Bier zusammen 7,90€.

Liebloser Service, schmuddelige Tische, kein Lächeln weit und breit. Der Weg zur Toilette abenteuerlich und weit entfernt von sauber. Die Schollenfilets schmucklos aus der Friteuse auf den Teller, Eismeergarnelen einfach draufgelegt. Bratkartoffeln fettig und weich. Welch‘ eine verschwendete Zeit (und Geld). Nie wieder.

I like the Beisl! Very simple furnishings, everything a bit cramped and simple, but that's exactly what I like. Food very fresh and delicious! Fried potatoes are awesome!!!! The food is prepared in a tiny, open kitchen. Interesting to watch. Prices are reasonable, rather cheap. Portions are sufficient for me. Always happy to have the Hamburg panfish and the delicious fish rolls on hand. 1000 times better than at the tourist jetties and significantly tastier.

Very disturbing place. If you're up for a shop full of weird newspapers and articles on the walls, this is the place for you: "Tichy's Insights" and "Riding Shoeter" articles are available in abundance. On the other hand, I think it's completely wrong that these articles and newspapers "that are classified as right-wing or right-wing conservative by several media outlets" (source Wikipedia) are displayed throughout the restaurant and pinned to the wall. I don't like it anymore.

Absolute no-go - the two of us were denied an outside seat even though many tables were free. One gets the impression - 2 people are not welcome. Even when we wanted to occupy a table for four with three other people, we were refused. ABSOLUTELY NOT COMPREHENSIBLE. We have been here again and again for many years and have been very satisfied so far. The waiter referred us to the boss and that was it. That was it for us and all our friends. Bye

Mr. Preiss has been a role model for me in the catering industry for many years. He ran a star restaurant in Nienstedten. Here he no longer fights for stars, but makes his guests happy with excellent fish dishes. Respect for what you get here.

The roll from the Backfischbrötchen was a frozen roll. Starter plate loveless. The fish soup, however, was delicious. However, I give one star mainly because of the unfriendly service, the waiter didn't even greet the guests with a hello but just silently handed out the cards

How unkind can you be? You stand at the counter for ages to order a fish sandwich and are consistently ignored. The rolls only taste mediocre. The salmon patty was black and the marinated salmon was tasteless. It's a shame because we live nearby and would like to shop there regularly. But the experience has always been unpleasant, especially with the service.

The food is delicious, but my portion is very poor and too expensive. The boss was rather annoyed and unfriendly. The service, on the other hand, was very quick and friendly. I don't think we eat there anymore.

Bring time and understanding, the restaurant is always busy and the staff don't let you rush them. Anyone who respects this will be treated courteously here. Was there on Saturday afternoon. Ordered fried fish with fries and remoulade. We had time, but after 30 minutes we first asked what was wrong with the fried fish... I shrugged and I took care of it... After 45 minutes we asked again, same reaction. After about an hour, the fried fish, fries and ketchup arrived, which of course goes much better with the fish than tartar sauce 😉. I then clearly told the always nice older lady that we were not happy with the waiting time and the ridiculously small portion. She was also angry about the kitchen etc and then secretly gave us 2 EUR each... I've never experienced anything like that before!

Wir sind auf Empfehlung eines Hamburgers dort zum Essen hin. Unsere 4 Punkte gehören ausschließlich dem Essen und unserer freundlichen, weiblichen, Bedienung. Der Fisch perfekt gebraten und geschmacklich wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben.Die kleinen Vorspeisenhappen einfach aber wirklich gut. Nun zum Lokal: Urig wie so mancher er beschreibt trifft in unseren Augen nicht zu , eher in die Jahre gekommen und ein neuer Sitzbezug und etwas mehr Ordnung wären vielleicht von nutzen. Ansonsten ist es halt wie es ist und der Zulauf der Gäste spricht für sich. Wegen des Essen würden wir wieder kommen , um einen gemütlichen Abend dort zu verbringen nicht, aber darauf ist es auch nicht ausgelegt .

Incredibly delicious fish in a casual atmosphere. We discovered the shop while on vacation five years ago and deliberately reserved it again for this year's vacation.

Always nice, a Hamburg original, also for hamburgers. Whole plaice fried with bacon bits and boiled potatoes was very good. The ambience and service fit perfectly.

The first time I had a delicious plaice and today it was probably the best fried fish I have ever eaten. Fish meat is still juicy and not dry like elsewhere. And all at prices that are unfortunately hard to find these days.

Very simple restaurant in all areas. Food was ok, service was boring and the furnishings were unkempt. Actually a "pearl" that lacks the necessary passion.

Worst fish sandwich ever! Had the salmon meatball roll. The salmon meatball was extremely heavily breaded and tasted very dry and like bread, not salmon. The remulade was also bland and couldn't save anything. Otherwise there are a lot of tourists on site and longer waiting times at lunchtime. Service not necessarily friendly and taciturn. We won't be coming back.

I've been to the Fischbeisl for the second time now. My husband had a stint and was happy, but complained about the quantity a bit, which we are more generous with. My salmon with rösti was a bit carelessly slapped down and a second rösti would have been great. On my first visit I had fish soup, which was great. The service was very demanding on an early Saturday evening, but we still felt welcome. I find the strange, lateral thinking flyers etc. interesting, they give an insight into worlds of thought that are completely alien to me. Will we come back? We do not know yet.

Comida buena, servicio regular, raciones correctas. El vino carísimo, 16'50 la botella de 0.5 l de vino de la casa. La carta es en alemán y tienen una hoja al final del menú con los nombres de los platos en inglés (sin explicar el contenido). Así que, o sabes alemán o te la juegas.

Delicious food, I have little comparison but my friend who grew up in Hamburg took me there and seemed like some solid traditional Hamburg fish dishes. Vibe was great, staff was helpful. I'd happily go back.

In my opinion, the Fischbeisl has had its best days behind it. It's not particularly comfortable. The open kitchen, which could be nice, meant that my clothes still smelled of drippings hours later. The furnishings in the guest room and the men's toilets are pretty run down. The staff was friendly and the food was OK.

The bun of the fish sandwich was quite dry. The owner was also a bit unfriendly. We shouldn't wait in front of the counter for the fish sandwiches we ordered, but somewhere else: "People waiting could further deter customers..." There are better alternatives nearby.

The Fischbeisl is a pseudo-gourmet restaurant in the port of Hamburg. Baked and panned fish is already so-so. Dough is more reminiscent of pork schnitzel and not of a crispy beer batter. However, you can often get better quality in the many restaurants and snack bars next door for less money. There are even haute cuisine restaurants nearby. In the specialties. The bouillabaisse is more of a North German fish soup with some Mediterranean herbs added. The fish is present in shreds, with no trace of fennel or proper French spices. Shrimp are hard and rubbery. The lobster tagliatelle barely have 6 pieces of lobster and tastes like Jürgen Langbein lobster butter. The tagliatelle were mush. For 29€ an absolute disgrace! The Fischbeisl is pseudo-gourmet with a large wine list etc. Nothing behind it! The only nice thing was the waitress, who took the tagliatelle back in a friendly manner and apologized several times. You could tell she was embarrassed.

Total disappointment and in this respect the prices are even more unreasonable. Had a boullabaisse... The cook had probably “accidentally” pureed the expected fish fillets. Of a total of 3 mussels, 3 were empty. Because the mussel meat was not found, a guest in front of me was probably “better lucky”. The one shrimp present was rock hard. It was tasty the whole thing is bland and far away from Bouillabaisse - To be honest: someone here doesn't know how to do their job at all... I don't understand the positive comments🤔🤔... never again, unfortunately...

The food was good and the price was okay. Service was nice. There are deductions because there are various lateral thinker magazines lying around here. Unfortunately, that's not possible these days.

My wife's panfish was quite good, my Labskaus was a bit runny, but tasted ok. But I would have liked a little more than 3 small cucumber slices. The service and friendliness are underground! We were traveling with three children and the first thing we were told was that fish sandwiches were not allowed to be eaten at the table. You are also not allowed to order "little things", only real dishes. Two children were graciously allowed to order fries. (One of them would have preferred a shrimp roll, which would have been even more expensive.) The waitress was and remained unfriendly the whole time, the second waitress spilled a lot of the drink while serving but ignored it. The ambience is simple and unpretentious. The owner's "office" is at the entrance to the toilet. When you get to the toilets you pass all sorts of "literature": contrails, microwave radiation and intentional vaccine damage - something for all conspiracy theorists and lateral thinkers. It's better not to look into the open rooms next to the toilets. Conclusion: once and never again. (Next time I'll try the delicious-looking fish sandwiches next door.)

The ambience is actually not particularly inviting, but if you let that put you off, it's your own fault. Because the food is absolutely brilliant. The lobster soup with crabs was very delicious. The salad also had different types of lettuce, mushrooms, carrots,… and the dressing was very tasty. The fried fish is a culinary delight. Very well seasoned and very fresh fish. We had cod and pollock fillets. First there was fresh warm baguette with chili cream. The staff are not pretty young girls or hunky young men. But rustic, very nice older gentlemen. Very accommodating and extremely attentive. We didn't have a reservation and it was packed. Nevertheless, we were at the table after just a few minutes. The restaurant has a chip shop feel, but the food is more than very good.

We went to Fischerbruchen because the shops we knew were open next door. Absolutely incomparable in terms of quality and presentation to the surrounding snack bars. The price is not cheaper either. Therefore not recommended.

I ate a very tasty salmon meatball for just under ten euros. I was a bit suspicious of the warm potato salad on the side at first, but I tolerated everything well. Nevertheless, I have to say that I would have preferred boiled potatoes or French fries. A beer from Marne was also delicious, unfortunately I only realized afterwards that there was also a nice wine. In any case, I will come here again and can only recommend it. You should take your time going to the toilet, there are a few very good quotes pinned to the wall...

the guy working there was very rude. he told us that we can sit there if we order something from the menu not the fish sandwich. we decided to get a fish sandwich to go and they started to prepare our food but while my mom was sitting there and waiting for the order, the guy told us to wait at the entrance (although the place was empty). i would understand this behaviour if the place was crowded and people waiting outside but it was 70% empty and this doesn’t make any sense. also the size of the fish was very tiny. i don’t recommend this place to anyone. i’m sure you can find a much better place nearby.

This is my favourite place to have salmon sandwich with Alioli. Top flavour. You can order it to take away, and is only 6.5 Euro.

Negatives vorweg ; mit meiner Frau kann ich hier nicht essen gehen, sie mag keinen Fisch. :-) Positives : ganz simpel gesagt - die Speisen stehen im Mittelpunkt. Top Fisch und Meeresprodukte zu fairen Konditionen und einer für eine derart kleinen Küche überaus grossen Auswahl. Das Ambiente kann durchaus als authentisch bezeichnet werden. Freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal.

Etwas einfach von der Aufmachung her, aber was an Gemütlichkeit fehlt, macht das wirklich sehr gute Essen wieder wett. Ich habe noch keine so leckere Fischsuppe wie hier gegessen. Mega..

Hamburger Fischimbiss/ Restaurant Klein aber fein

Sehr einfach eingerichtet, aber sehr leckere und bezahlbare Gerichte (Bistro-Konzept halt). Fischbeisl ist meines Wissens das einzige Restaurant im Umfeld, dass Lumb (Unterart vom Kabeljau/Dorsch) auf der Karte hat. Sollte man mal probieren , echt lecker.....die Fischsuppe ebenfalls und das Mittagsgericht Backfisch mit lauwarmem Kartoffelsalat kann ich auch wärmstens empfehlen. Heute dann die Hummersuppe und Tortellini mit Fisch, Spinat und Hummersoße probiert. Ein Gedicht. Echt lecker.

Lecker Backfischbrötchen. Geht immer

Fischsuppe und Fischteller ( Lumpfilet auf gewürzten Kürbisstücken mit Kartoffelstampf) einfach erstklassig. Weißwein harmonierte dazu prächtig. Lokalausstattung unpretentiös/ ohne Schnickschnack , so dass die Konzentration voll dem Essen und Blick auf die Küche gehörte. Tres Bon !

Hier bekommt man leckeren Fisch mit leckeren frischen Beilagen. Direkt am Großmarkt für Fische bekommt man frischen Fisch zubereitet serviert. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist ok.

Wer ein uriges, original Hamburger Fischbistro ausprobieren mag und gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen mag, der ist hier gut aufgehoben! Der Service war etwas wortkarg, dennoch freundlich und zuvorkommend!

Brötchen recht gut, aber die Freundlichkeit absoluter Tiefpunkt! Wir wurden rauskatapultiert und ein Bier gabs auch nicht!!! Sprachkompetenz ist nicht vorhanden.

Wir waren zur Mittagszeit dort. Den Tisch haben wir vorher reserviert. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten den Lumb und Hamburger Pannfisch. Die Preise sind für sie heutige Zeit auch moderat. Wir kommen wenn wir in Hamburg sind gerne wieder.

Sehr gemütliches Beisl. Ich aß Muscheln. Sie waren sehr lecker und schmeckten sehr gut. Sind zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist sehr interessant. Reservieren sollte man schon.

Urig, lecker und fair. Dazu wird beim Personal gelungene Integration vorgelebt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
