I always come to Nimet and eat there because of the lack of alternatives. The food is averagely good - sometimes more, sometimes less. However, the staff does not seem to be satisfied with their task. Unfriendly, rude and in a bad mood every time you are there. Last time I left my money there.

Incredibly rude and unfriendly service/owner… E.g. While you are still eating, the table is cleared, which is probably an invitation to leave. As my predecessors have unfortunately commented here, such behavior will certainly not happen to guests who are considered “our own compatriots”.

Worst service. I've often noticed how the people who work there inexplicably harass customers. The meat often tastes too dry, at least not good. BUT best lentil soup and best flatbread.

I have never experienced such rude service. After the meal I wanted to pay as normal, but the man reacted unfriendly and irritable for no reason, just like he did to the woman before him. When I tried to make it clear to the man that I wanted to pay by card, he couldn't manage to set up the card reader and then insulted me because of course it didn't work. When I say I want to go outside to ask my friends for cash he yells at me. I have never experienced such a rude and unfriendly man in the catering industry. The man is about 50 short and fat and has a mustache.

I just ate kebab here and have done so a few times before. And I have to say, the kebab now tastes like garbage and is not edible. The service is unfriendly. Too bad. He wasn't bad before.

The food tastes good, and the portion sizes are satisfying. They claim the food is handmade, and the meat was not dry and easy to eat. The spice sauce, however, was not very spicy. The place is a bit cozy and noisy. They don't accept cards, but an ATM nearby makes it manageable. Overall, it was a good experience.

I've been to Nimet 1000 times and actually love the store. I just had a very bad experience there (04/28/24, 01:15 a.m.). I went in alone and completely sober because I actually wanted to take some lentil soup with me. The employee (mid-50s, mustache) simply ignored me and served every man who came into the store after me before me. With the first one I thought it was a mistake... but with the second one I realized - he doesn't want to sell me anything. Or at least not serve me while there are still men in the store who speak his language and also want to place orders. I asked out loud if I had done something wrong. But I continued to be ignored. Then, quite upset, I walked out of the store and went home. Of course I don't know what was going on... but I got the impression that as a woman I wasn't as welcome there as the Turkish-speaking male customers who came after me.

We ordered kebab with chicken and it was the worst meat I have ever eaten. The meat was very similar to separator meat, because the mass consisted of assembled pieces of meat and was not sliced ​​meat. I can't say anything about the veal, but I would advise you to just spend €1 or €2 more and buy a kebab from the Mangal Döner on the same street. I will never set foot in a place like this again.

Went there for the first time in the evening and was extremely hungry. We ordered two Turkish pizzas, he said “there are no more” then we said ok, two kebabs. Suddenly he got two Turkish pizza doughs from somewhere and we said what should be on them. We started eating right outside the door. The two doughs were ice cold and very old (that's probably why he said no at first. It was like eating raw dough. I've never had anything so disgusting from a kebab shop before and I love Turkish food so much. That was really the biggest disappointment of all They are still very very unfriendly I don't recommend this shop to ANYONE!!!!!! Don't risk it opposite is the lack of polio kebab and there are two other great kebab stalls on Chlodwigplatz everything is better than Grill really people I'm not writing here in a rage that was yesterday So I'm already calm but I don't want it to happen to anyone else. SO PEOPLE IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA THERE ARE 4-5 BETTER ALTERNATIVES, please believe me! Greetings from Cologne :)))

I definitely do not recommend it. It is a terrible place. The owner gave us very rude and smelly donuts. If we had eaten it, we would have been poisoned for sure. We left without eating it. Be careful.

Caution!!! I was there on the evening of February 26th, 2024 and ordered a chicken kebab and have been lying in bed with FOOD POISONING ever since, it didn't taste like anything and the meat was cold and not fresh!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! The store is unreasonable, €8 for food poisoning. Given the high prices, you can probably expect that you won't be poisoned after work!!!!

The otherwise very good reviews apparently don't apply to Carnival. During our visit there was mass processing. The kebab hardly had any vegetables or sauce, which made the meat stand out with its bland taste. Overall, the worst kebab I remember.

Update: Owners try to tune their review scores by sending a lawyer after all reviews that score too low. Very poor business practice and ethics! Your average Turkish food shop, but with incredibly rude service. For Cologne a stand-out. Food average, spinach role mostly pastry, barely any filling, though flavour is okay.

I have become a real NIMET/Bonnerstr. fan. I just love the always fresh, varied + healthy cuisine there! Daily special always something new; from braised chicken legs, veal goulash with delicious vegetables to vegetarian dishes etc., price always under 10, -, great!! I don't like cooking myself ;) The large selection of fresh salads is also delicious. Crispy flatbread is on top! Everything was spotlessly clean, the staff there were super accommodating. Parking is limited, but it's worth making a short no-parking stop to get food ;)

Das mit Abstand beste Döner Fleisch welches ich je gegessen! Man merkt, dass das Essen (inkl Döner) hier selbstgemacht wird. Neben dem Döner kann ich auch die täglich variierenden „Tagesgerichte“ empfehlen. Alles in allem: Der beste Döner überhaupt! Jederzeit wieder! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Old school Döner, Lecker ich wuürde mir mehr soßen wünwchen. Fleisch ist Lecker. Laden kann aber an der Aussendarstellung noch was machen von Aussen siwht das wie eine Bruchbude aus, renovierung Nötig.

Ich war schon in vielen Fast-Food-Läden, aber hier im Nimmetgril in der Bonnerstr. 18 ist es ganz anders. Sie lächeln ihren Kunden immer freundlich zu, außerdem ist es sauber und das Essen ist immer frisch und sehr lecker und einer der freundlichsten ist Ahmet Master. Ich empfehle euch.

Ehrliche türkische Küche zu einem preiswerten Preis. Abwechslungsreiches Mittagsmenu und immer frisches Fladenbrot sind garantiert. Eigentlich müsste ich 4 Sterne vergeben, aber dazu reicht es nicht, da es keine sanitären Einrichtungen für Kunden gibt.

Gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Bester Döner in der Südstadt mit hausgebackenem Sandwichbrot. Hab’s mal fotografisch festgehalten. Dieses Mal wurde es ein Köfte Sandwich mit Pommes und Wasser. Ja, bin öfter hier.

Bin seit Jahren Stammgast, meist zum Mitnehmen oder im Sommer draussen. Insbesondere bestelle ich oft die Tagesgerichte, die immer (!!!!) sehr lecker und das Gegenteil von Fastfood sind. Die Suppen sind auch toll. Das Fladenbrot ist das beste, was ich je gegessen habe. Für mich ist das wie Kuchen. Das Dürum mit Lamm ist auch lecker. Ich hatte noch nie ansatzweise Probleme mit den Mitarbeitern; zu mir waren immer alle freundlich. Gestern habe ich meine Jacke inklusive Schlüssel dort vergessen ... schön blöd von mir, aber es war heute alles da, und der Mitarbeiter hinter der Theke hat sich sichtbar gefreut, als ich die Sachen abgeholt habe. Belohnung kommt noch nach ...

Viel mehr kann man heutzutage von einem guten Mittagstisch zu preiswerten Konditionen nicht erwarten.

Häufig Unfreundlich, insbesondere der schlanke große Mann an der Theke war bereits mehrmals sehr unhöflich und respektlos. Er hat z. B. auch laut im Restaurant nicht-schöne türkische Sätze/Beleidigungen gesagt, (die ich der Güte wegen hier nicht nenne) als er mit seinen Kollegen gesprochen hat.

Für mich einer der besten Döner in Köln. Schlicht, schnell und echt lecker. Bei meiner letzten Bestellung hatte ich den Döner nach nicht mal 1 min in der Hand. Das Personal ist freundlich, und das Ambiente ganz schlicht. Es gibt auch sitze draußen. Direkt an der Bonnerstr. Kurz vorm Chlodwigplatz. Mit Bus /Bahn super zu erreichen. Guten!

Leckeres Essen und netter Service

Ich hatte einen Döner (Lammfleisch) und eine Pommes. Der Döner war wirklich hervorragend und die Pommes waren frisch und gut gewürzt. Es ist leider selten geworden Lamm für den Döner anzubieten, aber hier wird es ausgezeichnet gemacht.

Da sind wir mit meiner ganzen Familie immer wieder sehr gerne.

Essen wird lieblos serviert, trotz Tische und Stühle KEINE Toilette vorhanden. Ein No Go

Ich esse hier regelmäßig seit 15 Jahren und der schlanke Mann hinter der Theke ist ausnahmslos nett, höflich und großzügig. Das Essen ist auch unverändert top! Der etwas ältere ungepflegte Mann hat mich allerdings in 15 Jahren vielleicht ein Mal begrüßt und bevorzugt offensichtlich türkische Gäste. Beim letzten Mal hab ich gefragt ob ich mit Karte zahlen kann und er hat mich angeschnauzt. Beim vorletzten Mal hab ich einen Döner ohne Zwiebeln bestellt und er servierte mir einen mit Zwiebeln und war sichtlich genervt als ich seinen Fehler angesprochen habe. Ich habe jetzt schon von mehreren Bekannten Beschwerden über seine Art gehört die deswegen lieber zu Mangal oder Adana Et gehen, weil sie seine Unhöflichkeit nicht mehr ertragen können. Sehr schade wie eine einzige Person den Gesamteindruck eines Laden runterziehen kann.

Besser, viel besser als schräg gegenüber, nur ihr werdet langsam zu teuer, T-Pizza 7,50....

Wir sind extra hin..weil es hier laut einer Folge von Kitchen Impossible den besten Döner geben soll.. mhmm.. eigentlich war er so..wie man ihn an jeder Ecke bekommt.. da ist noch Luft nach oben..

6,50€ für einen Döner, bei welchem das Brot nur halb mit etwas Salat und Fleisch gefüllt war. Nicht genießbar, dazu noch überteuert; kein Eingehen auf Wünsche. Nie wieder!!

Das muss ich loswerden , Die Linsensuppe wie auch die Hähnchensupe schmecken nicht gut sonder sehr gut. Ich könnte mein Kopf in den Topf reinstecken super lecker 🙌👍 Und der Döner mit Lammfleisch ist auch in Köln einmalig es war reichlich an Fleisch drin nur mir persönlich war etwas zu wenig Salat drin dennoch ein super Döner

Hat uns nicht überzeugt. Hähnchendöner total fettig und labbrig, das Fleisch lag auf den Pommes, so dass diese dann auch leider sehr durchgeweicht waren. Und zudem auch noch recht teuer. Keine Empfehlung.

Grillteller bestellt, war nicht gut. Reis war vertrocknet, Fleisch hatte einen eigenartigen Geschmack. Das Hähnchenfleisch war ok. Tische, wurden nicht abgewischt, voller Krümel und Zucker. Und es gibt ein Klo, das ist aber nicht für Kunden.

Preis Leistung und Weiterentwicklung 0 von 0. Leider muss ich nach mehreren Jahren als südstadt Mädchen eine ehrliche und bewusste Bewertung abgeben Nehmt diese ernst. Schaut euch im Umfeld und der Konkurrenz um, der laden umbau hilft euch nicht zum Erfolg als "Fastfood" oder Döner Restaurant. Die Döner sind fad! Kein Verbesserung oder Raffinesse leider...keine schöne Belegung öde gute Produkte. Die Mädels machen nen tollen Job hinten aber vorne läuft einiges schief..! Ich bekomme Sodbrennen zum 3 mal und andere Probleme. Lamm ist kalt und durch und schmeckt leider nach ja, Lamm. Das huhn war drüsch, von der toxischen männlichen Bedienung mit keiner Begrüßung, ablehnender Haltung dreckigen tshirt und schlechter verteilung der Lebensmittel Güter mal abgesehen... Nein. Und ende. Es wird nicht besser. Versuch nr 12 in 3 Jahren sorry I'm out Nachbars!
