NOVEMBER Brasserie in Berlin

We really enjoy going to November. We always sit at the chef's table because it's incredibly exciting to watch the two sushi masters at work. The menu has a few Instagram classics that others come for, and otherwise changes regularly and is full of surprises! My personal tip for fine dining is that you have to take your pants off. PS: The team is super friendly, very well-groomed, and discreet.

Wow. Where do I even start. Perfect service, 10/10. The venue made sure weeks ahead that we have the best menu tailored for us. The food was fresh, skillfully prepared and was exceptional. The staff are super friendly and professional, they tailored the perfect drinks to go along with our food as the meal progressed and were very kind. This is a super high-end restaurant that stands up to its name and prices. You get what you pay for and much more. I highly recommend this place, we had such a great night. Would definitely return.

The clear cocktail with miso (can’t remember the name ) was such a perfect match with sashimi & sushi! 🍸🍣 Shrimp wasn’t super fresh that day, still, the service and atmosphere were excellent !

Solid Japanese French fusion food. The flavours were very innovative. Really liked the flavours of the food, but I wish their raw items were a bit colder. The duck was also absolutely delicious and tender. The service was 10/10, and we really loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Even received a few free bites throughout the night.

This is my favourite restaurant in Berlin right now. The food is very high quality and served in a very elegant and tasteful way. The raw fish is absolutely exceptional and we order the gilthead every time we go there. Don’t miss out on the cocktails/ mocktails - especially the one with the shiso leaf. Perfect spot to go for special occasions or a date night (the seat right at the bar is the best). Go go go!

This was our second time there. The food was still fantastic. I think (by fine dining standards) you actually get a lot for your money! Unfortunately, we were rather rudely escorted out at the end of our time slot. We wanted to order a second dessert. The quote was, "You CAN finish the cake." Then, while we were eating the cake, they took our payment. We were still within the time slot, especially since we sometimes had to wait a long time for our dishes. We found this very unpleasant, especially when you're paying almost €300 for two people.

This was our second time there. The food was truly excellent and the prices were totally reasonable (for fine dining...). I think you get a lot for your money. Unfortunately, you're quite rudely kicked out at the end of your "slot." Very unpleasant! Quote: "You can still eat the chocolate cake." Then they charge you while we're still eating dessert. It's really not cool when you pay almost €300 for a (splendid and magnificent) meal. That was a real bummer.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. Everything melted in your mouth, the sushi was like a master's dish from Japan, and the different components in the dishes were perfectly balanced. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but for this meal, it's worth the money. We enjoyed it so much that we'll be back on our next trip to Berlin. EDIT: We went back again (September 25) after our first visit in January, and it remains the same: 5 stars in absolutely every aspect, from the atmosphere and service to the incredibly delicious sushi, cocktails, and dessert. We went home completely satisfied and happy, and I can hardly wait to go back!

A real experience, first of all the chef's table is the most worthwhile place in the restaurant, especially for food lovers. Secondly, if you like raw fish, this is definitely the restaurant for you. Of course there are other great dishes, I recommend making a reservation in advance.

Really enjoyed everything, only thing that coudl potentially be built on is atmosphere outside - perhaps candles or ideally some low volume music, though I appreciate the latter may be due to residents nearby. A great experience. Wonderful food and very attentive service. Our favorite dishes were the bluefin tuna sashimi and the duck breast with carrot cream, but everything we tried was great. Not cheap, but worth it for a special occasion!

Great food, great service. The sea bass with tomato jam is absolutely amazing. In my opinion, the best dish on the menu.

We keep coming back. Amazing value for money, attentive staff, even tho mixups sometimes happen. Fish on point and elevated mains. Don’t forget to try their signature cocktails.

The food is excellent, especially the whole dorada and the caramelized eggplant, which were both perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The wine selection is also very good, and the service is warm, attentive, and thoughtful — staff checked in regularly without ever being intrusive. The only small downside was that our table was located right next to the entry queue, which made it feel a bit busy at times. It might be better if that table were moved slightly, or not used during peak hours, to make the experience more comfortable. Overall, a wonderful spot with great food, wine, and service — I’d definitely recommend it and look forward to returning.

I visited November Brasserie yesterday and it was absolutely legendary. We were completely blown away – a true culinary experience, pure delight from start to finish! Every detail, from the atmosphere to the service and especially the food, was exceptional. Honestly, it felt like a culinary orgasm – unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!

Reservation: unproblematic, very positive that you can check availability of certain seating-options and take a pick (outside, chef's table etc.), meal-time is limitied to 2 hours, credit card necessary for reservation as usual in fine dining Facilities: located in nice area of Prenzlauer Berg, interior design and restrooms are tastful and clean Staff: very friendly, professional and attentive, they offer recommendations in case you feel overwhelmed with the menu, try their best to make wishes/adjustments off the menu possible, dish-composition is explained to you in German/English Prices and Payment: price-range adequate for fine dining (approx. 75€/person for 6 shared small courses + drinks) especially regarding the use of high quality fresh fish/seafood, payment by card possible Food: Menu in English/German, variety of fish/seafood dishes like Nigiri and Sashimi variations which are well selected, high quality and freshly prepared in a meticulous way by the chefs, but also some vegetarian options and some creations leaning more towards European kitchen Conclusion: Nice restaurant if you appreciate Japanese fine dining and fish/seafood dishes prepared on a high quality level, room for improvement could be in the uniqueness and creativity of the dishes (in regards of the many fine dining options in Berlin and question whether we would come for a 2nd visit) Favorite dishes: we will remember for their singular taste, would recommend and come back for a) the pointed cabbage with dashi beurre blanc and pickled mustard seeds b) the plain rice in a bowl, we ordered it as an addition and while it's such a simple component it reflected the very high quality of the cooking and understanding of the japanese kitchen

Easily one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to. The raw bar was extraordinary (and seating at the chef’s table a mesmerising show). The rest of the menu is punchy, innovative without stepping an inch into pretentious (something difficult to accomplish!) diverse and accesible. November is charmingly comfortable and aesthetic all around. What a gem of a restaurant.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Superb service, fantastic food, and truly wonderful cocktails. We visited from London last year and enjoyed it. We came back this year and it was even better. Can not recommend highly enough.

We had an incredibly lovely evening at the November restaurant in Berlin. The ambiance is not only stylish and inviting, but simply a place where you feel at home. We would especially like to mention our waiter! Unfortunately, we forgot his name, but he was fantastic! With great charm and expertise, he gave us great recommendations, some of which we followed, and we were rewarded with a true culinary feast. The scallops were sensational, the duck breast simply stunning! Probably the best duck we've ever eaten, and we eat out quite often. The sauce that accompanied it: a dream! The beef was also perfectly cooked, with a fine salt crust on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. We had kimchi as a side dish, which was so delicious that we would have loved to order it again. A special highlight was also the little gift from the kitchen: two nigiri with fresh sea bream. The best nigiri we've ever eaten! All in all, it was an evening that left a lasting impression and one we won't soon forget. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. For anyone in Berlin, this is an absolute must!

Very tasty! Great service! The restaurant offers a sharing concept. All the dishes are designed for sharing. The three of us ordered seven or eight dishes. That was perfectly adequate. The cocktails on the menu are also very tasty, though unfortunately, as is often the case, there was a lot of ice in the glass.

Nothing to claim. THe most perfect restaurant in Berlin. Wine list, food are more than perfect.

It was a great evening we had at November Brasserie. Food is excellent and high-level (in line with the prices) and staff do their very best to provide a very dedicated service, even when it gets stressful for them. The ambience (we ate outdoors) was magnificent too. It's a good location for a celebratory event, romantic or not.

If you like raw fish don’t miss this place. Oh, the cabbage is beyond! Great evening- we will definitely be back soon

This was our fourth visit to November - we like to go for celebratory meals and again, it didn’t disappoint. The thunfish sashimi is probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Highly recommend ordering some bread with it to soak up the remaining sauce. Cocktails were delicious. no complaints :)

A great recommendation if you're in Berlin. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the city! A very interesting menu with unique dishes. A lot of time and love goes into the sauces. The drinks are also 🙌🏼

We came here quite by chance based on a recommendation in the Michelin Guide and got a table on short notice that same day via the waiting list. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent.

I visit often Berlin and went in different restaurants but this one was on of the best in service and food. I would recommend to anyone who are in Berlin to go to November. The only what you have to take is a lof of money :-)

We had an absolutely lovely evening at November Brasserie. The food was delicious, though they were unfortunately out of the whole seabream (but this stuff happens and also we came very late). With how amazing the food was I am also not surprised. The cocktails are great and fit very well with the food without being overwhelming and taking away from it. Service was super lovely, David was very funny and attentive and gave excellent recommendations. All around we definitely want to come back and I would recommend anyone to go there

A culinary highlight in Berlin! Our visit to the NOVEMBER Brasserie was an absolute experience from the first moment to the last. We sat outside on a balmy Berlin evening – wonderfully relaxed, overlooking the hustle and bustle, yet quiet enough to enjoy the special atmosphere. The fish was a dream: so fresh you could almost taste the sea. The pièce de résistance was a whole sea bream served raw – of impressive quality, tender, and full of delicate flavors. It was accompanied by delicious sauces that perfectly underlined and rounded off the delicate, pure flavor of the fish. The service was first-class: attentive, warm, very competent in their recommendations, and always there at exactly the right moment, without ever being intrusive. You can tell that the focus here is not only on excellent food, but also on the well-being of the guests. Conclusion: If you're looking for exceptionally fresh fish, special preparations, and top-notch service in Berlin, you shouldn't miss the NOVEMBER Brasserie. We'll definitely be back—and hopefully on such a beautiful evening outside!

We were only in Berlin for a few days, but we would be surprised if there were many Japanese restaurants better than November. Service was impeccable and the food was outstanding.

One of the best meals I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying, November Brasserie’s menu is both perfectly balanced and accessible. The ambience is lovely, and you should definitely not skip on a cocktail or mocktail. Both drink options are divine and surprisingly affordable. For context to this review, I’m not normally a fan of fish or shellfish, probably because I grew up in a landlocked area without good seafood. I was determined to get over this aversion, and November Brasserie converted me into a true fish fan. Everything is fresh, umami, and aromatic. The textures are also incredibly pleasant, and suited even the picky eaters in our group. The restaurant operates on a motto of shared small plates, and if you take the wait staff’s advice and order 2-3 items from every section of the menu. The wait staff were incredible and this place is accessible to English and German speakers alike.

A dreamy ambiance! The service is very attentive and courteous. It was a lot of fun choosing the menu. There's hardly a dish that seems ordinary. Special extras always make the dishes a unique experience! Be sure to bring your time. You can easily order several courses one after the other here.

Everything was super delicious and fresh. Top-notch products, service needs improvement. The lady who served us was sterile, stubborn, and couldn't offer professional advice about the wine. But she did offer good advice about the food. At the end, no thanks for the tip, nor any goodbyes. Regardless, everything was great. Acceptable value for money.

We had nigiri, salmon carpaccio, steak, kohlrabi salad, sea bream, and chocolate cake. Everything was truly delicious and exceptionally seasoned and delicate. Even if you don't usually like fish, you'll get your money's worth here because the quality is so high. The service could be a bit more attentive.

Some of the best food I’ve eaten in Berlin. There are raw items (nigiris, fish or seafood carpaccios), some tapas-style items, and some bigger dishes, all perfect for sharing. It was an amazing meal, with very nice waiters. If you sit at the bar, you’ll see the amazing sushi chefs and bartender excelling at their craft. Addition after my second visit: The waiter recommended way too many dishes so we couldn't eat the last 2, that was a shame.

We've been to the November Brasserie many times and really appreciate the cuisine – the food is excellent and consistently of a high standard. The dishes are creative, freshly prepared, and taste truly top-notch. We're always happy to come back for that. Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated significantly compared to last year. At the beginning of our last visit, the service was attentive and friendly. But towards the end, the attentiveness rapidly declined: When we wanted to pay, we waited almost 20 minutes for the bill. Even though we already had the money in cash and made eye contact with three waiters, no one responded. It was only after we had to actively approach two different waiters that we were even attended to. This unfortunately significantly dampened the overall positive impression of the evening. It's a shame, because the November Brasserie has great potential – the culinary offerings are still excellent, but the service urgently needs to improve to make guests feel completely welcome again.

Excellent food and service! Aubergine, Risotto and Duck Tsukune were my favorites. A bit on the expensive side but given the flavors and service, absolutely worth it.. Also the cheese cake was by far the best I’ve had in Berlin.

The food and drinks were insanely good! We ordered the Chef's Selection, 2 sides, 1 main and 1 desert and it's difficult to identify our favorite. The staff was equally impressive. Our server was incredibly nice, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. The food runners also did a great job of presenting the dishes we selected. We got to sit at the Chef's table accross from the bartender. She made great drinks and had such a nice and friendly personality. Someone must have overheard us talkl about how it was my friend's birthday becuase one of the chefs gave us 2 pieces of nigiri and wished him happy birthday. It was very thoughtfully done! The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. We are already talking about when we can back.

We celebrated a birthday and were a group of nine. We reserved a table weeks ago and pre-ordered a 4-course-menu beforehand. It was raining with 17 degrees outside and they placed us outside underneath the awning. Unfortunately, the person sitting at the head of the table sat in the rain. When we tried to move the table further towards dryness the waiter rolled his eyes and was quite annoyed at us. His solution was to offer an umbrella, the person sitting on the head of the table could hold the whole evening. We ended up with a 1,300€ bill, which was expected and fine for the quality of food and wines we had. However, we ordered a bit of bread and they billed it with 2€ a piece which seems kind of greedy. Furthermore, there was a 10% service charge for pre-ordered menus. When I asked, what the charge was for, the waitress explained that it is very normal as they have to keep the restaurant running for other guests and therefore they charge us. This charge also only applies for invoices over 1,000€, I mean what the hell? We have never experienced such bad service and such a rip off in a high class restaurant. I will never go there again Update, July 22nd: To be fair: after reading this review November contacted us, apologized and after a bit of email correspondence they gave us a 150€ voucher to reimburse us for the evening.

Everything was delicious!! So exquisitely made, we sat just in front of the chefs and it was such a nice experience to see how they meticulously elaborated every dish!! We will definitely be back ;)

My husband and I spent a wonderful evening at the November Brasserie. The food, especially the "do radel" (a dish famous for this restaurant), was fantastic. Everything was fresh, delicious, and creatively prepared. What we liked most, however, were the extremely friendly and attentive waiters, especially Gabriel and Roman. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

There were two of us sitting outside. I found the service extremely pleasant and attentive (my companion dropped her chopsticks and before she even noticed, she was given new ones). The food is very high quality (and the prices too ;)). The quality and price were just right for me; you just have to know that you're going to get very high-quality food, then there won't be any surprises. I'm already looking forward to our next visit; we'll be back...

Ah this place is simply a 100/10.. everything. Drinks, (the red dot, Bijin, N5 really really good), food is out of this world, and the staff is soooo warm. One of my favorite restaurants!

A must-go in Berlin! We had an excellent evening at the bar; we love sitting in places like this; you're right in the middle of the action. The food was outstanding from start to finish, with the quality of the ingredients and compositions being of the highest standard! A great wine selection, and the cocktails are top-notch. The decor is very high-quality and modern; you immediately feel like you're in another city. That's the beauty of Berlin—it never gets boring! We'd love to come back!

It was the happiest day of my life yesterday and no regret at all to celebrate my birthday at november last night. All the foods that we ordered were so delicious, absolutely stunning presentation. Really enjoyed every bites of our foods last night. The service is also top notch, so friendly. One thing that I want to appreciate and highlight also was my friend brought a birthday cake for me (but not from in house cake) and the woman who greeted us in the front door, just directly asked us if she can put the cakes for us in their fridge. And i even said to my friend that I might be possible that no other outside foods allowed in the restaurant. But this kind of small gesture from the staff left such a great impression and we really appreciate it! Among other restaurants that I tried in Berlin, i could say that November's service is one of the best so far. All your staffs are paying attention to all details, especially when it comes to the service part. You guys are doing such a great job! The atmosphere of the restaurant is also so nice and cozy. I only have lots of positive things to say about this place! I definitely will come back again and again and again. I ordered a bottle of orange pig wine, which was delicious with sea bream sashimi. The seared salmon sushi and turbot were also amazing and delicious. Thank you for the birthday dessert and Yuzucello
