Wir fanden Nonna di Mia zufällig und aßen eine sehr leckere Pizza mit superfrischen Zutaten, Fior di latte - eine Art Mozzarella. Die Bedienungen waren allesamt sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Es gibt einen taghellen Wintergarten im hinteren Teil des Restaurants, jedoch auch alle anderen Sitzplätze wirken sehr einladend. Im Hintergrund läuft leise italienische Musik, interessante Schwarz-Weiß Fotos mit italienischen Orten an den Wänden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We ordered a bruschetta with prosciutto as a starter, and for the main courses, a lasagna that was delicious and fresh, and a tagliata speciale with a good cut of meat, perfect for those who enjoy steamed vegetables and olives. So the ambience at the back towards the Old Market was really great. Very quiet, despite being a Friday evening. Our service was very friendly, courteous and quick. Unfortunately, the other waitresses were very unfriendly, often ignored you or sat down at a table with friends to chat, smoke, etc., which was very unusual. The food itself is very good, the only thing I have to complain about with my burrata is that when it comes to a pizza with cherry tomatoes, as it says on the menu, four cherry tomatoes on the pizza is a joke. Unfortunately, the toilets were also very dirty.

Best Italian in Dortmund. I can only recommend it. We will come again.

The two of us came here spontaneously and the drinks and food came quickly. Service was very friendly, we always asked if everything was ok. The Mediterranean pizza was very tasty. White wine well chilled thanks to the freshly served ice cubes. All in all very satisfied. 👍🏼

Were there for the first time today. Service - very friendly and accommodating! The food was of good quality and recommended.

We happened to be there and stayed for a good three hours...This was partly due to the absolute top service, which is missing everywhere these days, and then to the divine stone oven bread offers and the good drinks...A discovery!

The starter was incredibly tasty! On the other hand, the main course was not so great. I ordered baked salmon. It seemed way overcooked, dry, and bland. Besides being very, very hot (when 31 degrees outside), it had way too much oil. The tagliatelle with salmon were way overcooked, and the pasta water was not drained well enough, so it remained on the plate :) The drink was okay, the service as well. The prices... for the quality and quantity of the food, rather high.

We were at a birthday party there in the back area with about 30 people As a starter I found the stone oven bread very large 👍and delicious 😃 The lasagne was very hot and a lot, the taste could have been a little spicier😳

Unfortunately the experience at Nonna di Mia this evening was a huge disappointment. The waiting times were unreasonable, as was the friendliness or unfriendliness of the staff. To top it off, we as guests were even rudely complimented out of the store. This hardly invites you to visit again!

The staff is incredibly unfriendly. We waited 1 hour before we were even allowed to order the drinks. After the waitress came to the table in an incredibly bad mood and irritated to take our order, we were given absolutely unacceptable drinks. (we had to return the Lillet) Instead of nicely informing us that the shop was closing, the waitress in question came to the table in an incredibly irritated manner and told us that we had to leave the shop immediately. After we pointed this out to her and questioned her tone and choice of words towards us, we as guests were told that we had nothing to say to her. It was an unbelievably worst restaurant experience!

I was hoping for more, it was the first and last time for me. So the noodles didn't taste like anything and the pizza was a catastrophe for me, sorry, my personal opinion.

Everything is just great. The staff was incredibly pleasant and kind. The choice of food was limited as we were there as a large group, but it was extremely tasty. Lovely again.

Service was terrible, especially the blonde chef was very rude. I would not visit again.

I was recently at this restaurant and unfortunately very disappointed with the service. The boss, a blonde waitress, was extremely rude during my visit. Your unprofessional behavior spoiled the entire dining experience. That's why I won't come back. I really hope management resolves this issue so that other guests are treated better.

Sat here to eat some food and watch Euro 2024 (Austria v. France). I'll start with saying that is was busy due to the football match. However, there was only 1 staff attending the many tables outside (other staff was helping serving the food, but only 1 lady taking new orders). It took a loooong time (at least 25 minutes) to be able to place our order - and I am sure I made eye contact multiple times. More staff should've been placed to handle the crowd. The table wasn't cleaned until we ordered (were able to...) our drink and food. Once the food was ordered, it was served without waiting too long. The food, a spaghetti pasta and a salad was good, prices were affordable as well. Drinks were pricey.

Great ambiance, I have been there for lunch as well as for dinner. The lighting in the night makes definitely a difference ✨️ Ate the same thing over and over again. We wanted to eat something after an appointment and ordered bread with avocado, egg and a salad. The avocado was not peeled, but was lying in pieces under the egg with the peel on. We complained about this and then discovered that the salad had no dressing. The salad didn't look appealing either, whole slices of ham and cheese were just on top. We also asked here. If both of the two dishes you ordered are not okay and they are not addressed well, you no longer feel like staying to eat. Then a woman came and said there was dressing on the salad and took my cutlery and tossed up my salad to prove that there was dressing on the salad, but there wasn't. After that, I definitely didn't want to eat this salad anymore, even with the dressing added. It got ugly, the lady was very, very unfriendly and not professional. Oh yes, the food, the man in the kitchen was allowed to stand alone in the kitchen for the first day and obviously has no idea about cooking. I can't recommend eating there. Going there with this woman's type is subjectively not recommended.

Wenn ihr essen gehen wollt, geht woanders hin! Wir haben 2 Gerichte bestellt, die beide nicht in Ordnung waren. Bei dem Avocadobrot war die Avocado ungeschält mit Schale in Stücken unter dem Spiegelei. Beim Salat fehlte das Dressing und Schinken und Käse lagen in ganzen Scheiben obenauf, lieblos und nicht genießbar. Eine Mitarbeiterin nahm mein Besteck und zerwühlte den Salat um zu beweisen, dass doch Dressing im Salat war, es war aber wirklich kein Dressing vorhanden und die Art geht gar nicht, das wollte ich nicht mehr essen. Diese Frau war sehr unfreundlich, wir wollten nur noch gehen. Sie bestand auf Bezahlung des Salates, wurde immer lauter. Der Koch hatte seinen ersten Tag alleine und keine Ahnung vom Kochen. Kein richtig ausgebildetes Personal mit teilweise unmöglichem Verhalten.

Unfortunately, the food at Nonna die Mia was only okay compared to other higher-priced Italian restaurants. The toppings on the pizzas were too sparse and bland for the price range. The service was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately understaffed. Unfortunately we won't be coming back for that money.

At 10.30 p.m. they have to close early even though the opening hours are until midnight... never again!

Somehow the restaurateurs are becoming more and more greedy. You order a steak and you get 4 small, tough strips. At our table there was a mix between delicious and portions that were too small. Service was nice and tried hard - but too thinly staffed. Conclusion: this is exactly the system catering that makes itself superfluous.

If you're craving moldy Parma ham on your pizza, this is the place to be. To explain: “This is normal and comes from smoking.”

The fod its no fresh and servis its rreally so bad

We’ve been going to this restaurant since it was still named Scoozi, and we go regularly 3-4 times a month. Staff have always been nice until yesterday. Food quality is not bad. Usually I would order some food, a drink, and ask for a glass of water from the tap. Sometimes because I need to take my medication, sometimes because I don’t like Selters water they sell there and I would tip the staff for this kindness, because in Germany, service is hard to get. Yesterday an unfriendly black-haired staff informed me that she won’t give me a glass of water, because it is not allowed by her boss. I was stunned, because in Germany, legally, gastronomy are not allowed to refuse serving tap water. They can ask the customers to pay for the water, but not refuse serving tap water to the customers. I understand it is often called service dessert in Germany but this is outrageous. The friendlier waiter that came afterwards explained that their boss has told them not to serve tap water because she thought they are not making enough profit. I mean, it is water! It’s morally wrong to try to get as much money as you can from your customers by refusing to serve water! And it has nothing to do with tap water! I ordered a drink and food and asked for some tap water. If you want more profit, try to improve your menu and be friendlier to your customers! Nevertheless, I will move our group’s eating out events to somewhere else with better service. After years of going to Nonna di Mia, unfortunately. Plus if anyone wants to have better Italian food and service in Dortmund go to Il Tappo at Plauener Str. they are authentic Venetian food and their Margherita Pizza is 7 Eur whereas at Nonna di Mia it’s 10,95 Eur and not that good, plus you get some bad service on top of that.

The food is catastrophic! The Bolognese tastes like nothing. Tastes like tap water. You'll look in vain for minced meat. I'd say it's worse than canned meat warmed up in the microwave. Portion very small and too expensive for the quality or more precisely, no quality. Employees unfriendly and snooty, employees forget orders! It happened before that I didn't get any change because they didn't have any change. I was supposed to wait for my change but the employee just didn't come back. It wasn't a lot of money. But that doesn't work. Even though you're sitting at the table, you suddenly just make reservation cards on! When you sit at the table it is occupied, what is wrong? The table does not have to be reserved! What kind of customer interaction is this? Then you have the feeling that it is a homeless shelter there. There are always people who sit there with a strange trolley full of magazines and are constantly sleeping there. Is this a cafe/bar or sleeping accommodation? Anyone avoid this cafe in the future.

Tiramisu Deluxe and cappuccino are a fantastic combination.

Wir haben für eine kleine Gruppe einen Tisch reserviert. Als wir ankamen und die Reservierung nannten, sahen uns erst fragende Augen junger Damen an und anschließend wurde uns gesagt, dass wir uns Plätze aussuchen könnten, es sei vieles frei. Also haben wir begonnen, Tische zu rücken. Wenn ich reserviere, erwarte ich eigentlich, dass alles bereit ist... Aber nun ja, nach doppelter Aufforderung durften wir nach 20 Minuten endlich etwas zu trinken bestellen. Bis die Getränke kamen und wir Essen bestellen konnten, verging wieder einige Zeit. Ebenso bis das Essen kam. Eine erneute Bestellung von Getränken war nicht möglich, da niemand mehr vorbeikam oder rübersah. Wir konnten beobachten, dass der Innenbereich und zwei große Außenterrassen von 2 (!) jungen Leuten im Service bearbeitet wurden, eine junge Dame war hinter dem Tresen und in der Küche wird es nicht anders ausgesehen haben, denn wir haben sehr lange auf unser Essen gewartet und konnten sehen, dass Teller teilweise lange unter der Wärmlampe der Küchenausgabe standen, bevor jemand Zeit hatte, sie zum Tisch zu bringen. Fazit, die location ist wirklich nett gemacht, das Essen lecker aber der Service (zumindest in Dortmund) sehr schlecht. Man hätte an uns deutlich mehr verdienen können, aber wir wurden einfach nicht bedient. Personalmangel gut und schön, aber dann muss man das Platzangebot entsprechend der Angestellten verkleinern. Wir werden definitiv nicht wiederkommen, dafür gibt es auf der konkurrenzstarken Kleppingstraße genug andere Restaurants.

Very loud, food ok but quite expensive, service good but often not seen

This place offers a satisfying coffee experience with brews that hit the mark in terms of flavor and aroma. However, it falls short in catering to a diverse array of dietary preferences, offering only regular and oat milk, with a notable absence of lactose-free and gluten-free alternatives. Additionally, its Aperol Spritz leaves much to be desired; the spirit's quality is underwhelming, paired with a mediocre prosecco, and the balance of ingredients seems off, detracting from what could be a delightful refreshment.

Very tasty Neapolitan pizza, the Aperol also tastes great and the prices are reasonable.

Tasty, nicely prepared, some exceptional dishes... overall highly recommended.

NEVER AGAIN ! Here the guest is VERAR....! -Waited forever for service even though there wasn't much going on. At some point, when a cellar finally arrived, I got the completely wrong drink! - I ordered spaghetti pomodoro. There was talk of burrata, but ultimately it was a hint or should I say a “dot” of burrata. Of course I told the waiter this. He didn't seem to understand and said "Of course you can't get a whole burrata". Well, I know things differently in real Italian restaurants! When I showed him the picture on the menu, he bluntly said it was just an illustration! What a juice shop, we had our dessert and espresso somewhere else!

I have to admit that I am a repeat visitor and always enjoy coming here. The pizza is simply the best around! And I actually mean all kinds. Pasta dishes are also great, but for my personal taste the pizzas are much better. It's good to sit, most recently in the winter garden with a group of ten people, comfortable, friendly service - it's really highly recommended.

Yesterday the four of us went to the restaurant and ordered pizzas. The pizzas cost between €10 and €20. For this price the pizza should be perfect. This was not the case. The fruity tomato sauce was not there. The edge was very dry and not that fluffy. The beef steak strips on the pizza were well cooked and therefore very dry. The seafood pizza was also bland. It's more appearance than reality. Therefore only three stars.

We gingen op zaterdagavond hier eten. Het was druk, dus moesten we aan de bar wachten. Dat vonden we prima, onder het genot van een fles heerlijke, zeer betaalbare rode wijn. Na een klein half uurtje kregen we een tafel en bestelden we eten. Vooraf Vitello Tonnato. Het vlees was wataan de droge kant, maar de heerlijke saus maakte dat goed. Als hoofdgerecht Pizza Diavola en Lasagne. Ook erg lekker! Op zo’n drukke avond zouden de fraaie toiletten net wat vaker schoongemaakt kunnen worden. Ze zijn niet vies, maar zouden net wat frisser mogen. Maar al met al is het hier prima toeven, ook dankzij het vriendelijke personeel.

Das Essen war super. Die Bedienung war zu selten am Tisch.

Waren am Wochenende mit Freunden da. Leider total enttäuscht. Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Vom Ambiente, Geschmack des Essens alles ok. Aber die Größe der Portion völlige verarsche. Ich hatte den Schafskäse mit Gemüse und etc.... Wird als Hauptspeise angeboten. Mini Portion, zwei kleine Stücke Käse mit 2-3 Streifen Paprika, 2 Cherrytomaten und Mini Chili +Knoblauch. Kaum Olivenöl drin. Der ganze Inhalt bedeckte gerade mal teilweise den Boden von der Auflaufform. Einfach nur Frechheit für 13 Euro. Ich war des öfteren schon da und hatte das gleiche Gericht schon mal da gegessen. War damals deutlich mehr und besser. Habe das auch gesagt dem Personal. Es erfolgte nur das tut uns leid und wird weiter an die Küche gegeben. Es wurde noch nichts mal was als Entschädigung angeboten. Mal n Kaffe oder eine Kleinigkeit. In der guten Lokation sollte das eigentlich kein Problem sein. Schade.

Wir gehen hier immer gerne Essen und sind bis jetzt noch nicht enttäuscht worden.Das Service Personal ist immer Aufmerksam und Höflich.

Die Pizza in diesem Restaurant ist den Preis leider nicht wert. Die Pizzen kosten zwischen 13-20 Euro, da kann man schon ein bisschen was erwarten. Geschmacklich ist sie soweit okay, jedoch habe ich schon deutlich bessere Pizzen gegessen für weniger Geld. Der Käse war wie Gummi auf der Pizza, der Teig war in Ordnung, jedoch hat es meiner Meinung nach wenig mit einer italischen Pizza zu tun. Deswegen gerade so 3 Sterne. Der Service war freundlich, das Ambiente soweit ganz nett und gemütlich.

Ich war gestern zum 2. Mal hier. Beim ersten Mal fand ich die Erfahrung super, aber da war auch nicht viel Betrieb. Gestern allerdings war im hinteren Außenbereich, wo meine Freundin und ich saßen, mehr los. Gäste , die später als wir eingetroffen sind, wurden zuerst bedient, obwohl wir mehrmals nach einer Bedienung gerufen haben. Hinter uns hatten einige Gäste das Lokal verlassen, da sie die gleiche Erfahrung teilten. Das Essen kam allerdings recht zügig nachdem die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Als wir abrechnen wollten, mussten wir drei verschiedene Service-Mitarbeiter darum bitten, weil der jeweils vorherige das vergessen hatte. Wir mussten vom Außenbereich in das Lokal reingehen damit uns Beachtung geschenkt wurde. Nach der Bezahlung habe ich die Kritik - konstruktiv - geäußert, jedoch wurde daraufhin nur defensiv und rechtfertigend reagiert. Ein drittes Mal komme ich hier ungern hin.

Endlich etwas leckeres in der Stadt!! Und keine Wurst und Pommes🤮das Einzige, was uns gestört hat - es war dreckig draußen, sehr schade ☹️

Waren Freitagabend gegen 18:40 zum ersten mal dort. Saßen hinten auf der Terrasse die an sich auch ganz schön ist. Das Essen war optisch ansprechend angerichtet und auch lecker. Allerdings wirkt der Service sehr unstrukturiert/unorganisiert. Nachdem wir die Getränke bestellt hatten sollten wir weshalb auch immer noch einmal warten um das Essen zu bestellen. Der Kellner wollte „gleich“ wiederkommen. Allerdings sind dann noch einmal ca. 15 Minuten vergangen bis wir ihn letztens Endes selber auf uns aufmerksam machen mussten um das Essen zu bestellen. Leider hat dieses sehr lange auf sich warten lassen. Und nein der Laden war nicht brechend voll und bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Aufgrund der langen Wartezeit haben wir uns auch nicht mehr für ein Dessert entschieden.

Ich finde es gibt nichts zu meckern. Das Essen ist super lecker, wir haben nie lange gewartet. Der Service ist super nett und zuvorkommend. Für mich gibt es hier nichts zu beanstanden. Wir kommen immer wieder ❤️

Wir hatten bei trockenem Wetter (vorher hatte es geregnet) einen Tisch draußen ergattert. Nachdem wir recht lange gewartet hatten bis jemand kam, wurde uns direkt gesagt, dass wir draußen nichts zu essen bekommen, sondern nur etwas trinken dürfen und falls es nochmal regnet, direkt abkassiert würde und wir nichts neues bestellen könnten. So geht man nicht mit Kunden um - insbesondere weil 2 Meter entfernt direkt vor dem Laden auch Außentische waren, die draußen auch Essen serviert bekamen. The service of this restaurant was fast...no long waits for drinks or food...the menu was very basic with Italian favorite dishes...the food was very tasty and nicely presented. Overall, a good experience.
