Very loud, the atmosphere is like a train station. The staff plays your favorite music, then turns it up even louder. Service only comes when you call for it. The food isn't bad. Thank you for the feedback, and I'll check it out again when I get the chance. Grazie, a dopo!

There were six of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pizza, the pasta, and the salad. Every dish was delicious. Special praise goes to our always friendly and attentive waiter, "Mo"! We also had two birthdays with us, and Mo surprised them both with a delicious dessert. Many thanks to the Losteria team and especially to Mo for a wonderful evening!

Delicious pizzas and pasta; the dough is wonderfully crispy and thin. It could use a bit more topping, but that's just my personal preference 😉 The pasta was well-seasoned and flavorful, very good 😋 The restaurant is a bit noisy, but that's to be expected given its size. All in all, highly recommended!

The food was, as always, a 10 out of 10—you really can't complain. The waiter, Andi, was especially friendly and took good care of us.

A complete disappointment! We were there for my son's 10th birthday. When we finally ordered, the pizzas didn't come back as ordered, divided between two plates (since the kids couldn't eat a whole one), so we deliberately ordered them that way. The waiter took them away to slice but unfortunately brought them back cold. On top of that, the pineapple pizza came with noticeably rotten/bad pineapple, which you could tell without even trying it. I then brought it back myself, as there was no waiter in sight for a long time. We also had to wait a long time for drinks. The young men preferred to serve young women who were there without male companions. Around 5:00 p.m., the noise level was still okay, but that quickly changed around 6:00 p.m. It was almost impossible to have a conversation there. We won't be visiting this place again.

We love it here. Orders are taken and delivered quickly. It's best to make a reservation, especially on weekends.

I can't recommend this restaurant. The tables and floor were dirty and hadn't been mopped properly. The lasagna tasted like it came from a can, and it was sticking to the bowl. The wine was very stale, and many of the drinks were watery. Furthermore, no warning was given about the blazing hot bowls, which could burn you badly, making eating a real ordeal, especially for children. All in all, not so good.

Well, despite an early reservation (3-4 hours in advance), the reserved table was dirty – not to mention the floor and chairs. Ordered 4 dishes for 4 people: The lasagna didn't taste good, and the bowl was so hot you could burn yourself badly if you touched it. The tortellini wasn't either – the portions were very small, and the tortellini were very tough, as if they hadn't been cooked properly. The mushroom risotto tasted okay, but the rice was very hard. The pizza was good. However, 3 out of 4 people had stomach aches a few hours after the visit. The staff was overwhelmed; after giving us honest feedback, they simply said, "Yes, I'll forward it." We also had to wait even longer for the bill. While observing the staff, we noticed that other tables hadn't been cleaned properly, and after "wiping" them down, there were still crumbs on the neighboring table. In summary, I have to say that this visit to the Losteria in Dortmund was very disappointing - the experience at a Losteria in Brandenburg was much better.

I find the toppings are a bit spread out on the giant pizza. So, depending on the pizza, you end up with a bit less topping.

The ambience is a bit of a letdown, as the noise level is enormous once several tables are occupied. The local music is also a challenge.

Unfortunately, it's bad. Even if you don't have high expectations of a chain restaurant, it certainly shouldn't be like this. The pizzas are good, huge, and reasonably topped, the pasta is simply terrible. Only lukewarm, flavorless, the aglio and olio lacked any garlic, and the pesto was pre-made. On top of that, the service was poor (tables took ages to clear, ordered spoons, etc., were never brought) and (of course) extremely loud. You either like it or you don't. We won't be back.

We had the truffle pasta from the summer menu (both of us had stomach aches afterward) and the new pistachio tiramisu. It's absolutely outrageous to offer something like that at that price... it comes in a mini jar with a teaspoon of pistachio cream on top.

Good big pizzas, tasted good, the waitress didn't seem to be at work that day. The place was very modern and large, good space between the tables, a bit noisy.

We've been there several times, but things have definitely declined. Pizzas with a 5 cm crust and minimal toppings. The staff was friendly. Long waits for very uncomfortable chairs (outside) mean we won't go there again.

I always enjoy going to L'Osteria at Europlatz. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, ideal for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The pizzas are huge, delicious, and freshly topped. The value for money is absolutely spot on: The prices are completely reasonable for the quality and size of the dishes.

First and foremost, the food was excellent. Value for money was okay. Huge pizzas, but with very few toppings. I have to say, though, that even the service itself is one star too many, as our waiter (Fendon, as it says on the receipt) was very disorganized. We also had the feeling he wasn't quite on the ball, as his eyes were red and glassy. So if we ever visit this restaurant again, we will definitely ask for a different waiter. Because this is NOT OK!!!!

July 12, 2025: The food was great, and we also had good service (who was always running around). (We had to get attention at first, though, to at least order drinks.) The person responsible for the few service points was the shift manager...sitting at the bar and walking around, while about 8-10 tables around us could be cleared and cleaned (or taking orders). Addendum: After 2 hours, 2 of the tables are still crumbly.

The pizzas have a thin base but are huge.

The pizzas are large, the toppings seem to be placed very centrally, as if the crust doesn't belong there. Nevertheless, they're still quite tasty. To really fill you up, you can definitely order a bit more (unfortunately, they don't offer half pizzas for reordering, only salad and dessert), and the spicy flavor on the menu is barely noticeable in the pizza. At a corporate event, I would have preferred to have asked for drinks more often. The ambiance is quite nice, but too modern for me.

The food is, as usual, good and delicious. We'd like to come back more often, but we were hoarse after our last visit. Perhaps it was louder because we were sitting in a corner; the music was at a volume that was more than unpleasant. When a birthday song was played twice in the evening, which is a nice idea in itself, the volume was as loud as a disco. Conversation was impossible...

Since we were greeted very unfriendly at the reception and the waitress didn't even feel it necessary to greet us, we unfortunately didn't get to eat at all and left the restaurant immediately.

But I've experienced that in Dortmund city center before. Too bad in this case. 1 star – Shrimp missing, panna cotta retired, pasta overcooked L'Osteria, what the hell was that? I order salad, pasta, shrimp, and a panna cotta to finish off sweetly – sounds like a lovely evening, right? Well. The reality: pasta so overcooked that even my fork recoils. No bite at all – more like culinary retirement savings. Shrimp? Apparently they decided they'd rather not work today. And the panna cotta? Probably in the witness protection program. In any case, the two never arrived. So I call – polite, hungry, slightly disappointed – and what do I get? A cheeky reply, as if it were my fault that the order was incomplete. And then it comes: "We'll give Leon his money back." Who's Leon?! My name isn't Leon. I ordered, I paid – Leon is welcome to have some, but I'd just like my food. Conclusion: Service that resembled a construction site, overcooked pasta, missing shrimp, and a meager dessert. For that money, I could have just cried into my pillow on an empty stomach – it would have been cheaper and probably nicer.

We were there yesterday for "Notte Italiana" and ate, drank, and listened. We also really enjoyed Riccardo Doppio's live performance; he has such a beautiful voice, and he even sang our wedding song. Mille grazie. The pizza was, as usual, delicious as always, but it felt a bit smaller (see pictures). The ambiance is modern and chic with lots of Italian, but the volume is generally a bit loud (if you like it quiet and peaceful, this might just be the wrong place). But it didn't bother us, since we were sitting right next to the live act anyway. The staff is friendly, so you can't complain. Thank you, Losteria Dortmund Europaplatz team, for the wonderful event. <3

The food is delicious. BUT, the problem is the service. Three of us went out to eat and we waited 20 minutes for our drinks, even though there were only three tables occupied. Then, eventually, the food arrived. The pizza was delicious as always. It was supposed to have garlic on it, even extra garlic, but it wasn't on it. In the end, you pay without getting a bill. You probably pay for something you didn't get, but you can't see it because there's no bill.

We easily made a reservation online for our civil wedding for 12 friends, which made things a lot easier!! The food is absolutely delicious, as always!!🧡 We even received a dessert from the house as a wedding "gift" - thank you so much for that!!🫶🏼 I/We highly recommend the restaurant and the location, thank you so much!!🧡🧡 (The only small negative point: the music is always a bit too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation with larger groups)🫶🏼

Two of us came to dinner today! The food was great, service could have been a little quicker, but that's okay on such a warm day when the restaurant is crowded! :) Nevertheless, very competent service, you are asked whether everything is good, whether anything is missing and whether you would like dessert or coffee afterwards. :) We have visited Europaplatz several times and always thought it was great! The 4 stars are also complaints on a high level. ;)

Sowohl innen als auch außen war es proppenvoll - bei augenscheinlich zu wenig Personal. Trotzdem wurde wohl auch noch Essen ausgeliefert 😯 Wir haben fast 15 Minuten gewartet, bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben konnten, dann 20 Minuten auf unsere Getränke (zwei Flaschen Bier ohne Gläser, das fand ich da noch witzig) gewartet, dann nochmal 20 Minuten aufs Essen. An der Küche lag es vermutlich nicht, denn die Pizzen waren bereits nur noch lauwarm, als die am Tisch ankamen. Die standen wohl schon länger irgendwo rum. Die Bedienung war gestresst, überfordert und unhöflich, tat uns aber bei dem Arbeitspensum dort trotzdem noch leid! Anstatt gemütlich zu essen waren wir irgendwann auch nur noch genervt und froh, als es endlich vorbei war. Fazit: never ever again!!

We often and happily eat at L’Osteria Dortmund on Europaplatz with the whole family. The food is delicious, the shop is clean and the staff is very friendly and fond of children. Highly recommended.

The evening itself was fun thanks to the service staff, the pizzas are very good for my taste, although in our case the half pizzas for take away were folded in the middle and then wrapped in foil. Result, everything is muddy, not edible, then disposed of, thank you very much,,,,

I'm actually very satisfied with L'Osteria at Europaplatz. On the one hand, I never have problems with the parking space (there is always enough), on the other hand, they never say "Sorry, we're fully booked" and if they do, we're always offered to be patient, as a table will definitely become available again. Besides, the money here is never too bad for me, considering what I get for it. Everyone strives to satisfy the customer! The facility could possibly be renewed and the staff could be increased in the evenings. However, the young staff goes out of their way to give visitors advice and help and to make them feel welcome, absolutely. I travel a lot and have appointments at the same chain, but there are still differences in the food. Whether that is Kamen, Bochum, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Gelsenkirchen, Herne etc., there are small but noticeable differences. Whether it's the warm drinks, whether it's the pasta, whether it's the pizza, I've actually sometimes noticed big differences, which is why I actually try to avoid some branches. I can only warmly recommend Europaplatz. I feel good, and so do the food and drinks. My recommendation absolutely applies to Europaplatz when it comes to L'Osteria again. So, buon appetito!

Absolute failure! I had dinner there yesterday with my family and I was more than disappointed, we were about to leave the restaurant. We ordered a pizza with two halves that my wife and I wanted to share and our son had a children's pizza. It took forever for the food to reach us. The waitress explained to us that it was taking so long because a lot of out-of-house orders were being processed. Since the restaurant has an open kitchen and we were sitting at a table from where we could see into the kitchen, we saw that too, but that's exactly where my understanding ends. I actually always thought that customers had priority in the restaurant. I wonder what principle is being used there. Customer satisfaction is not the top priority. My son was getting whiny because he was hungry. The waitress noticed this and brought him bread with olive oil. Thank you for that. The only positive thing about this visit was the service. She was very friendly, accommodating and, as already mentioned, she tried to keep our son happy. Otherwise I can only say it was an absolute failure because the pizzas weren't that special. They lost us as guests. Very disappointing and not recommended.

Very nice L'Osteria location! When the restaurant is busy on weekends, it is a bit noisy. However, the atmosphere is nicer than in the branch in the city center. The food is at the same good level as you would expect from this chain. The employees definitely deserve praise! Even when the store is busy, they make everything possible and are very accommodating, friendly and committed. All in all, I think this location is outstanding and I would always be happy to come back! If you are mobile, you should choose L'Osteria at Europaplatz over the other locations within reach in Dortmund city center and Kamen. The outdoor area is extremely attractive and a highlight, especially in summer. Aside from the "open-air season", this L'Osteria also invites you to linger. Top!

Wir mussten 2 Stunden und 10 Minuten warten. Keine Entschuldigung, sondern auch noch unhöflich bei der Lieferung. Das Essen war fast kalt. Wenn man kein ausreichendes Personal für Auslieferungen hat, sollte man auch keinen Liefer"service" anbieten. Und das alles für den Kurs. Nein danke. Es gibt genügend gute Restaurants.
