Great pizza, attentive service and very friendly, despite the restaurant being fully booked. Nice terrace in great surroundings.

Four pizzas were ordered, one was delivered without toppings.

Top pizza and attentive service. The decor is very stylish, but when there's a lot going on, it can be quite loud. Just like in a train station hall. Overall, an unreserved recommendation.

Stopped for dinner here our first night in Dortmund. Nice large patio. Portions were large and tasty. Service with the drinks was a little slow.

There were two of us. For the starter, Brucetta, 3 of 4 pieces of bread were not crispy but burnt. The noodles were too salty, which was dismissed with an “oh, I’ll pass it on.” And when we paid, the waitress asked if we would still like to give a tip despite the bad food. You can't beat it when it comes to cheekiness.

We ordered food. The chicken was forgotten in the salads and the pasta was completely forgotten. Unfortunately, even after calling, the restaurant didn't want to provide anything because it was too late. Instead, the money should be given back in the form of a voucher. This is still missing. No more answers, not even to my email. At least a friendly driver.

The food and drinks are okay. You know what to expect. But the service is bad. We waited over 10 minutes to get the menu cards. Then another 30 minutes until we could order the drinks. Had to go to the front of the counter. The drinks came relatively quickly. However, paying took time again. When I complained about the service there wasn't even an apology. It wasn't because there weren't enough employees in the store, but rather the employees chatted among themselves and simply didn't pay attention to the guests.

It was very good. There were 4 of us. We ordered 2 pizzas for lunch. It was plenty.

The food and service were completely OK, the 1* rating is there for another reason: purchased vouchers from 2023 can no longer be used. Although the credit has not expired, it can no longer be redeemed in the restaurant. If you read on the L'Osteria website, you have to ask the partner bank at the time for a payment, including scanning your ID document, etc. Very poor customer service. As a L'Osteria customer, what do I have to do with their bank? Exactly, nothing at all. Another solution definitely had to be found.

I think the Losteria in Bochum is better in terms of food, but the service was bomb. There was an employee at the exit of the Losteria who said goodbye to us in a friendly manner and wished us a nice evening. The man is extremely likeable and would come back just for that reason!

Ordered food twice and it wasn't finished twice. Real dump. Is the health department turning a blind eye? Wait times from hell.

Catastrophe! We were at this restaurant on Sunday (July 28th) and will definitely not be back. Drink order was taken but was lost. Waited 30 minutes for drinks, waited 1 hour for food. Lettuce leaves were definitely not fresh, noodles were so hard that it had nothing to do with al dente. They couldn't even be skewered on a fork, and they were cold. Order more drinks? Not possible, no one from the staff felt responsible. Dessert again 30 minutes waiting time. The spaghetti ice cream arrived at the table melted and no longer had the consistency of an egg. So it must have been sitting in the kitchen ready to be picked up for ages. The store was well attended, but there were enough staff there and as a trained hotel manager I can judge that very well. There is a lot of room for improvement in this branch and with this team. There needs to be better training and planning there.

We were there on July 16th. We ate there with our entire team (13 people) and were very positively surprised. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. He always kept an eye on us and immediately provided supplies if something was missing. The food came for everyone at the same time and was very tasty. Huge portions 😄. Price performance was also good. We can't say anything negative about the Losteria at Europaplatz. Everything worked out to our complete satisfaction. We'll be happy to come back 👍 Thanks again and big praise to your team and especially to our waiter 😉

Well, L'osteria. Yes, the pizzas are mega big. But does it have to be that the edge extends 10 cm over the edge of the plate? I do not know. It's good that you can share the pizza and have it served half/half. But let's be honest, that works elsewhere too. I think it's nice to sit outside and inside and that's definitely the biggest advantage compared to other Italians. Outside you sit next to olive and lemon trees. Very nice. Prices are okay.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant Every time I'm there I wait 2 hours for the pizza. They don't ask for a second drink either. I would understand if the store was packed - but no. Always chaotic

I really enjoy going to L'osteria on Europaplatz again and again. The food and especially the service is great. I would like to give special praise to the managing director Emre, who always makes a visit very pleasant. You are always welcomed very warmly and the employees are very accommodating. We recommend! :)

Where do I start... the pasta was NOT that good... but the pizza, a little more cheese would have been better... the waiting time was an absolute disaster.. the store wasn't full, very manageable.. but still waited for a good 1 hour a pizza and a plate of pasta.. The Cola is sold as Cola.. Unfortunately no Coca Cola... tastes absolutely like Afri Coce.. well. Been here for the first and last time✌🏽

Man oh man, what's going on with L'Osteria Europlatz!!!! We haven't eaten such bad pizza in a long time. A disaster both visually and taste-wise. I don't know if we ate the box, but that's what the pizza tasted like. Price goes up, taste and quality way down. Is this the new direction of L'Osteria????

The L'Osteria at Europaplatz is very nice. Our waiter was great, I think his name was Venlon. He served us really well and also got the drinks, because unfortunately, after a long wait and even though the starter was already at the table, the drinks were still not with us. He was really great and we hope that something like that will be registered. The food was also very good. We were able to spend a very nice evening there

Too loud....it's not that loud in Kamen and downtown Dortmund

L'Osteria's huge pizzas are simply good. Above all, it's good to know that you can split the toppings half/half, meaning you can practically order two different pizzas in one. Personally, it's sometimes too loud for me and conversations aren't really possible. Some soundproofing measures would certainly be appropriate here. Otherwise very nice staff and personal approach. In that respect, great.

The two of us got a nice table without a reservation during the week. The food was delicious so far, unfortunately my pizza was way too spicy (can't remember if there was a note on the menu?!). Unfortunately, I couldn't eat my pizza, which cost almost €18. Otherwise the ambience was nice, I will go again.

Nice employees who took care of us. It looks good too, but the volume is almost unbearable. The music was turned up twice during the evening, so that you couldn't even hear the person sitting next to you. Too bad. The food is just similar everywhere, tasty and overpriced.

I've been there several times and it's actually quite good. The pizzas are super tasty and look great. However, the tortelloni were not good. They were quite cold and still very hard. In addition, the pasta was brought to us 20 minutes before the pizzas, which of course wasn't nice since we all wanted to eat together. At least they could have brought the side salad. Drinks were delicious and the nice man who served us was friendly and competent. It is sometimes very loud in the restaurant and it is difficult to have a conversation. Birthday surprise with tiramisu was a success :)

Nice local with a cozy outdoor area. Staff is super friendly and they were able to confidently answer questions about my choice from the menu. I chose the Orecchiette di Manzo al Limone and it was really delicious, although the dish wasn't really spicy even though it was labeled with a chili. The peppers were a little spicier, but not really hot. The local is located directly on the Stadtkrone and is therefore perfectly connected to the B1.

We were here with a large group. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic, especially from our waiter Fendor! We like to come back again and again.

Expected nothing and still disappointed😃. As always, the quality of the food was very good and the service, especially in relation to this L'Osteria, was unsatisfactory. Other establishments often have a problem with the speed of service, but here you just have to emphasize that being friendly and attentive is definitely different. I would rather wait a little longer for my food than have the feeling of being an uninvited guest 😉. We will definitely not come to Dortmund again.

We (2 people and 2 dogs) were warmly welcomed and given a nice table in the center of the restaurant. The service (Anas) was attentive and we were quickly provided with drinks and bread. The carpaccio convinced the gentleman. The lady was more impressed with the risotto. Overall, a lovely evening with delicious food and good service. Only those who like it a little quieter won't be at home here... because the rooms are nice but it's quite loud. But if you prefer something busy, you've come to the right place :-)

We actually wanted to spend a nice evening at L'Osteria for our wedding anniversary. But here I can only agree with the other negative recessions. We were assigned a table directly under a loudspeaker so that conversation was hardly possible. In addition, this table was in a narrow passage so I had to move the chair to the neighboring table and back almost every time. We were completely ignored for the first 25 minutes. After placing our order, it took almost an hour for us to receive our food. The gnocchi were probably ready long before the Piiza because the sauce on them had already dried and was only lukewarm. The topping of the pizza was a laughing stock, I had four small pieces of zucchini, as many pieces of eggplant, three mushroom slices and, if I recognized correctly, two cherry tomato halves with a small handful of rocket. We didn't want to place any more orders (coffee, dessert) given the service and waiting times. I don't know what other L'Osteria are like, I can't recommend this one.

Yesterday we had dinner at L’Osteria on Europaplatz before the CL final at 5 p.m. The waiter seemed extremely unmotivated and this continued throughout the time we spent there. We had to wait a long time for him to come and take the order, but once he did that it went relatively quickly. After dinner he came after some time and asked if he should pack the pizza. We said yes, he brought the pizza, but he had several in his hand. He threw the box with the pizza on the table as he walked past. I said we wanted to pay and he was rude, didn't even say "bye". In the end, it wasn't until I got home that I noticed, because for once I didn't look in the box, that he gave me a completely wrong pizza from strangers. It upsets me not only because his behavior was inappropriate since he works in service, but also because I was looking forward to the pizza. Motivated and polite employees make a big difference. You should think about it. And soon you will have to give the customers the right pizza, as this is not hygienically acceptable and unprofessional in combination with the employee's appearance. The restaurant cannot be recommended!!!

Food is always great at Losteria and with good value. The service is was incredible. I ordered the wrong beer by mistake, and they changed it for me without any fuss about it.(ordered the one with alcohol, while I wanted the alcohol free)

We ordered pizza and pasta online and picked it up. The size of the pizzas is considerable, the taste and quality were okay. The sausage was quite greasy so it soaked the box. The mozzarella on the pizza would also have liked to have melted a little. The restaurant offers a great feeling of space: open, bright and chic. I also liked the large, quiet outdoor area. Instead of taking the food with me, I would have preferred to eat it there. (05/2024)
