Neuhauser in München

December 9th, 2023: We are disappointed. Unfortunately, the pizzas were only lukewarm and even cold in the middle, both of them. Although the taste is good, it's unfortunately a bitter dampener. And unfortunately the pasta dish came 15 minutes later, when everyone else was almost finished, that can't happen! And we had to wait a long time for the first drink order, and even longer for it to be delivered. The service is very nice, but we felt overwhelmed and were constantly running back and forth. Or is it generally a worse organization here - see other reviews? The starters of burrata and bruscetta were as ordered. But I don't understand why the bruscetta in particular has to be so huge as a starter. After that, a whole pizza or pasta as a main course is impossible (and not just for me!)... The atmosphere is nice, by the way. Oh yes, the price-performance ratio would be OK with better service/better planning, but unfortunately not. There were six of us, so there are 6 witnesses that this opinion is very correct, dear lawyers! ☝🏻

The pizza is absolutely unbeatable. Picking up the pizza is really a treat and worth it!!! Tiramisu isn't exactly cheap, but it's one of the best in Munich! I've lived a few doors down for 20 years and have known the shop since it opened... The quality of the food there has always been equally good! The staff is great too...

Great food, when there is a big celebration, my family and I are always guests at Neuhauser. It is important that you reserve in advance, as all tables are almost always full in the evening!

Can definitely recommend the Neuhauser. The food is great and the pizza is huge. Attentive service (no longer the norm these days). All in all the evening was great! I'd love to come back if I'm in Munich again 😃👌🏽

We ordered two pizzas one Romoe and Juliet and one Ela and we found a blonde hair in the romeo and Juliet. We truly didn't want to leave a review, so we called the restaurant and complained and the answer was "We do not have anyone with blonde hair". That was not the kind of response one expects. I'm attaching picture for proof. (Also none of the people "eating" the pizza also have blonde hair)

I was there with a friend. It was spontaneous and that's why we didn't make a reservation. When we entered we were greeted warmly by all the employees. We ordered a pizza 🍕 and I ordered tartofu negra. Both solid quality, although my dessert was a convenient product. At least it was well decorated. Prices are rather medium/high. Ambience very clean and inviting although too dark to read the menu. So the guests read the memory card with the flashlight on their cell phones.

This is a very nice and cozy café with friendly staff. They serve various types of Italian pizza. We tried the coffee and some desserts, and they were excellent. The atmosphere is also very cozy and pleasant. However, it can get a bit noisy during peak hours.

Come regularly. The service is always friendly and you will be served with consideration even if you have a child! The restaurant is spacious, so you can get a seat spontaneously even in lively Munich. The pizzas, pasta and salads are very tasty and the portions are filling! Also great for pickup. Keep it up.

We had a very nice evening in this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were generous. We tried pizza, soup and spaghetti with seafood - everything was fresh and tasted excellent. Also of particular note were the cocktails, which were also delicious. In terms of price, the restaurant is in the typical Munich range - not cheap, but not overpriced either. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. A big compliment goes to the friendly and attentive staff who made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience that we would love to repeat!

Known for its really large stone oven pizzas, the Neuhauser offers much more: great pasta dishes, great salads and a drinks menu that leaves nothing to be desired. Whether as a couple or with a larger group, the friendly, attentive and calm service will make your stay a great event. Please keep it up.

One of our favorites! My little daughter really likes it there. The food was so delicious! Portions really big and nicely decorated. You can immediately see that there is love behind it. Very nice staff, friendly, attentive and child-friendly! I would happily recommend it!

Very tasty wood-fired pizza! Very thin dough, baked crispy. My favorite: The Contadina. Great selection of vegetarian pizzas. The Spritz menu is very diverse and seating is quite good both inside and outside. The service is usually nice and attentive ☺️

We were here spontaneously on a Sunday. We were allowed to choose the place freely. The service was very courteous and always responded immediately ☺️🤩 All wishes were taken into account. Starters were 2 soups (tomato soup and minestrone). Also 2 pizzas 🍕🍕 Quality was 👍🏼 Will definitely visit the restaurant again 🫶🏼🤩

The shadow is getting longer, update: Unfortunately I had to reduce it to 2 stars. As described in the first review below, the quality of the pizzas is unpredictable. The tables outside were great, but the next ones weren't adequate. One side was undercooked and the base was soggy. In addition, the pizza was somewhere between large and small. The service had cut the pizza on the pizza oven and could see that this was not a pizza for sale. A Pizza Funghi has a cost of goods sold of €1.50, which is not understandable for this service and €14.50 in sales. The break is extended. Light and shadow The Neuhauser has a really nice atmosphere, the waiters are sometimes like this and sometimes like that. The same goes for the pizzas. Some times they were awesome, incomparable. Sometimes it's more so-so. Really bad today. The salami on the pizza was almost half a centimeter thick, the base was blonde and soft. The funghi was completely tasteless. Sorry, it's not worth around 14.50 per pizza. Apparently you have to be lucky which pizzaiolo is at the oven today. It's a shame, as neighbors we're taking a break for now.

I lived next to this restaurant for half a year and used to visit this restaurant about twice a month. It's a place where you can always have a pleasant time, no matter whether you meet friends, or have guests from another country, or just want to enjoy your evening. Speaking of the meals, the pasta served here is just fine, as is the pizza. If you're interested in something healthier, you can order for example Minestrone soup and / or some salad. The main courses are also mostly quite decent. P.S. vegans will not leave this place hungry either:)

The prices are very high. Spaghetti Bolognese 17 euros plus delivery costs and service fee upon delivery. Unfortunately, special requests will not be taken into account.

Die meisten Leute im Service sind top, die Jungs hinter der Theke immer freundlich, geistreich und aufmerksam. Seit Januar gibt es anscheinend einen neuen Pizzabäcker. Tomatensauce ist nicht abgeschmeckt, schmeckt säuerlich und ungesalzen. Auf der Pizza ist diese nicht verteilt wie es normalerweise der Fall ist sondern liegt wie eine Paste lieblos drauf, ich vermute ein Fertigprodukt. Die Ränder sind in der Mitte teilweise noch roh so das man Teig isst. Der Höhepunkt war heute eine Pizza Golosa auf der ich extra Gorgonzola haben wollte, was nebenbei 2 € Aufpreis bedeutet, auf welcher der Gorgonzola Käse einfach daraufgestreut wurde ohne das er geschmolzen ist. Das für eine knapp 18 € Pizza. Schwer enttäuscht. Der Laden war mal top nun kriegste Kelche mit Öl an den Tisch, so dass wenn du mal etwas mehr Knoblauch oder scharfe Paprika auf dem Gericht haben willst du einen ordentlichen Schuss Öl in Kauf nehmen musst. Die Erklärung ist es wäre hygienischer obwohl ich glaube das es Faulheit der neuen Schichtleitung ist. Es ist einfacher den Kelch einmal die Woche aufzufühlen anstatt die kleinen Porzellan Schälchen jeden Tag neu zu befüllen bzw. zu kontrollieren. Wer einen guten Espresso trinken will kann den hier sicherlich bekommen für den Rest würde ich mir überlegen ob es das Geld wert ist. Pasta ist bis dato jedoch immer gut gewesen. Was auch ein Punkt ist. Das zeitgleiche Servieren von Essen aus der Küche und einer Pizza ist scheinbar unmöglich.

Wir waren am Silvesterabend hier essen und haben Spaghetti Aglio Olio mit Garnelen und Spaghetti Carbonara gegessen. Die Portionen sind wirklich riesig und es schmeckt sehr lecker. Als Nachtisch hatten wir Tiramisu und Profiterole bestellt. Die Tiramisu hat mir nicht so gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war super lustig und sehr nett. Da es recht voll war, war es wirklich auch sehr laut. Alles in allem aber gut und weiterzuempfehlen.

95€ gesagt, ins Gerät eingegeben und abgebucht wurden 100€. Ich unterstelle keine Absicht, trotzdem sehr fragwürdig. Nicht bei jedem sitzt das Geld noch so locker und Trinkgeld ist in Deutschland immer noch freiwillig… Essen, Trinken und der sonstige Service waren gut! Etwas zugig war’s allerdings, obwohl wir recht weit hinten saßen.

Вкусная пицца из дровяной печи, очень дружелюбный персонал, огромные порции ( минимум на двоих), в общем, очень удачно место для семейного или дружеского обеда, ужина. И коктейли понравились.

Das Essen war preislich und qualitativ in Ordnung und die Bedienung war sehr nett. Mir persönlich war es vielleicht etwas zu "jugendlich" aber das ist ja dann eher auch eine Frage des persönlichen Empfindens.

Nach längerer Zeit mal wieder dort gewesen. Nach 17 Uhr immer noch die großen Pizzas. Auch noch genauso lecker, wie beim letzten Mal. Guter Service.

Frischer und größer geht die Steinofenpizza kaum, Knoblauch- und Chilli-Öl werden obligatorisch dazu gereicht und mit dem Belag wird nicht gespart. Die Salate sind herrlich kombiniert und das selbst gebackene Brot dazu is eine fluffige Begleitung 👌🏼

Netter Service und lecker essen

Das Neuhauser ist ein schönes Lokal mit einer großen Auswahl an Gerichten, wechselnder Tages- bzw. Wochenkarte und freundlichem Personal. Alles, was ich bisher dort gegessen habe (Pizza, Pasta, Salat) hat mir gut geschmeckt.

Ich war immer sehr zufrieden, Essen ist sowieso super lecker! Schade nur (und deshalb der Sternenabzug) dass das Essen jetzt nicht nur deutlich teurer geworden ist sondern auch noch die Portionen kleiner geworden sind. Schade diese Entwicklung!

Richtig gute Pizzen. Allgemein leider bisschen teurer Nachtrag | Mittagessen: Die Minestrone ist nicht zu empfehlen. Geschmacklos und es wurde kein frisches Gemüse verwendet. Zudem hat sich der Service lange Zeit gelassen, bis sie die Bestellungen aufgenommen hat, obwohl kaum was los war.

Service Top, Küche leider nicht, Pizza super, Fleischgerichte nicht zu empfehlen. Kommen aber trotzdem nochmal für einen zweiten Versuch, vielleicht hätten wir heute einfach nur Pech.... Respekt und Danke an unsere Bedienung, ich wäre ausgeflippt. Bewertung wird gerne nach dem nächsten Besuch angepasst.

Hab knapp 14 € für eine Salami Pizza bezahlt. Fand ich schon ein wenig happig.

Nette Bedienung, super Pizzakoch. Uns wurden allen jeweils ein Nutella-pizzastück als Nachspeise geschenkt. 👍

The waiter misunderstood my order and brought me the wrong dinner. When I pointed this out he argued with me and walked off. I didn’t eat the food. He was arrogant. I wouldn’t eat here again.

Habe hier eine Pizza gegessen, einen Softdrink gehabt und danach einen Espresso getrunken. Die Pizza sah zwar gut aus, hat aber trotzdem nicht so doll geschmeckt, war auch nicht wirklich italienisch, obwohl sie so beworben wurde. Und ehrlich gesagt finde ich 11,90 Euro für eine simple Margerita Pizza auch zu viel. Ein normales Helles (0,5 l) war mit über 5,00 Euro auch zu viel Geld für so ein einfaches Bier. Der anschließende Espresso war zum einen nicht kräftig genug und zum anderen kostete dieser dann auch noch 2,80 Euro. Es war ein einmaliger Ausflug in diese Lokalität. Das war grundsätzlich nicht schlecht, aber preislich überzogen und dann hat es auch noch ziemlich lange gedauert, bis die einzelnen Sachen serviert wurden.

Le café neuhauser est un restaurant italien situé à l'ouest de Munich, près de l'hôtel Ibis Arnulfpark. L'accueil est glacial, la serveuse ne décroche pas un sourire... La carte est conséquente, mais la déception est vite au rendez-vous si vous choisissez un autre plat qu'une pizza. Les portions sont justes et le goût n'est pas eu rendez-vous. Pour les pizzas en revanche, c'est tout le contraire: la pizza est énorme (38 centimètres de diamètre) et les ingrédients sont visiblement de qualité. Bilan: pour une pizza, oui, pour des pâtes, des lasagnes ou autres, non.

Wir hatten draußen reserviert. Wurde nicht eingehalten. Telefonisch nicht abgesagt. Der Chef hat am Abend in arroganter Gestik erklärt, dass wir ihm als Gast nicht wichtig sind. Abfällig und abschätzend. Einfach nicht zeitgemäß und laienhaft. Dann wurde uns zum Abschied ein Espresso aufs Haus versprochen- eh ein Witz als Entschädigung. Diesen fanden wir dann wieder auf unserer Rechnung vor. Eben noch Stammgast mit vielen Empfehlungen für andere. Jetzt schon Gast der Vergangenheit mit negativer Mundpropaganda- und das ist mein Versprechen und zum Gegensatz zu Ihnen halte ich das auch.

Averagely good pasta. Decent enough to be a good meal but not out of this world. The service was really good and it was busy on a weeknight, so probably popular with locals.

We needed food after Oktoberfest, and this restaurant was close to our AirBnB. Great pizza & pasta, quick and friendly service, and good prices. The serving sizes were great, 3/4 of us ended up with to go containers. We were there relatively late (9pm), but I'm sure this is busy around dinnertime!

Cafe Neuhauser is a lovely, fancy restaurant in Munich, not far from the City Center and it is a good option if you would like to have at your lunch pizza or pasta. With a large list o pizzas, I saw that they marked the spicy ones by adding a red pepper. The prices are good, I paid almost €12 for a 28 cm pizza, but I ate just half of it because was huge. The food is tasty and looks really nice. You can pay by Cash or card, with no restrictions.

Used to visit this place fairly often when I lived in Munich - The pizzas are excellent, good thinnish base & nice selection of toppings. Really good value for money as well, you can get a large pizza for 10-15 euros depending on the topping. Has outdoor seating in summer as well, really nice for a pizza and a beer in the sunshine on an evening.

Even tho the food was very nice the service was below C-class. We were serviced by a black haired waitress who greeted with mere "what do you want", was impatient and had nervous maneuvers through out our interactions. We visited the place with a really nice mood expecting having a good time but we ended up with a bad experience due to the bad service. Sad to see such a high quality restaurant with such a low quality service.

There pizza are very good (one of the most tried in Munich). The prices are ok, around 10€ for a pizza of 28cm
