My husband and I ate there on July 5, 2025! We can highly recommend the restaurant. Everything was wonderful! The food was a dream! We've never eaten such a good Angus fillet before: buttery soft and juicy, full of flavor! Our service was excellent; the gentleman who served us was super friendly and knowledgeable and recommended a wonderful wine. We'd love to come back. Thank you so much for the lovely evening.

Very nice ambiance... that's also the only unique selling point that draws you there every few years. The service staff is either very good or very bad (unmotivated, just because of the kids). The food is okay (good standard for the region), but unfortunately much too expensive for the quality. I think they use some convenience foods, which is ridiculous considering the prices. The portions are also quite small. I can get that with high-end organic products for a third of the price.

I had arranged to meet a business partner for lunch. The meal was a complete disappointment. The tablecloth was dirty. The starter was a carpaccio with dried-out basil, otherwise OK. The main course was a (high-quality!) Black Angus Steak Bistecca Vallinacci for €37.90. It was served on a much too small plate with a few tiny chanterelle mushrooms, an excessive amount of onion, and oil. The steak was very marbled, and we weren't even asked how it should be prepared. The roast potatoes were drenched in oil. Since we were so engrossed in conversation, we ate without immediately complaining. Gradually, we realized how poor the entire arrangement was. Price/performance: abysmal. On the plus side, the very refreshing mineral water and the apology from the kitchen manager were good. Conclusion: I have to change my previously positive opinion of the restaurant and will certainly not invite business associates there again.

I was there the day before yesterday. I've eaten at Habichtshöhe many times. I loved eating with my children near the playground, but the food (I had a Pizza Mista) was so bad that I went there last time. The pizza had only been in the oven for a short time and felt like a crepe from the fair. Charging €18 for it was a real exaggeration. I had mentioned that my food was bad. It's a shame the good times are over.

We were privileged to celebrate our wedding at Habichtshöhe, and in addition to the stunning location and delicious food, what particularly impressed us and our guests was the wonderful team. A huge thank you to Duygu, who was available to us even while on vacation, and to the fantastic team who accompanied us in the evening and even drove my husband home after the party.

I've been there several times. This time it was a disappointment. We went for Italian pizza with six people. We've never had such a bad pizza at an Italian restaurant. We tried four different versions, none of them were good. They even had deep-fried chicken as a topping! The pizza base was rock hard and really greasy. But they all cost around €20! Terrible value for money. Conclusion: Despite the nice location, I don't recommend pizza at "the Italian" in Bielefeld.

We went there for dinner with family and friends after our civil wedding – and it was simply fantastic! The tables were lovingly decorated and already set up, but since the weather was so nice, we spontaneously wanted to sit outside. The team reacted super quickly and moved everything to the terrace – really great! The service was friendly, attentive, and prompt. All our requests were fulfilled, whether for drinks or food. We were particularly impressed by the owner – warm, funny, but never intrusive. You can tell that the well-being of his guests is truly important to him. The menu offers a great selection of Italian dishes, complemented by regional influences. The food was creative, fresh, and delicious – not run-of-the-mill cuisine, but with its own character. Despite the large group, everything ran smoothly, there were no long waits, and we were regularly asked if everything was okay. The dessert was a real highlight: ice cream from a regional ice cream maker, accompanied by homemade tiramisu and chocolate mousse – a perfect ending. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the restaurant. A beautiful location in a half-timbered house on a hill – ideal for special occasions or simply a wonderful evening with good food.

Very bad service. You are ignored especially to chat etc. Feeling of indirect discrimination. Left twice after 15 minutes without ordering. Although the staff was standing around and they even spoke to them. Can't say anything about the food. Won't see me or my companions again.

Draußen das Ambiente ( Terrasse) sehr angenehm. Der Service könnte mehr lächeln . Und das Essen entsprach leider nicht so ganz unseren Erwartungen. Für einen VorspeiseTeller und ein Wein kommen wir gerne wieder , aber nicht nochmal mit einem großen Appetit. Wir hatten einmal Spaghetti Mare( die nach knoblauch schmecken sollten - von knoblauch war da leider nichts zu schmecken ) und irgendwie so lieblos einfach normale Spaghetti und aufgebaute frutti de mare . Ich hatte das Lachsfilet für 27 euro , leider ist es das gar nicht wert , das kaisergemüse war leider etwas matschig und die Kartoffeln zu ölig.

Wir waren mit der Familie hier und hatten auch zwei ältere Herrschaften dabei. Beide konnten nicht mehr sehr gut hören. Das Personal hatte keine Geduld mit ihnen und wurde sehr schnell unfreundlich. Das Essen war gut, aber wegen dem Verhalten gegenüber älteren Gästen werden wir nicht wieder kommen.

We were at Habichtshöhe with a large group (approx. 30 participants) on a Friday evening. Not only was the food delicious, the dishes were all served almost at the same time. We noticed this particularly positively! The service was great too! If we are in Bielefeld again, we would like to come back.

After the outrageous appearance in My Local, Your Local, we will never be a guest here. I will not support something so unprofessional. The boss knows nothing about cooking. If you don't know how things are prepared in other countries (Croatia) you should just keep your mouth shut. Not delivering yourself but then making big noises isn't possible at all. I'm just saying the vitello tonato (yours was cut way too thick and I'd better not say anything about the tuna cream) something like that has no place in the catering industry. Just because you can't do something yourself doesn't mean you have to judge your colleagues poorly. Those who can do it better. I gave a good 7 points on Monday, which I have to reduce to 3 points because of unfair behavior.

Wir waren vor einer Woche dort um uns ein Eindruck zu machen für unsere Hochzeit wir waren direkt begeistert! Darauf hin haben wir entschieden uns ein Eindruck von Essen zu machen sind eine Woche später dann dort gewesen und wurden direkt freundlich empfangen! Der Chef persönlich hat sich zu uns gesetzt es wurde auf unsere Wünsche bis ins Detail eingegangen und auch die Kinder waren zufrieden haben sogar eine kleine Present erhalten was sehr aufmerksam war. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich der Chef offner und ehrlicher Mensch und ein gutes Team und sehr schönes Ambiente. Gerne wieder! Und die Entscheidung steht fest! Heiraten werden wir in der Habichshöhe. Viele Dank.

Very good food and first class service.

We celebrated our civil wedding at Habichtshöhe with 26 guests and couldn't have asked for a better place for this special occasion. When planning the reception, all of our wishes were implemented with great care and professionalism. The team was always open to our ideas and impressed us with their relaxed and at the same time very professional manner. During the celebration the waiters were extremely attentive and warm. Not only did they ensure everything ran smoothly, but they also happily accepted our guests' special requests. A special highlight was the food: Despite the large number of guests, all dishes were served almost at the same time - a remarkable achievement! Overall it was a wonderful reception in a great atmosphere. We can fully recommend the Habichtshöhe and thank the entire team for this unforgettable day! ☺️

Have eaten there many times and always been very satisfied. The pizzas are very tasty and well topped. Meat dishes top. And the tiramisu is awesome 😎

Very nice restaurant, handicapped accessible and everyone was very nice

We were in Habichtshöhe for the first and last time. The beautiful old house and the ambience are really very inviting. The service also served us professionally and friendly. However, the portions were far too small for the salty prices. The quality of the goods can also be significantly improved. I've eaten much better meat. It wasn't cooked to perfection. The potato thalers tasted like they came from the freezer. A chicken cordon bleu the size of a chicken egg and 8 small pieces of broccoli or carrot left a lot to be desired. Some of the food was cold, as was the plate. The herb butter was really delicious. However, the price-performance ratio is not right. In response to our honest criticism, we received an invitation for dessert, which we no longer wanted. However, the service took the criticism into account, which we appreciate.

We would like to thank the entire Habichtshöhe team. As part of a book presentation, we encountered professionalism in every area: the agreements in advance, the on-site service and the flexibility were excellent. The team created a great atmosphere. A Cologne resident in Bielefeld. I'm in Bielefeld every now and then and was a guest at Habichtshöhe today. Very pleasant Italian atmosphere with great food, attentive and very friendly staff. This is now my new culinary contact point here in Bielefeld. I'm looking forward to stopping here in the evening. As a Cologne resident, I have a lot of choice of restaurants in my city and I can say that this is a great restaurant.

Our meal with 6 people on the evening of Boxing Day 24 was not worthy of the house. The appetizer platter we ordered was served appropriately, but about 2 minutes later the service was at the table with the main course. We replied that we hadn't even touched the starter yet and wanted to finish it first before we continued. Shortly afterwards the next slide service staff (3) stood at the table with the main course and insisted that we can eat our main course now. We politely rejected this too - with the staff pointing out that we would then have to wait a bit. It was clear to us. However, the little wait turned into a wait of over 75 minutes. When the food was finally at the table, various side dishes were announced and “alternatives” were served without being asked. Venison goulsch without dumplings and red cabbage, mashed potatoes with the fish instead of rosemary potatoes, pizza ordered without rocket with rocket, one of the three pieces of lamb fillet tasted sour, etc. None of the food was as described on the menu. The comment that you just have to wait longer if you send food back and you had around 2,000 guests in two days and could therefore go out for something, was almost cheeky. We didn't get the food from the kitchen, it was your service. More sensitivity is required in such situations. Unfortunately, there was no offer of a small dessert for the children or a drink after the meal to bring joy back to the table and excuse the long wait and lack of side dishes. All in all, with a limited holiday menu, poorly planned and even worse responded. We always enjoyed being here, but one had the impression that Christmas was about quantity rather than class. Therefore we won't be coming back soon. Baptisms, weddings, birthdays - everything has been celebrated here. But we won't do that anymore in the future. Too bad!

I was there with my mother on Christmas Day. My mother's food was probably good (venison). My meal (salmon with mashed potatoes) still had room for improvement. Nothing special in terms of taste. The side salad somehow lacked herbs or a nice dressing and was quite monotonous. This was not eaten either. Decoratively very thin. Nothing to look at.

Such a great restaurant. Food just tastes divine. I would return again and again to have their butter and bread and then just be delighted at all the offers in the menu. The prices are fair, not great not terrible, the atmosphere is very quiet and the attention to details brings you back.

Review for ordering from an Italian restaurant via Lieferando. I ordered from this Italian restaurant and overall I have mixed opinions. The order consisted of a pizza, Pizza Italia plus salami, a lasagne and a tortellini casserole. Here is my conclusion: • Lasagna: Absolutely fantastic! Really a highlight in terms of taste, the best lasagne I've eaten in a long time. Unfortunately, the portion is quite small, but that's probably common in high-quality restaurants. • Tortellini casserole: Taste OK, but nothing special. Solid, but not a surprise. • Pizza: This is my biggest criticism. For 20 euros I expected a pizza that was impressive in both quality and size. According to the description the pizza was supposed to be 30cm tall, but in actuality it was only about 27cm. After calling the restaurant, I was told that 28 cm was the standard - which already differs from what was stated. In terms of taste, the pizza was okay, a little better than a usual takeaway pizza, but far below my expectations for the price. The pizza's value for money is simply disappointing. A mediocre pizza for 20 euros is simply overpriced and leaves a bitter aftertaste - especially if the size and quality specifications are not met. Conclusion: While the lasagna was really great, the price of the pizza doesn't justify the quality. For me, it's not a restaurant I would order from again as long as these price and performance issues persist.

Wir waren Stammgast in nahezu 30 Jahren Habichtshöhe (bei Imperiale und Mete). Nach dem Inhaberwechsel und einer „Pandemie-Pause“ wollten wir in diesem Restaurant wieder ein Weihnachtsessen genießen. Den Tisch im Saal in einem recht kühlen Ambiente fanden wir halbwegs akzeptabel. Keine großen Wartezeiten beim Service empfanden wir (Mittagszeit) als positiv. Das Angebot auf der Speisekarte war für uns absolut ausreichend. Die Preise für Getränke und Speisen empfanden wir als mindestens 10 % zu hoch. Unsicher waren wir, ob es nicht sogar eine Art „Feiertagszuschlag“ gab. Sehr negativ ist uns aufgefallen, dass für verschiedene Soßen zu einigen Gerichten ein Zuschlag zu zahlen war. Das ist aus unserer Sicht eigentlich eine Zumutung. Die Qualität der ausgewählten Speisen war durchaus gut. Die Portionen halbwegs OK. Beim Kalbsfilet mit Pilzen war es so, dass man 3 Scheibchen Champignon finden konnte. Dazu ein paar Stückchen Paprika und fertig war das Gemüse. Es ist immer schwierig Vergleiche anzustellen. Manchmal sogar unfair bzw. ungeeignet. Wenn man wie wir aber sehr regelmäßig verschiedenste Restaurants in unterschiedlichen Regionen besucht, denken wir uns schon, Restaurants und deren Angebot beurteilen zu können. Für das Allegro / Habichtshöhe würden wir aktuell keine Empfehlung aussprechen. Warum nicht? Ein halbwegs gemütliches Ambiente ( jedoch nicht im Saal ) reicht nicht aus für das Wohlbefinden. Auch der Service kann das Preis-/Leistung nicht rechtfertigen. Folglich ist das Allegro / Habichtshöhe für uns (leider) zukünftig keine Wahl mehr.

We were at the Habichtshöhe restaurant for a company dinner with around 25 people. The service was great for the number of people, we had a short wait and all the food arrived hot and promptly. Even before ordering, I think the owner asked if there were any questions about the dishes and these were answered in detail and special requests were addressed. The ambience was also very nice and cozy, in summer when the surrounding nature is green it is certainly a much better experience. The cuisine has an Italian focus and I have only heard good feedback from my colleagues, the salmon was particularly praised! There are also German dishes on the menu; I personally couldn't resist the beef roulades from the autumn/winter menu. And they were really great, on a par with those of my grandmother and mother. The portions are perfectly portioned and the price is great for the quality. I will also come back privately if the opportunity arises. If you live nearby, the restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Bielefeld is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, this restaurant is one of the best in Bielefeld.

We were there for dinner with family on Christmas Day. We were seated in the terrible large hall, which in terms of ambience (lighting, acoustics) resembled a canteen. Conversation at the table was not possible. Instead of cloth layers on all tables there were paper napkins. The food was terribly bad for everyone (Cesar salad with breaded, dry chicken and cheap tomatoes, pizza limp, lasagna unseasoned and soggy), etc. The staff was totally overwhelmed and after an hour we left “fed off”. None of us will enter this restaurant again. That was a rip off!!!

We were there for a birthday party. There was food from the buffet. Every single dish tasted excellent. The crowd was also very good. What we liked best was the service. Seldom have we been asked so often somewhere whether everything is OK and whether there is anything else that could be done. Everyone was very friendly. Absolutely recommended.

We celebrated a wonderful birthday here. The buffet dinner was really great. Here you can taste that everything is freshly cooked and prepared. The antipasti and the roulades are super delicious. The service and the whole ambience were tip top. All of our guests were very enthusiastic. This location is a real recommendation. We'd love to come back. I was a brief guest at an event at this facility. The ambience was quite good, a bit noisy, but ok. The service was partly good, partly annoyed and partly not particularly attentive. The food was bland. Consistently, little taste. Antipasti was unpacked and placed on the plate = ready ✔️ Unfortunately, dessert was also rather mediocre. Given that the store was so advertised, I really expected a little more quality for such a high price.

Mega SECRET TIP in the middle of the beautiful Teutoburger ⛰️ forest in Bielefeld with first-class Italian 🍽️ cuisine. From antipasti platters to 🍕pizza 🍝pasta to delicious 🍨 desserts 🍰. With the gluten-free pasta, everything adds up to high praise for 👨‍🍳 cook, boss and Dominik, who pampered us so well. Definitely one of the “best places to eat” in NRW. Very nice atmosphere. We'll be back.

The antipasti plates were very tasty, especially the Vitello Tonato was particularly good. The food made the movie night at home perfect.

I recently visited the restaurant and loved the atmosphere and friendly service. The menu offers a varied selection of dishes that are freshly prepared. We particularly recommend the fresh pasta and the high-quality steaks, which taste simply heavenly. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. A real top restaurant! The food was fantastic – every course was a delight. The atmosphere and location of the restaurant is great, it is in a very good location and has excellent parking facilities, which makes the visit even more pleasant. My only suggestion would be to make the menu a little slimmer to keep the selection clearer. I also think subtle lounge or chill-out music in the background would be a nice addition to the overall experience. Nevertheless, this restaurant remains an absolute recommendation – I will definitely come back!

A nice place. Especially in summer, the outdoor area invites you to relax. The service was good on all my visits. Very nice staff. Unfortunately, the food is not always recommended. On our last visit we had sea bream. A disaster in terms of taste. The pasta dishes are not top class but generally okay. Unfortunately, the impression arises that the original quality can no longer be maintained.

Yesterday we went to a crime dinner at Habichtshöhe and we really enjoyed it. The service was great, despite the particular challenge of serving all guests at the same time, and always friendly. We immediately felt at home. We also really enjoyed the food. Our special request for “vegan” in the menu was responded to professionally and accommodatingly and the service team made sure that we got the right food. That was really, really great and an experience that I have rarely had. A big thank you to the entire service team, the excellent cuisine and just overall for the wonderful evening. Dear Ms. Schmidt, Today I was a guest in your restaurant with my son. I rarely write reviews, and when I do, I only write positive ones. Since I travel a lot for work and worked in the catering industry, I have already gained a lot of culinary experience. Mediterranean cuisine is particularly close to my heart because it is in my blood and I have also run restaurants myself. Unfortunately I have to inform you today that our visit to your restaurant was very disappointing. Unfortunately, all of the dishes we ordered - from the bruschetta to the lasagna to the salmon - did not meet the expectations we have of an Italian restaurant. We noticed that the quality of the ingredients, as well as the preparation of the food, fell far short of what would be expected given the prices quoted. For example, the salmon was frozen and of poor quality, the potatoes looked like they came out of a bag and didn't correspond to the description on the menu, and the spinach didn't seem to be fresh but also frozen. In the catering industry, the focus is on high-quality ingredients and careful preparation - I expect corresponding quality, especially for a dish that costs €29. Instead, I had the impression that more emphasis was placed on profits than on customer satisfaction. As a rule, the calculation in gastronomy is 75% (ingredients and staff), 25% profit. For you it seems to me it's 25% (ingredients and staff) and 75% profit. I'm sorry to say, but your cuisine really disappointed us that day - which is particularly a shame as your restaurant is in a great location and has a lot of potential. I declined her employee's offer to leave her restaurant without paying. A wonderful, elegant restaurant in the heart of the Teutoburg Forest in Bielefeld. Traveling by car or bus is currently difficult due to the closure of one of the streets leading to the restaurant. Here you will not only find picturesque landscapes, but also the elegant furnishings of the restaurant and a beautiful covered terrace where you can sit comfortably. The service was quick, waiters regularly asked if we needed anything else and how we liked the food. By the way, the food tasted excellent, the beer was also great (Benediktiner Weissbier), the freshly baked bread came with the pasta, which is no longer the norm, so it's also worth mentioning. At midday there is not much of a rush, so you can choose your spot. You can also rent a restaurant for various celebrations. The prices are okay considering the quality of the food and the beautiful location. Overall it's a wonderful place to dine, definitely worthy of 5 stars

Unfortunately, the food was only worth 3 stars on the last visit. I was disappointed. The bruschetta was not briefly toasted as usual, the topping was just placed on the bread. The crusty bread served with herb butter used to be very tasty. Unfortunately on our evening it was "tough" and we had a hard time taking a bite. I skipped dessert because I was so disappointed.

Haben eine originale Süditalienische Pizza bestellt wie geworben wurde. Bekommen haben wir ein lauwarmes Fladenbrot mit komischem Belag wie Mayo. Hatte nichts mit Pizza zu tun! Habe so etwas noch nie erlebt. Steak mit Röstkartoffeln und Bohnen bestellt. Bekommen habe ich aufgewärmte Kartoffeln und labberige zerkochte Bohnen. Eine Katastrophe. Toiletten nicht sauber und Eiskalt. Dafür die Hälfte der Beleuchtung kaputt. Völlig überzogene Preise. Nie wieder setze ich einen Fuß in das Lokal.

We celebrated our wedding in the large hall. The food was delicious, as always at Habichtshöhe. The arrangements worked out well and we had a really nice party in a lovely, cozy atmosphere. Also great, lots of parking space for guests and you don't bother any neighbors because there are no nearby neighbors. Great for a celebration 😊

Very tasty dishes, previously there was really delicious garlic butter with warm baguette. Rustic, high-quality atmosphere and kudos to the owner for an excellent day of coaching!

We had dinner at Habichtshöhe on September 21st, 2024. We sat outside directly under the chestnut trees, after several chestnuts had fallen on our table we asked for another table, we were only told that it wouldn't work because all the other tables were reserved. So as long as we were there, there were several tables free where we could have sat down. After the starter we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our main course. Three pasta dishes arrived after 30 minutes, two pizzas were missing but the waitress didn't notice this at first and we had to point it out to her. After 50-60 minutes after the starter, the two missing pizzas came to the table without a word of apology. Our conclusion: with the poor service, the dishes are not worth the money and it was the first and last time we went to Habichtshöhe.

The food was okay, expected something different for the price. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that optimal, we often sat in front of empty glasses. The ambience was better here too. It's a shame we always enjoyed being here, but given the circumstances there are nicer, more appealing locations in the region.

It's not the cheapest. But food was good.

Personally, I find the Habichtshöhe furnishings to be a bit cold. You don't get a real feel-good character. The main course was ok. The salmon was a little overdone, the vegetables and potatoes were barely seasoned, and could also be served a little nicer. The dessert, a panna cotta, was simply presented carelessly. Quite a shame. Service seemed a bit annoyed.

After a long time we had dinner at Habichtshöhe again and were again very disappointed. My husband ordered a chanterelle schnitzel and it was a total disappointment. There were only brown potato wedges, two breaded schnitzels with panko flour and a dark sauce with TWO chanterelles on the plate. The whole plate was brown on brown. Not a splash of color in the form of a tomato or lettuce leaf on the plate. And that's just disappointing for the price

So honestly... This herb butter is insane. There are butters with herbs that are usually bought - but this one... This butter... is unusually good. This herb butter actually needs its own menu - it's that good. The rest of the meal (starter, main course) is really good - but is drowned out by the succinctness of the holy herb butter. If there was an option to order these, I would be the first to order them by the bucketful. We didn't even get charged for this - basically as a side dish with bread. That alone is worth its weight in gold. Top. You can't say anything else.

One of the best restaurants in Bielefeld!! Super delicious food, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings! The ambience could be a little more comfortable here and there, I felt there was a little bit of light missing outside whereas inside it was a little too bright. 😄 But I always like to come back, the thought of the food makes my mouth water again. 🥰
