The food is really good, but also very expensive. Just like the wine. Been there twice now, and both times the landlord was very moody...

Nice service, unfortunately the pizza was a bit too cheese-heavy for me.

The café has now become a great Italian restaurant. Classic in the best sense. Instead of jazzy Insta-attitude, there is a genuinely cozy atmosphere and good portions of delicious food. Unnecessary waiter ballet or fabric tablecloths are not offered - instead there is homemade pasta. I had tortellini panna & prosciutto and my companion had pasta with salmon. First of all, carpaccio - everything was great. We'll be back!

Notre Dame is the friendliest and most charming restaurant I know in all of Hanover. The service is first-class, warm, and informal—you just feel completely at home. The atmosphere is intimate, everyone knows each other, and the food is simply wonderful. Add to that the fantastic prices—what more could you want? An absolute must for anyone in Linden! And honestly: This is the best pizza in all of Hanover. A definite recommendation!

Pizza was very good. The dough was pleasantly thin, the amount of topping was just right and the level of preparation was also great.

The pizzas are particularly recommended, very tasty! The boss knows his craft, is very nice and also fulfills the guest's wishes that differ from the menu. I like coming here.

The waiter (probably the boss) was hectic and even abrupt. The ambience is OK. The food less. The white bread served at the beginning was moderately fresh, and there was also a bowl of parmesan cheese. You should probably use some oil for this. My ravioli was swimming in an indefinable soup that was supposed to consist of butter and sage. The pizza had plenty of cheese and the tomato soup (quite spicy) probably came from a can. Unfortunately, the tiramisu wasn't convincing at all either. The typical taste of coffee was completely missing. What the "...own grain production..." praised in the card is supposed to achieve is beyond my understanding. How do you end up making your own ravioli from your own grain (from the farm)?

We recently went to Notre Dame for the first time and got a place for two straight away without a reservation. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food (pizza and a pasta dish) was very tasty. The pizza dough in particular had the right balance of crunch and fluffiness and the mushrooms were fresh and not canned. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to come back.

A wonderful evening. The two of us tried pizza and pasta. It tasted great, after the certain waiting time conveyed that it was actually being cooked and prepared rather than just reheated (as you increasingly hear in kitchens). The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and very personable service, pleasant guests, appealing music (that evening from the 1980s). We were 100% satisfied and will definitely come back and try more dishes!

Very friendly and extremely competent staff (service staff has an overview of their tables without being "disturbing"). Italian charm. The food is very tasty, from the starters to the main courses to the dessert. Homemade flour for pizza dough and pasta. I really enjoy going here again.

Italian food restaurant with a simple but varied menu of dishes (already known to many). One of the few restaurants where you can ask for eggs to be added to your pizza (in case you want to maintain a high daily protein intake)

Extremely unfriendly staff – never again! I was in this store today with a friend because we were looking at the display and were curious. When we went in, the waiter reprimanded us in an incredibly rude way: “You can't just choose a seat here!” The tone was so dismissive that we were completely horrified. Instead of welcoming us politely or informing us whether a reservation was necessary or whether there were other rules to follow, we were treated like unwanted guests right from the start. We felt extremely uncomfortable and left the store straight away. We have never experienced anything like this and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Such treatment simply has no place in the hospitality industry!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!

Never again. There are spelling errors on the menu. Spaghetti Carbonara has cream! The noodles are not salted, or at least not enough, they are bland and tasteless. The waiter is rude. As soon as we arrived and brought two tables together so we could sit comfortably, he came and said "I hate this". Not exactly a good start. We had to go inside for the bill, even though other tables outside had paid. Waste of money.

I would like to agree with the more critical opinions here. The Notre Dame wants to be a bar bistro restaurant and is really none of that. It is rustic in terms of decor, food, wine and service. The waiter (of horror) who is mentioned again and again is very unprofessional, often insulting, poorly informed about the food, etc. I often ate there, more expensively (at least €30) from the so-called extra menu. Just a small sample of his behavior: 1. Question: What is an Ortolani salad? Answer: These are just garden vegetables Wrong answer in a completely misplaced tone. 2. He tried to serve parmesan with the fish. When I asked whether people eat parmesan with fish in Italy, his indignant answer was: Of course not, but all the guests here eat so much parmesan. Apparently he has problems with the guests. With this unpleasant manner he spoils the stay. This waiter has been criticized for years, but things aren't getting any better for him. In my opinion, the store lacks respect for guests at all levels. The owner is a farmer. Accordingly, guests are divided into milking cows and small livestock and treated accordingly. Since the beginning of the year, the price-performance ratio has really been a bit excessive. €33 for a fish plate was sporty. On the other hand, the previously somewhat acceptable quality of the daily menu is noticeably decreasing. More convenience products are being used and in one case they are also becoming too salty. The chef (who can certainly cook if he feels like it) likes to season the food heavily; the result depends on the day. In short: the quality varies. The furnishings of the store are a matter of taste. One guest looks at DIY Do-it-yourself work is benevolent, the other is not. Red Italian toy racing cars exude the charm of a teenager's room. Unfortunately, in the outdoor area you have the crème de la crème of the local alcoholics and citizens' money scene with correspondingly loud theater (loud music, arguments, ambulance and police operations) in front of your nose. You have to like that. The open wine is meaningless and rather flat and not fun. Especially since €9.50/glass corresponds to the most expensive bottle price imaginable. The supposedly home-made noodles are unpleasantly hard and crunchy to the bite, and cooking them for a long time doesn't change that. For a beer + pizza (I only say pizza Hawaii or with hollandaise) probably O.K. and with an average bill of €10-20 per guest, this is probably what is generally eaten there. Bottom line: Lots of hot Sicilian air.

Name of the restaurant is misleading. Service strange. Bruschetta good. Spaghetti with squid okay. Tortellini with gorgonzola sauce was an unprecedented disaster (pasta NOT al dente but still hard, small and with far too firm, indefinable filling, sauce like paste, terrible taste!). Dry house wine okay. Prices are clearly too high for what is on offer. First of all there was some bread with really good olive oil on the house. Nice move. Until you realize that the bread is completely over salted. To boost beverage consumption? Or crazy in love baker? Who knows. In any case, I know we won't be coming back. A pity.

Very unfriendly service from an older gentleman who wanted to teach us how and in what order we should eat. When we ordered he was very unfriendly, later he just wanted to take the food away from us even though we weren't finished. He also took the spices and olive oil away from us in an angry and angry manner, even though we were still eating. It's a disgrace that such service still exists. If you can't do it anymore, you should retire! The food wasn't particularly tasty and also very expensive compared to other much better Italian restaurants. We won't be coming back and don't recommend visiting there.

It is too expensive! We were also served by an older man who was unfortunately extremely unfriendly. We all ordered a drink and said we would see what we wanted to eat. We were then shouted at: “Here you are not only allowed to drink something, you also have to eat something.” I replied nicely that I would still look at the menu. And he complained again: “Yes, and don’t order food for two hours.” The whole time he looked grimly and shook his head. He also exhibited this behavior at the other tables. At the table next to us, he threw the guest's cell phone down with the bread basket and just cursed and shook his head instead of apologizing.

Bolognese & pizza with Parma ham were very tasty! After we waited a while for the service (boss?) to come back to pay and have the rest of the pizza packed up, we were greeted in the checkout area with "Sit down! I'm coming to the table!" received. After I kindly pointed out that we had been waiting longer, I was greeted with "I'm alone here! It's full!" trite. As I said, that's not my problem. I wasn't expected to answer that and I was quickly shut up and tried to smile it away. This is and was absolutely unprofessional and unnecessary. We won't eat here anymore.

I have come here many times over the last year but after recently coming here I have had to change my review from 5 stars to 2 stars. Prices went up significantly and the carbonara was my favourite dish, and the best carbonara I had ever had, but now used cheap ham now instead of the tasty bacon before. Was really disappointing. Additionally the owner/server was very rude to us. Would not go back.

Impossible service, very unfriendly service (I assume it's the owner, very unfriendly and snooty when asked). The quality of the food was average (pizza), which is not great cooking. Prices significantly excessive.

The pasta was completely cooked, nothing "al dente" and given the now very overpriced prices, this shouldn't actually happen. When asked a question, the particular waiter even reacted very impulsively and said in an annoyed and high-pitched voice: "I don't know what's in it, you didn't order me, you have to ask the waiter in charge." Nice right?! This was definitely the last visit here, as this was not an isolated incident. Ciao cocoa!

The Notre Dame is located exactly on the corner of Limmerstraße and Kötnerholzweg. As soon as you enter you have a comfortable feeling. The restaurant also stands out for the little things. For example, there is a set table on the ceiling and other small works of art. The ambience is very warm and radiates something special. The restaurant serves Italian dishes. Our food was really tasty, the service was also very pleasant. The prices are a little higher than at the Italian restaurant around the corner, but the overall package is definitely worth it. All in all a really worthwhile visit. Will definitely visit this restaurant again. Information about my recessions. All the information I write down here is a snapshot and completely subjective. When I visit a place a second time, my assessment may be completely different. If I find something that needs improvement and it has actually been implemented, I will of course also change my review. Were there in large numbers to celebrate. Food came out relatively simultaneously and was very tasty. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Service was super nice and even authentically Italian. We had a good chat with them in German and Italian. Definitely coming back.

Nettes Restaurant im Stadtteil Linden, gute Anbindung an die Straßenbahn und man kann sogar in der Nähe Parkplätze finden. Wir haben verschiedene Pasta Gerichte bestellt. Das Essen kam schnell obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war. Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker und wurden heiß serviert. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Sehr schnuckeliges Restaurant.Mittagstisch war eine leckere Tomatensuppe mit frischem Brot vorneweg mit anschließendem Pizza Tonno .Komplett 9 Euro mit Kaffee ca 11,50 Euros bezahlt.Komme wieder

Mega ! Der Service ist echt Klasse super freundlich,super schnell. Essen und Getränke einfach nur Klasse wir sind Sprachlos und echt zufrieden. Preis Leistung ist Top und echt gerechtfertigt. Richtig schönes Ambiente und die Speisekarte ist der Wahnsinn, da hatte einer richtig gute Ideen. Wir kommen echt gerne wieder! Würde euch echt gern das doppelte an Sternen geben. Ein sehr großen Lob an die ältere Dame So Herzlich wie bei Muttern:)

Ich war sehr lange nicht mehr so toll essen! Schade, dass wir nicht aus Hannover kommen, ich wäre Stammgast. Der Empfang war in Ordnung. Das Ambiente einladend, authentisch und nicht aufgesetzt. Der Kellner unaufdringlich, freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und sehr flott. Bar, Küche und Pizzabäcker auch sehr flott. Speisekarte genau richtig. Junior hat die Pizza umgehend bekommen, das war klasse. Die anderen Gerichte kamen dann auch alle schnell und genau richtig. Geschmeckt hat es wirklich sehr sehr gut. Wow das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Das Bier vom Fass war auch perfekt. Die Musik genau mein Geschmack und die Lautstärke auch genau richtig, nämlich eher leise. Die Stimmung und das Ambiente fand ich auch toll. Es war ein super toller Abend!

Perfektes Essen, schmackhaft und hochwertig. Super Service, (älterer) Kellner freundlich, kenntnisreich, unaufdringlich. Ambiente mediterran ohne jedes Klischee. Ein großartiger Ort zum Wohlfühlen.

Freundliches Personal, faire Preise. Leckere Aperitifs und gutes Essen. Die Pizza ist mittlerweile wirklich gut, habe ich vor einigen Jahren dort schlechter gehabt. Ich bin inzwischen gern hier und kann das Lokal empfehlen.

Das Essen ist zu 80% gut, aber eine Bedienung geht leider gar nicht. Sowas von genervt und gereizt und übellaunig, unglaublich. Ich frage mich wie lange kann ein Laden sich so jemanden leisten?

Wirklich schönes Restaurant, um auf der Limmer die Abendsonne zu genießen! Die Qualität vom Essen finde ich total okay aber geschmacklich kein Highlight. Dafür finde ich es leider etwas zu teuer...

Leute geht hin!!! Selbiger Name nur anderer Besitzer! Sau lekkeres italienische Küche und haben ihren eigenen Olivenöl.... Was will das Herz mehr!!

Ich war nun schon 3-4 mal hier. Das Essen ist lecker soweit, wenn auch preislich etwas drüber. Was ich sehr schade finde, ist das man manchmal keine Variationen oder Wünsche bekommt. Einmal kann der Auflauf nicht anders überbacken werden, das andere mal bekommt man keine Kalzone (nicht auf der Karte, sollte aber auch kein Problem sein, wenn alles frisch und Hausgemacht ist?!). Danach noch dafür gescholten zu werden sowas bestellen zu wollen oder sogar als vegetarische Variante ist für mich ein ausschlussgrund woanders zu essen.

Nicht nur Bistro, sondern auch Restaurant. Ein einladendes Ambiente. Der gedeckte Tisch an der Decke ist mein persönliches Highlight. Das fein abgeschmeckte Essen kommt schnell an den Tisch. Die Preise sind fair für die guten Portionen. Wir hatten die Gelegenheit mit dem Inhaber zu sprechen. Er erzählte uns von eigenen Familien-Anbauflächen auf Sizilien, auf denen er frische Oliven und Getreide anbaut. Die Oliven werden zum hauseigenen Olivenöl verarbeitet. Dieses Öl wird auf jedem Tisch im Restaurant zum Verzehr angeboten. Bei Gusto lässt sich dieses wertvolle Olivenöl flaschenweise für Zuhause erwerben. Die Pasta und der Pizzateig wird ebenso aus eigenen Getreideanbau hergestellt. Darüber hinaus ist der Inhaber ein Sommelier und berät seine Gäste gerne bei der Auswahl der passenden Weine. Bei der schmackhaften Küche merkt man, da steckt ein Gourmet hinter.
