Thursday 19:00 there are still places in the tree.

3 (three) * for the shower (cabin no. 2) the water barely flows, there's no pressure, and the price is €6!!! But as they say, hygiene is priceless 🤣 The only plus is that it's clean. Parking is ok, large parking spaces and plenty of free spaces (Saturday evening). I recommend parking, but I don't really recommend the shower.

Gas station you get what you need

Ok, the parking lot is big and there is plenty of room for trucks. There are also two showers. A shower costs 6 euros!!!🙂👍

If you're looking forward to a delicious fish fillet and stop here, you're about half a year too late. As of early September 2025, the North Sea is no longer represented here. It's basically a gas station with a restroom. I'll leave out the usual Gusticus crap, as it won't be going into my stomach anymore.

By 6 p.m. on Saturday, there was almost nothing left to eat. The North Sea was completely closed, and there were few ready-made meals.

It was 9:15 p.m. We were very hungry. We were delighted that the little restaurant was open. Very good service. Very good quality. Thank you.

Shower not recommended, terrible water jet. €4 is way too expensive, truck driver rip-off. Even at the Hoyer gas station, you only pay €3 and get a decent (modernized) shower.

Baby friendly. Nice changing room and has high chairs in canteen.

We took a break and wanted a bite to eat. Two drinks and two bagels - €31.60 Furthermore, the young man, although apparently still in training, was very rude. He gave rude answers. When we asked about the offer, which we only saw later and which included a drink and a bagel, he replied, "Yes, I should have," when we grumpily mentioned that he could have offered that. Rest stop or not. But with those prices, we're sure we'll be the only ones avoiding this place in the future. Additionally, the bagels were tasteless. The drink was overly sweet. Very disappointing.

Large, quiet parking lot, there are parking spaces for trucks even on weekends, clean toilets, it costs €1, a ticket is issued that you can use in the car.

Very quiet and calm. On weekends the parking lot is about 50% full, maybe even less. There is a toilet, shower, they accept vouchers, you can pay by card in the toilet. It's ~6 km to the store, but there is a sidewalk along almost the entire route.

Despite 1€ Sanifair, toilets are only acceptable in terms of cleanliness. The prices, like everywhere else at the rest stops, are scandalously exaggerated.

Filling up is extremely expensive, but you know that in advance, it's just a motorway town center. Otherwise good range and everything neat and clean.

I paused there for 24 hours, surprisingly in the evening there was space for a truck, a nice parking lot, quiet and peaceful.

Stupidly filled up there at Christmas. 2.12€ a liter of diesel. Of course it's not a rip-off. Are the procurement costs. Everything has to be brought there via non-existent roads. Sure, fun costs money. The rest stop itself is okay.

We made a quick stop at this rest stop on our journey and were really pleasantly surprised! The toilets were very clean, which was really pleasant. I would particularly like to highlight the two ladies at the checkout – they were incredibly friendly and helpful. When we asked if they could refill our hot water bottle for us, they did so immediately and for free! This service was simply top and made our day. Thank you for the great stopover – we’ll be happy to come back!

We stopped there to charge our electric car. We were at the rest stop with 2 children (5 and 1.5 years old), there is a small but nice play area, the food was great. The employee at the North Sea counter was quite overwhelmed but I think he only started there. Everyone started somewhere.

Watch out for the exorbitant petrol/diesel prices! This is extremely higher than the current daily price.

I actually reject the expensive toilet service and the overpriced prices, but I can't change it anyway. If I hadn't been traveling with a tour company, I definitely wouldn't have visited the rest stop.

Fuel is a bit expensive, 1.59 in the city, 2.07 here, toilet fuel is charged even if you buy it.

Nice rest stop. The ladies helped me out with disinfectant because I had taken over a car from a sick colleague. (Corona) Unfortunately there was nothing left to buy. You don't often find such hassle-free help. It was a very specific problem and it gave me a good feeling. THANK YOU again.

What a horrible shop!!! On the one hand, the prices are really high, which you know from rest stops, but here they've gone a step further. One can also exaggerate!!! Toilet chargeable with Serways coupon issue. Staff was absolutely subpar, grumpy employees weren't able to serve 3 customers properly, so we and the people behind us gave up in exasperation. Terrible!!!

The food was sickening, the food was served and prepared carelessly. The pulled chicken box tasted like the fat from an old deep fryer 🤮🤮 the 2 penne bolognese were different sizes and the plates were not very full for almost €12

I stopped at the Altenburger Land rest stop on July 18, 2024. it was an all around successful stop. The cleanliness and the courteous staff were impressive and are no longer commonplace today. The toilet facilities were in great condition and had just been cleaned again while we were there. We were completely satisfied with the food at the rest stop. I hope that other cities will follow an example at the Altenburger Land service area. Despite the construction site in front of the door, the employees are highly motivated and friendly and accommodating. For me there are five stars for the Altenburger Land service area.

The employee at the Sanifair toilet shouts at guests while they politely ask for toilet paper. Impossible.

05/21/24 At this gas station, I forgot a wallet with documents and money in different currencies in the toilet. They returned everything except 900 euros. They left 500 euros to get home. I would never have thought that there are such rude people in Germany.

Another nice gas station with Ionity chargers for electric cars (4 pieces) and one Eon. Toilets at Serways are clean as always. There is also a playground for children and many benches with tables to eat.

Extremely unmotivated staff. We wanted to eat something around 6 p.m. and were first told that the North Sea had been closed since 3 p.m. Sure..... You should know logically 😜 You could tell that the employees were longing for the end of the day. We don't stop here anymore.

Eine etwas schwierige Raststätte das Personal ist sehr freundlich leider lässt der Service nicht der besten keine Nordsee Produkte zu bestellen und nur eine kleine Not Auswahl an speisen.
