NOVEMBER Brasserie in Berlin

November has quickly become one of our favorites in Berlin - the food, staff, and ambiance are all truly lovely. Would definitely recommend!

The quality of the fish dishes was outstanding. Can especially recommend Dorade, Jakobsmuscheln and Makrele (just writing the dishes in German). Delicious, fresh, melts-in-your mouth. Very tatsy and original flavours. Service was very friendly, helpful and atmosphere was relaxed.

The food was incredible, the service was good We had a reservation from 18:00 to 20:30, and exactly at 20:30 we were asked to finish and pay off the bill; I would say that was the only minor inconvenience The place can be visited with little children, however there are no options apart from fish for them. But the restaurant is very helpful and still provided a special rice portion for children The option to order a full-menu degustation set is not explained very clearly but still can be ordered

We were very excited for our reservation at November Brasserie - Unfortunately, upon arrival we were sat at a table that was bug infested (literally covering one of the chairs, and crawling all over the place.) When we pointed out the bugs, the waitress simply swapped the chair for another one. Thinking it was perhaps the first sitting and the bugs would not be a problem we tried sitting down to order - within minutes we had bugs crawling up our legs and invading our table. When we asked to move inside or to another table that was not possible. We decided to leave - and are still an hour later finding bugs crawling in our hair. Overall a very disappointing experience. Especially considering we booked this way in advance - and made a time-consuming and expensive trip across the city for this. edit: Went back, it's great.

The rice was dry and everything felt off. The drinks were suddenly awful, nothing like they were a few months ago. My first visit here was great, so I came back with friends, but this time it was different. Big minus for the seating we got. There were plenty of free seating during our whole visit, we ended up by the bathroom…not exactly cosy hearing people flush constantly…. The waitresses acted like the hype had inflated their egos. It’s a restaurant, come on it’s not a nightclub or a runway, and this level of snobbery is just ridiculous for a place with dry sushi rice.

We sat at the bar and it was quite an experience! The sushi chefs really knew what they were doing and the service as well as the food were of highest quality! Highly recommend.

Excellent food, attentive service, and a pleasant atmosphere. For a leisurely meal with a good bottle of wine, expect to pay around €200 per person. It's well worth it, though. My only complaint was the restrictive booking time. While I understand the reasoning behind it, it detracts from the overall sense of being a guest.

Watching the chefs at the bar prepare sashimi, nigiri, and all the fresh Japanese delicacies is an experience. And the cocktails are amazing. The ambiance is very tasteful and relaxed. Very good value for money.

Exceptional modern Japanese experience in P-Berg Heard a lot about this place and could finally understand why. Everything from a welcome at the door to the last bite were top-notch. I've been to November Brasserie five times now and I'm thrilled every single time. The food, drinks, and service are consistently excellent. The dishes are delicious, the drinks are creative, and the service is always warm and professional. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants, highly recommended!

Everything extremely fresh. Sakes too mild and sweet.

The appetizer platter with sahimi and sushi was spectacular and of excellent quality. We initially mistook it for omakase and were advised to consider ordering more dishes. We then ordered another appetizer and a main course (duck in shiso sauce). The duck was very tender and wonderfully prepared. However, we searched the menu in vain for classic dishes such as miso-glazed black cod. In conclusion: Our meals were excellent, but we had some difficulty choosing.

Excellent experience particularly for the four different nigiri we selected. We recommend the orange wine from Moravia, matches well with the sophisticated taste bombs. We also appreciated the ginger lemonade although a little too sweet for me. Efficient and professional service.

Everything was simply perfect, starting with the warm welcome from the friendly waiter who explained the restaurant's philosophy to us. The quality and sophistication of the dishes were incredible; they were prepared with great attention to detail by the sushi master, who also treated us to some additional samples. It was our first visit there, and we will definitely be back as soon as possible! An absolute plus: the lime and salt accompaniment—a brilliant idea.

Fish quality is amazing! We enjoyed a wonderfully curated dining experience that blends Japanese-style precision with rich European flavors and elegant presentation. Every dish was beautifully prepared—colorful, creative, and clearly made with top-quality ingredients from start to finish. I highly recommend trying their tuna; it’s incredibly fresh and probably the best you’ll find in Berlin. You can even watch the chefs prepare your nigiri and fish dishes right in front of you, which makes the experience even more special! Huge kudos to the service team! In Berlin, birthday reservations often get overlooked, but here the staff truly paid attention to every detail. They surprised us with a candle on the dessert, refreshed our plates, introduced the menu with care, and made the entire evening feel special—almost like a little show of its own. And the bartender definitely deserves a shoutout! We had one of the best non-alcoholic cocktails we’ve ever tried. A wider selection of non-alcoholic wines would be a lovely addition, but everything else was exceptional. We will be back again!

We had a really nice time celebrating our anniversary in the November Brasserie. The staff was very attentive and nice, and we especially appreciated Ana, who is very kind, very knowledgeable about the menu and pairings, and gave great recommendations. We sampled two dishes from the Raw bar, two appetizers and two mains. Winners for us were the tuna sashimi and the duck breast. The cocktails are also quite delicious. It is on the more high-end side, but I felt it was amazing value for money and would happily come back

Food was amazing quality for the price, it's the second time I come here and I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality. Raw fish options are amazing, and the duck main course was a big hit at our table. A number of many other dishes were very well enjoyed such as the scallops, and the simple bread with butter is amazing. Service, on the other hand, I have to be unfortunately disappointed this time around. It was a work event dinner, of 8 people, which indeed we have changed on the day of the reservation, as recommended by them (from 7 to 8). Big groups are never easy, not for staff, but neither for the organizers of the big group. Long story short: we were told that we cannot order individual meals, but a shared concept. We were going to, of course, order a few starters for the table, but it felt fair to allow us to each order at least the main individually (it ended up happening anyway). The explanation from the staff felt shifted as if the blame is with us, and now they had to deal with the inconvenience of us as a large table, rather than simply explaining that some meals will take a bit longer to arrive (reasonably). A few suggestions from my side (but what do I know): * create a few simple menus for larger groups preemptively, and allow them to choose when booking online. * announce from the moment of booking online that for larger groups this needs some adaptation * generally, even if the table is an inconvenience, I'd probably not let the guests know about it Shifting this last minute for a team dinner is not simple, and as a result this dampened the atmosphere for a long awaited dinner for people who are quite hardworking and deserve a reward. I will likely return, but not with a big group.

Honestly, after three years in Berlin, we finally found a place where everything feels perfect. The food is true art: every dish was unique, and the dashi jelly was a total wow. The only thing I’d highlight is the duck being a bit too salty for my taste, but everything else was exceptional. The service team is magical: warm, attentive, and ultra professional. Cocktails? Incredible. I would come back on some nights just for them. And the desserts put a huge exclamation mark on the whole evening. I’m already dreaming of April so I can put my birthday candle into your cheesecake. What can I say, thank you for such an unforgettable experience.

A very pleasant, tranquil atmosphere with attention to detail. The nigiri were outstanding, precisely prepared, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The other dishes were also good, but it's clear that sushi is their true strength. The matcha was excellent, and the service was friendly and professional. The prices are on the higher side, but absolutely reasonable considering the quality. For me, currently the best sushi experience in Berlin. (Visited in November 2025)

Was here in June for a girls night out on a Friday. I had an amazing experience with my two friends and we all enjoyed the food and drinks so much. Everything was played really really well and was “IG ready” when arriving to the table (colorful, aromatic, fresh). A reservation is required pretty much, so please reserve seating.

10/10 service! David took excellent care of us all evening and was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant. Highly recommended!

Amazing food and service. Def a must if you come here is to try the nigiris. The homemade bread was a really nice surprise, because of how good it was. We loved the croquettes and duckbreast. For dessert we had the cheesecake, which I can recommend. The service was great as well. We were not able to sit in the bar in front of the kitchen, which is what a lot of people recommend as part of the experience. So try to book ahead if you want to sit in the bar.

We were at Novemver Brasserie last Saturday and had a wonderful evening. The food was absolutely fantastic. The prawns and king crab croquettes were my favorites. The cocktails were perfect, and the sake was also delicious. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and we received excellent recommendations – thank you, David! :) I'll definitely be back!

Best sushi on this side of Japan! The chef recommendation platter was magical and I can't recommend the duck as a main course enough. Absolutely melted on the tongue. I tried two different alcohol free drinks and truly enjoyed them!.Service is attentive and impeccable! Make sure to place your reservation in time..it's hard to get a table but so worth the wait!

What can we say… even after a day, we're still blown away by the quality we experienced. From the service and stylish decor to the top-notch sushi artistry, it's hard, if not impossible, to find a comparable experience in Berlin. Honestly one of the best restaurants in Berlin. Never disappoints. Anna was a lovely server and did a great job even for her first day!

Evrything from the service to food to atmosphere was perfect! We made sure to book in advance as it is always fully booked during the weekend and for a reason!!!! The Tuna Tostada was soooo good along with the torched salmon, the Tuna Toro amazingly fresh. The SeaBass was perfectly coocked and the Aubergine with peanut butter was something i never thought i’d ever try but was epic:) definitely coming back

My favorite restaurant in Berlin; I've been here at least 20 times. The best sashimi and outstanding quality of all the dishes. There's really nothing to criticize, but please bring back the Matcha Lava Cake.

I’ve been coming here quite often, and it’s always a challenge to get a table – definitely one of the most popular restaurants in Berlin. The atmosphere is lively, the service is friendly and professional, and overall it’s a good place. That said, I feel the food quality has slipped a little over time, though maybe that’s just my impression. It’s still enjoyable, but for the prices charged it sometimes feels a bit expensive for what it is. Their sister restaurant in Charlottenburg, The Catch, is also very good and comes with a friendlier price point.

Unique! Perfect! A must at least twice a year :)) Looking forward to November, then we'll be back.

Amazing produce, executed very well. Almost a 5/5. Reducing one star for the soft white bread where another alternative would have been nice.Especially with all the raw fish a more savoury bread would be appreciated. All the best, keep it up!

This was my third time at this incredibly wonderful restaurant. The food is perfectly balanced in terms of flavor. The quality is outstanding. However, the service yesterday topped everything. Anna was absolutely dedicated. A fantastic server who knows her stuff. She left us more than satisfied and guided us perfectly through the evening. The ambiance is unbeatable anyway. I'd be happy to come back again.

I don’t eat out as much in Berlin, let alone order seafood cos the food scene here is not as impeccable as Paris, Barcelona or London. November wowed us: especially the food (standouts: salmon carpaccio, torched salmon nigiri, sea bass) and service (not pretentious at all, highly trained and well-managed staff, they know each others’ flow, sensitive of finished plates, highly knowledgeable). Me and my girlfriend sat at the chefs’ area, getting us front row seats + complementary nigiri that night. Incredible for a little date night or a group of friends. I never thought I’d get this kind of experience in Berlin.

Great dining experience. We ordered the Sicilian red prawns, bluefin toro nigiri and kohlrabi salad to start. All were divine. Then the duck and rissotto to finish. Great service and ambiance and exceptional drinks.

When was the last time I've been this satisfied with seafood in Berlin? The sashimi was excellent, the cocktails were excellent, and the side dishes were delicious. The knowledge of the ingredients was outstanding, and the two different soy sauces provided were refreshing. It was a shame that reservations were difficult to get.

We reserved a table for two people a day in advance. It's generally possible to arrive without a reservation. However, since almost all the tables were full even on a Wednesday at 6 p.m., I recommend making a reservation. The ambiance is very cozy and characterized by warm colors. The service is very attentive and courteous, and they are always available to offer recommendations. All the dishes we ordered were excellent. The sashimi was excellent, and the aromatic toppings chosen to go with it were superb. The duck breast was cooked to a perfect pink, and the combination with the carrot puree was truly delicious. The evening concluded with delicious cocktails and chocolate cake (although I was initially skeptical about the matcha cream, it completely won me over). Thank you for the wonderful evening. We will definitely be back!

My friends and I haven't eaten this well in a long time. The food was exquisite and perfect for sharing. The raw fish was excellent! You have to try the whole sea bream, and the hamachi, it's simply delicious.

One of the best restaurants in Berlin. Great atmosphere (both for date or dinner with friends and family), excellent service with friendly staff, and most importantly delicious food with high quality fish and ingredients. We went for sea bream, red prawns, scallops, tuna tostada, blue fin tuna toro, seabass, risotto, kohlrabi and miso glazed eggplant. Every dish was excellent. We paired our dinner with a bottle of sake. My only point of feedback would be to improve the sake list as it was quite basic and limited. Overall, definitely recommend and will for sure be back.

One of the best dining experience you can have in Berlin. I am a serious foodie and my love language is food. So, don't take it lightly when I say that this is my favorite restaurant. The food here is just exceptional. I have tried every dish on the menu and each one stands out in their own way. You can see how much thought have been put into perfecting the dish. Every element is well balanced. Their Cocktails are really good too and compliments the food really well. If you are wine person, not a big selection of glasses(bottles, yes) to choose from but the choices go well with the food. The service is also impeccable. They are very attentive, friendly and helpul. Overall, would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a good experience. The price to experience ratio is pretty damn good.

well, all was really tasty, creative, light and healthy- but nothing looked like when staged on IG- we were looking so much forward to scallops carpaccio- and it was smaller and totally uninspired- main fish portions were rather small for the mains. pity- the warming lamp outside went off on a freezingevening - surely the gas tank was empty too soon. and sitting outside was just next to the building site- which is not the restaurant's fault. but make a final booking only if it is inside.

Everything was outstanding, all food is like a masterpiece, service is great. Cocktails are great too and have a special taste. I think it’s a best Japanese food you can have so har in Berlin.

We really enjoy going to November. We always sit at the chef's table because it's incredibly exciting to watch the two sushi masters at work. The menu has a few Instagram classics that others come for, and otherwise changes regularly and is full of surprises! My personal tip for fine dining is that you have to take your pants off. PS: The team is super friendly, very well-groomed, and discreet.
