An old, quaint, beautiful restaurant. Everything in Fanili's hands. Nice service, delicious food. No excessive price/performance ratio. Simply recommended!

The food was once again a 10/10 for all of us (5 people). Super friendly service with a very friendly aura “Little Insider 😅” If you want to eat really well for not a lot of money, you have to visit the Lindenhof. Tip: call beforehand and ask about capacity 😉

For us, the Lindenhof is the best restaurant in Marl and the surrounding area. The food is great, the atmosphere is appealing and the staff is super nice and friendly. We always look forward to our visit and have never been disappointed. Everyone we take there for the first time is also thrilled.

Were there early in the evening on Sunday. Four of us sat outside in the beer garden with our dog. For your information, dogs are not allowed inside. Unfortunately, the only negative thing outside was that the smokers were right in the middle and you got the smoke depending on where you sat. As a dog owner you could only sit outside and therefore have to tolerate it. The food itself was good, everyone ordered something different from No. 37 39 51 and 52 Swiss style schnitzel Medallions + fried potatoes Etc. The salad as a side dish was also ok All in all it was a good evening Nothing to complain about in terms of price for the food.

Honest, down-to-earth restaurant with fair prices. As a city dweller who returns to his birthplace of Marl every now and then, I really enjoy eating there. It's not fancy, it's not not hip. Good thing: Because it is fundamentally honest and good.

Very quaint restaurant, but very loud in terms of background noise. Food very tasty, good home cooking. Parking is rather difficult, no EC card payment, portions are at most sufficient for a good eater. Waiter very nice and accommodating...

We dined there on a Tuesday evening and were fortunately able to get a table without a reservation. The interior is like the house, very quaint. The food was super tasty. I had the “Swiss style” schnitzel and was completely satisfied. The staff was also very friendly and quick.

Two friends and I happened to end up in this very rustic restaurant. In the listed half-timbered house you will find a traditional and beautifully maintained dining room. The food is solid, the host is pleasantly entertaining, the service is top and you don't have to wait long for your food. The prices are very reasonable even for those on a budget and we will definitely come back. Thank you for the pleasant evening. If you would like to support local gastronomy, then I would be happy to recommend an evening here.

Always very nice staff and good food at a fair price

A very nice half-timbered restaurant, the staff is very friendly and the boss personally welcomes the guests and leads them to the table. The food was very good and plentiful. The prices were reasonable and you really enjoy paying the amount. The only drawback was that you can only pay with cash, and I was really lucky that I had enough euros with me.

Cozy Westphalian restaurant with delicious food. The Lindenhof, an old half-timbered house, has retained its rustic charm. It's narrow, low ceilings, and the atmosphere is a bit casual, but the family business pampers its guests with a variety of food and drinks. If you want to come here with several people, you should reserve in advance.

Der Lindenhof ist ein alteingesessener Gasthof in Marl. Und genau das was man sich beim Lesen dieses Satzes vorstellt bekommt man auch. Viele kommen hier auf ihre Kosten, für Vegetarier oder Veganer gibt es anderswo aber natürlich wesentlich mehr Angebote. Die Pfifferlinge waren sehr lecker, genauso die Bratkartoffeln. Das Haus ist urig und lädt einen ins letzte, ja vielleicht sogar vorletzte Jahrhundert ein. Der Service ist herzlich — auf ne Marler Art und Weise. Die Karte ist Recht übersichtlich, ihr findet sie in den Fotos zu dem Restaurant. Der Vorspeisensalat wird auf Nachfrage auch mit Essig und Öl serviert, und die Bratkartoffeln wenn gewollt ohne Speck.

Es war wieder einmal sehr lecker.

Alles einfach nur zu empfehlen. Macht weiter so.

Die Inhaber sind total freundlich Die Speisen sind gut und günstig im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants. Ambiente ist dem alten Haus geschuldet und passend. Klein und fein.

Wir waren lange nicht mehr da, doch wurden wir wiedererkannt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker dort. Im Dezember treffen wir uns wieder in Marl im Lindenhof. Was ich nicht aufbekam habe ich mitgenommen.

Super leckeres Essen zu moderaten Preisen, netter Service und das Ambiente schön wer Antiquariat zu schätzen weiß aber etwas was man nicht alle Tage hat. Klare Empfehlung, waren nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Hatten auf der Karte online vor unserem Besuch Forelle gesehen und diese quasi schon ausgesucht. Leider aber war die dann im Lokal nicht auf der Karte, schade. Also umentscheiden. Was bestellen ? Naja, das war dann auch lecker, vor allem heiß ( das kennt man ja schon gar nicht mehr ...) . Nettes kleines Lokal.

Das Essen schmeckt gut, durch das urige Fachwerk und die rustikal ausgestatteten Innenräume hat das Restaurant einen besonderen Charme. Nur der Chef scheint manchmal etwas gestresst und ist dann ziemlich kurz angebunden, hat dann kein Lächeln für seine Gäste übrig. Das ist aber auch das einzige kleine Manko. Ansonsten empfehlenswert!

Ich habe mich mit vielen lieben alten Freunden im Lindenhof getroffen. Wir saßen draußen bei dem ein oder anderen Getränk und sind sehr nett und freundlich bedient worden. Beim nächsten Treffen werden wir dort auch essen, denn das, was an den anderen Tischen serviert wurde sah toll aus...

Der spanische Topf war auf den Punkt genau richtig fertig und eine reine Gaumenfreude. Dasselbe gilt für die Pommes und der Salat schmeckte auch frisch. Der Service war freundlich aber nicht aufdringlich. Die Getränke passend gekühlt. Hier kommen wir sehr gerne wieder hin.

Sehr schönes Restaurant im Fachwerkhausstil. Der Inhaber arbeitet dort mit und ist sehr freundlich, unterhaltsam und aufmerksam. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr schön zum Unterhalten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
