NORDSEE Autobahnraststätte Altenburger Land Nord in Schmölln

After a long drive, it was time for us to eat. North Sea is actually a good restaurant with varied food but this branch is an attack on your health, the rolls on display are radically dried out and the mix box on offer is adventurous. It consists of 4 components, the fries, which are acceptable, the scampi, which have breading that is far too thick, the fish filet, which was partly undercooked, and a threatening sauce, various of which were tried, with the garlic sauce being the most dangerous. After eating you had to ask yourself whether you should puke just to be on the safe side or whether you would give up and accept the food poisoning.

Very bad service. Didn't get what we ordered and it took far too long. Above all, rude service. The tartar sauce also tasted pretty bad.

A very unfriendly employee at Nordsee. We wanted to order the plant based BackVisch baguette, which was probably no longer available. The employee suddenly became loud and abusive. He began to lecture us that it wasn't real fish and asked us "how you could eat something like that", what "something like that" should taste like, etc. He repeated his phrases as if in a delusion. Even as we quickly walked out of the building, he called after us. Regardless of how you feel about a vegan/vegetarian diet: as a service employee you have to appear friendly.

The Corsica (blood revenge lovers know) for carnivores. Empty sanctuary, over-motivated sanitary facilities, falling ketchup bags driven by gravity (thanks for nothing Newton) and staffed with staff who find their daily motivation in the contempt for vegan people. But at least the fries were expensive.

Canned food and North Sea is already closed at 6 p.m. in the evening. There is exactly 1 ready-made dish at the normal checkout.

There is a spacious parking lot for vans and buses. There is a parking lot for children, there is a place to walk, wi-fi, shower, etc. The prices could be lower in a cafe.
