Delicious food, old atmosphere and good price and quality

Very tasty, large selection and diverse! Only the toilets need regular inspection... Addendum 10/29/24: unfortunately - like everything - it has become more expensive and the selection is very limited.

I ate and drank mediocre here. In summary, I can give a maximum of 4 stars for everything. The service wasn't exactly great during my visits. You often had to ask when you needed service.

Great food, very nice service, it went quickly and we had a lovely sit outside! Prices have rarely been seen so cheaply, for example when it comes to schnitzel of all kinds! Were completely satisfied!

We always go there for breakfast with the family from 9 a.m. on Sundays. There is a beautiful and diverse buffet. Of the standards (sausage, cheese, salad, etc.) you also get currywurst croquettes, Börek sticks and a lot more that you can't get elsewhere and for rounded up 17 euros it's an amazing price

The toilets in particular are more than questionable. Every train station toilet is more hygienic. From that perspective alone, I wouldn't eat here again. The buffet (breakfast) was okay - but the “warm” dishes consisted of ready-made products from the deep fryer. Here even €15.90 is too much.

Nice service, great price for breakfast with a very large selection. From July 15th Closed for vacation.

XXL schnitzel was great...... Gladly again

We were invited there for a birthday. I gave it 3 stars . Let's start with eating!! Lots of different schnitzel and rotisserie dishes... The guests who eat meat were thrilled with their food, everything was delicious, the fried potatoes, the meat dishes, etc. Unfortunately there is nothing for vegetarians!!! Not an alternative dish, a shame. As a vegetarian you can help yourself to the small salad bar But there is not a single main course. service The service was very friendly, always there immediately with a friendly smile on their faces. Very comfortable and everything was great. It's my partner's birthday and we went to breakfast with my in-laws on Sunday morning. Very tasty coffee, very tasty juices and you could take as much as you wanted. The food was also very tasty, beautifully decorated and everything looked appetizing. The rolls were fresh, raw vegetables were also very tasty, sausage and cheese were also available in a large selection and were delicious. The staff was also very friendly and regularly checked whether there was enough of everything. All in all, I can recommend it with a clear conscience. Full 5 stars and gladly again. So I have to say for the money that is charged for the food, I don't think it's great, the schnitzel wasn't homemade, you can tell, you can see that the meat wasn't even cooked through, the salad bar was only filled after the guests asked for it The toilet (gentlemen) still stank of urine so it's not recommended. For €36 I get real food and not something like that

Had breakfast there with a friend on a Sunday morning. I was thrilled by the rich and varied buffet offered there. There were delicious rolls to choose from, various types of sausage and cheese, fruit, vegetables and desserts, delicious coffee and three different juices. The busy lady there was very friendly. There are enough parking spaces available, if required in the net parking lot. The interior is rustic but cozy.

We were there for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The food, ambience and service are top. Great value for money!!! We'd love to come back.

First the positive: the steak was well cooked and a reasonable size. The mushrooms and fried potatoes were also good. Unfortunately, the wine and the salad buffet couldn't keep up. What completely ruined the cozy evening was a guest who didn't tolerate the alcohol as well as he had hoped. Instead of putting a stop to the commotion, he is rewarded with his loud request for music (Roland Kaiser) at an even greater volume. IN A RESTAURANT. Unfortunately that was our last visit.

Sweet and pleasant staff and owner enjoy the tastiest food in Ubach Palenberg cheap but also very tasty come there very often 2 to 3 times a month

I wanted to treat myself to a schnitzel. The waitress (very friendly) recommended the weekday offer to me. XXXL schnitzel. With 3 sauces, fries, croquettes, vegetables and salad from the salad buffet. Everything for 19 90€. Everything was very tasty and really gigantic. Unbeatable for the price :)

The service was catastrophe. We were there for breakfast. You weren't asked if you wanted something to drink, all tables were cleared away. Ours wasn't cleared away until the end or things that weren't needed were left waiting. We felt very uncomfortable and ignored. Will not visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately, I come to this restaurant very irregularly, but I really enjoy it. The owner is a super lovely woman and the staff is always friendly ❤️ I'm particularly impressed by the steaks here because they are ALWAYS perfect (mine here was medium) ❤️ Highly recommended for everyone. The portions are a good size and if you enter the restaurant hungry you will definitely leave full 💐

Tasty, but the schnitzels could be a little larger, especially for Germany.

The food was ok, but nothing more. There was only one dressing (vinegar oil with mustard). The food came and then no one was seen anymore. No asking if you want anything else! It's probably better to bring your own drinks. If there had been a lot going on, I would have understood it. But there were only three tables occupied!!! Once and never again, sorry.

In addition to the cheap xxl schnitzels, there are also very tasty dishes on the menu. All not expensive but plenty. The only thing that really takes some getting used to is that cash payments are old-fashioned.

For the second time, the waiter does not give change without our permission. This was also the case a few weeks earlier, but we thought we might be unclear. But again last Saturday! But this time the waiter finally shouted that we still had change! Very annoying and unpleasant experience! I don't know if we will ever go back! You get a tip, but you can't just take it yourself! Very unfriendly male waiter. The younger lady wasn't really friendly either. The food is good though.

Also das Essen so weit okay aber auch nichts besonderes. Das Salat Buffet das geht gar nicht. Es wurde nachgefragt ob es wieder aufgefüllt werden kann, wurde nur gesagt wenn nichts mehr da dann nicht. Die Kegelbahnen müssen dringend General überholt werden. Die Toiletten müssen vor allen dingen mal richtig gereinigt werden. Also es gibt bessere Restaurants in Übach.

Waren zum Frühstück dort. Große Auswahl an Aufschnitt. Säfte , Tee oder Kaffee dabei. Rührei / Nuggets / Kroketten/ Mini Frühlingsrollen. Und mit 15.90 auch annehmbarer Preis. Wir gehen bestimmt wieder dort essen.

Preis, Leistung sehr gut, ein riesengroßes Schnitzel dazu dicke Pommes, Kartoffelkroketten, etwas gegartes Gemüse drei verschiedene warme Sossen drei Zitronenscheiben und Salat vom Buffet Alles aber wirklich alles fand ich super lecker. Da bin ich nicht das letzte Mal gewesen, Der Weg lohnt sich.

10 punten verdienen ze ook Veel paking en ook tegenover gratis ruim parkeren.je kan er ook met de trein geraken want die stopt daar. Vriendelijke bediening (3x in de week aan 19,90€ inclusief 2personen ) Zalige schnitsel xxxxxxxxxl Crocetten, boerenfrieten, bloemkool, broccoli en 3 verschillende sausen warm. + ruime salade bar per persoon ook in deze schotel inclusief 2x.(kolen, bieten,pepers,bonen,verse wortelen,salde, ricolla enz.......) Grote Xl cola= 3,5€ Heerlijk wij maken reclame en komen terug met al onze bekenden en familie (Netto tegenover en lidl enz in de buurt dus dst kan je ook nog combineren als buitenlander voor de week boodschappen)

war gestern mit meiner Familie (10Pers.) dort essen. Alle waren zufrieden und egal wer was bestellt hatte, es hat allen geschmeckt. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Wir waren begeistert von dem neuen Schnitzel Angebot. Nächstes Mal gehen wir wieder zum Frühstücksbuffet Sonntags. Das kann ich auch nur jedem empfehlen 😉

Sehr leckeres Essen, ich war dort mit ein paar Freunden gegen Abend. Wir haben alle die Schnitzelplatte bestellt, es war lecker und genug für 2 Personen. Selbst wenn es nicht ganz gereicht hat konnte man sich an der Salatbar bedienen. Sehr freundlich und familiäres Personal. Essen war frisch und schnell da, alles im allem das beste Schnitzel das ich hier im Umkreis gegessen habe.

Heerlijk gegeten! Grote portie en zag er fris en vers uit. Zo ook het salade-buffet! Het toilet zag er (vandaag) minder fris uit, is punt voor verbetering!

Leider läßt die Qualität nach😏 Die Toilette vermisst die Reinigung 😔 Service und Sauberkeit vom Lokal und Personal sind seit dem letzten Besuch deutlich schlechter geworden 👎

Essen war ok hab leider keine Frühlingsrolle bekommen

Wir waren heute zum erstenmal im ,,Postwagen mit Freunden beim Sonntagsbruch.Wir waren von 9 30 Uhr bis zum Schluß 12 00 Uhr hier.Das Buffett ist wie ich finde sehr reichhaltig und geschmackvoll alles angerichtet.Ich kann nicht ins Detail gehen ,aber Rührei, Spiegeleier,Joghurt, Obst und vieles mehr .Und was ich bevorzuge ,Kaffee inklusive. Für mich alles in allem ein toller Brunch.Lg

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend , essen sehr gut viel auf dem Teller Getränke gut der Service bis jen dran arbeiten.

Lecker Essen in einen Restaurant ohne Sterne, das mindestens diese vier oben von mir erhält!****!!!

Das Essen ist nicht wirklich lecker, es ist kaum gewürzt, schmeckt also nach nichts, Wasser wird mehr oder weniger angeboten, bezahlen muss man das aber natürlich selber, wird aber einfach auf den Tisch gestellt. Gläser müssen teilweise auch selbst besorgt werden. Das angerichtete Essen sieht nicht sehr schmackhaft aus und ist auch nur lauwarm bis kalt. Das Essen an sich, ist auch nicht wirklich gut, bis auf den Salat. Die Mozerellasticks sind keine Mozerellastick, die Nudeln schmecken nach nichts, Frühlingsrollen sind nicht zu empfehlen.

Das Frühstücksangebot im Restaurant Postwagen kann sich durchaus sehen lassen und scheut auch im Preis-Leistungsbereich keinen Vergleich mit anderen Restaurants die Frühstück anbieten. Das Buffet deckt alle Wünsche und Bedürfnisse ab und ist zudem sehr nett und ansehnlich angerichtet. Der Service im Restaurant ist gut aber durchaus ausbaufähig. Auch das Ambiente kann durch zueinander passendem Mobiliar noch aufgewertet werden. Es reicht hier aber für eine durchweg solide positive Bewertung. Ich komme sicher wieder und bringe gerne auch Freunde und Bekannte mit.

Nicht wirklich ein besonderes Sonntagsfrühstück... Wir haben dort einen Geburtstag gefeiert und mit der Familie dort gefrühstückt. Uns begrüßte schon eine verschmutzte Tischdecke und abgeschnittene Blumendeko mit nur noch nackten Halmen ohne Blüten... Dann lieber nichts hinstellen. Eine etwas in die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung. Das Buffet enthielt Ei in jeder Form, das war sehr gut. Dazu gab es Tintenfischringe und Currywurst (?) als warme Speise ohne Beilage. Der Aufschnitt sah aus wie Supermarktware, okay, aber halt keine gehobene Qualität. Lediglich ein großer Brie war das Highlight. Kaffee und Saft Flatrate war enthalten, dadurch 3 Sterne.

Kann man sehr gut weiterempfehlen. Das Essen war super lecker.vielen dank an die Küche
