NOVEMBER Brasserie in Berlin

We arrived a bit late and yet they respected the reservation we had. The staff was super kind and professional, our waitress was constantly checking on us. We had a seat by the chefs board, very entertaining and the chefs were amazing too. The food was delicious and the cocktails were so refreshing (I would definitely say that the nigiris and scallops were the star of the night). I would definitely come back

Best food experience I ever had in Berlin. Pure magic.

The food was delicious, but the service was very scattered. If you charge a fee for reservation cancellation, it’s not nice that we came (5 min early!), then got told to wait outside. Our reservation was at the counter and when a couple entered after we had already been waiting, they were seated first; after we reminded her we existed the hostess was apologetic and had us continue to wait outside with a glass of Sekt. After we got seated there were long waits for food and we did not receive one of the dishes we ordered, only to find it still on the bill at the end of the night; we also saw an interaction with the raw bar chef where another table didn’t get what they ordered and he had already washed his knives and station and didn’t want to make it (understandable! But illustrates the communication problems that are clearly happening). The two hour reservation shouldn’t be a problem, but if you only get seated and order forty minutes into the first hour, then things become a little agitated and rushed. I’m sad to leave this negative review as I had been looking forward for ages to going here with my partner, but we both left impressed with the food and disappointed that they clearly aren’t prepared for the customer volume that they are trying to accommodate.

Favourite restaurant in Berlin, can highly recommend

Table wasn't ready at the reserved time, we should please wait outside. 20 minutes. No apology, no drink or anything like that. The ambience is very nice, but the food is mediocre and too expensive. Overall really disappointing.

Disappointing anniversary My partner and I dined there for our anniversary but unfortunately the service was disappointing. Right from the start we were informed four times that we only had the table for two hours - that quickly became annoying. The waitress was rude, insisted we eat the sashimi before the entrees, and later blamed us for not eating the last piece. The drinks were also watered down. Overall, an unpleasant experience - we probably won't be back.

The food is seasoned very well and you can eat fresh seafood. The staff were very friendly and humorous, so we had a great time. The outdoor seating area has a fireplace and blankets so you can dine even in cold weather.

Fine Japanese cuisine and stylish, relaxed surroundings. From the aperitif (Red Dot!) to the fantastic 4 courses, which are of course shared, a pleasure. Excellent service, warm but typically reduced ambience. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Outstanding! Among my top three gastronomy experiences in Berlin as of 2024. Went with my husband on a busy Tuesday night for the first seating around 19:00. We shared the Chef’s Selection of raw seafood, the duck breast, the turbot, and obviously the San Sebastián cheesecake. Best dish: scallops with tarragon oil, Kaviar, and lemongrass dressing. This plate is a class of its own really. Also noteworthy were the drinks - very good! Do go if you want to splurge on arguably some of the best quality seafood in Berlin. Don’t go if you are vegan, vegetarian, can’t eat truffles, or oppose yuzu. Special thanks to the highly attentive Service Team - you know what you’re doing and you do it well. When my husband left to go to the bathroom a waiter stepped up to the table, grabbed his napkin from his seat, folded it and put it back next to my husbands plate. For someone who’s been living and dining in Berlin for the past 18 years, I see November Brasserie among the few food spots that have elevated the service level in this city to a fine standard. Including 4 glasses of Pet Nat and two cocktails, dinner for two came to around 230€ excluding tip and I do feel every single cent was worth it. We’ll be back.

Excellent dining experience! Beautiful restaurant, great service and sumptuous food. First time here and we were open to recommendations. Starter was the delicious sashimi plate, highly recommend to sashimi lovers. Had the beef tataki, black cod and miso glazed eggplant… delicious! Will be back:)

The food was so good. The welcome was super nice, the waiters were so accommodating. The oysters were the best I've ever had and the tuna melted in your mouth. I think I have to go there more often now. The money is worth it for the culinary delights

It was the first time here, and not the last! All food that we ate was amazing. Fresh fish combined with sauces conquered my heart! I have never tasted such a combination of flavors before. It was an amazing experience with delicious dishes. Everything was so good and the staff was very kind and helpful. Absolute recommendation especially the raw fish section.

The food was phenomenal, varied selection of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. Price-performance ratio is 100%, we will be happy to come back.

Great restaurant with very special variations of the food. Unfortunately not 5 stars because the starters were significantly better than the mains. Unfortunately I found the service a bit too intrusive. A waiter was assigned to us, and other waiters also came and served us in between. For example, we only want a glass of sake at the beginning, but we were then told several times to take a bottle. A slightly more relaxed, discreet service would be good for the correspondingly high-quality ambience.

Everything is great! Highly recommended, an evening there is a unique experience.

As a polite pseudo-Japanese, I would say: "go chisou sama deshta" (It was a feast for me). Then it can get loud sometimes.

This was a great experience. It is pricey but if you would like to get this quality of raw fish, you might have to visit Tokyo :) would recommend almost everything from the raw fish menu. There are quite a nice choices in the other warm menu as well. Don’t miss out the milk bread and miso butter. It turned out to be a surprise hit. If you want to get some idea of how much to order, probably 3 dishes per person. The servers are extremely helpful

Now one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. With every dish that was served our excitement grew! The scallops were a smooth 10/10 and our absolute highlight. But also the brioche bread with butter wow wow wow 🤩🥰 The cocktails were also very good, the service was super friendly and calm, the atmosphere was very cozy. You have to go here if you love good food 🫶

Awful service -> upselling dish without communicating change of price -> forcing you to take a cocktail you have not even ordered -> you have a table for 2 hours and they throw you out before time is out just because you have already paid but just wanted to finish your drink Definitely not going back.

Good food. Don’t get me wrong. Bad service. Then expect the world for a tip. Rude and throw you out. Not worth it overall.

The November restaurant in Berlin impresses with its fresh ingredients. Every dish is a small work of art and the ambience invites you to linger. The service is attentive and courteous without being intrusive. An absolute must for foodies.

Had the pleasure to serve dinner at the counter right in front of of the two chefs preparing the raw fish! It was hypnotising to watch them work. All food and drinks we had were amazing, the raw fish is probably one of the best we had in Europe. The only negative I can say is that many items from the menu were sold out during our visit, but it was also a Sunday and with the restaurant being closed on Monday, this can also be a consequence of working with fresh ingredients. If you don’t want to be in a rush by the two hour time limit, just book a slot from 20:30. :)

The dishes and the atmosphere were great. BUT: I felt absolutely uncomfortable in this restaurant and that was 100% due to the service or the waiter who served us. The following situation: Two friends and I wanted to enjoy a nice dinner during the week. However, since I wasn't feeling well for personal reasons, I gave up alcohol, i.e. wine. When the waiter took our order and I politely explained that I wasn't drinking wine, all I got in response was a snide comment and a laugh. Throughout the evening I was smiled at pointedly or heard inappropriate sayings. Even my friends noticed this and they also found it inappropriate. It felt like a personal campaign against me, even though I spent a three-figure sum on my dishes as a paying guest. I will not visit or recommend the restaurant again. Too bad.

I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Food was delicious, the service was great (giving explanations about how the food is made, and how to eat it properly with the different sauces) and they even call me to know if I wanted to move my reservation for outside to eat inside. The 4 stars in Cuisine is because of the onigiri. I was slightly disappointed by the thinness of it. But nothing major. Can’t recommend more.

Amazing experience in Berlin! One of must visit in my opinion. Food is full of flavour, interesting combinations, fresh ingredients. We have ordered a Sea bream, oysters, nigiri Torro, eggplant and mushroom risotto. Finished it with mottchi ice cream. Cocktails and wine were nice though. P.S. Nigiri and Sea bream highly recommended :) Also wanted to notice service - it was on the high level. All waiters are friendly and attentive, so you don’t feel lost in their special menu. 10 out of 10 ❣️

The November Brasserie We were taken to an evening at this establishment via the Michelin Guide. The reception was very friendly and we were quickly escorted to our table. However, our personal service employee tryharded too much and was very young. Unfortunately, we didn't like the atmosphere of the restaurant because it felt cramped and the tables were too small. A time window of 2 hours is also OK if the restaurant has to plan with the few seats. But that didn't help the overall, somewhat stressful atmosphere. The food is really good! I thoroughly enjoyed it and the decor is at the level of an upscale restaurant. We also like the cocktails because they add a lot of flavor.

Great food, I really enjoyed the raw starters, for me it was the best part of the dinner. The fish was so fresh and the dressing was delicious. The staff was friendly and we could have a great time at November

A very nice place to celebrate a special occasion. Top service and a quality of fish that I have rarely seen in Germany. Probably one of the best places to eat raw fish in Berlin! Big recommendation

Had a fabulous dinner with the family here! Would definitely recommend. 😊 I forgot to book an extra seat as one member decided to join us short notice. They handled it perfectly and accommodated us nonetheless. The food was so good (definitely get the sea bream). Service was professional, friendly and not pretentious. Thank you for having us.

For those who aren’t fans of the typical fine dining scene, this place is a true gem. It offers exceptional food and outstanding service without any hint of pretentiousness. The nigiri was a highlight, though every dish was delicious. It’s the ideal spot for a special occasion that won’t break the bank. We’ll definitely be back—thank you!

Great restaurant food wise, the dishes were all full of flavour and fresh. The only flaws with this restaurant was the lights were randomly low which meant you ran into some of them and the air flow is terrible inside on a warmer evening as there isn't enough windows or air con to sit comfortably and enjoy dinner. Winter time this place would be fine, but on a hot day, I would go elsewhere, unfortunately.

One of the best raw fish I had in my life. And I would say top best restaurants in p-berg. Top top.

November is a must-see on the Berlin map. Delicious Japanese cuisine with the highest quality ingredients. The service was very nice and helpful. A great, casual atmosphere of a place where you will be transported to the world of excellent cuisine. I recommend the "inconspicuous" nigiri the most 👍

Very cool restaurant, nice, fast service, great food of super fresh quality. The fish is a poem, both raw and cooked. Wine list ok, nothing familiar to me. Unfortunately there was only one bottle of what I had chosen, which was only mentioned when the second bottle was ordered. Otherwise everything was great.

We were very excited for our reservation at November Brasserie - Unfortunately, upon arrival we were sat at a table that was bug infested (literally covering one of the chairs, and crawling all over the place.) When we pointed out the bugs, the waitress simply swapped the chair for another one. Thinking it was perhaps the first sitting and the bugs would not be a problem we tried sitting down to order - within minutes we had bugs crawling up our legs and invading our table. When we asked to move inside or to another table that was not possible. We decided to leave - and are still an hour later finding bugs crawling in our hair. Overall a very disappointing experience. Especially considering we booked this way in advance - and made a time-consuming and expensive trip across the city for this.

I was looking forward to having good food here, but I was very disappointed and I will never visit here again. The portions are extremely small while the menus are super pricy. Very overpriced overall. About the price, I get it but even the main menu was so tiny, I was shocked. This eggplant menu is a part of the main menu. However, how can you be full from this portion? After we had eaten several menus we considered ordering something else, but we didn’t because we just didn’t want to spend more money on this restaurant and we would not be full even if we ordered some more. The server experience was also not really great. The price of the restaurant is super fine dining, but the service wasn’t. They were kind but.. Speaking in English is fine, but couldn't you ask us first whether it’s okay to guide us in English? Hipster overpriced/overrated place. Food quality is okay but not worth it for the price.

There was only one English-speaking waiter and the portions were very small. As a result, the price-performance ratio was not right.

We had a lovely experience! The atmosphere was nice, the staff were friendly and attentive - they also helped us with suggestions, and the food was excellent!! The only issue was that our table was placed where staff often pass by and can bump your chair, which was a bit distracting. We requested to be moved, and the staff kindly found us another table. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here!

Great place with very friendly staff and the food was amazing. There were three of us and we ordered a set for three, but perhaps there was a misunderstanding and they brought us a set for two. However, the error was quickly corrected.

If you are a fish lover, this is the place to eat. The food was fantastic, the terrace is wonderful, the service was very attentive. We'll be back soon. Be sure to try the sea bream and the scallop carpacchio. Mega!!!!

Great dinner. It was a summer friday, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Good weather, fantastic food. We loved the scallops with miso-butter, and the tuna tostada, really tasty flavours.

Unpleasant experience. Spontaneous decision to eat after work, 1 person, around 6:10 p.m., 4 of about 16 tables outside were occupied. Cool, distant employee: sorry, we're full. Surprised look from the waiter too. Quote: everything is reserved in the next 20-30 minutes. Back after a good dinner at Umami, although I knew what I would find: now an hour later 6 of 16 tables were occupied. For those for whom hospitality is part of gastronomy: stay away. There are alternatives...

Came here for the first time yesterday, recommended by a friend A Japanese restaurant with a nice atmosphere and cuisine First of all, the waiter is very nice. Yesterday we bought a lot of white wine and champagne. The waitress introduced it very professionally. Thank you very much. A fresh snapper with their sauce is very refreshing The stewed rice is also amazing. The texture of the rice grains is very good. Pan-fried duck tongue is also soft and delicious The next steamed eggplant seems to be a simple food that can be paired with such a flavor. Eat it with green onions and ginger. It is refreshing and sweet. It’s worth trying here. Recommend it to everyone.

If I could, I would like to give 6 or 7 stars. Seldom eaten so delicately. The tuna shasimi is a dream that melts in your mouth, the turbot fried on the skin in miso sauce is heavenly tender and tasty. The chanterelle risotto is a “walk in the forest”. The cheesecake was perfect. And the Moselle Riesling is a detonation. Great! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Overall a good experience with simple yet interesting flavors and a friendly waiter. Unfortunately a popular dish was sold out and since it sounds like it often is, yet the restaurant has reservation slots late into the night, I believe this should be more transparent or done more fairly. Especially since that item probably would have been more value for the money in terms of quantity of food, versus the other dishes like the ones we ordered.

My wife and I had a very pleasant time! Quality of products and particularly fish at the top (finding good fish in Berlin is not easy). Very attentive, professional and friendly service (also hard to find in Berlin) and great atmosphere with a very nice design. In short, excellent address!

For fish lovers, this is an excellent restaurant choice. Vegetarians will also find what they are looking for here. The grilled cabbage was absolutely amazing. Also the kohlrabi salad. Actually everything we ate :) we will definitely come back to try the other dishes :) the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Titoine's service was an incredible 10/10. There was absolutely nothing to complain about here. Simply perfect. Food is also at a very high level. Price performance top. Definitely coming back.

Nice dinner, the whole sea bream was excellent in particular the truffle sauce. Tuna tostada wow+eggplant and cabbage amazing! Non alcoholic cocktail clearly underwhelming. Service can be improved. Overall a very good experience.

Best roasted cabbage I have ever had. The service was really nice and friendly, no much of a gap between starters and mains. I ordered one glass of orange wine it was really nice but the pouring was less than what I usually get or serve (I work in gastronomy as well) but overall it was a nice experience, I highly recommended.

I found the service to be technically unprofessional, latently stressed, but still friendly I really liked the food The sauces in particular were all great and I also thought the portions were good. I wouldn't have served the cappuccino (with the foam) that way and unfortunately it wasn't served hot/warm either
