Europa-stuben in Übach-Palenberg

We spontaneously wanted to go out for dinner here, Sunday, shortly before 4 p.m. 2/3 of the tables were empty and they couldn't give us a table because everyone comes at 5:30 p.m. - in 1.5 hours! By then we would have been gone long ago and we wouldn't have lost 4 people's sales.

I was here for the first time today. Friendly staff and good price-performance ratio. I'd love to come back 😃👋🏽

A great gastro that is second to none...modern ambience with style...very nicely renovated...coziness is the key here...friendly hosts who were really busy even at lunchtime...but the crowning glory is the Croatian and... Mediterranean cuisine with a great, varied menu...the pike perch fillet was top...the spinach potatoes were the highlight...yes...potatoes as a highlight on the plate...I wouldn't have thought that possible...but that's how it is. ..Salad is conveniently available from the buffet...plus the beer is a Bitburger Landbier fresh from the tap...and at the end of the unique menu a warm Julischka is served on the house...that's all there is to it...that's one very clear recommendation...👍

Into the fire... out of the fire! Completely renovated interior after the fire... has lost a lot of atmosphere. Quality and has fallen short. You also got Julishka 20 years ago from the previous owner... as well as the remaining Djuwek trip!

The restaurant has become very nice after the renovation. It was always one of our favorites. Unfortunately the portions have become very small. Without starters and desserts we wouldn't have been full. The quality is very good as is the service.

I liked the rustic style better. But it looks nice and cozy. I think it's great that you can also sit in the covered next room. (smoker) Food was great.

We were here again for the first time since the reopening and we are thrilled. The food is great, the service is great and the new ambience is also very nice. We ordered 6 different dishes and all of them were perfect.

Very good meal in Croatian restaurant. Typical Croatian drinks and food, cozy environment and not expensive at all. Full meal for 14 euros. I will definitely come back here.

After the renovation, modern atmosphere. Not as old-fashioned as before, but not as comfortable either. But that's a matter of opinion. The food was delicious, but the prices, like in all restaurants, were way up. The restaurant was full, so make a reservation in advance. Because the separate areas are no longer there and everything is open, this also increases the noise while eating. On the day we were there we found this disturbing as we automatically had to speak louder to be able to hear each other.

Delicious food. Good portions for a normal price and they have a good salad bar. Friendly staff, so definitely worth repeating.

We were there today for the first and last time. At least for today. Really delicious food at an excellent price. We were with 4 people and all ordered the lunch menu. Incl. DRINKS under 70 euros. Beautifully souffled schnitzel with a very good sauce. The starter soup: great. The dessert: good.

We ate today in the Europastube with friends and were treated dismissively because of our dog, even though he was sitting in a car and was registered. The fries were oversalted and the gypsy schnitzel and campion schnitzel also had a bit of a kick and the water we ordered came never to my place was not on the bill either. Unfriendlyness left a lot to be desired. There was no apology for us and our friends and acquaintances will no longer eat there.

We are always happy to be guests in this excellent restaurant.

We were back in the Europastube for the first time after the fire. Very nicely renovated and newly furnished. Although the chef didn't change, we found the food tasted better. The portions are plentiful and the service is great.

Ihre Küche war und ist einfach so gut, das man in Übach Palenberg zwingend zu Ihnen kommen muss. Selbst auch Speisen für außer Haus sind Top.

It tasted great, friendly service and a great ambience. I ordered a Jägerschnitzel, which also tasted great, but not as a Jägerschnitzel. It wasn't a typical hunter's sauce (dark), but a proprietary creation with a light sauce. She should definitely keep this, with a different name and create a real hunter's sauce to go with it. It's definitely worth eating there, again and again.

I've always enjoyed eating there, but now that the Europastube has reopened, it's also here in 2024 ;-) The renovation was very, very good for the restaurant and the menu has been improved in certain areas. The food was great as usual!

I feel very well looked after. The service is always friendly. I always like the food. The salad bar is always fresh and is quickly refilled. I would love to come.

We went there for a family dinner on Boxing Day. There wasn't a vegetarian dish on the daily menu. So my vegetarian brother-in-law asked the waiter about it and got a vegetable plate, baked potato and fried feta. Since he hardly ate anything, I asked him what was wrong with the food and he said I should try it. Well, the vegetables were more like a puree and were swimming in oil. The potato with quark was so soft that it could have been puree and the feta was extremely sour. My brother-in-law has already announced that he won't go there with us again. Honestly, I can understand him. However, my food (meat) was ok. So I don't think it's contemporary to not offer anything vegetarian or not be able to do it.

We were very satisfied. Thank you for the super delicious food on Christmas Day.

Ein sehr tolles Restaurant. Von außen sehr unscheinbar, von innen eine Wucht . Das Essen sehr sehr lecker. Wir waren mit 17 Leuten da, alle haben ihr Essen gemeinsam bekommen. Der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Jederzeit wieder gerne

Das Essen war sehr lecker und mit dem sehr netten Personal kommen wir gerne zu einem weiteren gemütlichen Abend wieder.

Guter und netter Service. Große Auswahl an Landes spezifischen Gerichten ( Kroatisch ), sowie vegetarische Gerichte und für Schnitzel Fans ist auch genügend dabei.

Hier ist der Gast ein König. Suoerfreundliche Bedienung, super Essen. Mein Mann hat das erste Mal Muscheln kroatischer Art bestellt und sagte, dass er noch nie so gute Muscheln gegessen hat. Die Menge war gigantisch. Aber eigentlich ist die Menge in diesem Restaurant immer zuviel.

Das Steak Medium war auf den Punkt genau . Die Zwiebelsuppe super lecker und der Nachtisch ein Gedicht. Nur bei den Getränken sind wir ( 18 Personen) 3x trocken gelaufen. Trotzdem jederzeit gerne wieder.

Rundum der beste Restaurantbesuch, den ich in den letzten Jahren erlebt habe. Rustikales Ambiente, sehr gemütlich, ausreichend Platz, sehr freundliches Personal und grandioses Essen! Danke!

Wir waren am Wochenende als Familie essen, obwohl das Lokal gut besucht war, kam das Essen sehr schnell. Das Fleisch war lecker und auf den Punkt gegrillt. Die Preis-Leistung war top, die Portionen waren groß und der Preis erschwinglich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Ein rundum gelungener Abend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ja, die Kroaten können es. Im Frühjahr feine Spargelkarte. Die Speisen sind lecker zubereitet, herzhaft und saftig. Fleisch auf den Punkt gegrillt. Große Portionen für den kleinen Geldbeutel. Nur die Weinauswahl ist übermäßig bescheiden. Na ja ein frisches Bier kann ebenfalls gut schmecken. Abends fast immer ausgebucht. Reservierung sollte sein. Trotz Größe fehlt es nicht an Gemütlichkeit. Das große Salatbüffet stellt auch Vegetarier zufrieden. Prösterchen und guten Appetit. Parkplätze in nächster Nähe.

Im Restaurant war es viel zu warm ! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt, aber ich fand es etwas teuer , für die vegetarische Platte … keine Soße dabei … bei der Bestellung einer Soße wurden wir doof angeguckt 🤷‍♀️ Man könnte mehr darauf achten, ob die Getränke leer sind … wir hätten weit aus mehr getrunken…

Wir waren gestern mit 4 Personen dort essen, um 18 Uhr war viel los, aber wir hatten Tisch reserviert, die Vorspeisen kamen zeitgleich und schmeckten uns , die Hauptgerichte waren wirklich reichlich und von guter Qualität, , die Steaks genau auf dem Punkt mit guter Grillnote, Cevapcici lecker gewürzt, alle vier waren wir zufrieden, wir werden wiederkommen

Positives: günstig und in 15 Minuten Bestellung fertig (wissen jetzt auch warum). Diese Beurteilungen sind entweder vom Vorbesitzer oder von Angstellten gemacht worden. Von uns 5 Erwachsenen war nur einer zufrieden und das war am Schluss mein Hund (er lebt noch Gott sei dank). Fleisch entweder noch nicht durch oder zäh, Reis halbroh, Jägersosse stank nach Plastik oder Chemikalie und schmeckte auch so. Leber waren wohl kleine Reststücke und Zigeunersosse schmeckte nach garnichts. Zu dem kam noch das beide Sossen nach Wasser schmeckten. Genau das selbe war sogar beim Salat zu finden. Habe noch nie so schlecht gegessen in 40 Jahren. Gehört geschlossen oder Koch entlassen
