Definitely a visit, but only on weekends while the landlady is still in the mood. She makes her own food. I highly recommend the roulade and tongue, and the very cold beer.

A small local inn serving home-cooked German cuisine. Delicious food and friendly service. The decor hasn't changed since the 1980s, which adds to the unique atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Old DDR Inn - great food - simply great and delicious

Not recommended!!! Asparagus and egg flakes soup was lukewarm and oversalted, Ragout fin was cold, farmer's breakfast was burnt on both meals and once completely oversalted. We don't even want to talk about the 1.5 hour waiting time as the only eating guests. The good woman should retire rather than try to manage the kitchen on her own!!!

We were invited here, otherwise we wouldn't have found our way here. The inn is ideal for people who enjoy hearty, traditional home-style cooking. There are no vegetarian dishes, nor is there any chicken as an alternative. Special requests are not considered and will be declined. Some of the vegetables are canned (mushrooms), and the dumplings are ready-made from a packet. Drinks are standard, but OK.

Very pleasant, food good and cheap. Despite the busy restaurant, fast and friendly service. It is becoming increasingly rare to find an inn like this. Thanks.

Great value for money. Great beer prices - very tasty food at great prices. The atmosphere is certainly a bit old-fashioned, but it definitely has charm.

Man sitzt wie im Wohnzimmer. Kleine Speisekarte, günstige Preise. Die Wirtsleute sind ... probiert es selbst. Nachtrag: Wenn man zwingend einen Besuch vor hat, vorher klären, ob geöffnet ist. Öffnungszeiten in der letzten Zeit sehr variabel

Parádní domácí kuchyně, velice milá paní majitelka. Klidné místo. Staré dobré časy, žádný fastfood.

Das es so einen Dorfgasthof noch gibt - wir haben uns in der Zeit weit zurück versetzt gefühlt - in die "gute alte Zeit". Das ganze Ambiente ist nett, die Bedienung freundlich, geschmeckt hat es super und die Preise noch unter einem moderaten Niveau. Gerne und auf jeden Fall werden wir wieder herkommen!

Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man im Schönfelder Hochland unterwegs ist. Eine Einkehr lohnt sich immer!

Unglaublich,dass es so etwas noch gibt: kleiner Dorfgasthof, nette Wirtin, super lecker und toll angerichtetes Essen; und das alles für einen schmalen Taler.

Ich besuche den gasthof regelmäßig mit unserem Verein. Der gasthof ist gut Gelegen und hat gutes preisbewusste Essen.
