L'Osteria Dortmund Europaplatz in Dortmund

Excellent service and a friendly waiter in the evening. There were two of us there, and it wasn't very busy... The atmosphere was very nice and open. We ordered a pizza, and it was of a good standard. It was delicious; one of the better L'Osterias we've eaten at so far. Please keep up the good work.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff was great. However, we were all totally disappointed by the food. Of 5 pizzas, 2 of them were burnt, some ingredients were still very raw. The highlight was in the evening, we all vomited. ALL! This will definitely be our last visit with you.

Very nice L'Osteria location! When the restaurant is busy on weekends, it is a bit noisy. However, the atmosphere is nicer than in the branch in the city center. The food is at the same good level as you would expect from this chain. The employees definitely deserve praise! Even when the store is busy, they make everything possible and are very accommodating, friendly and committed. All in all, I think this location is outstanding and I would always be happy to come back! If you are mobile, you should choose L'Osteria at Europaplatz over the other locations within reach in Dortmund city center and Kamen. The outdoor area is extremely attractive and a highlight, especially in summer. Aside from the "open-air season", this L'Osteria also invites you to linger. Top!

It was very loud today. Averaged at 85 dB, peaking at 95 dB! I ordered a small Antipasti della Casa and got Insalate della Casa. By the time my correct order arrived, my companions were almost finished eating. I rate my meal as adequate. Overall, the visit was a disappointment for all three of us.

Absolute failure. We were there for lunch in a large group. It started with the fact that you couldn't collect points in your own app because we had already ordered the food when making the reservation (to save time). The food itself was okay but nothing special. However, for the price we were assuming here, it was okay. Then the shock comes when paying: The dish that was advertised as a lunch special with a drink for €10.90 suddenly cost €15 without a drink. When asked, it was explained that the branch was no longer taking part in the lunch offer. This is still not stated correctly on the website today. It is also completely incomprehensible why this was not communicated when ordering, as the dish ordered is only available on the lunch menu. The price charged is therefore not understandable since this dish does not even exist on the normal menu. Apparently someone just made up a price, because you won't find such round prices anywhere else on the menu. We felt ripped off from start to finish.

Wow! What a wonderful evening the restaurant "L'Osteria Dortmund Europaplatz" provided for me! It was a symphony of experiences, flavors, and hospitality. The very, very nice young man with the full beard (I think his name was Simon) served us very, very nicely. The food was delicious and truly a culinary experience. Thank you very much and I'd be happy to come back anytime!!!

I was recently at L’Osteria Dortmund and was really impressed - especially by the excellent service from our waiter Simon (with the long, well-groomed beard)! He was incredibly attentive, friendly and always had a smile on his face. Despite the restaurant being busy, he took the time to take our wishes into account and the food came quickly. The pizza was, as you would expect from L’Osteria, huge and delicious. An all-round successful evening – thanks to Simon and the team!

Good food, unfortunately often very crowded and noisy.

The atmosphere was simply fantastic. Finally, a place where no prudes forbid their children from being children. It was really nice. BUT there was a table for six of us, reserved for two hours. We arrived at 3 p.m. and ordered at a quarter past. The waitress came at 4:10 p.m. (for the first time after ordering) and said our pizzas would be in the oven soon. After a total of 1.5 hours, our food was brought to us. I had a pizza that was half arugula and half mushrooms. The base was completely soggy and the tomato sauce tasted suspiciously sweet/sour, like some ready-made tomato sauce from a jar. Even my son left his pizza. The base was completely soggy. The table was only cleared away after WE had put our plates and cutlery away. It's not like we didn't want to make contact a thousand times beforehand. At first, we made up all sorts of excuses ourselves to show understanding and to be good guests. We were really excited at first... But if you allow your employees to play on their phones in the guest room instead of serving customers... you can't expect much more, I guess. Definitely never again. We suspect our order was forgotten. After all, the ordering process went smoothly. We arrived with joy and appetite, we ate quite hungry, and left disappointed.

Not recommended. Table was very dirty and was only cleaned upon request. Staff was very rarely at the table. The food came very late and at long intervals, so that half of them were already finished while the others were still waiting for their food. Nothing special in terms of taste. The bruschetta was also very hard and dry. For the rest of the pizza there wasn't even a box for transport, just a paper bag, which of course got soggy.

I really enjoy going there. I recommend the spicy garlic dip with the pizza 😏

Waited over 1 hour despite reservation

I ate a Pizza Vegetariana today and was very disappointed with the toppings on the pizza. Absolutely minimalist, I could count peppers and zucchini. Given the size of the pizza, with a hefty price of €15.95, the rest was very manageable. It's a shame, I remembered it differently.

I had a great visit to the Losteria in Dortmund! The food was super tasty and really fresh. You can just tell how much emphasis is placed on quality here. The atmosphere is really cozy and invites you to relax. I particularly noticed the waiter Simon. He was very professional, but still super friendly and relaxed. It was a really nice evening and I can only recommend Losteria!

There were 6 of us eating there (4 adults, 2 children) The friendly service gave us a great place right next to the beautiful children's play area and looked after us very carefully throughout our stay. We were very satisfied. The food was very good. It was a very relaxed atmosphere.

Das ist kein Geschäftsgebaren, wir haben den Tisch reserviert und müssen dann trotzdem noch eine Stunde warten!!! Wir haben versucht telefonisch einen Tisch zu reservieren. Man sagte uns, dass wir nur noch online einen Tisch reservieren können. Wir haben dann auch für den nächsten Tag 18:00 Uhr online reserviert, von 18:00 bis 19:30 Uhr. Als wir dann dort an dem Tag essen wollten, sagte die Bedienung, der Tisch sei in fünf Minuten fertig. Allerdings ist im Moment so viel Betrieb, dass wir 40 Minuten bis eine Stunde mit dem Essen warten müssen! Wir haben dann abgesagt und sind in Aplerbeck zum Linguini gefahren. Dort wurden wir sehr zuvorkommend bedient, und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

My visit today was so terrible. On my birthday today I wanted to go out to eat with my pregnant girlfriend at l'osteria (at Europaplatz in Dortmund). After more than half an hour we were finally able to order. We were kindly allowed to wait 1st and 12 minutes for the “cold” food to arrive. And it only came because we asked where it was! The food on the table was cold and we had to wait another half an hour until someone finally came to pack the food for us..! To make it warm again at home... Beforehand, we had received bread on the table without any care, dry without oil etc… It was the worst visit to l'osteria I've ever had and then on my birthday!! We told the waitress in charge but it didn't change much because she said that the boss was to blame! Impossible!

The food was delicious, however the service was not good on this visit. Everyone seemed extremely overwhelmed and stressed, which can happen. But we weren't asked if we wanted to drink something new, if it tasted good, nothing. In general the staff wasn't very attentive this time. There were two of us and a table with extended family, who arrived 30 minutes AFTER us, had their food 15 minutes BEFORE us. We had to wait over 60 minutes for 2 pizzas, which is not possible. Were only put off when asked.

My friend and I had reserved a table for 3pm this afternoon. We were escorted to the table and given the menu. After that nothing happened for 20 minutes. It wasn't until we asked a waiter if we could order that someone finally came to us after other guests who arrived later had been served. We placed our order and again it took some time for the drinks to arrive. There's no sign of our food anywhere near us. Then our bruscetta came at some point, after which nothing happened for ages. When asked several times, the only answer was that there was a lot going on. Strange that other guests who came after us got their food before us. After more than 1.5 hours our pizzas arrived... unfortunately not as ordered. No double cheese and 6 pieces of pepper, which was actually part of the pizza. And unfortunately also a very wide, dry edge. And despite me complaining that there was no double cheese on it, we were charged for it. Even the coffee on the house never arrived. It's a shame it turned out that way. We won't go there again for now.

Worst delivery service. It's just disappointing. The delivery time is stated to be 60 minutes, but in reality it takes 2 hours and the pizza is cold and poorly topped.

Pizza was in the shape of an egg but that was the only thing that wasn't very good. Otherwise the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is very nice. There is one more thing that I have to notice: the internet connection is a disaster even though you are sitting at the window

Delivery exactly as ordered, but that was the only good thing! Pizza tasted as good as it looked, it wasn't even lukewarm! The tiramisu was faulty because cream was incorrectly used instead of mascarpone. Furthermore, the dish was very runny/watery/tasteless. I'm used to much better from L'Osteria in Kamen and on Sylt!

I was really looking forward to my pizza at L’Osteria – after all, these things are so huge that you almost need a building license to serve them. But what did I get? A pizza that looked as if the pizza maker had had a sudden crisis in the middle of work and simply stopped. One half was lovingly decorated with toppings, the other was a dreary, bare desert of dough. Maybe a new concept? “DIY pizza – top the rest yourself!” For the price, I would have at least expected that the missing toppings would be served on a separate plate. Or that a waiter with a sad look in his eyes whispers an apology to me. Instead, just shrug your shoulders. Maybe they simply work according to the motto “Less is more” - it's a shame that the bill didn't even come in half! Conclusion: If you've always wanted to know what an unfinished work of art feels like on your tongue, you've come to the right place. Everyone else should have an emergency pack of salami with them!

The pizza was great, but my children's dessert - Crema di fragola was liquid, I don't know how it works, you could have drunk it with a straw and the espresso was almost cold when we were served it. We are used to better things from the L’osteria in Bochum in Ruhrpark. Too bad! But the waiter was super friendly, nice and accommodating.

Price performance is great but unfortunately the music was once again much too loud so it was difficult to have a conversation. After only 60 minutes we left annoyed. Too bad

Unfortunately we were disappointed. I went there with my family, but the pizzas were already cold when they were served. I noticed another problem when I was on the way to the toilet: the drinks we ordered - two Cokes, a Fanta and a beer - were still sitting untouched at the counter. When I came back after using the restroom, they still hadn't been served. This shows that the service leaves something to be desired, not only when it comes to food but also when it comes to drinks. Unfortunately for me there are only minus points for this store.

Wir wurden von Mo bedient und waren mit ihm auch sehr zufrieden. Wir sind zum Abendessen dort hin gegangen und wurden direkt zum Platz geführt. Haben dann auch schnell unser Essen bekommen und es war sehr lecker. Kann ich nur empfehlen
