The food tastes great. The kebabs are top-notch, fresh, and always deliciously prepared. Prices have risen sharply, as in all restaurants. €2 for a flatbread is quite steep. Otherwise, in winter, it's always a great recommendation for a warm soup or delicious Turkish home-style cooking.

I've been a customer for years. Unfortunately, the quality and staff have deteriorated. I bought two lahmacun (without salad) for €4.50 each. I was very surprised. The salesperson later justified this by saying, "Do you even know how much meat costs these days?" Spoiler: Yes, I know! If it were meat, it would have been almost entirely covered in chili paste, with a hint of minced meat here and there. Never again!

I've been eating at Nimet for over 25 years. I'm always happy with the food; when I have guests, we always eat at Nimet. But the service, especially the man, is terrible. The employees used to be friendly, but now the man shouldn't have any contact with people. He's in a bad mood at all times of the day. If the food wasn't so good, I wouldn't go there anymore.

Unfortunately, the fries are really just reheated. They could simply give it more time to get fries instead of reheated potatoes.

Just a dry, sad mess. 🐔🪵 And then the "preparation" – if you can even call it that: The kebab was cobbled together so roughly and carelessly that it completely took away my appetite. The bread was completely soggy, almost mushy, because the sauce was simply poured on top like concrete. A layer of feta cheese on top – what is that supposed to be?! You first eat your way through a mess of sauce and cheese before you get to the sad meat. 😤🧀🌧️ Taste-wise? Disastrous. Absolutely nothing came together. No seasoning, no freshness, no quality. Just a mushy, tasteless mess. I seriously wonder how they sell something like that. 🤮🗑️ For me, that was the first and definitely the last time. Anyone seriously craving a good kebab should head straight across the street to Lukas Podolski Mangal—at least there you know what you're getting. Or just a little further on, there are two other shops that are worlds better than this snotty place.

It was a disgrace to charge an extra €2.50 for the sauce last night just because it came in a container. Whether it's on the kebab or you want it separately (same portion) is irrelevant. His argument: the small plastic containers cost €1.50 each and he was making a loss because of me and would only charge me €2.50. I have never experienced such rude service. After the meal I wanted to pay as normal, but the man reacted unfriendly and irritable for no reason, just like he did to the woman before him. When I tried to make it clear to the man that I wanted to pay by card, he couldn't manage to set up the card reader and then insulted me because of course it didn't work. When I say I want to go outside to ask my friends for cash he yells at me. I have never experienced such a rude and unfriendly man in the catering industry. The food tastes good, and the portion sizes are satisfying. They claim the food is handmade, and the meat was not dry and easy to eat. The spice sauce, however, was not very spicy. The place is a bit cozy and noisy. They don't accept cards, but an ATM nearby makes it manageable. Overall, it was a good experience.

I've been to Nimet 1000 times and actually love the store. I just had a very bad experience there (04/28/24, 01:15 a.m.). I went in alone and completely sober because I actually wanted to take some lentil soup with me. The employee (mid-50s, mustache) simply ignored me and served every man who came into the store after me before me. With the first one I thought it was a mistake... but with the second one I realized - he doesn't want to sell me anything. Or at least not serve me while there are still men in the store who speak his language and also want to place orders. I asked out loud if I had done something wrong. But I continued to be ignored. Then, quite upset, I walked out of the store and went home. Of course I don't know what was going on... but I got the impression that as a woman I wasn't as welcome there as the Turkish-speaking male customers who came after me.

We ordered kebab with chicken and it was the worst meat I have ever eaten. The meat was very similar to separator meat, because the mass consisted of assembled pieces of meat and was not sliced ​​meat. I definitely do not recommend it. It is a terrible place. The owner gave us very rude and smelly donuts. If we had eaten it, we would have been poisoned for sure. We left without eating it. Be careful.

I was there on the evening of February 26th, 2024 and ordered a chicken kebab and have been lying in bed with FOOD POISONING ever since, it didn't taste like anything and the meat was cold and not fresh!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! The store is unreasonable, €8 for food poisoning. Given the high prices, you can probably expect that you won't be poisoned after work!!!!

The otherwise very good reviews apparently don't apply to Carnival. During our visit there was mass processing. The kebab hardly had any vegetables or sauce, which made the meat stand out with its bland taste. Overall, the worst kebab I remember.

Your average Turkish food shop, but with incredibly rude service. For Cologne a stand-out. Food average, spinach role mostly pastry, barely any filling, though flavour is okay.

I have become a real NIMET/Bonnerstr. fan. I just love the always fresh, varied + healthy cuisine there! Daily special always something new; from braised chicken legs, veal goulash with delicious vegetables to vegetarian dishes etc., price always under 10, -, great!! I don't like cooking myself ;) The large selection of fresh salads is also delicious. Crispy flatbread is on top! Everything was spotlessly clean, the staff there were super accommodating. Parking is limited, but it's worth making a short no-parking stop to get food ;)
