The pizzas are super delicious, but when you wait over an hour for two basic pizzas, you're losing interest. Customers around us were getting their pizzas in droves, even though they'd ordered much later (sometimes half an hour). When we asked, they responded with, "Yes, your order has been placed" and "We'll brighten up your evening" – difficult. Conversation is also rather difficult, as the acoustics make it hard to understand anything, and you're more likely to just say nothing than shout at each other. Still, it's delicious once the pizza arrives :) Best regards

The food and service are good. However, you're sent away after a maximum of two hours. Unfortunately, this isn't an option for large groups.

The best Neapolitan pizza I've eaten in Germany so far! Great service; Giovanni is great. Ambience not exactly Italian and a bit loud. The food remains great!

called spontaneously and got a table for four people :) we were informed on the phone that there was only one high table available at the moment, but a low table would soon become available. When it became available, we were immediately informed and were allowed to move around - very good service! We were also very happy with the rest of the evening; Pizza was super tasty, service was quick and always friendly. we'll be back! :)

As a couple, we like to try out new spots and Nonnas has been unbeatable since day 1 and is the best restaurant when it comes to Italian cuisine and soul food. Unfortunately, the pizzas hardly tasted like they weren't seasoned properly. On the spinach pizza there were simply halved small cold tomatoes. But with an extra thick dough edge and a bit chewy. Well, really not good. The risotto was also very limp and quite lacking in taste. Too bad.

I still know the restaurant when it was 'Der Rabe'. Unfortunately the ambience has deteriorated considerably. Maybe they wanted it to look in need of renovation, but I think it needs renovation. The acoustics echo like in a canteen and therefore it gets very loud with many guests. I was really looking forward to the exceptional Pizza Bianco with figs, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The pizza had no taste at all and was really too expensive. For me, the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Too bad!

⭐️⭐️ (2/5) Nonna’s Pizza is actually our absolute favorite restaurant – the food is always incredibly tasty, the atmosphere is super cozy and the waiters are really friendly. We really enjoy coming here! Unfortunately, we had a problem with billing on our last visit in November. We were accidentally deducted the same amount twice. After we noticed this, we contacted us directly and were promised a voucher for reimbursement. But since then (now it's February) we haven't received a response despite several emails, which is a real shame. We're really only writing this review because we haven't received any replies to our emails and hope to get your attention again. We would like to clarify the matter because we want to continue to visit Nonna’s Pizza with a good feeling!

Neapolitan-style pizza has been very popular for several years now. For such a standard, the pizzas at Nonnas may be quite good. But it's also "just a pizza", and the tastes are different. In addition to the special nature of the Neapolitan pizza base, the quality and quantity of the toppings must of course also be evaluated: The toppings were good in taste, but not particularly generous in terms of quantity. For me it's just the minimum, where improvement is still possible. For the prices charged for a pizza! The price-performance ratio doesn't do justice to me. 15 to 19 euros for a pizza is quite an announcement. Drink prices are also higher here. Personally, I don't like the ambience as it reminds me of a canteen look. (The open, unclad ceiling exudes some warehouse charm). A cozy atmosphere is different for me - but here too the demands and preferences of the guests are different. But overall everything is fine.

I expected a lot more from the restaurant based on the reviews and stories, but I was really disappointed. The food came relatively late and wasn't really warm. Of course, this could be due to the busyness on a Saturday evening, but other restaurants do it better. To be honest, the taste left a lot to be desired. Even though the ingredients looked fresh and convincing, it just didn't fit. The pizza was very thin and the toppings were watery. The amount of tuna tasted extremely strongly of tuna and distorted the overall taste of the pizza, so that other ingredients could hardly be tasted. I had very high hopes for the pizza in particular. The service was nice but relatively slow and in my opinion a bit overwhelmed. We stacked used dishes and cutlery at our table, where there wasn't enough space for everything, to save work for the waiters, but they often didn't see the stacks and simply ran past the table. The ambience is nice, but the music is way too loud, which results in the guests getting louder and louder because everyone wants to drown out everyone else. Last but not least, Unfortunately, 5 out of 9 guests had to struggle with nausea and diarrhea the next day. One more, the other less. Definitely a NO GO! Things need to improve here so that it can live up to its “reputation”. (my opinion) And sitting the guests from a table to the counter because the place is already reserved for the next guests is an absolute disgrace. In any case, we will not miss this location and will not visit it again.

Very good Neapolitan pizza at Bunnemannplatz in Bielefeld. The Vitello Tonato is also recommended. Just a good modern Italian.

I haven't eaten such a bad pizza for such a high price in a long time... There was a high dry edge on the outside, very clear toppings inside, neither could be cut with a knife, no reason for me to visit this restaurant again... ..🤷🏻‍♂️

Food was great...the starter salad and broschetta was great. Honestly very easy...and the pizza with prawns was great...I can only continue to recommend...the staff was really nice and relaxed

Truly one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Can easily keep up with the big names from larger cities. Awesome creations, expertly crafted! Plus a truly authentic ambience and attentive service. The only point of criticism is the price of the pizzas. They are definitely a bit too expensive. But all in all a great store. 👌🏻

Great service - we got a table straight away even though the restaurant was very busy and the drinks came straight away - food very quickly too. Wow! :) Because of the positive experience, we also held our Christmas party here - everything went well. 🤩😋👍

Very tasty and plentiful pizza, risotto also very good, but quite a small portion. When we arrived we were immediately informed that the table was only valid for two hours. I've never experienced it except in holiday regions. Service was okay, not overwhelming. And it was quite loud - good thing, all the tables were occupied. Conclusion - ok, but we don't necessarily have to visit Nonna's again!

So looking forward to it but unfortunately disappointed...the food was very good. But unfortunately the service is not at all...training should take place there! Questions were responded to in a bitchy manner, no questions were asked as to whether everything was OK and during our 2 1/2 hour visit we didn't ask for drinks again. Our table was ignored even after calling for a hand gesture or speaking to us. We were allowed to look at our empty plates for 30 minutes until someone cleared them away. As already mentioned, the food was very good but unfortunately the service didn't make the food an outstanding achievement. Ambiance is just too loud, the music is blaring and the guests want to chat and are even louder.

All good, good quality in the selection of ingredients. Great service, with the option to vary the ingredients in case of intolerances. Pleasant, trendy crowd that makes you feel good.

Unfortunately we weren't greeted very friendly. It has to be said that unfortunately we arrived 10 minutes late. The first look from the usher was at the clock. Our table had already been given to someone else. But a new one was taken care of. This procedure is not mentioned in the reservation confirmation. This should be considered for first-time visitors to include. The food tasted very good and was very tasty. The ambience is very loud. This is partly due to the music being very loud here and the guests therefore have to speak very loudly in order to communicate. We'll stop here for another visit.

Hatte mir die Speisekarte angeschaut und verwundert, die erste Pizzeria die viele mir bekannte Gerichte aus Sizilien und Italien hat. Hatte eine Pizza Mortadella und muss sagen, ich war begeistert, selten in Deutschland eine so gute Pizza gegessen, immer wieder gerne. Der Service stand dem übrigens in nichts nach, super nettes Team.

Disappointing. The dough was tough, the pizza lukewarm and far too few toppings. For 15 euros it was also too small and definitely not worth the money. Will not order here again.

A very disappointing visit. After the food was cleared away, there was no service for half an hour and when someone came, they said that it was critical to order dessert now because our 2 hours were running out in 30 minutes. Impossible and just bad. With the request to eat quickly, dessert came after all. One of us ordered water and didn't get a new glass, even though she had drunk something else before. It shouldn't be that way either. In addition, the price-performance ratio is not right at all. €6.90 for 3 prawns? Very disappointing. The toilets smelled like a litter box.

I ordered a Verace pizza which also included buffalo mozzarella. Unfortunately the mozzarella was very cold, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge. It completely ruined my pizza experience. The pizza wasn't bad, but I've had better elsewhere.

Very nice staff: Even without a reservation, the young man tried to organize a table for two for us. We had pizza 🍕 which wasn't particularly convincing in terms of taste. The dough was very thick and the spices were forgotten. There is still room for improvement in terms of taste. For my taste, the atmosphere is “student cafe type”. The waitresses at the table were a bit unfriendly. All in all it was okay; But I don't recommend it and I won't repeat it either.

Good starters (had olives & mushrooms --> decent portions and cheap price) Pizza was really tasty. But I couldn't say whether Nonna's or Capvin is better. Service was great, the waitress was super friendly and attentive. The only thing I personally didn't find particularly comfortable was the seating at the table for two. I would go there again!!

Being a service worker is not an easy job, there is a lot of passion behind it, a positive charisma and FRIENDLINESS!!!

We ordered a white wine spritzer & a beer as well as the mixed starter platter for two. The drinks came quickly and the unfortunately warm beer was exchanged straight away. The antipasti platter was surprisingly rich and attractively presented. Unfortunately, the grilled red onions tasted rotten in spots and the burrata was fermented. Our complaint was ignored in annoyance and neither an exchange nor a price reduction was offered. SHAME!

I know it's all a matter of taste but this shop made me enjoy it again, I love the food there and would even pay €100 for a pizza like that - the pizza bakers are from Moses ♥️

Currently "only" 4 stars because I just had a pizza delivered and wanted to see the ambience and service for myself in person. I thought the pizza tasted really nice, so I'll be stopping by to eat there soon. But in terms of taste it already gives a clear recommendation.

The service is friendly and quick. The food came just as quickly and the pizza tasted very tasty. In summer you can also sit outside. In my opinion, the ambience (inside) could be improved, but it doesn't bother me personally - especially if you sit outside in the summer.

Nice restaurant with the option of sitting inside or outside. I had a pizza with ham and thin slices of pineapple on it. It was good (nothing more) but quite expensive. At around €15 I thought it was quite expensive. There wasn't even a large Coke. Only 0.2l. The waiter seemed a bit confused but everyone was really very friendly. The service team certainly needs to get used to it - we had long waiting times for food and the bill even though the store wasn't that full.

The food itself was quite good. The only thing that bothered me was the tomato sauce. It had hardly any flavor and almost no spices. The pizza bianco was really tasty. Unfortunately, the long waiting time (on a Monday around 5:30 p.m.) made our impression worse. We waited over 50 minutes for 3 pizzas, even though more than half the tables were free. The drinks only arrived 2-3 minutes before the pizzas. So we sat for almost 50 minutes without drinking. Instead of Radler I got a normal beer (without Sprite).

Excellent pizza (Uncle Giovanni would be proud), but the beer selection leaves a lot to be desired. There is only König Pilsener on tap, which is really not one of the best beers that Germany or possibly Italy has to offer. However, this is the only negative point to note about this extremely good restaurant.

It was full but unfortunately you had to wait 30 minutes for a condition. This only came after a note from the main waiter. Already walked past the table 3 times before. Unfortunately the furnishings on the terrace are very spartan. Food was good.

One of the best spontaneous decisions this year. Vitello Tonato first, simply brilliant. And my pizza Tonno is probably one of the best pizzas I've had the pleasure of eating in a restaurant. If you want to eat authentic Italian, you're in great hands here. Finally found a “real” carbonara without cream 😄 The pizza is heavenly, with great sauce variations such as parmesan sauce.

On our summer family road trip, we took a one day pitstop in Bielefeld and were craving some authentic Italian food when we stumbled upon this well rates restaurant in the area. After a slightly above waiting time of ~25 minutes we received the Pizza Margarita and Spaghetti Carbonara. The pizza was just average and nothing to write home about, definitely better than store-bought ,but not that good either. When it came to their pasta dishes we were really disappointed to find them bland and comparable to standard sauceless spaghetti. Really bland and not worth the €14.50 price tag, you could make something way better in half the time at home. The service is what supports the 2 star rating, along with the interior design, as the waitress was nice and gave us ample time to order and the indoor interior was hip, colorful and lively. Overall, one of the worse Italian restaurants I ate at, not BAD bad but more disappointing than anything, would suggest exploring the other (plentiful) options in the area, it really is a shame since the place was so stunning.

Looking for Italian food. Got it and was happy. They reccomeded pizza with honey on ... Very sceptic but it turned out to be very good. Nice location in the middle of this small town

Prosecco is ordered before the meal and you get spumante, also quite old. When this is said to the waiter, he argues that Spumante is Prosecco 😳. I don't need to tell you more... Pizza mediocre, there is better in Bielefeld for the price.

Our two previous visits there were very different. When we asked, we learned that the quality/taste as well as the appearance and presentation of the dishes depend VERY much on the chef; 1st VISIT top - 2nd VISIT flop. A pity.

My husband and I went to Nonna's for the first time today. We haven't eaten such delicious pizza for a long time!! The mint pesto was also super delicious!! Our waitress was super personable and friendly and took a lot of time for us❤️ The toilets are super clean and the ladies also have tampons, which is super thoughtful!!! We will be back definitely!! The only thing we find a bit unfortunate is that there are only small glasses. But that's complaining at a high level :D

Everything is really right here. The food was phenomenally good. The carbonara was of a really high standard. The best I've eaten in Germany so far. The service was super personable, accommodating and friendly. The recommendation (Pana Cotta) is highly recommended. The espresso martini was also great. I give it a clear 10/10!

The ladies who served us were really very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the food wasn't really good, at least according to our taste. But as we all know, tastes are different.

Der Abend im nonna’s war in sämtlichen Bereichen perfekt! Das Hausbrot und v.a. die Thunfischpaste sowie Aioli waren unglaublich lecker und habe ich auf Nachfrage mit nach Hause nehmen dürfen. Die Pizza war sehr lecker (leckerer Teig und gute Tomatensauce). Das Getränk war super. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Stilvoll, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein besonderes Lob geht an den Service. Wir haben recht spontan einen sehr guten Platz bekommen, die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Da gibt man gerne Trinkgeld! Absolute Weiterempfehlung, wir kommen sehr gerne bald wieder!😊

Die Pizza und der Limoncello Spritz sind ein Traum! Der Service war suuuuuper schnell und zuvorkommend. Besonders lobenswert war, dass wir ohne vorherige Reservierung am Freitagabend zu zweit ohne Wartezeit noch einen Platz bekommen haben! Wir kommen wieder! 🧡💚

Die Spaghetti al Pesto Rosso waren viel zu fettig und nicht richtig durchgekocht. Haben beim kauen sogar noch geknackt als wären es Salzstangen. Die Penne waren ebenfalls nicht richtig durch, aber komischerweise eher gummiartig in der Konsistenz. Selbst die Pizza Tonno hatte einen viel zu breiten und dicken Rand, es war quasi eher ein Fladenbrot mit einem kleinen Kreis in der der Mitte der Platt gedrückt wurde um darauf den Belag zu legen. Also in allem leider enttäuschend. Positiv überrascht hat mich jedoch der Nachtisch Torta della Nonna, dieser Kuchen war einfach nur saftig, mit leckerer Cremefüllung und Mandelstückchen oben drauf. Also dieses Restaurant wäre als Bäckerei/ Konditorei in jedem Fall eine große Empfehlung! Genuss pur! Das Personal war ebenfalls super zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und man hat sich gut aufgehoben gefühlt! Für das Ambiente gibt es 1 Stern Abzug, weil es zu Laut ist, um sich angenehm unterhalten zu können.

Tolle Pizza. Mittags gibt es eine Tagespizza oder Tagespasta für 9,90€!
