Very nice little authentic restaurant. Very tasty food. Fantastic atmosphere and cuisine. Very nice and attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was very good and the prices afordable. The music is ambient and nice and the waitress Mimi made an amazing job. Super sweet and always with a smile.

Lots going on at lunchtime. The braised beef was good. Vegetables are great for me (still crunchy), meat unfortunately a bit fibrous. Service very friendly and quick. Portion is enough.

Unfortunately, the broth in the soup was bland and not flavorful. The duck and noodles were good, but that’s only part of the dish.

Food poisoning after visiting a restaurant – Absolutely not recommended I had a soup at the restaurant that had the consistency of jelly, as well as shrimp with vegetables and rice. Shortly afterwards I suffered the worst food poisoning of my life and even had to go to the hospital. Absolutely not recommended – eating here is dangerous.

The ambience and service was good however food and flavors overall didn’t quite hit the mark (some good some only disappointing). Meter long noodles were good and the shrimps in wasabi sauce. the chicken was so dry - it was only fried chicken with no sauce or flavor otherwise - had to dip it in the chili oil of noodles. Although the chillis in the chicken were off the roof spicy. Also ordered the vegetable roll which was definitely not cooked well. Could taste that some filling is still cold inside while some of it was hot perhaps because it wasnt cooked at the right temperature. Not some place I’d want to give another go. They serve dishes as they get prepared so starters could come after main course which was kind of weird esp since the soup came after the noodles.

We had an awesome experience when traveling to Berlin. This place is in “Mitte” which makes it convenient while in town for only 1-2 days. No need to go out of the way for an experience. Atmosphere and service was awesome. While food was good while adjusted for the local / international taste, still very good in combination with the atmosphere.

The smaller dishes are very small and therefore overpriced, service is moderate, quality/taste is rather average.

The food was very fine. We ordered noodle soup with duck. Tastefully. Service very quick and nice. We'll be back when we come to Berlin again.

I had noodles with beef and xiaolongbao, the beef was tender and juicy. The amount is not too much, and also cheap, so you can try different things without having to worry not being able to finish them.

Almost €17 for a small portion of chicken with nuts (lazy chicken). Hand-pulled noodles and flavorless dim sum. There are much better Chinese bistros in Berlin, for example a little further north between Senefelder Platz and Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz

The Hainanese chicken rice is great with oil and onions, but I don’t know what’s wrong with the rice. It’s not very tasty. The braised beef noodles are a bit lighter, but still delicious. The fried noodles are delicious😋

Beautiful interior! Nice and friendly staff! I had Hainanese Chicken Rice. Chicken - 5/5 (stelkar!) Broth - 4/5 (good flavours but missing a lot of salt) Rice - 3/5 (The rice was rather bland and a disappointment. Not sure if they actually boil it in chicken broth. I don't think so.) Sauces - 4/5 (Two of the three sauces were pretty good but I hoped the Sriracha based one would have been something more interesting.) Overall: I will definitely go again to try some more dishes but the rice made me a bit sceptical if this will become a staple for me.

Amazing Chinese @ a great location 👌👌

My girlfriend and I were in the area and decided to have lunch at Ni’s. The decor of the restaurant is amazing and our waitress was very attentive. The food was great and authentic but of course there’s a chef’s individual touch. Highly recommended if you’re in the Hackesche Markt area. Personally I would travel for great food.

As the general trend in Berlin goes, dishes are fairly authentic (and no longer the "Chop Suey" type. I can recommend the eggplant and the xiaolongbao - although they came without the necessary chinese spoon (shaozi). Service was quick, smart and helpful.

We had a really nice evening in Ni's Restaurant. We came here with friends who have been here before and we were not disappointed. We liked the fact that you can order your own large dishes as well as small dishes to share so that you can feel like you're in China. If you want to share, it's best to grab one of the round tables at the back of the store, where you can rotate the middle part ;-) The location is of course super central between Oranienburger Straße and Hackescher Markt, but the shop still looks a bit inconspicuous from the outside. The food was simply delicious, we didn't have anything we didn't like. We ordered across the menu, from dumplings to green asparagus with water chestnuts to homemade meter noodles. The service was friendly and flexible, we were there on a Friday evening and there was enough space. We were four adults, two children, one dog and were treated very friendly. The prices are OK for the location. The food tastes super fresh, comes quickly and leaves nothing to be desired. The drinks could be a little cheaper, but we don't want to complain here.

I am also Shanghainese and know what the food in my homeland should taste like. But I am so impressed with the food and service here and always enjoy coming with my family and friends.

I've never seen such a disgusting restaurant. The garbage is moldy in the back. Everything is full of bacteria, people smoke in the kitchen. KEEP OFF!!!!! DON'T DO IT

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to take a photo. I ordered Hainanese chicken rice, fried noodles, hot and sour soup, and red bean double skin milk. Hainanese chicken rice and hot and sour soup were pretty good. The hot and sour soup is also recommended. The red bean double skin milk is relatively average and the quantity is small. Big bad review for oily noodles! Big bad review. I have never seen such thick oily noodles. They are sour, spicy, salty, hard to bite, and the portion is small. Too thick. A large piece of green vegetables with roots in the noodles. Please Chinese people don’t try oil noodles, don’t try it

I was here with friends to have some Chinese food. We ordered three different types of food. The service was friendly and quick. The food was okay but very pricey and nothing special. I know many other places which offer more tasty food for a much lower price. I personally didn't like the atmosphere because it is loud (main Street and lots of Tram passing) but that is my personal opinion.

The food was delicious but you won't get far here with a small wallet. To charge €10 for beef skewers that have minimal ingredients is really steep. Plus, the whole thing is really VERY unappetizing when fruit flies are constantly flying around your nose and you're just trying to avoid accidentally eating one. The whole thing also has something to do with hygiene.

We come here at least once a week to eat the one-meter noodles. It’s sooo yummy that it makes you addicted. Definitely recommend ✌️

Attracted by good reviews and the prospect of tasty xiao long bao in Berlin, we went to Ni's Restaurant. We were there at lunchtime and ordered two dishes from the lunch menu for €8.50 each. We liked them very much and everything was fresh. We also ordered xiao long baos from the normal menu, which we also found very good. The expensive drinks prices are a bit negative, a small cola (0.2l) costs €3.00. The wooden cooking containers could be cleaner in the corners. All in all a good restaurant especially at lunchtime for the cheap prices and the fresh food.

There were many small flying insects near our seats and flying into the food. The attitude of the waiter was also not good. After we entered the store, the people at the table behind us ordered before us and finished eating and left early. My companion and I each ordered a bowl of noodles, and my companion didn't wait for his noodles until I finished eating (about half an hour). I wanted to withdraw but they said no. The fried noodles looked ok but the noodles were very hard which was disappointing.

Unfortunately I only give the restaurant 3 stars. Unfortunately it doesn't live up to the hype. The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor is nice too. The crew was also very nice and now the big drawback. I ordered a Chicken Hainan with Char Siu. This is steamed chicken with grilled pork in char siu marinade. Both dishes were lukewarm (I was surprised why it arrived so quickly). Hainan is normally served with Pak Choi vegetables and cucumbers. Here it was with cucumbers and lettuce. Both types of meat tasted very artificial. I can hardly describe it...it was like having a ready-made marinade or ready-made seasoning. It's not authentic. I also politely told the staff that. I can slowly understand why many Asian users didn't give it a good rating. Unfortunately, some things about the food need to be improved.

Our food (rice dish with beef and pasta dish with pork) came to the table quickly, but the taste was rather average. The young service was present. We were in the restaurant with our baby and a chair was immediately brought out and we were offered a small bowl of pure rice for the child. Any rice that ended up on the floor was swept up with a smile. So we really can't complain about the service. However, what really has a lasting negative impact on the experience here is the lack of cleanliness. The card consists of completely tattered, dirty sheets of paper on a clipboard. A laminator really doesn't cost much and would be more than a good investment. But what's worse are the countless (fruit) flies that accompany you everywhere in the restaurant in large numbers. A little tip: put vinegar and detergent in small glasses overnight and at least a few flies would have fallen into the trap the next morning. Repeat the process until the desired result is achieved. It's really unbearable and extremely unsavory. We won't be coming back again for the time being and hope to give some impetus with our constructive criticism. Thanks!

This trendy Chinese spot is in a great location near Hackescher Markt and has a really modern and hip interior! There's lots of space inside and the owners have made a conscious effort to foster an artistic vibe which we liked a lot! There is a varied menu with a range of dish sizes (and prices), but we found the main page the best bet for what we were looking for which was of course some spicy Chinese noodles! I felt that the wide flat noodles here are really authentic with some high quality chili oil and leaning on a minimalist approach which is really good if you're looking for the real deal. It may not necessarily be your thing if you don't like the simplistic combination of chili oil and noodles, but that said there is plenty on the menu with more of a diverse mix of ingredients, and you can add-on different things. The customer service is generally very good for Berlin. The staff are all quite young and fit in with the trendy, cool style of the restaurant. They pleasingly offered free tap water which will be necessary (or some other drink) because the food is indeed pretty spicy! In summary, it's a stylish and authentic-leaning restaurant in a great location... Check it out!

Super friendly and helpful staff!

The speed was a bit slow. I originally wanted to eat an ice cream before I left, but after waiting for half an hour there was no movement, I couldn't wait any longer and left. The bathroom was not hygienic at all and it was terrible that flying insects were flying all over the toilet.

Amazing food! Great place to sit, nice vibes :) The only downside was that some of the staff was a little grumpy.

The taste was very bad. The service was also poor. There were lots of small insects flying around while we were eating. The pasta was inedible and the salmon was extremely salty. All the bowls were broken and almost hurt my fingers.

Avoid this place! The service is the worst I have ever experienced. We were already being looked at with annoyance when we entered the restaurant. No hello and no seat. When we asked if we could wait for a table outside, we rolled our eyes and said: yes, but it doesn't get in the way. Nice ;) Ultimately we were sent to a dirty table with the words: "there's something free on the left outside". After 5 minutes, two cards were thrown on the table. No please, no thank you. We got up and left. We can't say anything about the food, but this treatment by the service wasn't working at all!!

I found our waitress to be simply wonderful, friendly, funny and very helpful. Unfortunately, what I didn't like was the chipped dishes. Food was good, would love to come back.

That was better, we had "One Meter Noodle", which only tasted spicy, spring rolls didn't taste any better than go Asia TK ware, cha siu and chicken skewers weren't a highlight either. The highlight was the very attentive service, unfortunately nothing more.

Cute shop and very nice staff. Little waiting time in general and also when eating. The dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) were very tasty and so were the homemade noodles in chicken soup with roast duck (Tang Mian). The meat was good and the noodles too. However, the soup had almost no taste at all. Still very good :) Everything worked well with Neotaste!

The service staff is very bad and rude.

We truly enjoyed the food; however, the service and the behavior of the waitstaff were quite disappointing. Despite reading numerous positive reviews, our experience did not meet expectations. The staff seemed preoccupied with their phones and did not engage with us adequately. We waited a considerable amount of time for the receipt after finishing our meal. Regrettably, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Based on this visit, we would hesitate to return.

We are tourists and were guests at the restaurant yesterday. Unfortunately, we discovered that both the food and the service were far below our expectations. Our guess is that the good reviews are bought!!! And the bad reviews are real... The food was of poor quality and did not correspond in any way to the description on the menu. Not only was it tasteless, but some of it was served cold. Furthermore, the service was very unfriendly and inattentive. We had the impression that tourists are not appreciated in your restaurant. We had to wait a long time for our order and overall felt badly treated. We are very disappointed and hope that you take this feedback seriously and take measures to improve the quality of food and service so that tourists also feel welcome in your restaurant.

The food was only moderately good. However, the service was really bad. From start to finish there was no greeting and no thank you. They ask for 10% of the bill as a tip and were very cheeky when they received “only” €5. My three year old child and I ordered two dishes. Due to a misunderstanding, the waitress accepted three dishes. We ended up accepting and paying for it despite initially mentioning this as she started arguing about it rather than admitting the misunderstanding. I also find it completely unprofessional that she didn't ask, confirm or be surprised when she took the order. The worst thing was that the waitress was very rude and unfriendly.

Service was weak; Lazy hot chicken was very, very spicy, the beef was not very tender and unfortunately the sauce was not used. Unfortunately we weren't so satisfied - also price-performance...

We were really looking forward to a meal at Nies on a very hot summer day. The food was good and we ordered two main courses, a starter and drinks. Of course, due to the heat, we were extra thirsty and asked for tap water. Unfortunately we were charged one euro per glass for this. It is very disappointing that a restaurant would try to rip off their customers in this way. In the long term, this may not be worth it and it is a shame if people are not offered free water in the heat. This experience marred our visit to Nies and it is truly unfortunate that we were treated this way. Of course, I also feel sorry for the waitresses who have to deliver such news for their greedy boss.

Very bad, a noodle soup without any criteria, ingredients thrown in water without flavor or cooking or stew and not even correct, flat, tasteless and insulting since taking the entire plate with the appropriate explanation they have not had the deference of not charging or subtract something from the amount. Not recommended!!! Very expensive to not taste like anything. Rating 0.

Let’s talk about the food first. The hot and sour soup and red bean and coconut custard are quite good. The big soup dumplings are useless. I think Hainanese chicken rice is a more disappointing dish. The sauce for dipping is actually good, but the chicken is hot. When it came, the chicken skin was not chewy. The most important thing was that the rice that came with it was really dry. Although it came with soup, it really didn't feel very delicious. The service was the most disappointing aspect. First of all, there were no cutlery on the table. When the food was served, the waiter didn't give it to me, but gave it to me after I asked. The dishes were served in no order, with desserts being served first. Then two waiters came to me and asked me if I could listen to one of them speak, which turned out to be "I am a eunuch" and asked me what that meant. I personally think this is a very disrespectful behavior in a dining setting. The overall dining environment is relatively ordinary. The food quality can be said to be partly good and partly disappointing, but the service is really not good.

I've tried delivery before, but this was my first time visiting the store. The interior is cute and comfortable. I went at a late lunch hour, and it was nice that the store was large and had lots of seating. The staff was friendly and the food came out really quickly! I ordered 1m noodles, black bean noodles, xiao long bao, and fried eggplant. Everything is delicious! I usually eat salty food, but it's a bit salty haha. Strangely enough, the one I ate through delivery tasted better. Overall, everything is fine! I recommend eggplant! Next time I come, I'll try a different menu.

I was really looking forward to the food, I was especially curious about the noodles. I went first by myself to test the restaurant. Service was nice but it took forever. It took 15 minutes to order and then another 30 minutes until the food was served. The noodles didn't really convince me; there are many other trendy noodle specialists in Berlin who do a much better job. For me the noodles were too thick, twisted and hard in places, so not really elongated. But I found the sauce good and the spiciness pleasant. The next day I thought we'd give the place another chance for a team lunch. Service for a group of 5 people was very bad - rice came first, then thin noodles, the veggi roll, 1M noodles and my dish was still not there 30 minutes after the first dish was served. It wasn't easy to get attention from the service and my food only came when everyone else had already eaten. (The store wasn't particularly busy, already after lunchtime). So definitely not recommended for groups on their lunch break who have to get back to their appointments on time or who would like to eat together. But what is really okay are the prices, an inexpensive solution for the lunch break.

Very good food and great service I came here by chance and it was the right choice. The menu has a lot to offer, from homemade noodles to dumplings to steamed dumplings, everything is there. I'll definitely try out the rest of the menu later.

The selection of dishes is large: from small and big dishes to the great pasta dishes. Everything tastes great. The Regan Mian with peanut sauce is always very tasty and well seasoned. The sweet and sour pickled cucumbers and the sweet ribs are also recommended. The staff is very friendly.

Unfortunately very disappointed. Unfortunately the 1 meter long noodle wasn't 1 meter long, there were two individual ones. They had the consistency of rubber and the sauce only tasted like cheap vinegar. The service was very bad (service person on the cell phone, we were only asked if everything was okay when paying and not once in between) and we were rudely asked to pay a tip. Very disgraceful!!! The walls of the restaurant were covered in scratches and stains and had been poorly painted over in a darker color. Comfortable is something else. Definitely not worth the hype!!!!

The waiters were very kind and responsive and helped us choose dishes. The food is Europeanized, very tasty:) Sweet and sour ribs, eggplant and pork soup - great ♥️

To be honest, it was just average. The rice of Hainanese chicken rice was very hard and choking, the saliva corn chicken was just average, the sweet and sour short ribs had a weird sauce, and the fried noodles were too salty and not tasty. Looks like India? The chef couldn't handle the chicken feathers cleanly, and there was no service at all. He just served the dishes, and no one came to ask about the taste. There is also an optional tip of 10%, 20% or 30% at checkout, which is quite ironic.

The ribs have no favorite, very disappointed. The tempeh doesn’t have the flavor of tempeh, and the spareribs don’t have the same flavor as the spareribs. I feel lonely after eating it in my mouth 😂

At the request of my group of friends, I went to eat at this restaurant. I found the menu very disappointing. Small dishes, are tapas dishes. That could have been mentioned somewhere. The price of the small dishes is very hear for what you get. I personally do not like the atmosphere. Too hip. Unfortunately. This restaurant is unfortunately not for me.
