The prices are a bit high, but the food is incredibly delicious. The cappuccino here is also one of the best I've ever had. You get a welcome from the kitchen beforehand, which is rare. The service wasn't great. We were shown to our table and asked for drinks on the way in; it felt a bit unprofessional and overwhelmed. We didn't tip, and the waitress was unfriendly; we didn't even say goodbye.

I was super satisfied. However, two hours later, I had a terrible case of diarrhea. Whatever caused that. Tatar paired with natural wine????

We went there for the first time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. There was nothing to complain about and it tasted very good. Upon request, they even added a little more bread, and the Kaiserschmarrn was the best ever, with vanilla ice cream, applesauce, plum compote, and fresh fruit. See for yourself. We'll be back.

Great ambiance, both modern and rustic. Top-notch service. Kässpätzle (cheese spaetzle) in a beautiful, simple presentation, with herb oil and chives that are something different. However, not recommended for those with lactose intolerance, as very young cheese is used to create creaminess. The risotto changes regularly, but with more expensive ingredients, the price of the dish means they have to cut back so much that a chanterelle mushroom risotto no longer deserves its name. Highly recommended.

Each course was full of creativity, refinement, and unique flavors that you really can't get anywhere else. The four-course menu, in particular, left us speechless – it was like a culinary journey, perfectly coordinated and beautifully presented. It was a very special evening for my wife, as she was able to celebrate her birthday here – and you managed to make her smile with your service and fantastic dishes. 🌹 For that alone, you not only made the evening special, but also gained two new regulars. This is what gastronomy will look like in 2025: modern, welcoming, creative, and full of attention to detail. All in all, a clear 10/10 – we're already looking forward to the next time! 🙌

The staff were unfriendly and dismissive, presumably because we were stopping for a drink and a cappuccino – we were on our mountain bikes – and didn't want lunch. They charged €2.40 for a glass of tap water with our cappuccino. The bill stated 0.5 liters of table water. It definitely wasn't 0.5 liters. It's a shame when you're not welcome to refresh yourself with a drink so you can continue your cycling tour feeling refreshed. There were three of us, after all.

As the Allgäu natives say? "I've eaten less than I thought." Seriously, the ambiance, staff, drinks, food - well-deserved 5 stars/points!

ABSOLUTELY TOP! The best restaurant in all of Kempten! If you want to eat really well in Kempten and feel like you're on vacation at the same time, you can't miss Nui! The atmosphere is modern, relaxed, yet stylish – you can tell that the food here is made with heart and taste. The food? An absolute taste experience. The roast beef with onions was cooked to perfection, tender as butter, and the fried onions were simply heavenly. The lobster pasta – a poem! Finely seasoned, creamy, with plenty of lobster in it – nothing was left to be desired. And the dessert was the icing on the cake – sweet, sophisticated, and beautifully presented. Each course was a highlight in its own right. And then Lisa arrived – what a waitress! Super friendly, attentive, charming, and yet pleasantly relaxed. She had everything under control, was always there to help, and made our evening special with her positive attitude. Thank you, Lisa – service at its finest! The food was really great and delicious. A small tendon in the onion grill, but the staff immediately addressed it. The staff were super friendly, very attentive, and helpful. We (a couple) were celebrating a birthday and were hoping for a dinner out of the ordinary. We were not disappointed. The meat in our onion roast was comparable to the quality of a fillet in other restaurants, the sauce, which had probably been reduced for hours, was a real treat, and the cheese spaetzle was perfect. The starters and amuse-bouche were also excellent. Unfortunately, the dessert was a bit simple compared to the menu text, but the quality was excellent, so that shouldn't detract from the rating. The highly professional but warm service from a charming Munich woman made our birthday dinner a wonderful, enjoyable evening. Kempten definitely has a VERY good address! We'd be happy to go again.

The food is excellent as always. The roast beef with onions was sensational. The food is always beautifully presented, and the portions are generous. I don't think it really matters what you eat here, because you can't go wrong. Everything always tastes excellent.

Always a poem!!!! Absolute recommendation. There are 4-5 restaurants in Kempten that have really good food - this restaurant definitely tops the list. Fresh food, very good taste, fine creations, changing menu and always a few new special features. We really enjoy coming here!

Down-to-earthness meets fine dining. Yesterday we ate the 3-course menu, which you can choose from the entire menu. All dishes were beautifully prepared and tasted great! We particularly liked the cress with the bread, the Hergottsbseißerle and the orange cake (which somehow isn't a cake). The great service rounds off the evening perfectly. For us it was a particularly beautiful evening.

For the third time I visited this restaurant. I was very impressed with the first and second ones and everything was very good. BUT this time unfortunately not as usual. We got a shared long table in the wine cellar, which is full of dust from the wine rack to the light bulb. What we ordered... Starter: Beef tartare, the meat was very good! but bread was cold and the butter was frozen hard! Main course: Rump steak, seared to a perfect medium rare but the plate was carelessly decorated and the sauce was full of salt. Fish : the sauce was also salty and served too much in the plate Dessert: salt with chocolate mousse? interesting but a bit too much, only tasted salty UNFORTUNATELY really DISAPPOINTING :(

In the evening we were guests in a very cozy room in the style of a farmhouse parlor. The food isn't cheap, but it's worth every cent - totally delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Also very friendly. Everything worked out for us. Therefore gladly again.

We ended up in Nui by chance and were completely impressed by the dishes. Allgäu dishes with modern elements, hearty but not too heavy. The selection of drinks and the service were also great, I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The best restaurant in Kempten!

I have visited the NUI several times - mostly in the evenings, but also once at lunchtime. On the whole, I unfortunately have the feeling that they have now made a certain name for themselves and are now becoming a bit "careless" here and there. Three examples: The greeting from the kitchen was the same size for several people as for the two people at the next table, so that the flavored butter that was served had to be rationed. In the Kempten comparison, the lunch dishes are clearly too small for the price quoted - as others have already complained here. But what annoyed me the most was the “trick” with the menus. I ordered the onion roast solo on my last evening visit and was completely satisfied despite the high price. This time I visited, I chose the 3-course menu and couldn't believe my eyes at what had suddenly become of my onion roast. Instead of the beef steak, there were suddenly just two strips of meat. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture but you can check that out in the reviews here. The plate shown with the steak, the roasted onions and cheese patties is the normal portion and the identical structure with two approximately 2-3cm wide steak strips is the "menu variant" - as you can see in the pictures, this was probably not an isolated case for me . The NUI doesn't actually need such tricks. If you do something like that - for whatever reason - then common decency expects me to point it out to the customer in the menu. As a guest, when I see "CREATE YOUR OWN NUI MENU" in the menu, I do not assume that the portions do not correspond to those of the a la carte dishes. I don't think something like that is OK. I can't say whether this was also the case with the starter and dessert, as I have no comparison. This may only happen if the individual price of the guest's combination exceeds the menu price, but then it makes no sense to offer more menus if the "price advantage" is then amortized again in the form of smaller portions. The 3-course menu costs 62 EUR, the total of the individual prices of my menu selection was (from memory) around 70 EUR. I will give the NUI one last chance in the evening and see whether they take such criticism to heart and stop it. If the argument comes up that the portions on the menus should be made smaller because otherwise it would be too much for the guests, you have to point this out and you could offer two variants with small EUR xx, normal EUR xx. I look forward to the statement.

What can I tell you? I work there ☺️ so my opinion will not be evaluated neutrally. My stars are honest stars and the rest is always a matter of taste. In any case, after the meal you will ask yourself when and if it was ever so exceptionally good 😉

An exquisite dining experience in the heart of Kempten. Service is warm and attentive. The cuisine is sublime with excellent presentation, layered flavours and seasonal produce making this a not to be missed gastronomical experience.

We went there for our Christmas party in December and everyone thought it was great. The food was always very good, from the greeting from the kitchen to the 3-4 courses, and the portion was more than sufficient, so the dessert took a bit of pressing...but we managed it. We were a little early, but got a glass of champagne on the house to bridge the waiting time. Thank you for that. The wine list is also more than sufficient and by no means overpriced. We had a very good Garnacha, which I ordered for home as soon as I got home. The service was also very friendly and accommodating. Conclusion: not exactly cheap in terms of price, but price and performance (food + service) went together very well here.

Went to Nui today with 6 people and 1 child, from the service, which was very professional and more than friendly, to the food, everything was just perfect. My onion roast was a dream, as was the salad bowl with beef strips.Kaiserschmarren was also a poem.It was specially made although it wasn't on the menu. The others were also enthusiastic about the food and service. 5 stars for this restaurant are not enough, you deserve 10 stars. That's how I imagine it would be perfect Gastronomy. We celebrated our wedding and various other things here and the service and food were always on point. Here the customer is really treated like a king. Always my pleasure. When it comes to price-performance ratio, other restaurants can take more than a bite out of it. If we want to eat well in the Allgäu, we only go there.

Wir waren begeistert von der hervorragenden Küche, der wunderbaren Weinauswahl, dem schönen Ambiente und dem bezaubernden Service. Die Liebe zum Detail und die Aufmerksamkeit in jeder Kleinigkeit haben unseren letzten Abend im Allgäu perfekt gemacht. Ein großes Dankeschön im Namen des gesamten Teams für diesen Abend 😊

Das Team und v.a. die Küche kann es mit dem früheren Henze locker aufnehmen, dachten wir an diesem Abend. Sehr gutes Essen mit perfektem Service durch Janée, welche auch zur guten Stimmung sehr nett beitrug. Wir dachten, das müssen wir bald wiederholen. Ja, wir waren dann auch bald wieder dort. Leider konnte das Essen den ersten Eindruck nicht wiederholen, daher eine deutliche Abwertung. Meine Wunschvorspeise war aus. Das alternative, lauwarme Makrelenfilet wurde in einer eiskalten fettigen Sauce serviert, keine Ahnung ob das so beabsichtigt ist, mir lag es jedenfalls länger und unangenehm im Magen (und ich vertrage eigentlich alles). Das Wiener Schnitzel war an sich ordentlich, nur das 2. Stück war nur ein sehr kleiner Fetzen paniertes Fleisch. Das geht bei dem Preis gar nicht.

Mit einem Wort: Hervorragend Hier ist "der Kunde ist König" nicht nur ein Spruch sondern Programm. Man wird von vorne bis hinten umsorgt ohne das es aufdringlich wirkt. Das Ambiente ist schick aber ungezwungen. Zu guter letzt zum Essen, Preis Leistung überragend, hier stimmt die Qualität und das Essen hat einfach die nötige Raffinesse um sich von anderen Restaurants abzuheben. Großes Lob und eine klare Empfehlung in Kempten!

Sehr nette Bedienung, aufmerksam und freundlich! Wir waren dort schon öfters zum Essen, speziell wegen der Vorspeise - Büffelmozzarella auf Tomaten. Leider ist dieser jedoch mittlerweile extrem geschrumpft, auf zwei winzige Kugeln. Auch die Bowl ist leider nur noch ein großer Salat mit bisschen Bulgur. Wir kommen wieder aber vermutlich erst mit einem größeren Abstand.

Jedes Mal wieder ist es super im Nui, am Samstag Abend waren wir da und ich Vegetarierin bin und die Speisekarte leider sehr wenige Möglichkeiten für Vegetarier hat, habe ich ein wunderbares Spezialgericht mit wildem Brokkoli und Erbsencreme bekommen weil die beste Bedienung der Welt das für mich arrangiert hat. Danke dafür noch einmal und danke auch für den immer aufmerksamen und wunderbaren Service ! Das Essen war köstlich !

Wir waren am 17.08.23 zum Mittagessen mit unserer Tochter da. Exzellenter Service mit sehr freundlichem Personal (und das durchweg bei allen) und absolut grossartiges Essen. Die Pommes unserer Tochter waren die besten, die wir bisher überhaupt gegessen haben und der Kalbsbraten als auch die Kässpätzle waren ganz toll. So gut haben wir lange nicht gegessen. Herzlichen Dank! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Hervorragendes Lokal, nur zu empfehlen. Hier stimmt einfach alles. das Ambiente, die Lage, der Wein und nicht zuletzt die super nette Bedienung. Vielen Dank noch einmal an die junge Dame mit dem schwäbischen Akzent. Wenn es sich ergibt, kommen wir sehr gerne noch einmal wieder, dann auch mit mehr Zeit.

Tolles, qualitativ hochwertiges Essen, fein abgeschmeckt , super Portionsgrösse! Sehr netter und sehr gut bemühter Service...kleine Abstriche nur wegen fehlendem Besteck (essen kommt obwohl kein Besteck da ist, welches dann nachgedeckt wird) und wenig aktiver Verkaufsbemühung zwecks Schnaps etc... Rotwein wird dekantiert aber leider waren dann kleine Fliegen drin...trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen und immer wieder gern!
