The food was good so far. Although I would like a little more flexibility when it comes to customer requests. I think it is possible to modify court requirements or find another option.

Ordered by phone for delivery on Saturday evening. The food was there within 30 minutes. So now the food is really good again! Very tasty gyro meat. I was thrilled with the quick delivery and the quality of the dishes! The open pita was very tasty and the cheeseburger is also highly recommended!

My 'favorite Greek'. I still know the beginnings in the 80s, when Nico's parents still had the shop across the street. It's not just a simple chip shop, everything here, from the crispy fries to the meat to the salad, is simply delicious. And the delivery service is incredibly fast.

Food was very good. I can't understand why card payments aren't innate. That's why I had to come back again. Is standard and mandatory these days. If there is that, there are also 5 stars.

The food is good, but when it's full the whole thing becomes chaos. You get numbers that aren't important because people just ask everyone around for a telephone order without giving the number, then someone else speaks up and drops it after 15 minutes The fact that the finished food has been there all the time is unfortunately very uncoordinated, but the staff is generally quite nice and, when it's not full, they're very quick to help

Simple, cheap, clean, good new staff. It's all ok. Delivery possible from 10€. Unfortunately, the currywurst is cheap and no meat contains more water ingredients.

Hello dear people, today I ordered a sovlaki plate and a cevapcici plate, the meat was good, the fries were raw and not edible plus 2 gyros plates that were not ordered on the bill, sry after corona the quality has deteriorated extremely for the supposedly high prices so for now I won't be there anymore order

I can't rate the service or ambience, I just ordered online via Uber. Unfortunately we were disappointed, such a tiny portion for €16… taste ok, not outstanding.

We were always satisfied but the price/performance ratio no longer fits..... Fries Currywurst Mayo nothing wild but 8 tiny pieces of sausage and a few fries on a plate where you think you have a children's sausage and a children's plate. Sorry but I'm out of it, there are others who offer the same thing and you get more for your money.

Extremely delicious food, reasonable prices, very friendly staff. You can eat there, take away or have it delivered.

Family-run snack bar, clean and nice. Gyros plate was fresh and tasty, but the portion was manageable. The only thing that bothered me was that tzatziki came directly on the fries. I don't like cold fries. Tzatziki gladly extra. Tzatziki was very tasty.

Die Sauce von dem Jägerschnitzel ist sorry, schleimig und besteht fast nur aus dem "Einlegewasser" der Pilze, angedickt mit dunklen Mondamin 😝 Eine Frage: woraus ist euer Gyros gemacht? Das ist doch nicht aus Schweinenacken? Wir haben dort 1x Gyros bestellt und waren verwundert! Was ist das für ein Fleisch(zu 50% Hackfleisch?) Außerdem, wo ist der Drehspieß 🧐? Wenn ich Gyros bestelle, dann will ich auch Gyros, wie ich es gewohnt bin(dünne Schweinenacken- Scheiben aufeinander, knusprig am Drehspieß gegrillt) Daher ein No Go! Was ich gut finde ist, dass der Schnellimbiss, familien geführt wird. Es liegt zentral was die Kundschaft ausmacht. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend!

(6 years ago:) Very tasty, but relatively small portions compared to other Greeks. Update after 6 years: (change from 2 to 4 stars). Had dinner at Kawala today (January 21, 2024) with my family (6 people). This time the portions were completely sufficient and generous. It was also very tasty. We paid a total of 102 euros (including drinks) and were all full (5 adults, 1 child). The service was 1a. I very rarely eat Greek food, but I am loyal to the family business and was already a customer when the restaurant was diagonally opposite (the building was demolished years ago). Best regards to the Kawala team.

After a very long time, we wanted to order something for delivery from Kawalla Grill again. It was supposed to be two dishes and two fries, all via Uber Eats and with a tip of course. Ordering via the app, similar to Lieferando, works pretty well. After a while I got an overview that the food would be delivered in 30-40 minutes but in 90 minutes at the latest! OK. Unfortunately the order has not arrived now (160 minutes later). Unfortunately, the restaurant has now even suspended delivery via Uber Eats, so I can now neither get my money nor my order. Unfortunately, there was no notification of the delayed or unaccepted order. Just disappointing when you're hungry and don't get anything, but the money is gone. Uber Eats will now review the case and take action if necessary. It's a shame, that really annoys and disappoints me. In modern times, it is unfortunately necessary to react skillfully and skilfully...

I've eaten there so many times or picked it up and I have to say the gyros taste really good, so there was one day when it wasn't that tasty but it has improved a lot I think the price is okay there and you get a lot for your money

" Bring mal was vom Griechen mit " bekam ich gesagt. Die Rezensionen sagten bester Grieche, also hin. Ich weiß nicht wie die anderen Griechen in Marl sind, aber es schmeckt viel besser als bei fast allen Griechen in GE. Wenn mein Mann ( gelernter Koch ) sagt, das er noch nie bei einem Griechen oder einem Imbiss ein so gutes Lammkottlett bekommen hat, trotz 15 min Fahrzeit nach Hause, dann bekommt man von uns 100% Danke und ich werde wieder kommen

Griechisches Essen😋. In Marl für uns Anlaufnummer 1. Wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Die Portionen sind gut und frisch zubereitet. Es schmeckt einfach immer

Über die Jahre leider einfach nur schlechter geworden, der Gyros wird jetzt schon abgeschnitten ohne das jemand welchen bestellt hat und warm gehalten, so schmeckt dieser dann auch, pappig und total über würzt. Im Sommer solche Tomaten zu bekommen die nur geviertelt wurden....... DIE PORTIONSGRÖßE ist RIESIG, DESHALB SICHERLICH AUCH BELIEBT! Es gibt deutlich besseren Gyros in Marl, auch wenn dort nicht geliefert wird!

Bin ein wenig enttäuscht da die pommes nicht gewürzt waren und das schnitzel teilweise echt hart war am Rand.

Schade,das Essen war vor einigen Jahren , Qualität's mässig,deutlich besser .Essen reklamiert,da Fleisch nicht gar,Ersatz bekommen,wieder das Gleiche.Wir werden nach Jahren,dort nicht mehr bestellen.🥺

Wir haben ja schon öfter unser Essen dort abgeholt und es war immer sehr gut, diesmal haben wir mit unseren Kindern spontan dort gegessen. Wie immer sehr lecker, gute Portionen und super nette Bedienung. Wir waren garantiert nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Mir fehlt eine Tafel , wo ich die ganzen Menüs auf einen Blick lesen kann! Ich finde es nicht so toll mir erst einmal die Speisekarte durchlesen zumüssen um mir einen Überblick zuverschaffen ! Essen war gut!

Dort einzukehren ist immer verbunden mit guten Essen und einem Personal was stets nett und bemüht ist um jeden Kunden zufrieden zu stellen.

Beste Pizzeria. Geschmacklich noch nie Enttäuscht worden. Dank der langen Öffnungszeiten auch noch nie Verhungert 🙈🤭

Freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen... mehr braucht man nicht zu sagen.

Essen kam schnell und heiß bei relativ weiter Anfahrt. Gyros, Currywurst, Grill-Teller und weiteres echt super. Alles frisch. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen.

Auch bei einer Bratwurst mit Pommes kann man was falsch machen. Oder auch alles richtig: Geschmackvolle Bratwurst, gute Pommes in ausreichender Portionsgröße und hinreichend Ketchup ohne Plastikverpackung. Das ganze im Handumdrehen serviert, weil ich nicht viel Zeit hatte. Prima!
