Dear Ms. Schmidt, Today I was a guest in your restaurant with my son. I rarely write reviews, and when I do, I only write positive ones. Since I travel a lot for work and worked in the catering industry, I have already gained a lot of culinary experience. Mediterranean cuisine is particularly close to my heart because it is in my blood and I have also run restaurants myself. Unfortunately I have to inform you today that our visit to your restaurant was very disappointing. Unfortunately, all of the dishes we ordered - from the bruschetta to the lasagna to the salmon - did not meet the expectations we have of an Italian restaurant. We noticed that the quality of the ingredients, as well as the preparation of the food, fell far short of what would be expected given the prices quoted. For example, the salmon was frozen and of poor quality, the potatoes looked like they came out of a bag and didn't correspond to the description on the menu, and the spinach didn't seem to be fresh but also frozen. In the catering industry, the focus is on high-quality ingredients and careful preparation - I expect corresponding quality, especially for a dish that costs €29. Instead, I had the impression that more emphasis was placed on profits than on customer satisfaction. As a rule, the calculation in gastronomy is 75% (ingredients and staff), 25% profit. For you it seems to me it's 25% (ingredients and staff) and 75% profit. I'm sorry to say, but your cuisine really disappointed us that day - which is particularly a shame as your restaurant is in a great location and has a lot of potential. I declined her employee's offer to leave her restaurant without paying. A wonderful, elegant restaurant in the heart of the Teutoburg Forest in Bielefeld. Traveling by car or bus is currently difficult due to the closure of one of the streets leading to the restaurant. Here you will not only find picturesque landscapes, but also the elegant furnishings of the restaurant and a beautiful covered terrace where you can sit comfortably. The service was quick, waiters regularly asked if we needed anything else and how we liked the food. By the way, the food tasted excellent, the beer was also great (Benediktiner Weissbier), the freshly baked bread came with the pasta, which is no longer the norm, so it's also worth mentioning. At midday there is not much of a rush, so you can choose your spot. You can also rent a restaurant for various celebrations. The prices are okay considering the quality of the food and the beautiful location. Overall it's a wonderful place to dine, definitely worthy of 5 stars

Unfortunately, the food was only worth 3 stars on the last visit. I was disappointed. The bruschetta was not briefly toasted as usual, the topping was just placed on the bread. The crusty bread served with herb butter used to be very tasty. Unfortunately on our evening it was "tough" and we had a hard time taking a bite. I skipped dessert because I was so disappointed.

Haben eine originale Süditalienische Pizza bestellt wie geworben wurde. Bekommen haben wir ein lauwarmes Fladenbrot mit komischem Belag wie Mayo. Hatte nichts mit Pizza zu tun! Habe so etwas noch nie erlebt. Steak mit Röstkartoffeln und Bohnen bestellt. Bekommen habe ich aufgewärmte Kartoffeln und labberige zerkochte Bohnen. Eine Katastrophe. Toiletten nicht sauber und Eiskalt. Dafür die Hälfte der Beleuchtung kaputt. Völlig überzogene Preise. Nie wieder setze ich einen Fuß in das Lokal.

We celebrated our wedding in the large hall. The food was delicious, as always at Habichtshöhe. The arrangements worked out well and we had a really nice party in a lovely, cozy atmosphere. Also great, lots of parking space for guests and you don't bother any neighbors because there are no nearby neighbors. Great for a celebration 😊

Very tasty dishes, previously there was really delicious garlic butter with warm baguette. Rustic, high-quality atmosphere and kudos to the owner for an excellent day of coaching!

The food was okay, expected something different for the price. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that optimal, we often sat in front of empty glasses. The ambience was better here too. It's a shame we always enjoyed being here, but given the circumstances there are nicer, more appealing locations in the region.

We had dinner at Habichtshöhe on September 21st, 2024. We sat outside directly under the chestnut trees, after several chestnuts had fallen on our table we asked for another table, we were only told that it wouldn't work because all the other tables were reserved. So as long as we were there, there were several tables free where we could have sat down. After the starter we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our main course. Three pasta dishes arrived after 30 minutes, two pizzas were missing but the waitress didn't notice this at first and we had to point it out to her. After 50-60 minutes after the starter, the two missing pizzas came to the table without a word of apology. Our conclusion: with the poor service, the dishes are not worth the money and it was the first and last time we went to Habichtshöhe.

It's not the cheapest. But food was good.

Personally, I find the Habichtshöhe furnishings to be a bit cold. You don't get a real feel-good character. The main course was ok. The salmon was a little overdone, the vegetables and potatoes were barely seasoned, and could also be served a little nicer. The dessert, a panna cotta, was simply presented carelessly. Quite a shame. Service seemed a bit annoyed.

After a long time we had dinner at Habichtshöhe again and were again very disappointed. My husband ordered a chanterelle schnitzel and it was a total disappointment. There were only brown potato wedges, two breaded schnitzels with panko flour and a dark sauce with TWO chanterelles on the plate. The whole plate was brown on brown. Not a splash of color in the form of a tomato or lettuce leaf on the plate. And that's just disappointing for the price

So honestly... This herb butter is insane. There are butters with herbs that are usually bought - but this one... This butter... is unusually good. This herb butter actually needs its own menu - it's that good. The rest of the meal (starter, main course) is really good - but is drowned out by the succinctness of the holy herb butter. If there was an option to order these, I would be the first to order them by the bucketful. We didn't even get charged for this - basically as a side dish with bread. That alone is worth its weight in gold. Top. You can't say anything else.

One of the best restaurants in Bielefeld!! Super delicious food, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings! The ambience could be a little more comfortable here and there, I felt there was a little bit of light missing outside whereas inside it was a little too bright. 😄 But I always like to come back, the thought of the food makes my mouth water again. 🥰

Quite expensive for average cuisine at best

A big thank you to the Habichtshöhe team. We celebrated our wedding here with a free wedding ceremony. Everything was very professional, Ms. Alkis was our contact person for planning and supported us in every way, which is no longer a given these days. Every wish of ours was implemented. We ordered live cooking and our guests and we were thrilled with it. The meat was on point and a delight and I'm not exaggerating here. And when I think about the pasta made from cheese, oh man, just great. It is difficult to find a location for a wedding where there is live cooking; most of them require catering and the buffet is then left to its own devices. The location is designed so that if the weather does not allow it, the outdoor wedding ceremony can also be held indoors. Both variants have been prepared here at no extra charge so that the wedding process is not disrupted. There is no curfew, you can party here until early in the morning, which is what we did. This all sounds very expensive, but you will be surprised. Get advice and you will receive an offer that is tailored to you. We can only recommend the Habichtshöhe without a bad conscience.

Everything really fits together, so you'll be happy to come back again and again. Rustic cosiness both inside and in the beautifully designed, shaded outdoor area. Beautifully located, the forest invites you to go hiking before or after. And the service couldn't be better: extremely friendly and attentive. Thank you very much and see you next time.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food here. Expectations for a schnitzel with chanterelle rajmsaice for €32 are high. When 2 deep-fried schnitzels with a little sauce and a few potato wedges come without vegetables (which would be added after I complained when I had finished eating) I am hugely disappointed, and someone at the table orders a Championsvhnitzel for €24 and the dish is identical , but there are vegetables here...I wonder where this price comes from. The quality was maximum chip shop level. Unfortunately. At least the boss had the courage to come to the table to apologize and buy an espresso. Service was nice and good. Atmosphere too.

The Habichtshöhe restaurant is barrier-free and easily accessible, there is a ramp and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is really delicious, even if it's more expensive, but you can taste the quality and the service is fantastic - only in the dining room it is very loud from time to time, but you can live with that. The parking situation is difficult, so arriving early is important. We felt comfortable and would go back at any time.

We celebrated our wedding on July 20, 2024 in Habichtshöhe. It was exactly as we imagined. Everything that was discussed before was implemented exactly that way. The food, both the reception and the buffet, was great, and the guests also gave us feedback. Everything went smoothly and we can definitely recommend the location for celebrations. Went to Habichtshöhe for Christmas dinner on Boxing Day and were seated in “the gallery”. The ambience seemed cool and the food was a huge disappointment. Leg of lamb with red cabbage and mashed potatoes was swimming in a tasteless sauce. The neighbor had the same sauce on his stew. Both meals were over €30. Sad table decorations, cheap dishes and poor photocopies of the menu were an imposition. Conclusion: if you are looking for a pizzeria in a beautiful forest setting, this is the right place. Everyone else runs the risk of being just as disappointed as we are. It's a shame - there used to be a good Bielefeld address here.

We always like it here. The hospitality is particularly noteworthy. You don't find something like that often. The staff is so friendly. Training is particularly important here. You notice that and you just feel really well looked after. Food and ambience also great!

After months of planning, you're naturally super excited on your wedding day and hoping for everything to go smoothly. The entire team contributed with exemplary commitment to ensuring that we had an unforgettable wedding; Our guests were equally thrilled. The buffet offering was so varied and delicious - guests' special requests were always met in a friendly manner. Not to be forgotten is the ambience, which speaks for itself even without much decoration. At this point we would like to say a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the great support in all matters - even if you, as a super excited bride, called for the 100th time during the planning ;-) An absolute recommendation!

Sowas übles habi ich noch nicht erlebt. Ich war Anfang Mai dort, mit Partnerin, und habe bei einem Google Portal Punkt für Punkt geschrieben, was mir an Negativen passiert ist, von, der am Tischbein vom Nachbartisch angebundene Hund hatte den Tisch umgerissen, als ein neuer Hund ankam bis, mein Hauptgericht kam überhaupt nicht. Und noch Einiges. Positiv war nur Ambiente. Nach 6 Wochen bekam ich Nachricht von Google, mein Kommentar ist gelöscht, Habicht hatte das wegen "Verleumdung" veranlasst. Ich könne mich dagegen zu Wehr setzen u.s,w., aber als ich das mehrfach versuchte in immer neuen Anschriften antwortete Google nicht mehr. Ich hatte meinen Kommentar eingeleitet mit: das schlechteste italienische Restaurant das ich je besuchte, die Antwort kam postwendend: wir werfen dich raus, wegen "Verleumdung", natürlich ohne Begründung. So einfach ist das also, so vermeiden feine Restaurants Negativkritiken

Perfekte Vorspeisen, Köstliches Hauptgericht, nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal, Tolles Ambiente es stimmte alles, gerne wieder!

Today we had lunch outside, there was a service person responsible for the entire restaurant who did a top job for the number of guests. Nevertheless, one would expect that the restaurant doesn't necessarily have to save on staff when it comes to prices... The pizza wasn't fully baked in the middle (like last time), even though I asked for it to be fully baked in advance... I'm afraid this was my last visit for a long time, unfortunately the price and performance don't match

Auf unserer Wanderung machten wir hier Mittagspause im Regen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, keine langen Wartezeiten. Zweimal hausgemachte Limo (leider nicht unser Geschmack, wirkte sehr künstlich) und zweimal Suppe (tadellos). Die Preise waren recht ambitioniert.

Were there with a group. Very friendly staff, fast and friendly service. The food was very good. We would be happy to come back to Habichtshöhe.

On Saturday evening we celebrated with a large group (more than 40 people) at the Habichtshöhe and spent a very nice and pleasant evening there. The menu was really excellent - I've never had a beef fillet that was so tender and yet well seared on the outside. The service was nice, quick and competent and managed to provide us with everything in a timely manner, despite an even larger group in the large hall. I have a clear recommendation and the intention to hold our Bielefeld events there more often.

The expectations for your own wedding celebration are very high: the day should run perfectly, the food should be delicious, the guests should feel comfortable and have a great celebration. With these inner expectations, we planned our celebration with around 120 guests together with the Habichtshöhe team. And in the end there was a mega-great celebration that exceeded and exceeded our expectations. Much more important: the feedback from our guests afterwards confirmed this to us! We would like to thank you for this great and successful evening! Especially for the good coordination in advance, so that we were able to be there regularly and always had the feeling of being welcome and heard. This enabled us to implement our decoration ideas and scheduling: from welcoming the guests, the appetizers at the reception, the food itself, the service during the celebration, the arrangements and adjustments to the schedule over the course of the evening, everything took place to our complete satisfaction . Thanks to Dominik and the team, also for the constant, very friendly service. We can only recommend the Habichtshöhe!!

We took a break there on our hike. First of all, you can also get ice cream there that isn't on the menu, just ask. Prices and services very good. Our daughter also liked the ice cream mentioned above. The terrace is nice, but no longer the most modern. Will definitely stop here again on the next tour.

Die Lage ist wunderschön und auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war nicht der Burner. Die Pizza war am Rand verkohlt der Belag matschig, der Boden zäh-klebrig. Meine Calamari Fritti waren in Ordnung, etwas bleich auf dem Teller, ein Salatblatt oder etwas Petersilie wären gut gewesen. Der Bauernsalat bestand aus 70% Gurke, 4 Oliven, etwa 1/2 Tomate , 3 Artischokenstücken und Feta. An der Kasse hasteten 2 "Chefs" an uns vorbei und vergassen in der Hektik uns zu grüßen????? Da gibt es in Bielefeld bessere Italiener.

Unfortunately I also have to correct my great rating from last year, unfortunately there is only 1 star left, this only because you simply have to rate the location, and it is TOP. We were there with nine people to celebrate an 80th. Beer garden, very nicely set table with white tablecloths, everything was good until then. As a “starter” Aperol Spritz, I have no idea how you can do it wrong, but it works! Ordered two bottles of mineral water and poured it in, after which you could at least drink it. Starter plate for EVERYONE, original quote: we found rice balls there, they aren't on the menu but we added them!! Otherwise OK but nothing great. New cutlery after the starter, none. The waiter simply placed the cutlery from the appetizer plate onto the tablecloth when clearing away. At that point the optics were messed up. Main courses are mostly OK, simple pasta dishes always work. The question about a spoon was repeatedly answered with "immediately"... until we finally went in and got spoons ourselves. The highlight was fresh asparagus with beef fillet (2x) The asparagus looked like it was prepared at lunchtime and kept warm by the water until the evening, kind of brown/gray. Ordered the steak medium, but at first you couldn't eat it! Complained that the new one looked like a premium product, somehow completely different, as if extra effort had been made. Unfortunately the outside was made hot for a short time and the core temperature felt like it was 8 degrees, inedible!! It was fine that it wasn't on the bill in the end, but the evening (especially with the special birthday) was thoroughly ruined. Thank you, but not with us like that anymore. You can't just relax on the great location.

Probably the worst "Italian restaurant" I've ever visited: the white bread served as entrè, plentiful, was industrial quality, but the herb butter was very good. I ordered bruschetta as a starter and then 2 pasta dishes: the lasagna, complete mush, came together with bland bruschetta. The 2 beers on tap were "unfresh", despite the foamy head. My penne arrabiata never came and when I asked for it, I canceled it. The white wine was impeccable. We were on the beautiful terrace, surrounded by dogs. The neighbor's dog knocked over the table when a new dog came. The service was super friendly.

Located in the middle of the Teutoburg Forest, the restaurant is, on the one hand, accessible to good hikers who walk here from the Sparenburg and, on the other hand, is actually within walking distance from the city of Bielefeld and can even be easily reached by tram. The last time I was there I ordered a pizza that turned out incredibly well and ingredients. So all around a nice experience.

We had a delicious meal here twice. First for dinner and the next day for lunch. The service was very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended to go and if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely eat here again!

We had reserved the club room for a family celebration. Unfortunately, it wasn't ready when we arrived, even though we, as hosts, only arrived 10 minutes ahead of time. Flowers and two tea lights were only placed on the table when requested. It was all a bit loveless. The club room also doesn't have the nice ambience of the rest of the restaurant. A meal would be forgotten and would be delivered later. The side dishes were tasty, but did not match the information on the menu. In addition, the waitress didn't know which vegetables were currently served with the meat and gave incorrect information. At these high prices I expect better service. The cleanliness of the toilets also left a lot to be desired that evening.

Overall pleasant visit, thank you very much! We arrived without a reservation but before rush hour around 4:30 p.m. We received a very friendly welcome and were pleasantly looked after throughout. We sat inside due to the weather. In the summer it is certainly very good to sit outside.

The food is tasty, but not outstanding, which is unfortunately slightly disappointing given the price. Above all, you pay for the beautiful ambience and the extraordinary location in the middle of the forest. However, there is at least baguette with butter as a starter. There are also separate rooms that can be booked, as well as a hall as a wedding location.

We once again had an unforgettable afternoon at Habichtshöhe, we are more than satisfied with our visit. The friendly staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel comfortable from the first moment. When it comes to the food, we can only rave! Each dish was of extremely high quality and presented with a creative touch. What was particularly outstanding was the homemade herb butter, which went perfectly with the homemade bread. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

I have to say we were very disappointed with the food. The lasagne looked like frozen goods and the cannelloni was very clear as well. For this 16.90€. The steak was very thin and not really tender. So all in all Overpriced and very plain food

We are very disappointed with the poor quality of the ingredients. Excessive prices for frozen goods, the kitchen still has a lot to learn in terms of craftsmanship. The unskilled service doesn't make things any better here. Overall, a restaurant experience that you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.

Nice and friendly service, price/performance ratio is basically good, but the prices are on the higher side. Pizza Calzone €16.90 is quite an announcement.

I don't want to write anything about the food here, it's always of high quality and tastes great. But I had to watch as the waitress played with the guests' dogs, had their hands licked and then served me. Nobody and nothing is 100% germ-free and clean, that is clear. Nevertheless, paying attention to such things is part of the expected professionalism in a restaurant like this. Anyone who has/knows dogs should know that dogs will eat the feces of other animals or even people if the opportunity arises. And since this great restaurant is often a destination for hikers due to its location, it is very possible that the waiter who serves has his hand licked by a dog that has just had feces in its mouth in the forest. I will definitely eat here again, but the people who were with me are definitely no longer there. A pity. PS: the tortellini al forno are mega!

Update: Unfortunately, I have to revise my original 5-star rating and my positive impressions to 2 stars because my recent experience has deteriorated significantly. We were guests at Habichtshöhe with a group of 7 people as we were very impressed on our last visit about 6 months ago. The menu cards were brought quickly, but we were not asked about our drink preferences. After about 30 minutes they finally took our orders for food and drinks. The service was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed. Another 15 minutes passed before we finally received our drinks. It's worth noting that the restaurant wasn't overly busy. Our 7 pizzas ultimately arrived after about 45 minutes since ordering. Unfortunately the quality had dropped significantly compared to last time. Some of the pizzas were soggy and the dough was very tough. The prices seem too high for the quality offered. In addition, we could hardly cut the pizza with the simple knives provided. When we complained, we were told that this had already been complained about many times by other guests - so why isn't something changed? A side salad was forgotten and only served quickly thrown together at our request. He looked anything but appetizing. Furthermore, I find it disappointing that cardboard straws are served in a restaurant that bills itself as an upscale establishment. There are definitely better alternatives. It's unfortunate but we won't be returning here again. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Habichtshöhe. There are many other restaurants in the area that are much better. I give the 2 stars for the great ambience, the cleanliness and the fact that the pizza tasted good despite everything. ------ We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant on a Friday evening and even with the house full the atmosphere was simply wonderful. We were impressed by the delicious food and the appealing ambience. We sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed the great location of the restaurant. The service was optimal, despite the rush, we felt well looked after. An all-round successful experience that we would happily recommend!

17 euros for 4 baked cannelloni, 20 euros for a piece of salmon with a dollop of spinach and 5 small duchess potatoes - sorry, but we wanted to be full. Had to order extra bread and a dessert, then it was okay. Service was very nice, unfortunately we forgot a side salad and a dessert wasn't ready at half past three. There was a free drink as an apology, which was nice. Definitely a location where you have to spend a lot of money, which I thought was a shame.

Friendly people, but unfortunately a bit too expensive.

The two of us were in the restaurant today around 6 p.m. The ambience is still recommended! The service is ok, no trained staff and it's fine for today's gastronomy times. Unfortunately the quality of the kitchen has noticeably deteriorated!!! Instant soups, frozen side dishes and downsized recipes…are the result. Today's example; I regularly order the Saltimbocca alla romana because this dish was always very good. This classic is now served with pork instead of veal. The ham was loose and carelessly thrown onto the meat... (Only half a slice of each “schnitzel”). The quality has deteriorated significantly and the price-performance ratio at €29 for frozen pork schnitzel is absolutely not justified and can almost be rated as cheeky. It's a shame that such a qualified restaurant can no longer live up to its good reputation and maintain the standard... I can no longer make any recommendations for this. 2-3* maximum. Good food and good service can and must have its price, but if the ratio is reversed, it is no longer sustainable! See and try for yourself, it's my subjective opinion!

Die sehr leckeren Portionen sehen zwar klein aus, reichen aber absolut um satt zu werden. Saftige Preise, besonders bei den Desserts. Sehr netter Service.
