Nettes Restaurant mit gutem Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung.

Wir hatten zu zweit die Kalt/Warme Vorspeise für eine Person und extra Pita, Hauptspeise ein Gemischter Teller mit extra Pommes, hat locker gereicht.

Das Essen war hervorragend, ich hatte Moussaka. Tolle Atmosphäre dort, sogar um 23 Uhr, wenn die meisten Restaurants in der Umgebung schon geschlossen haben.

Die beste griechische Taverne in München und Umgebung. Fisch, Fleisch und Desserts nach Herzenslust. Dreißig Jahre Freundschaft. Herzlichen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Als Grieche kann ich diesen Laden nicht empfehlen. Mann bestellt Telefonisch einen Gyros mit Pita zum Abholen als Nachbar in der Nähe 30 min bis der Gyros fertig ist und noch mal 30 min im Lokal warten das geht garnicht bin dann gegangen so ein schlechten Service bekommst du bei keinem Dönerladen den hab ich mir dann auch geholt als Grieche die sehen mich nie wieder ja nur ein mal Sterben vieleicht in diesem Ladan mehr nicht

Das Restaurant „Nur einmal leben“ wirkt von außen eher unscheinbar und unauffällig – fast so, als würde man leicht daran vorbeigehen. Doch genau darin liegt die Überraschung: Betritt man das Lokal, wird man sofort von einer gemütlichen, warmen Atmosphäre empfangen, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Der Service ist ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen, und auf Wünsche wird jederzeit zuvorkommend eingegangen. Hier merkt man, dass Gastfreundschaft wirklich gelebt wird. Das Essen überzeugt auf ganzer Linie: sehr schmackhaft, frisch zubereitet und vor allem reichhaltig. Die Portionen sind großzügig, und die Qualität der Speisen lässt keine Wünsche offen – typisch griechisch und einfach köstlich. Insgesamt ist „Nur einmal leben“ ein echter Geheimtipp. Von außen vielleicht unscheinbar, innen jedoch ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkehrt. Eine klare und volle Empfehlung für alle, die gutes griechisches Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre genießen möchten.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in der wunderschönen Stadt München unterwegs und sind durch die vielen guten Bewertungen im ,,nur einmal leben“ gelandet – zum Glück! Was sollen wir sagen: Wir wurden wirklich überrascht. Der Abend war einfach perfekt. Das Essen war hervorragend, das Personal unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre hat einfach gepasst. Wir waren gleich zweimal dort und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Nächstes Jahr steht ein Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder auf dem Plan. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit! Und viele Grüße aus Dresden

Tolles Restaurant. Essen war lecker, Bedienung sehr freundlich. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall eine Reservierung. Wir hatten Glück, weil wir 16 Uhr da waren. Später hätten wir keinen Platz mehr bekommen.

Sehr gastfreundlich, so wie man es sich wünscht!

Haben heute dort das erste Mal bestellt und wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Wir hatten Gyros mit Metaxa und für den Preis haben wir uns echt etwas erhofft. Geschmacklich war es okay, aber es ist auf dem Weg anscheinend verdunstet und der Reis ist einfach nur matschig verkocht. Sehr schade. Die Pommes haben auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen und das Pitabrot war nur so in Öl getränkt. Ich empfehle für den Preis mehr Liebe zum Detail.

Super Service, super Essen, alles super!!!

Ein fantastisches griechisches Restaurant in der Riesenfeldstraße! Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und modern zugleich, weit weg vom typischen Kitsch. Das Essen ist exzellent, besonders die Fleischgerichte vom Grill sind ein Genuss. Dass das Team so entspannt und kinderlieb ist, macht den Abend für uns als Eltern perfekt. Man merkt, dass hier mit Herzblut gearbeitet wird.

Mega. Schon beim Empfang sofort super wohl gefühlt. Hier wird Essen gehen echt zum Erlebnis - haben viel gelacht - Danke an den Chef! ;) Ach ja und das Essen war dazu auch noch überragend, mein bisher leckerstes Gyros mit Metaxa. Sehr Lecker.Leider Pita mit Knoblauch war, einfach gebratene weißer Brot ohne Knoblauch. Ansonsten sehr freundlich und lecker.Immer wieder gerne.

Kleiner aber Feiner Grieche…Bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell. Essen kam sehr schnell aber geschmacklich eher durchschnittlich…aber der Service macht das weg. Ich würde wieder hin gehen!

Erst mal... Super!!! Sehr sehr nettes Personal, schon bei der Reservierung absolut sympathisch. Begrüßungs Ouzo... Find ich immer nett und einfach zwischen dem Essen noch einen auszugeben find ich auch super 😁 Also, Service einwandfrei alle freundlich und gut drauf (in Der Küche wurde sogar getanzt 😂) Beim Essen gabs nix zu meckern, Gute Portionen, top Qualität und echt lecker 😋 Warum gab's keine 5 Sterne... Wenn die Hütte voll ist, dann wirds mal richtig laut. Aber sonst... Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 💪👍👍👍 vielen Dank 😊 😉

Absoluter Geheimtipp! Mega leckeres Essen und genialer Service.

Unfortunately, the edges of my mixed grill, which cost almost €24, were partially burnt and consequently dry. A shame, because the bifteki tasted very good. The menu is concise, but I'm missing items like moussaka and/or liver. I don't think the prices are reasonable; on average, they're about 15% too high (only for the food; drinks are okay). The service was very friendly, but the place looked like a disaster zone. Napkins were scattered on the floor, indicating that previous guests had been misbehaving, but they could have been cleaned up beforehand. The service was very friendly, as if I were a long-time customer; I was offered ouzo, and there was a lot of joking and laughter. That's why I'll come back; perhaps we just caught them on a bad day, and every kitchen deserves a second chance, especially since my colleagues had a good experience, just not me. The takeaway food was always good and reasonably priced.

The mixed appetizers were delicious, and the selection was well-balanced. The garlic bread was also excellent. Unfortunately, our otherwise good gyros arrived cold. However, the staff responded very satisfactorily to our complaint. We would gladly return. It was very busy, so a reservation is recommended.

We were here eight years ago and were really looking forward to returning. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the rest of the staff is also extremely attentive. The food is excellent. And for those who enjoy a drink, there's plenty of complimentary ouzo!

5 stars not only for the food, but also for the maki! It was our first time at the restaurant and we were greeted and entertained with such warmth, as if we'd known each other for decades! 100% Greek feeling We had what felt like half the menu on the table, and everything was sensational. I was so excited that I could only take three quick snapshots. I'll be back in Munich in a month and will order the rest of the menu :) Be sure to order bouyiourdi and some suvlakia (served like in Greece)

We ate here before the Disturbed concert. We got three seats without any problems, even without a reservation. The people are super friendly and in a good mood. Now for the food – simply delicious and plentiful.

Delicious food and excellent service for many years, the shop has worked its way up from a tasty snack bar (back then a few doors south) to a full-fledged restaurant - without losing any of its quality or authenticity.

The food is okay, but nothing special. The grassy area next to the outdoor tables serves as a communal ashtray, which really spoiled the experience, as did the fact that the chef occasionally sneezed at the next table while wearing his kitchen gloves to enjoy his cigarette.

Very small Gyros portion for 14€... disappointing. In other Greek restaurants they give way bigger portions

I used to be a loyal customer here — Greek takeout that was once a highlight of my month. After a year’s break, I decided to give them another shot. Big mistake. The food arrived swimming in oil. Not “Greek drizzle of olive oil” — I mean plastic bags literally leaking oil across the house. Packaging failed completely, and the result looked (and smelled) like something salvaged from the bottom of a fryer. Quality? Nonexistent. The meat was overcooked, dry, and somehow managed to taste like nothing at all. The seafood was no better — bland, rubbery, and also drowning in grease. Out of four people, not a single one finished their dish. One meal went straight into the trash on sight, the rest followed shortly after. What used to be fresh, flavorful Greek cooking has devolved into oily, tasteless disappointment. For us, that’s the end of the road — we won’t be ordering again.

We had dinner here tonight, and it was simply fantastic! The food was really, really good, fresh, delicious, and superbly prepared. The value for money is also absolutely spot on. The waiters are incredibly kind, warm, and attentive. You immediately feel welcome. I'll definitely be coming back again!

We arrived at "Only Once in a Lifetime" around 8:30 p.m. and found a comfortable seat outside. The atmosphere was very informal and pleasant. We actually wanted to order gyros, but unfortunately, they were already sold out. However, the service was very friendly and attentive. The wait for our food was about 20 minutes, which was perfectly fine. We ultimately opted for grilled calamari and a rice noodle dish – both were delicious. I would also like to particularly mention the garlic bread, which was truly delicious. All in all, a lovely visit that we would happily recommend.

This is only a food review, as we had it delivered. The grilled vegetables topped with feta were excellent. 5 stars. We also had the sea bream with cabbage and rice. Also very tasty. 4.5 stars. The delivery was also great.

Simply Greek, the food was amazing! I was only in Munich on vacation, otherwise I would be there more often.

There are few certainties in life, but the fact that you can eat well here at reasonable prices is certainly one of them.

I ordered the fish platter and my friend ordered the mixed platter. For a total of just under €50, the portion size was ridiculous. It was also poorly seasoned. It tasted almost like nothing.

Another greek restaurant with average greek food. I had the mixed Mezze, it was ok, filling and nothing differentiating. Service was prompt. But since the place is small, the owner fills every square cm and it gets very noisy. No fun to have normal conversation 🙉.

I was born and raised in Munich. Every few years, I come back and visit Munich. This place has been there since I was a teenager. Every time I come back, I can't miss visiting this most awesome place! The people are the best, and the food is out of this world!!!. I have never been disappointed! There are not enough stars on Google to award them.

We've been going to Makis for over 10 years because we love the food and the good atmosphere here! I just have to take the delicious appetizer platter (warm & cold) every time, with garlic bread and the dish is great to share. Everything else we've eaten there over the last few years has always been delicious and we won't say no to a little ouzo every now and then ;) Efcharisto poli for the hospitality dear Makis, we'll definitely be happy to come back, even if our journey has multiplied due to moving - so see you soon! :)

Unfortunately I have to go down again with the rating. The last two times the food was actually cold and not even warmed up. It was far better in the beginning... It used to be a factor of 10 better. Food is significantly more expensive now - which would be bearable if the food had remained as good, now everything seems as if it had simply been warmed up in the microwave. The original owner, who used to always create a great atmosphere in the restaurant, was also no longer there.

I've never had such good Greek food outside of Greece. Great food at very good prices and the staff shows you that you are warmly welcome. Thank you for the fun hours with you

Just Live Once is a wonderful place for anyone who wants to enjoy Greek cuisine to the fullest. The restaurant offers a warm atmosphere that goes perfectly with traditional Greek dishes. Particularly noteworthy is the tzatziki, which is particularly creamy and aromatic - an ideal accompaniment to the dishes. The Metaxa Gyros is another highlight of the house. The meat is juicy, perfectly seasoned and served with a delicious Metaxa sauce that gives the dish a special touch. There are also fresh side dishes that round off the overall experience.

We came spontaneously on Friday and got an extra cookie. We weren't rushed though, the staff was super friendly and the food was really fantastic. By the way, the ouzo is also very good! Really a nice break! I can only recommend it.

Portions far too small for the price and all my food was overcooked, disgusting! The chef doesn't know anything about spices and should work in a snack bar rather than a restaurant! The waiter was a disgrace, I waited half an hour because he was on the phone until I could pay, I get better service at a chip shop! All in all, I unfortunately can't recommend the restaurant, as there are MUCH better Greek restaurants in Munich with a better parking situation, nicer ambience and a larger restaurant!

Was there with my girlfriend. I had güros in Metaxa cream sauce and she had the surf turf plate. I was relatively happy with my portion. Unfortunately the fries were too hard and tasteless. Unfortunately, my friend's plate was a big disappointment. For €26 you got a children's portion. Nothing stands out in terms of taste. Overall, unfortunately, it's just OK to disappointing. What struck me as very positive was the baguette. It came nice and crispy fried in garlic butter. I haven't had anything like this at Greek before. I can't say anything negative about the staff. Were always hospitable and attentive, as you would expect from Greeks. The atmosphere, on the other hand, was again very stressful. Unfortunately the store is too well stocked for its size. Very difficult to get through and quite overstimulated. I'm grateful for the food, but wouldn't visit the restaurant again based on the experience.
