Hello. I got two fish sandwiches there. Both were delicious.

Incredibly unfriendly. The colleague who served us said we'd eat whatever was there. And we were out of luck. No hello, no goodbye. Just unfriendly looks and stupid replies. It didn't taste good either!

Unfortunately, or rather fortunately, things are better at Nordsee elsewhere. Staff uncoordinated, slow, and bad-tempered. 15 minutes with a small line is unbelievable. You could hardly find the salmon in the wrap. I'm sorry, but overall, the price/performance ratio is not recommended.

The fish sandwich was delicious, and the view was beautiful. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, painters were working, which spoiled the atmosphere a bit.

Hello, we had plaice and potatoes. The plaice tasted like anything but fish, and the salad we had had been sitting for a while. The potatoes weren't fresh either, old and sticky. All in all, the food was just expensive and not to be missed. This was the second time this happened, never again.

It's a snack bar with a good selection, as you'd expect from a good snack bar. The staff is very friendly. We can recommend this snack bar with a clear conscience.

45 minutes before closing time, and all we had was completely dried-out fish. We've never eaten such dried-out salmon fillet and dried-out fish with mushrooms before. It looked truly sad on the plate: just potatoes as a side dish, no vegetables, no decorations, no color on the plate! The food was room temperature and stale. Only the teenager liked the fried shrimp 🍤.

The plaice was delicious. Eating it right on the pier is great, but the bottle collectors are annoying and more intrusive than the seagulls and pigeons. The price isn't exactly cheap.

The location couldn't be better, so far it was good...The food was okay. The restaurant is dirty, everything takes an extremely long time, and the employees work at cross-purposes...It wastes time and stress.

Seagulls circle, ships glide leisurely by, and a fresh breeze carries the scent of the sea and the harbor – right here, at the Landungsbrücken (landing bridges), this Nordsee branch is a small maritime gem. Those who stop by here will not only be served fresh, tasty fish, but also a taste of authentic Hamburg. The service is warm, the atmosphere relaxed, and the location simply unbeatable. A quick tip for app users: When collecting loyalty fish via QR code (iOS/Android), the staff sometimes seem a bit unsure at first. After a brief explanation, however, everything runs smoothly. For me, the positives clearly outweigh the negatives – delicious food, friendly people, and a harbor view that makes every bite just a little bit more beautiful. I'll definitely be back.

In fact, it was just double fried fish sandwiches and the saddest, almost brown lettuce leaves in the world. (around 5 p.m.)

We were here early in the morning – very pleasant, not stressful, and not at all crowded. The truffle fries and the fried fish baguette with truffle were absolutely delicious! The value for money was also absolutely spot on.

While strolling through, I saw an advertisement for a portion of fish and chips and ordered one at the outside counter. Unfortunately, there were very few left in the warming area, and when I asked how long these fries had been kept warm, I didn't get a proper answer, just a curt "they're the only ones left." Everything tasted good, so it was very disappointing.

The scampi skewer could have used some salt and pepper...it wasn't seasoned. The fish and chips box was delicious...the fries were hot. Everything was fine.

Our waitress was very rude and kicked the door against my mother's back. He first wanted to charge us at the checkout for things we didn't buy. After we pointed this out to him, he simply walked away and left us standing there without paying. When we finally managed to pay and sat down in the storage area next to the door, he eventually came out and gave me very unpleasant and unfriendly looks (he must have seen us sitting there). Then he went back inside. When he came back out, he kicked the door so hard that it hit my mother hard on the back and then ran away. Absolutely rude and a no-go!

The pollock fillet wasn't fresh, but rather dry, and according to my companion, the shrimp skewer was slightly charred. The whole thing was too expensive.

Most of the staff don't speak German. Nothing is organized, so you're lucky if you can even order.

Dear Nordsee Team, I have been a loyal Nordsee customer for years and visit your stores regularly because I really like both the concept and the products. It is all the more regrettable that I once again had an extremely disappointing experience at the Landungsbrücken store – both in terms of service and the tone of some employees. I was there with my girlfriend on July 10, 2025. A few weeks earlier, I had a negative experience there when I was told that they no longer had regular fried fish, but only the double version – without a plausible explanation. At the time, I was still understanding and assumed it was an exceptional situation. Unfortunately, my negative impression was confirmed this time. We each ordered a children's menu separately via Click & Collect using the app – about ten minutes before our arrival. Upon arrival, the employee informed us that the order screens were not working and that they prefer guests to order directly at the counter. I find this statement completely unacceptable when the online ordering service is officially offered and even advertised via rewards in the app. The employee seemed visibly annoyed, but prepared the children's meals anyway, but was unable or unwilling to verify our order. I offered to show her the order numbers or write them down – this, too, was refused. Instead, she literally said that we "shouldn't have ordered the children's menu in the first place." In my opinion, this kind of tone towards customers is unprofessional and unfriendly. Particularly irritating: We only experienced this type of communication in this branch – in other Nordsee branches, we have never had a problem with online orders, children's menus, or the ordering process. After our meal, we wanted to buy a regular fried fish at the outside counter – just like on our last visit. However, they again told us that only the double version was sold. When I asked, I was told that this was an instruction from the "boss" – that they should find out for themselves why a regular version wasn't offered. Here, too, there was a complete lack of customer focus, let alone any effort to find a solution or understand the situation. When I politely asked again, an employee left the scene without comment – thus abruptly ending the conversation.

No, if you are in Hamburg, you should definitely not go to Nordsee because it tastes the same as everywhere in Germany... Greasy baked goods with 0.0 taste and content

Sure, there are better fish sandwiches in Hamburg, but the value is really good. Just over 5 euros for two fried fish fillets in a sandwich is fair.

A very good restaurant. They serve the classic North Sea menu. Everything is well-prepared and fresh, and therefore very tasty. The staff is very friendly and, despite the busy times when I was there, they didn't seem stressed. The atmosphere is nice, especially the terrace upstairs.

The shrimp and potato boxes taste terribly dry and over-fried, and the shrimp are shriveled or of poor quality. I've been eating there for over 10 years and have always been satisfied, but what they're offering now is absolutely awful.

We were at this restaurant on June 26, 2025. All the tables were dirty and sticky. Even the (dirty) wine glasses were stuck to the tables. Even the floor was sticky. The cutlery was dirty (unpolished). The food was poorly prepared. Although the restaurant had just opened (11 a.m.), the restrooms were dirty (it smelled of piss) and the toilet paper was not refilled. Greetings to Hamburg, but we won't be going to such a dirty place again.

The food was delicious. I paid about €12 for a box of fish and chips and a Coke. You can sit inside or outside.

We came, saw, and ate. The waitress was friendly and even asked if we wanted our meals at the same time. My wife had a salmon and spinach pasta dish, and I had the classic fried fish with fries. Yes, there could have been a bit more fries. But it was very tasty, and nothing was dripping with grease. The only thing to complain about was the cleanliness of the tables; they should be wiped down more often. So, everything was fine as it was. I don't agree with the bad reviews.

Ordered food from a store yesterday – and it was the biggest disappointment of my life. I've ordered a lot in my life and have often been disappointed, but here I was proven wrong: It really can always get worse. Paid €18-19 – for just that?! I'd really like to know how that price came about. So little and so careless – I've never seen such a sad portion.

Great location and very friendly staff, a little insider tip if you just want to enjoy a delicious, inexpensive draft beer in the area. The food is definitely good value for money.

A catastrophe I got my "truffle" fries (the position was a joke for the money) and my dry "truffle" fried fish with a strip of mayo and then had to wait 30 minutes for the salmon burger. Would have liked to know how high the salmon content was?! In the meantime the rest was cold... For the price, the quality is subpar. The employees were totally overwhelmed, running around like a bunch of chickens with a fox in their den 🙈😭 Really smokey

I want to complain about a tattooed man who is really unfriendly and the employees are also unfriendly. I came and asked an employee if I wanted a bag and the employee said yes. And then the tattooed man insulted me because I was accidentally the teke even though the employee allowed me to do that. Everyone was shocked at how he insulted me.

All tables sticky. The plaice is dripping with fat and tastes terrible. The potato wedges are cold. No lemon with the fish. Employees overwhelmed. The boss (?) had to come first so that the app, which you MUST have for some dishes, worked. Fried fish roll was delicious. Sorry, but the direct view down to the harbor doesn't make it any better.

The employees there were very friendly. The only thing to complain about is the main course on site didn't taste good, it was very poor, only the salad with yoghurt dressing and the chocolate pudding were tasty.

A legendary fisherman where you can take a break while visiting the Hamburg harbour, there are plenty of options on what to choose and they make the best, the taste is first, the price is affordable, bon appetit to everyone who will try it.

Had pollock with fried potatoes. The fish was cold and the fried potatoes were burnt and only lukewarm. Plus a small 0.2 liter Coke, the whole thing for just under 14 euros. On the whole, they won't see me again.

Today we decided to use the first real sunshine to go for a walk and stop for a snack at Nordsee. If you don’t know, it is a fast food restaurant specialising in seafood. The staff was great, knowledgeable and very friendly. We choose the small prawn box with Remoulade and every bite was as good as the one before it. Perfect food for a sunny day at the Elbe!

North Sea restsurants are our favorite in other cities. The price-performance ratio is usually right. But here everything was lukewarm and the fries were soggy. Therefore too expensive. Too bad

Today I was eating in Nordsee Landungsbrücken and Mrs. Ute Oeßer served us and she was super friendly and provided excellent service And we were given the tip with the Nordseeapp so we were able to save at least 50% Yes eater was fresh and tasty Comments here again! But what I heard yesterday from guests on an excursion ship was that it's better not to eat in the North Sea because quality is not in the price-performance ratio. I asked the waitress outside the restaurant at the snack bar about it, what can I say, absolutely criticism-resistant! I can't recommend Too Good to Go at all. Fried potatoes were just piles of crumbs like leftovers collected from the customer. (Landed in the trash) Fish wasn't a hit either. All 3 servings were about like 1 1/2 servings. The business has slacked off, which is a shame. You basically paid 15 euros for 3 small fish, and that's expensive and only brings money into the shop's till, and the customer pays money for half rubbish.

We (woman/man in their late 30s) cannot recommend it. Maybe it was the time. We were there around 6 p.m. A lot of things no longer existed. We had a fish sandwich and wedges. The latter was quite cold. The worst thing was the service: very unfriendly, turned away while we were ordering and talked to others. On a foggy day after a boat trip, it's super comforting to taste these famous fish sandwiches. . We tasted the simplest ones, cold, with marinated herring and hot with the rectangular Alaskan hake. The price is attractive €3.99. Warm is our favorite for cold weather. . A big box of country-style fries 🍟 to complete the meal. €7.99. . Once the sandwich was devoured, we ordered another hot one. . The atmosphere is family-friendly, there are menus with soup and 🍤 skewers or even salmon steak. . I highly recommend trying these simple and tasty sandwiches.

So bold that you can almost laugh about it. Fish and chips with three pieces of fish and the rest half fried fries. That for a mere 8 euros, North Sea knows how to do it;) if they had at least made an effort with the fries….
