We love it here and are there once a week! Israeli cuisine is really well presented here. Of course there are little things to complain about here and there, but it's always a pleasure to enjoy the great food

It tasted very good! Fallen apple could taste a little better. You should try homemade lemonade with turmeric and ginger!

For just under 30 euros we had a great dinner. The people were super nice and the food was great. Was our second visit!

Another restaurant at this location would be great. Meat, salad, everything below average. fries as a side dish. conceptually completely illogical. And then order at the counter instead of service.

The food was fine, especially the soja based shawarma, though otherwise not super special. The problem was that I found a bug at the bottom (so well inside) of my pita. When I told the staff they just said 'oh, ok' and then continued on. No apology, no acknowledgement, no other reaction. That may be even worse than the bug itself.

Very friendly and fast service, very interesting, extensive menu and fair prices. However, the pitas we ordered weren't great; there was too much meat and too much sauce. The overall composition wasn't right, the pickled vegetables didn't come through in terms of taste.

Nish Nush in Cologne offers an outstanding experience for lovers of authentic Israeli cuisine.

We were here for lunch today (7/18/24). I found it a bit unusual that you have to order at the counter and pay directly. The meal was okay. My daughter had the Shakshuka Grandma’s Recipe. That was fantastic. I had the Haifas Street Shishlik, which was OK. Unfortunately it was too burnt and therefore had too much “roasted aroma”. The same with the Greenball Falaffel. These were also quite bitter because they had been fried for too long. The mint lemonade, on the other hand, was the final boss!!! Delicious. We would be happy to come back.

Tried Israeli cuisine for the first time and it was really delicious. Overall quite oily and heavy but still tasty. Unfortunately, you go in to order and then take out your own cutlery. But overall we liked it.

Pedí Roasted Eggplant de entrada y Teller Aviv de segundo. El segundo hubiese sido suficiente, pero me alegro de haber pedido la berenjena. Probablemente uno de los platos más deliciosos que he probado en mi vida. Venía con Tahini, Granada y piñones. Espectacular!

Delicious food, great team… always worth a visit.

I really like this place. It’s very tasty food that anyone can eat. They have a huge vegetarian selection . Staff is very friendly and the dish was very delicious. The only thing is not enough bread for this portion size. But the bread is fresh and very tasty . I had the Nish Nush with lamb meat and home-made iced tea. Iced tea, wolf, not that nice it was very tasteless but sometimes it happens The restaurant has a very modern design and it’s very cozy and the outside area is on one of the busiest streets of Cologne where many different restaurants are located and especially in the evening it’s very beautiful . In conclusion a nice place with very safe food where you can go with anyone.

I have mixed feelings about Nish Nush. I had shawarma with hummus and the Jerusalem salad. The hummous was super tasty, as was the salad, but I was a bit surprised that it was a normal salad with tomatoes and pine nuts. Other than the bread, I couldn't really relate this to Israeli cuisine. The shawarma was tasty but quite greasy. Unfortunately, the food was heavy on my stomach. I found the stay in the restaurant okay. We sat outside. We informed our table neighbors that they had to order inside. Unfortunately, there is no clear indication at the table. Overall, I found the prices too expensive for virtually no service. I ordered again with friends a few weeks later. Again the shawarma with hummus, with fries. The fries arrived as a soggy lump. Yes, it's a challenge to deliver fries, but no effort was made to bring them to the customer as crisp as possible. Unfortunately I had to throw away the fries. Food was again really heavy on my stomach. Overall, somehow tasty but also clearly a lot of room for improvement....

I spontaneously remembered as I was passing by that I hadn't had shakshuka in a long time — and we also tried the falafel and hummus. Everything was absolutely delicious and highly recommended.

I've been there several times now and I think it's really great. Hummus very tasty, portions are very large, fries also good… cauliflower…. Mint lemonade… everything was perfect. Price very very humane. If you're not stupid and open your eyes, you'll immediately notice that you have to order at the counter... I also think it's great that there is a small Israeli oasis in Cologne, the shop is much better than the Arab alternatives.

We visited Nish Nush one evening and were able to get a table when the house was full. The gentleman at the counter pointed out to us that orders should only be placed at the counter. The table we were given was very small and unfortunately not particularly clean. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was quite nice, but not overwhelming. It was well attended, which surprised us a bit in retrospect. The service was overall okay, but without any special attention. There were two men in service who didn't look at us and didn't talk to us or ask if everything was okay. Two ladies in service were wearing extremely skimpy shorts, but only one of them was friendly and gave us a smile. No one in service asked us if the food was tasty or if we were satisfied, which was very unusual. The food was served relatively quickly, but the quality left a lot to be desired. The fries were burnt and drowned in oil. The hummus was bitter and tasted excessively like sesame. The other dips and sauces were unremarkable in taste and some were really inedible. One of the sauces with turmeric was completely tasteless, and another sauce was basically just oil and some greens, which wasn't a highlight. The chicken shawarma was extremely greasy, and the vegan shawarma was also drenched in oil. Overall, the food was difficult to digest and left us with an unpleasant feeling in our stomachs. There was a lack of fresh vegetables that could have balanced out the heaviness of the dishes. Another unusual detail was that you had to pay for the food when you ordered it. This left no opportunity to tailor the tip to the service or quality of the food, which we found very unusual. The Israeli beer we tried wasn't recommended either - a Kölsch would have been a better choice. We were looking forward to authentic Israeli street food but were disappointed. The food was expensive and the taste was not convincing. The cleanliness of the toilet also left something to be desired. There is no risk of a repeat for us

Eat: It wasn't bad but disappointing. The fries were good but uninspired. Plus meat that was well seasoned. 5 sauces a small bowl of salad and packaged warm bread. It was well prepared but the food wasn't a highlight and for €19 I would have expected more. The dish was simply 30-40% too expensive for what you got. Service: As a customer, you are not informed that you have to order your food at the cash register and that the waiters do not point this out to you. During the visit, several customers waited in vain until they went to the checkout and asked why no one came to the table or why this wasn't pointed out. The place actually invites you to linger if you don't always have to pay for everything straight away and go to the checkout every time. Ambiance: Actually a nice place if the music wasn't too loud.

I visited this restaurant for the first time last week and was disappointed with the food but even more so with the service. The concept doesn't seem to include any service because you come in and can find your own seat and then browse the menu. Then you have to get up again and go to the checkout front to order and pay directly. You are then served a mediocre canteen-style meal. Price performance doesn't work for me here!

We were here for the first time and absolutely loved it. The food was great and tasty, the service was very friendly and super helpful (we were there with 2 small children). It's all a bit tight, but you get along. We'd love to come back.

We ate very well and had a great evening there! The dishes taste great, with lots of fresh vegetables and are delicately spiced with oriental flavors. The pitas always come out of the oven warm and also taste wonderful. We'll definitely be back!!

The food is great every time we are here and the staff is very nice. If the shop were a little bigger, there would be room for more people, but it is what it is and it's nice to sit outside in the summer.

Very tasty and authentic cuisine, plus fast and attentive service. The portions are more than sufficient. Only the seating options are sometimes not very comfortable. But overall recommended!

Cool shop, delicious food but the shop is quite narrow and that makes it a bit hectic.

The food is spectacular, everything is very good and with very filling dishes. Quality price is very good. The drinks are a little expensive but the food is great. The super bowl is delicious and comes with a lot of food. The place is a little small, the only drawback is that the tables are very close together, but otherwise everything is very good.

I liked the place and the food even more! The only bad thing is that you have to order at the bar. For dinner I ordered a pomegranate ice tea, a plate of hummus to share, very good by the way, and a delicious super bowl. The quality-price ratio is very good and the quantity is also considerable.

Kleiner, enger (gemütlicher?) Laden mit israelischem Fastfood. Das Essen und die Getränke werden an der Theke bestellt und bezahlt. Schnelle Lieferung zum Tisch. Sehr, sehr gut besucht. Das Essen ok, nichts Überragendes, viel vegetarisch, viel vegan.

Das Essen ist super. Abzug beim Service und Ambiente, da man selbst an der Theke bestellen muss, wenn man was möchte. Das macht es für mich ungemütlich und störend.

Das Essen ist hervorragend, wenn auch ziemlich teuer für einen Imbiss mit Selbstbedienung (Bestellung muss man vorne machen, Besteck nimmt man selbst, Essen wird gebracht). Leider wird wenig geheizt, sodass wir beim Essen unsere dicken Winterjacken anlassen mussten.

We tried many different dishes. All were tasty and my favorite was mama fries. Falafel was a bit overcooked. Service could be better. Cocktails were good, would recommend moscow mule.

Portion and prices were the best we found in cologne. The lemonade was also great. The only place we went to in cologne that had these portion sizes and didn’t make us pay for still water. Me and my girlfriend couldn’t finish a single meal. ( the traditional one with chicken) Got to try Israeli beer. definitely recommend. The light kept flickering above our table but just thought that was funny cause it only did it when you tapped the metal bar next to your seat. The guy who served us was super nice too. Nice toilets too.

Das Nish Nush ist eine Mischung aus einem Club und einem gehobenen Imbiss bzw. Streetfood-Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist sehr nett, das Publikum überwiegend jung und mag laute Musik. Das Essen ist überwiegend sehr lecker - das gilt für das Brot, das Taboule, Shawarma oder Fritten. Der Eistee Granatapel wird offenbar mit Sirup gemacht - mit Granatapfelsaft (frisch oder auch konserviert) wäre er für mich noch leckerer. Unterm Strich eine klare Empfehlung!

Einfach wundervoll. Das Essen schmeckt himmlisch, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und die Lage ist auch perfekt. War schon mehrfach dort und komme gerne wieder. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr spannender und unglaublich leckerer Ort. Das Konzept mit an der Theke bestellen ist okay, die Menschen dort unglaublich freundlich. Leider war es etwas zugig.

Das Essen war an sich gut nur etwas zu fettig und paar Gewürze haben uns nicht geschmeckt. Das ist aber Geschmacksache.

Das Essen war fantastisch und ist nur weiterzuempfehlen! Die Portionen und Getränke sind sehr groß und lecker und jeden Cent wert!

Neutrale Begrüßung, wir wurden aufgefordert, an den Tresen zu kommen, um dort zu bestellen und zu bezahlen - dort unterbrachen andere Gäste meinen Bezahlvorgang, sie bezahlten allerdings NACH ihrem Essen. Speisekarte deckte sich nicht mit Online-Menükarte via QR-Code, dort waren anderer/weitere Gerichte angeboten, allerdings ohne Preis. Jerusalem Market Salad war eher Wanne-Eickel-Mensa-Teller: Die Mehrzahl der auf den Tisch lediglich abgestellten Gerichte war stillos, uninspiriert, fad, gewürzlos, Gemüse schien vom Discounter, teilweise ungesalzen. Suppe enthielt wahrscheinlich Discounter-Erbspüree, mit 2 mm Olivenöl-Topping. Brötchen waren lieblos-geschmacklos und schienen reich an Konservierungsstoffen. Obgleich Angestellte alle paar Minuten an unserem Mini-Tisch vorbeischrammten, fragte keiner nach unserer Meinung zum Essen. Außer des Zahlvorgangs gab es keine Kommunikation mit den Angestellten. Lichtblick: Die kaum zu erkennenden Cocktails auf dem Cover der Speisekarte waren top, inspiriert, einzigartig, stilvoll kredenzt und absolut die Anreise wert!

Sehr sympathisches kleines Streetfoodrestaurant. An einem Freitag muss man Zeit mitbringen um einen Tisch zu bekommen, denn reservieren kann man leider nicht. Aber wir würden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Essen kam super schnell und wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend!

Lecker war es, aber das Lamm war schon ein bisschen zu kühl. Man bestellt und zahlt selber autark, aber fühlt sich vom Service betreut. Gerne wieder.

Jedzenie dość tłuste, frytki różnie. Trzy różne porcje jedne przesolone, warzywa świeże, dipy świetne. Lemoniady próbuja ratować sytuację. Mięso ociekające tłuszczem. Kable od lamp pełna kurzu, ozdoby na półkach pelne kurzu. Muszki owocówki psują ogólne pierwsze pozytywne wrażenie. Jak na pierwszy raz miejsce pozytywnie nie zaskoczyło.

Musste nach erneutem Besuch meine frühere 5-Sterne-Bewertung ändern. Das Essen ist nur noch durchschnittlich. Service ist nicht mehr aufmerksam. Habe 1 (!!!) Stunde auf mein Essen vor Ort gewartet. Ich glaube es war mein letzter Besuch dort. Schade

Ich fands großartig. Das Konzept mit bestellen und direkt bezahlen an der Kasse ist zwar ungewohnt, macht aber absolut Sinn! Das Essen war mega! Das Beste Hummus was ich je in Europa hatte. Genauso gut wie im Arabischen Raum.

Schlimme Erfahrung! Wollten uns die Karte anschauen und wurden nicht mehr aus dem Laden gelassen, weil wir angeblich auf Toilette waren (was wir nicht waren). Der Besitzer stellte sich vor die Tür und wollte uns nicht mehr aus dem Laden lassen weil er 4€ für die Toilette wollte, welche wir nicht mal benutzt hatten. Die Karte hatte uns nicht zugesagt weshalb wir wieder gehen wollten. Er drohte uns mit Polizei und als ich weinte ließ er uns gehe! Werde dort nie wieder hingehe!

Alles in allem ein super nettes kleines Restaurant, mit freundlichem Personal und dazu noch unglaublich leckeres Essen… Ich komme sehr gerne hier hin.

Wir wollten Mal was anderes probieren und sind im Nish Nush gelandet. Es war sehr gut besucht, bekamen aber sofort ein Tisch für zwei. Es war ein interessantes Konzept ( an der Theke bestellen und gleich bezahlen). Das Essen war lecker, jedoch ziemlich teuer für Selbstbedienung. Die Bedienung war nett , freundlich .

It was a very good restaurant. The food was exceptionally delicious, the restaurant's ambiance was very nice, and there were heaters and blankets available outside the tables. The staff were very friendly and polite. The sauces served with the dishes were very enticing. The drinks were very appealing and enjoyable. The prices of the dishes were also good and reasonable. Overall, it was a very good restaurant.

Wieso so unfassbar unfreundlich?! Die Kellnerin war unfreundlich bis zum geht nicht mehr. Unsere Teller wurden während des essens weg geräumt, da ein die nächsten Gäste unseren Platz haben sollten. Uns wurde noch entnervt angeboten wir könnten ja uns wo anders hinsetzen. Wir sind dann gegangen, da die Kellnerin von ihrem Gesichtsausdruck zu urteilen her, eh keine Lust auf Gäste hatte. Hab ich so auch noch nie erlebt, aber gut wenn man lieber für die Mülltonne als für seine Gäste kocht.

Essen ganz lecker und schön angerichtet und kam super schnell. Aber unglaublich laut und voll und das Bestellen an der Kasse macht es nicht unbedingt gemütlicher für die Gäste, die einen Platz ergattert haben. Bedienungen waren leider auch nur ganz oberflächlich freundlich und leicht genervt.

We were looking for dinner in the Belgium Quarters in Cologne (Koln) and found Nish Nush. So glad we did as the food was fantastic. Generous serves and welcoming service. Nice, relaxing atmosphere and highly recommend.
