Europa-stuben in Übach-Palenberg

Sehr leckeres Essen mit gutem Service! Die Klimatisierung macht den Aufenthalt sogar bei über 30° C draußen sehr angenehm!

Aufgrund der hohen Mittagstemperaturen war es mir nicht möglich, selbst zu kochen. Daher habe ich mich entschlossen, die Europastuben in Übach-Palenberg zu besuchen, da ich bereits viel Positives über dieses Lokal gehört hatte. Samstags mittags um 13 Uhr war das Restaurant gut besucht. Ich habe mich für das Mittagsmenü entschieden, welches eine Gemüsecremesuppe, Zigeunerschnitzel mit Pommes und Salat von der Salattheke sowie einen Nachtisch umfasste. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen warmen Sliwowitz. Ich hatte noch einen kurzen Plausch mit der Bedienung, wobei ich sie fragte, ob man eigentlich reservieren müsste. Sie sagte mir, mittwochs sei Schnitzeltag, dann sollte man doch vorher reservieren. Alles in allem kann man dieses Restaurant empfehlen. Es hat mir sehr gut gemundet. Ich werde jetzt öfters mittags in der Europastube essen gehen, es ist doch viel besser als bei einer Pommesbude.

Spitzenreiter in Sache Gastronomie im Kreis Heinsberg...kreative und abwechslungsreiche Gerichte...egal ob beim genialen Mittagstisch oder auch Abends...hier wird immer lecker gekocht...top abgeschmeckt ... und auch die Portionen sind angemessen...die Salate vom Buffet sind stets frisch und zahlreich in der Auswahl...als Bier gibt s hier u.a. leckeres Bitburger Landbier vom Fass...aber auch die Weine sind nicht zu verachten...der Service ist auf zack, freundlich und kompetent...das Ambiente relativ frisch renoviert und mega stilvoll...alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung...somit: bitte bitte genau so weitermachen

Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist modern gestaltet und sehr ansprechend . Das Essen , egal was , ist wie immer toll zubereitet . Die Service Kräfte sind wie immer sehr freundlich . Ich kann dieses Restaurant einfach nur sehr empfehlen und ich bin sehr gerne dort. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Auf Wünsche wird eingegangen.

Ohne reservierung zweimal spontan angemeldet. Leider noe!!!

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Ich habe hier vor langer Zeit gegessen. Das Restaurant sieht nach der Renovierung wunderschön aus. Freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Ambiente und ausgezeichnete Speisen und Getränke.

Wir waren mit 12 Leuten essen als einer der Keller mir 2 Gläser Cola in den Nacken gekippt hat. (Ich war bis auf die Unterhose nass) Diesem Keller war es sichtlich peinlich und unangenehm und klar Unfälle passieren aber die Kollegin von diesem Keller hat sich daraufhin komplett unangebracht verhalten. Diese hat mir erst nach Aufforderung einen neuen Stuhl gebracht und musste auch zuerst noch kontrollieren ob mein Stuhl wirklich nass ist. Das Personal ist weder auf die Idee gekommen eine runde aufs Haus auszugeben noch sonst etwas als Entschädigung anzubieten. Ich werde mit Sicherheit nicht mehr in dieses Restaurant gehen.

Essen war mal besser und nach 1 Std wurden wir sozusagen rausgeschmissen werden da nicht mehr hin gehen . Kann man auch nicht empfehlen

Sehr schön eingerichtet, leckeres Essen, flinke und freundliche Bedienung. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Gutes Essen, grosse Portionen sehr nettes Team, wahrscheinlich familiengeführt. Schönes und modernes Ambiente, ggf. etwas dunkel. Parken ist recht gut, komme gerne wieder. Für einen Donnerstag 18 Uhr war es sehr voll, spricht für das Restaurant.

Preis/Leistung passt hier sehr gut. Es war etwas unangenehm laut, wir saßen in der Mitte des Restaurants.

Es begann mit der Zwiebelsuppe, die schmeckte, als würde man das salzige Meer trinken; extrem salzig, einfach nur widerlich. Dann kam Nummer 152, eine große Platte mit völlig geschmacklosem Fleisch; es schmeckte wie Gordon Ramsays schlimmster Albtraum, aber die Pommes waren gut. Danach gab es Vanilleeis mit Schokolade; man sollte meinen, da kann nichts schiefgehen, aber die Schokolade schmeckte, als wäre Wodka drin; extrem bitter. Insgesamt waren Atmosphäre und Service gut, aber das Essen war furchtbar.

Wir haben uns Ostersonntag spontan für die Europastben entschieden. Uns wurde vom freundlichen Personal ein Tisch zugewiesen. 2 mal den Grillteller bestellt. Salat vom Buffet war in Ordnung. Normale Auswahl. Alles sehr sauber angerichtet. Grillteller war mega lecker. Toller lockerer Reis und heiße Pommes. Fleisch super gebraten, zart und saftig und nicht wie bei vielen, wo das Fleisch ein zweites Mal in der Pfanne stirbt. Toller Service, schöne Einrichtung sauber und freundliche MA. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Super leckeres und ausreichendes Essen! Es hat phantastisch geschmeckt! Der Service ist spitze und das Restaurant lädt zum verweilen ein. Es ist super gemütlich und schön dort! Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend! Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es absolut empfehlen!

The food is too good, but I have no words for the pancakes.

Great restaurant. Very tasty appetizers and main courses. We go there often and have never been disappointed. One star deducted for service because the banana juice in the banana wheat beer was charged extra.

Restaurant just across the border, with an extensive menu. Frequented by many Dutch people, reservations are definitely recommended. Extensive menu, Balkan food. The quality is really good and the portions are large. There's a salad bar. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff! This is a restaurant we'll definitely be eating at regularly!

We were here on a Friday and had reserved a table in advance, which I highly recommend! We arrived a bit earlier than planned and therefore had to wait for our table. The service was generally good. The salad bar has been a staple for ages, offering salads as a starter. This concept hasn't evolved much, but I assume many guests still like it. The food itself is okay, but nothing more than that. The prices could definitely be a bit lower. The ambiance, however, has become quite lovely.

We were there for the first time yesterday. And we were very impressed. The staff was extremely friendly. The atmosphere was great. The food was delicious and plentiful. It won't be our last visit.

Cozy atmosphere. Friendly service. No long wait times; our food arrived at the same time for a group of seven. The only downside: considering the price, the portions were too small for the money. I paid €23.90, and I was tempted to ask if I'd accidentally ordered from the children's menu or if they'd brought me something like that. On the plus side, the salad bar was included. Because of the small portions of the main course, I won't be returning. Live and let live.

The restaurant in Übach-Palenberg is modern and comfortably furnished. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was freshly prepared and delicious, and the wait was short. The drinks were fresh and cold. There is ample public parking nearby. The price-performance ratio is definitely right for me.

Europastuben is a good restaurant with its own salad bar. The service is fast and friendly. It has a cozy and clean atmosphere. The average price of food and drinks is between 20 and 30 euros per person. The food looked delicious, and I definitely recommend it.

After the renovation, the ambiance is modern. Not as "old-fashioned" as before, but also not as cozy. That's a matter of opinion, though. The food is super delicious, but the prices, as in all restaurants, have risen considerably. The restaurant was packed, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. Because the separate areas are no longer there and everything is open-plan, the noise level during the meal is also increased. On the day we were there, we found this disturbing, as you automatically had to speak louder to even hear each other. Update with photos from early October 2025: It was simply 😋...super delicious!!!

The service was friendly, and the food arrived promptly. We tried a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. It certainly won't be our last visit. Highly recommended.

The food is inexpensive, the portions are large, and it's delicious (aside from the comment about the vegetarian dish). Service is quite fast for such a busy restaurant. The restaurant is packed and quite noisy on Friday evenings.

According to their website, they're open until 10 PM on Saturdays, and the kitchen until 9 PM. But when we arrived at 8:25 PM, we couldn't eat there anymore. That speaks volumes. Untrustworthy, so we won't be trying again.

I came to the restaurant with my girlfriend. We ordered from the lunch menu. The soup was still edible. The salad buffet was terrible, with little flies everywhere, buzzing around the salad, and everything was very coarsely cut. Then came the schnitzel. It was inedible; it was sour, or bad, inedible. When we voiced our criticism, the waitress became very rude, to put it mildly!

The food was delicious, the plates were beautifully presented, the portions were (overly) large, and the quality was excellent. Despite the crowds, the service was very attentive. Everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Yes, it's not cheap—it's definitely not a "good, cheap meal in Germany"—but it's worth every penny. Two minor drawbacks: the portions are so huge... And it's a shame about the overly simple ice cream flavors. Three, no less. Vanilla, chocolate, and... strawberry.

Excellent food, fast service, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The price-quality ratio is excellent! One minor drawback is that at 7 p.m., several essential salad bar ingredients were sold out and weren't replenished.

We eat there often and enjoy it. The service is always very friendly! The food is always delicious. We always reserve a table because we know it's always full. We can and will always recommend this restaurant.

The food was great, but unfortunately, the experience of paying was very unpleasant. The lady at the cashier was unfriendly and spoke condescendingly to us simply because we had accidentally left a tube of mayonnaise off the bill – even though she had handed us the bill herself. We were a large group, ate well, and left generous tips despite everything. The tone of the conversation at the end was all the more disappointing. Friendliness should also be a given when paying.

Good food for a good price. Lustige bosniak was tasty. But everything was very salty.

It turned out really nice there and the food is still just as tasty and not expensive either.

Our favorite restaurant since it was introduced in 2011 by family members. Before and after the fire, the food was still delicious, the staff and owner were friendly. If we want to be spoiled, this restaurant remains our place.

We were there with a group some time ago (at the end of April). The atmosphere was great. The service was very friendly. The food was delicious. It was already very busy, with almost all the tables taken. The food arrived 10-15 minutes after we ordered; the kitchen was very fast, which surprised us. Unfortunately, card payments are only permitted for amounts over €30, and there was nothing we could do about it. That's outdated these days and urgently needs to be changed. So we helped each other in the group, and two or three people paid on the spot, and then we had to sort out the rest among ourselves.

It was very, very tasty and also very good portions. Everyone in the basement was very polite and attentive. The only thing that was a little annoying was that it was unbearably warm in the restaurant. That would really be a dream if you can change that. Of course there were a lot of people there and they automatically made it warm, but it was almost like being in a sauna.

Super authentic food was really good, at the end a Slivovitz that was really good. I can only recommend it to everyone.

A beautiful atmosphere. With a great, changing lunchtime skate every week from 11.30 a.m. Mon-Sat: 2 menus to choose from... 3 courses each + salad from the buffet and slibowitz 14 euros per person. Wed: Schnitzel day Fri: Fish fillet Of course you can also use a normal card. Everything tasty and plentiful. For the current lunch menu....call! We will come back and recommend... If the performance continues like this, it will be a success story.

I wanted to spend a nice evening with my friend and enjoy delicious food. Can I recommend this place?... I think it's awesome. I've never been so angry that I wanted to write a Google review. The vegetarian vegetable plate consisted of frozen fries, warmed frozen vegetables, frozen croquettes, some rice which was very overcooked but still the tastiest thing on the plate and fried mushrooms which could be described as acceptable but by no means tasty. My friend's plate was 70% frozen fries, 20% onions on his steak lumberjack style, 6% meat and 4% egg. We were not offered any sauce or dips for the dishes, especially for the fries. For a total price of 43 euros, the food is a disgrace. The beautiful ambience (really, really beautiful) cannot make up for the substandard quality of the food. A clear recommendation to go to another restaurant. I can get frozen cheaper at Rewe around the corner... and I would never eat that anyway. #QualityIsEverythingAndThatWasNothing.

We had dinner with 6 people in the Europastuben restaurant on a Saturday evening. The ambience and furnishings of the restaurant are very modern and chic. The service staff were quick, friendly and always tried very hard to serve customers quickly, even when the restaurant was quite full. The food was very tasty, from baked Camembert as a starter, to funny Bosnjak and pancakes as dessert. The only point of criticism is the acoustics. Since the restaurant is quite open, your ears may ring a bit after an evening in a crowded restaurant.

Always delicious. We were there in the afternoon on Wednesday. Then it's schnitzel tag. You can choose from different schnitzels with fries and salad for 14 euros.

You have to recommend Europastuben. Everything is just right. The food is super delicious 😋
