Very centrally located, exceptionally friendly and accommodating. And the food: a dream! We had many small dishes – vegetarian, with meat and fish. Everything was a culinary delight. Thank you so much! We'll gladly come again!

I stumbled upon this place while traveling in Germany! The spicy soup was so appetizing, and the shumai was incredibly fragrant! I especially loved the texture of the noodles. Everything else was great too! 🥳

We went to Ni’s wanting to try something different in the Mitte neighborhood but it was a completely mid experience. The food wasn’t great and left with much more to be desired. Starting with the cucumber salad, which had to be the saddest rendition of a cucumber salad I’ve ever had. No chili or any spice, simply some sad cucumbers soaked in rice vinegar with nothing more. We had the Hainan chicken and rice, which was decent, but nothing to call home about. Then the various dumplings we ordered were also quite meh. The dough was tough and thick. The meat (chicken and beef) were bland and fillings were tough. The wontons were paired with bland garnishes and same tough dough. The staff and team were fine. The ambiance was okay but nothing too special. Ultimately it was a miss and we won’t be returning.

Excellent restaurant, with flavors just like you'd find in China! I especially recommend the Xiaolong Bao; I haven't had any this good in ages ☺️ It's like being in Taiwan!

The food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The ingredients tasted so fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. Each bite was rich, balanced, and satisfying — even better than we expected. It was truly a delightful dining experience just because of how wonderful the food was.

Absolutely delicious! I had hand-ladled pasta with peanut sauce and filled chocolate buns for dessert. Definitely outstanding. I'd especially like to commend the friendly and attentive staff. Charging my phone was no problem. I was happy to leave a generous tip!

The pork belly was truly delicious and is a true Chinese specialty. Unfortunately, the smoked fish could be improved a bit; they need to combine local fish (salmon, for example) with Asian cooking techniques to better suit the tastes of European and Asian customers. But overall, it was amazing! I'll definitely be back.

We LOVED this restaurant! The atmosphere and decorations were everything. It felt cozy and inviting at the same time. The food was exquisite. I would recommend getting several smaller things to share as you can taste multiple dishes this way 🤗

Best Asian Restaurant in Berlin. I have tried quite a lot of Asian restaurants in Berlin but this one tops my list with its taste, quality, service and overall vibe of the place. Highly recommended.

I went to Ni's Restaurant near Hackescher Markt and tried the classic hand-pulled noodles in chili sauce. The taste was truly delicious—fresh vegetables, not too greasy, and the noodles had a great texture. The only downside: there was far too much garlic for my taste, almost two cloves crushed on top. You can still smell it the next day. Next time, I would definitely order less garlic. Overall, though, I highly recommend it, especially if you're craving good hand-pulled noodles.

tasty shanghai style Tangbao and wontan soup. the straw makes it really authentic and even a bit ritual. although the portion is a bit less than expected, yet the porcelain and the chopsticks are eligant and aesthetically pleasurable

i usually dont write reviews but i want to let everyone know, this is one of the best chinese restaurant me and my boyfriend have been to, the service was great, everybody was friendly and i very much had a food coma 🤣 but in a positive way, i fully recommend to visit this restaurant!

My wife and I ordered takeout for about 40 euros. The portion was so small that I couldn't even finish it by myself. The wontons were okay, but the noodles were not tasty and were rather hard. The xiao long bao were cold and had too much soup and not much meat. Very disappointed.

I sincerely think that if after 20 minutes of waiting without any service on a monday night at 8:30 pm you are not even offered to order there is a profound problem in the way you organise your restaurant. Even despite trying to catch the eye of the server that came out to serve the tables seated outside we were not able to catch their attention. Truly a pity and I do not want to imagine their service on a packed friday / saturday night around 7 pm.

Nice quality food and service. We liked trying multiple dishes. Dishes were larger than expected.

I had 0 service. I had to standup to call the waiter, 1 meal out of 3 came much later after the other 2 and after we waved to the waiter (the rest had finished eating). The drinks never came, I found them sitting in the bar waiting to be served. We had to wait a lot to pay because the people in charge were doing other tasks and couldn’t serve the long queue to pay.

I love the food at Ni's and keep coming back. Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. It always takes forever for the menu to arrive, and after the food was finally served, I was practically forgotten. Unfortunately, once the table was cleared, there was no real way to reorder dessert or drinks. The servers would clear away at some point and disappear. This also makes paying extremely slow.

Super delicious, but even better when the pak choi leaves are separate. It's really annoying to eat. But otherwise, it would be 5 stars.

Very authentic Chinese flavor! Chatting with the owner revealed he was a former chef. The oil-splashed noodles are authentic, but if you're not used to spicy or oily food, please let the kitchen know in advance. I'm from Shanghai, and the soup dumplings are essentially Shanghainese. For Chinese people living in Germany, being able to enjoy this kind of Chinese food is a real treat, and the prices are a bit cheaper than Chinese food in Bavaria.

The General Chickem is super delicious!

It was my first time there; the decor was modern and stylish, with some Chinese influences. The restrooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the food was served quickly. The Sichuan dishes were pleasantly spicy. There weren't many customers when I was there.

The bao buns were quite tasty. The beef skewer wasn't spectacular. The fried rice was rather poor and carelessly prepared. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't delicious. The waitress was very polite, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Nevertheless, we won't be back.

First visit and very disappointing. The Peking duck, grilled squid, and xiaolongbao weren't as good as expected and not worth the money. The female server was friendly, but the male employee was extremely rude – not a word while serving, and when clearing away, just an annoyed "Ready?" This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. Never again.

Love this place. I was very happy with many vegetarian options to try from. Their chili oil is amazing. And when I complimented them, they gave me some to take away. I was very surprised and happy.

Excellent food and super authentic as I am from that region of China and talked to the owner Mr Ni at the restaurant. It was a busy Friday night, all tables outside were taken . We sat at a square table inside and it is beautiful just like in China. All dishes were served as they were cooked, so if you expect Votspeise and Hauptspeise in that order, perhaps you need to specify (appetizers and main) . Portions were not big but flavors were excellent. Highly recommend steamed halibut, Yangzhou fried rice, ma Po tofu. If you are into Shanghainese specialties: thousand year egg with tofu, smoked fish and sautéed prawns (油爆虾）

I've been here many times over the past two years and have almost always had the one-meter noodles. However, they don't taste as good as they used to. There's less sauce and it's basically just oil.

Food is great! Ribs delicious, the renmian amazing. But for some reason the Schorle drink is expensive and tiny! How can that be! Is apple and sparkling water…

Just ordered a delivery. Very little portion. For 10€ I get 3 baby calamaris. I‘m really disappointed.

Great service, great food, great prices If you are hungry and don't know what to get, I recommend the twin menu. They also let us expand it to 3 people. Everything was delicious and came out fast, we were very full at the end.

It's always YES! A huge, delicious selection, super friendly staff, fast food, and somehow there's always space or you don't have to wait long.

The ambiance was very pleasant, and the food was beautifully presented. Unfortunately, there are no pictures on the menu to give you an idea of what the dishes look like. However, the service was very attentive and provided us with helpful information when we had questions about the dishes. The dishes and drinks were delicious and exceeded our expectations. We had the cucumber salad, 1-meter noodles, Hainanese chicken, and the xiao long bao. I will definitely come back and try the other dishes.

I went there with a friend, and we had the one-meter noodles with chili and oil, as well as the chestnuts with asparagus as a starter. The food arrived very quickly and was more than filling and delicious. We'll be back!

This is one of my FAVORITE restaurant in Berlin. Every time when I'm in Berlin, I run to this restaurant to eat Re gan mian and jajangmian. No word to say, just try it!! The design is unique and specifically the workers are super friendly😉👍🏻

We ordered soup and various appetizers. We found the flavor bland. The dumplings were only lukewarm. You can choose various ingredients for the chicken soup (e.g., chicken, fish, beef, pork, etc.). We didn't understand why they didn't serve a pure beef or fish soup. The restaurant was cold. Our menus were dirty. We found the service poor. We received neither a friendly greeting nor a friendly farewell. The man who took our order said nothing and then sneezed on us without apologizing. We didn't think the value for money was appropriate and won't be coming back.

We came across Ni's restaurant by chance and it was a great choice to try it. The food was delicious and there was not a crumb left. I highly recommend it. Our visit was on 13th June 2025

We ordered the two people set menu - absolutely amazing!!! The food was absolutely delicious. It was nice to try things we were familiar with and also new items like the soup dumpling, so delicious! The service was brilliant. Good value for money for essentially an 8 course sharing menu, €22 each! Highly recommend

Be sure to try the non-alcoholic Coco Lychee drink. The food is always super, super delicious. The ribs are a dream, and the steamed broccoli in oyster sauce is always a MUST-try with every order.

Very nice and characteristic restaurant, with medium/low prices but excellent quality of food. Abundant portions and above all very stuffed just like we like them :) I recommend it because even my friend Gaia who never eats Chinese approved the Bao with meat, go there everyone!!!! super gang

We were very disappointed with our diner at this restaurant. First of all I think that the quality:price and quantity:price ratio was really poor. This Mango salad we ordered was not tasty at all and the pieces of raw vegetable were cut in such big pieces it was very low effort. We left feeling hungry even if we paid 50€. Would not recommend, I am also quite surprised to see so many 5 star reviews. The service was okay.
