A very nice place to celebrate a special occasion. Top service and a quality of fish that I have rarely seen in Germany. Probably one of the best places to eat raw fish in Berlin! Big recommendation

Had a fabulous dinner with the family here! Would definitely recommend. 😊 I forgot to book an extra seat as one member decided to join us short notice. They handled it perfectly and accommodated us nonetheless. The food was so good (definitely get the sea bream). Service was professional, friendly and not pretentious. Thank you for having us.

For those who aren’t fans of the typical fine dining scene, this place is a true gem. It offers exceptional food and outstanding service without any hint of pretentiousness. The nigiri was a highlight, though every dish was delicious. It’s the ideal spot for a special occasion that won’t break the bank. We’ll definitely be back—thank you!

Great restaurant food wise, the dishes were all full of flavour and fresh. The only flaws with this restaurant was the lights were randomly low which meant you ran into some of them and the air flow is terrible inside on a warmer evening as there isn't enough windows or air con to sit comfortably and enjoy dinner. Winter time this place would be fine, but on a hot day, I would go elsewhere, unfortunately.

Unfortunately there was only one bottle of what I had chosen, which was only mentioned when the second bottle was ordered. Otherwise everything was great.

November is a must-see on the Berlin map. Delicious Japanese cuisine with the highest quality ingredients. The service was very nice and helpful. A great, casual atmosphere of a place where you will be transported to the world of excellent cuisine. I recommend the "inconspicuous" nigiri the most 👍

There was only one English-speaking waiter and the portions were very small. As a result, the price-performance ratio was not right.

We were very excited for our reservation at November Brasserie - Unfortunately, upon arrival we were sat at a table that was bug infested (literally covering one of the chairs, and crawling all over the place.) When we pointed out the bugs, the waitress simply swapped the chair for another one. Thinking it was perhaps the first sitting and the bugs would not be a problem we tried sitting down to order - within minutes we had bugs crawling up our legs and invading our table. When we asked to move inside or to another table that was not possible. We decided to leave - and are still an hour later finding bugs crawling in our hair. Overall a very disappointing experience. Especially considering we booked this way in advance - and made a time-consuming and expensive trip across the city for this.

I was looking forward to having good food here, but I was very disappointed and I will never visit here again. The portions are extremely small while the menus are super pricy. Very overpriced overall. About the price, I get it but even the main menu was so tiny, I was shocked. This eggplant menu is a part of the main menu. However, how can you be full from this portion? After we had eaten several menus we considered ordering something else, but we didn’t because we just didn’t want to spend more money on this restaurant and we would not be full even if we ordered some more. The server experience was also not really great. The price of the restaurant is super fine dining, but the service wasn’t. They were kind but.. Speaking in English is fine, but couldn't you ask us first whether it’s okay to guide us in English? Hipster overpriced/overrated place. Food quality is okay but not worth it for the price.

We had a lovely experience! The atmosphere was nice, the staff were friendly and attentive - they also helped us with suggestions, and the food was excellent!! The only issue was that our table was placed where staff often pass by and can bump your chair, which was a bit distracting. We requested to be moved, and the staff kindly found us another table. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here!

Great place with very friendly staff and the food was amazing. There were three of us and we ordered a set for three, but perhaps there was a misunderstanding and they brought us a set for two. However, the error was quickly corrected.

If you are a fish lover, this is the place to eat. The food was fantastic, the terrace is wonderful, the service was very attentive. We'll be back soon. Be sure to try the sea bream and the scallop carpacchio. Mega!!!!

Great dinner. It was a summer friday, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Good weather, fantastic food. We loved the scallops with miso-butter, and the tuna tostada, really tasty flavours.

Surprised look from the waiter too. Quote: everything is reserved in the next 20-30 minutes. Back after a good dinner at Umami, although I knew what I would find: now an hour later 6 of 16 tables were occupied. For those for whom hospitality is part of gastronomy: stay away. If I could, I would like to give 6 or 7 stars. Seldom eaten so delicately. The tuna shasimi is a dream that melts in your mouth, the turbot fried on the skin in miso sauce is heavenly tender and tasty. The chanterelle risotto is a “walk in the forest”. The cheesecake was perfect. And the Moselle Riesling is a detonation. Great! Thank you for the lovely evening!

Yesterday we bought a lot of white wine and champagne. The waitress introduced it very professionally. Thank you very much. A fresh snapper with their sauce is very refreshing The stewed rice is also amazing. The texture of the rice grains is very good. Pan-fried duck tongue is also soft and delicious The next steamed eggplant seems to be a simple food that can be paired with such a flavor. Eat it with green onions and ginger. It is refreshing and sweet. It’s worth trying here. Recommend it to everyone.

Overall a good experience with simple yet interesting flavors and a friendly waiter. Unfortunately a popular dish was sold out and since it sounds like it often is, yet the restaurant has reservation slots late into the night, I believe this should be more transparent or done more fairly. Especially since that item probably would have been more value for the money in terms of quantity of food, versus the other dishes like the ones we ordered.

My wife and I had a very pleasant time! Quality of products and particularly fish at the top (finding good fish in Berlin is not easy). Very attentive, professional and friendly service (also hard to find in Berlin) and great atmosphere with a very nice design. In short, excellent address!

For fish lovers, this is an excellent restaurant choice. Vegetarians will also find what they are looking for here. The grilled cabbage was absolutely amazing. Also the kohlrabi salad. Actually everything we ate :) we will definitely come back to try the other dishes :) the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Best roasted cabbage I have ever had. The service was really nice and friendly, no much of a gap between starters and mains. I ordered one glass of orange wine it was really nice but the pouring was less than what I usually get or serve (I work in gastronomy as well) but overall it was a nice experience, I highly recommended.

Spot on, probably one of the best authentic Japanese place you can get in berlin besides SAN. The fish is incredibly fresh. The sashimi nigiri mix is worth the price. We loved the oyster, the nigiris, from hamachi over scallops etc. skip the kohlrabi salad, I wasn’t a fan of the avocado cream. It was fresh but not wow. Skip the scallops with truffle miso, sounds better than it sounds and was more on the heavier side. The shrimp was really good on the sashimi platter! Super fresh Cheesecake is a must order despite the price. It’s creamy, tasty and had a mix of crème brûlée cheese cake Service is spot on too. Attentive, nice, and accommodating. Our service name was Tim. He did NOT asked for us to put down his name but he’s been phenomenal and November brasserie is lucky to have him!

We had the Dorade, scallops & the halibut. Paired with white wine. Service was great, food quality is insane. Didn’t really get the truffle sauce with the Dorade but the other sauces were great. Can definitely recommend. For three people all in all 260€.

The best place to eat non-trivial Japanese in Berlin, I am Italian from southern Italy and I pay a lot of attention to the freshness of the fish and this one after 12 years in Berlin seemed more than excellent!

Excellent, local Japanese restaurant that is worth the journey out to. We were surprised, on arrival, to be told we were 7 minutes early and to come back later. However, in spite of initial impressions, we’re glad we did return as the quality of the sushi and raw fish dishes is fantastic. Great flavours and combinations. Lovely atmosphere and all the other staff were super friendly and accommodating. Recommended - especially the salmon carpaccio and turbot with a fabulous miso, beurre blanc sauce.

We got the tip from a friend and I was pleasantly surprised. The kohlrabi salad was such a surprise! The cod is a poem and the beef is just as fantastic. The meal is designed to be shared and the dishes come almost entirely without any side dishes, we were told. So be brave and have extra bread and salad! Despite all my sympathy, I don't really like having to clear away a portion during the meal and of course you sit very tightly, but that's complaining at a high level. It is strongly recommended to make a reservation. We witnessed how some guests unfortunately had to leave. But I hope for their sake that they come back. Thanks for the perfect dinner!

This was a fantastic meal and great customer service. There was a bit of confusion getting to the bottom of gluten free options but afterwards it was smooth sailing and one of the best meals I've had in Berlin. It's definitely expensive but completely worth it my opinion. The cocktails compliment the food quite nicely!

Honestly, a huge disappointment. Service was inattentive, our wine and water glasses were empty most of the time, so we refreshed it by ourselves. Moreover, the service in general was in my opinion not exceptional. We were served by 3 different people which brought some confusion indeed. It was very hot in the hall without air conditioning. Risotto was overcooked and was comparable to a porridge. Did not eat the dish and furthermore informed a waiter about the issue. The dish was still on the bill. It is not about the money, more about the way you work with clients. Imagine a guest did not eat a main course at all. And there is no reaction from the service staff. Sounds strange, isn’t?

Found the place in the Michelin guide, but was unfortunately disappointed. It seemed like they were busy so we waited a long time to order and it was all a bit chaotic. We were told that the seafood platter was fine for 3 people, but several of the things there were only 2 pieces of, had we known that, we would have just ordered extra. They hadn't really listened when we ordered the food, so we weren't served bread, but it was on the bill and we didn't get the salad either, it wasn't on the bill, so we finally chose to close the bill and leave a little sad over the election. Conclusion: Friendly staff and good quality, but the overall experience means that we cannot recommend the place and will not come again.

Celebrating a special occasion, we chose November in Prenzlauer Berg, a restaurant that has long been on our radar. The Food The cuisine is exceptional, with an emphasis on freshness and flavor. The €100 sushi platter is a masterpiece of culinary perfection, compelling enough to warrant a return visit solely for this dish. All other offerings maintain a similarly high standard. The Wine List The wine list is thoughtfully curated, featuring a delightful selection of champagne and white wines. Both choices were exquisite, prompting us to search for them to enjoy at home. The Interior The interior design is elegant but warm, creating a sophisticated ambiance with a casual twist. They seem to emulate japanese style listening bars with their built in speakers. A humorous moment occurred when we were offered a highly recommended table, which amusingly turned out to be situated directly in front of the restroom. The Menu The menu, while diverse, presents some organizational challenges. Sushi is prominently placed at the top, followed by starters and mains, the latter being modest in portion size. Notably absent are carbohydrate accompaniments such as rice. The service sequence appeared somewhat unstructured, with two of our three starters arriving before the sushi, and the third after we had finished the sushi. The Service Service, though attentive and courteous, occasionally felt overly formal and lacking in genuine warmth. It all felt a tad overwhelming at times too. Each dish presented was purported to be the waiter's favorite, and the frequent inquiries about our satisfaction—repeated by multiple staff members—became somewhat tiresome. A recommendation for the service team: adopt a more relaxed and natural approach, allowing for a more effortless interaction with guests. Also have a unified approach when handling the guests. Maybe we had a few waiters that were new to the team. Overall Experience In summary, November offers a beautiful dining environment with excellent cuisine and a dedicated team. However, a more relaxed service approach would enhance the overall dining experience. The clientele during our visit included many affluent locals and business professionals, which may influence the atmosphere. A return visit for the sushi platter at the chef’s counter is is already being planned :-)

Very cute spot, the service wasn't what I would expect from a Michelin guide restaurant. They were pretty slow giving us water and dessert. We only had the table for two hours, so we didn't think the slowness was fair, as we had to hurry on the dessert in the end. The food was delicious, especially the scallop carpaccio. I was a little disappointed in the gamba roja risotto, as the flavours were lacking.

Chaotic reservation processes but good food. The raw sea bream was really excellent, and the toro carpaccio was also very good. The other dishes we ordered were good to very good (own and personal opinion). The service was somewhat chaotic (at least for the price range) but the explanations to our questions were answered very competently. In summary... good restaurant in a price range where being "excellent" is mandatory. And that also includes impeccable service. I am not dissatisfied with the experience in any way.
