Gemütliches Eck in Marl

I recommended the Lipperhof to my guests from Baden-Württemberg. I myself ate there with my mother when I was a child. Unfortunately, the meat was very dry. The pre-made schnitzels, contrary to what they claimed, were so bad that my father-in-law... It's shameful to treat customers like they're stupid and pretend they aren't pre-made schnitzels. A mixed grill was ordered, and in my opinion, a hamburger steak doesn't belong on it. I'm extremely disappointed because I recommended the Lipperhof to my family.

Today, six of us women went to the Lindenhof for a small Christmas party dinner, and it was my first time there. The restaurant is small and quaint; the seating is cozy, though a little cramped, in the old half-timbered house. The interior design suits the old building. The food was good and tasty and was served quickly. The service was also good, but I'm deducting one star because the young man calculated everything in his head when we paid. He certainly deserves full marks for that, but I would have preferred a printed bill with prices. Having to rely on his mental arithmetic and memory skills was a bit unprofessional!

I highly recommend this place to tourists; it's a great place.

We were guests at Izo's today. It was outstanding once again. The menu, offered in addition to Tuesday's schnitzel day, is perfectly curated. The quality of the food—soup, salad bar, and main course—deserves more than 5 Google stars. Respect and thanks to a fantastic crew, both in front of and behind the counter. Especially to the kitchen with Magic Mescha 👍. With his restaurant, Izo has created a haven of comfort during turbulent times. Respect and thanks to everyone involved.
