The outdoor seating area was still open on November 5th, amazing!! The food was very good (Dead Grandma), the beer was so-so... They still have meals under €15 – you hardly ever find that in Leipzig anymore. The 20 km bike ride was worth it!

I don't understand the good reviews here. The service was rather unfriendly, the homemade lemonade tasted of nothing, and the rest of the food reminded me a bit of a Metro trip. Maybe I was just having a bad day.

Very rustic with delicious food

Unfortunately, the service was extremely unfriendly and inhospitable, so we left the restaurant without any food.

Campsite restaurant with a decent selection of German cuisine and a wide range of drinks. Portions are generous, and prices are sometimes comparable to those of a downtown restaurant. Service is friendly and fast. Plenty of parking is available, and card payments are accepted.

A perfectly adequate restaurant at the campsite. A straightforward menu with moderate prices. Starters, main courses, and ice cream for dessert. Fast, friendly, and good. Card payments were accepted (at least at the neighboring table). The daily specials offer several additional dishes—worth a read 😉.

We wanted to try the restaurant in July 2025. We went to the reception around 5:45 p.m. We were sent away with the explanation that they weren't serving anything that day.

We've been here several times and are always impressed. The service is excellent, prompt, and very friendly. Marcello always has a smile on his face. The food is very good and everything is freshly cooked, including freshly prepared salads, delicious dressings, homemade remoulade, etc. The menu is small but delicious, with daily specials changing every day.

I find the prices unreasonable!! A salad with sheep's cheese costs over €16, fries €7. The food tasted good, but the decor (outside) looks more like a snack bar.

Schnitzel is very good. The farmer's breakfast was also very tasty. Unfortunately you can only pay in cash.

Opening time on Tuesdays from 3 p.m. We called 3:01 p.m. 3:04 p.m. 3:08 p.m. 3:12 p.m. - Without success we contacted us by email at 3:13 p.m. with the following words; Hello, we can't reach anyone by telephone or radio and wanted to reserve a table for 4 people today at 5 p.m. Could you please help us? Answer 8:20 p.m Unfortunately we are completely overloaded with staff, but you would have liked a table from 5 p.m., maybe you were even there??! If you had asked in the morning it would have been possible, but we don't have anyone on the phone or computer all the time. Thank you for your understanding! I'll leave it at that and let the reader judge for themselves. We were definitely happy to be somewhere else and can continue to comfortably drive past the Neuseenstübel and deeply regret that the employees are already completely overworked just 1 minute after opening.

Stopped here on today's bike ride. Very nice atmosphere and very nice staff. The Budweiser on tap is a dream :)

Für einen Campingplatz ist die Küche komplett i.O. Große gaumenfreuden darf man nicht erwarten. Das Essen kommt zügig und ist vom Geschmack vollkommen solide. Selbst der Salat ist nicht langweilig. Leider nur Barzahlung.

Salatteller mit Hähnchen und hausgemachtem Dressing 15,60Eur. Leider kamen wir nicht in den Genuss, nur Barzahlung. Bei heutigen Preisen, und seien sie noch so gerechtfertigt, ist Essengehen mit zwei Kindern geprägt vom nächsten Geldautomaten. Völlig unverständlich.

Leckeres Essen Preisleistung fair . .

Ein fantastischer Ort um Pause zu machen und sich bei einem kühlen Bier und einen leckeren Schnitzel zu stärken.

Nach dem Kletterpark eine super Adresse um sich zu stärken! Super Bedienung, leckeres Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Sehr leckeres Essen aber extrem lange Wartezeit. 50 Minuten auf Nudeln und Currywurst. Bedienung etwas verpeilt weil wohl Neu.

Man kann hier essen und trinken. Leider Ruhetage/Woche. Das gefällt den Gästen nahen Campingplatzes garnicht

Gutes reichliches Essen und nette freundliche Bedienung. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, man fühlt sich willkommen. Wir sehen uns in den nächsten Tagen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

Gaststätte mit guten Preis Leistungs Verhältnis, nettes Personal, super Ausblick auf den Markleeberger See, kleine Karte, aber für jeden was dabei, alle Speisen frisch zubereitet und von guter Qualität. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Auf unserer Fahrrad Tour haben wir hier halt gemacht. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Preis Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Kartenzahlung ist möglich.

War sehr gute Hausmannskost, richtig lecker. Allerdings wurden Abweichungen von der Karte nicht gemacht.

Auch wenn die Gaststätte wegen Personalmangel geschlossen hat, wurden wir auf dem Freisitz sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient, kleine Karte und kühle Getränke 👍🏻

Gutes Essen aber nichts extratolles. Standart. Gut jedenfalls für Radtouren und Wanderungen. Getränke eher teuer, Essen eher günstig. Für alle Sterne müsste die Auswahl an Speisen erhöht werden.

Leckeres und frisches Essen, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Im nächsten Urlaub kommen wir wieder!
