Neu Kong in Darmstadt

Waren Donnerstag dort und wollten vor dem Kinobesuch eine Kleinigkeit essen. Die Auswahl der Gerichte am Buffet war eher überschaubar. Aufgrund des zeitfaktors hatten wir keine Zeit das Fondue zu testen. Dieses sah wesentlich besser aus. Die bedienung war nicht wirklich die freundlichste. Vll mal wieder, aber dann mit wesentlich mehr Zeit.

Das einzige einigermaßen authentische chinesische Restaurant In Darmstadt. Und ich rede nicht vom Buffet oder den a la carte Speisen, sondern nur vom Hot Pot! Ich würde dort nie was anderes essen!

Das Fondue und die Fleischqualität ist sehr gut. Man kann sich wie üblich zum Hot pot, selbst eine Soße mit frischen Kräutern und Knoblauch zusammen stellen. Auch gibt es typische Asiatische Salate. Die Servicekräfte sind immer sehr sehr nett und kinderfreundlich.

This is really a nice new exciting experience....lots of chinese visitors...a rich variety on the buffet...strange things like chicke leg-salad and pig-ear-salad...and the best is the fondue-Thing....incredible how nice it is to cook your meal directly on your table and all for your own....Prices...very good

Wir waren mit 4 Personen bei neu Kong zum essen. Da wir das erste mal Fondue probiert haben waren wir etwas unbeholfen die Bedienung hat uns aber geholfen und alles soweit es ging erklärt. Dannach ging es an die Theke. Die Auswahl ist sehr spärlich. Das Essen ist gefroren. Das Buffet ist sehr schlecht das Essen schmeckt als ob es schon ein paar Tage alt ist. Wir waren wirklich sehr enttäuscht.

Nicht mal diesen einen Stern wert! Die Qualität des Essens war katastrophal. Jedes Einzel Gericht, ob Krabbenchips oder Frühlingsrollen, alles grottenschlecht. Die Bedienung war sehr aufdringlich und unverständlich! Die Decken waren durch den Dampf total verschimmelt. Nie wieder!

Die Option des Hot Pot im Neu Kong hat uns gereizt. Die Auswahl am "Kaltbuffet" ist groß und authentisch. Die Suppen können in unterschiedlichen Schärfegraden bestellt werden und chinesisches Bier ist auch erhältlich. Es gibt auch eine Auswahl an Süßspeisen und ein kleines Salatbuffet. Die Bedienungen sind nicht immer sichtbar und eher unauffällig, aber bei Tisch waren sie sehr höflich. Auch preislich ist dies eine wirklich gute Alternative zum übermäßig-frittiertem Buffet im Khan.

Visited here on the recommendation of our friend in Germany, whose office colleagues use this place a lot. We were the only Caucasian people there (all the rest were orientals of various kinds) which for a Chinese restaurant I always think is a good sign. Communication was a little difficult as the waitresses were all Chinese and spoke very heavily accented German. I couldn't understand them at all, but then I only speak "tourist German", however I felt better about it when our friend, who lives in Germany and is bilingual, said that she couldn't understand much either.......! You choose the type of sauce that you want in your hotpots and then sit around a table for four, where there are three hotpots on a heater in the middle. Food is chosen from the buffet (unlimited) and cooked in the hotpot. It's a way of cooking that I hadn't come across before but it works very well indeed. This is a good place for a relatively cheap meal, although it's probably better with friends rather than as a couple.

Ik heb daar twee keer gegeten. Heerlijk buffet; bepaal zelf de soort bouillon waarin je de groenten, de vis en het vlees van je keuze aan je eigen tafel op smaak en warmte wilt brengen. (o.a pangasius, zalm, ham, lam, diverse soorten paddenstoelen, bamboescheuten, broccoli en wier). Allemaal van zeer goede kwaliteit. Sushi is goed; de gestoomde en gevulde deegwaren waren goed voorbereid. De stukjes krokante eend en gebraden rog waren gewoon lekker.

一次路過的時候發現了這家火鍋店，本以為評 分蠻高就會不錯，結果讓人大跌眼鏡。價格貴菜品不齊就不說了，我們點的紅鍋湯底居然就是白開水煮了點辣椒面和乾辣椒！天啊，作為一個吃火鍋長大的孩子，什麼樣的火鍋沒見過啊，但我都覺得這配置可以說是驚為天人了。吃到最後基本上就是在煮麵條了，不帶這樣坑人的啊，好歹你就算用亞超小肥羊底料也讓人不至於心寒啊！不能負分滾粗嗎？再見不送！

Wir waren hier zum Fondue essen. Das war soweit auch gut bzw ist Geschmacksache. Der Service war nett und freundlich und erklärt die Abläufe gut. Dann gibt es noch ein kleines Buffet, und das ist meiner Meinung nach ein no go - hier wird einfach nicht aufgefüllt, wenn man den Service darauf anspricht versichert der einem es wird aufgefüllt und dann passiert erstmal wieder nichts... Locker 15 Minuten später kommt dann wieder was nach... Schade

Waren zu dritt im neu Kong Fondue. Die Art und weise Fleisch und Gemüse zuzubereiten ist echt klasse. Sehr fettarm und doch aromatisch durch die Fonduesuppe. Das Buffet ist gut ausgestattet und wird permanent neu befüllt. Die "fertigen" Gerichte am Buffet sind nicht so der Hammer, da gibt es besseres. Das Fondue ist jedoch wirklich gut.

I have been here a couple of times and think it is excellent value for money. You can have the buffet which is great, such a good selection.

This restaurant, located on a Darmstadt corner near the central railway station (Hauptbahnhof), next to a bigger Mongolian restaurant, looks modest and is easily overlooked. Not for good reason! Having been there for lunch with two of my colleagues, the food appeared plain but tasteful. The sensation of putting the ingredients together and cooking it yourself on a little stove at your table, gives it a special atmosphere. You see what you eat, and decide how you like to have it prepared. An odd lunch event around the corner, absolutely special!

I visited this restaurant before the Chinese new year. (1)Firstly I'm angry with the service, I didn't order a drink, but they force me to order a drink. I didn't take my own drink, just don't want to drink anything. (2)Secondly I found a small slice of STEEL in the duck meat, that's terrible! What if I eat it. And the waitress take this for granted and not seriously. They said they didnt have fault, that's normal blablabla...

A really good place and good cutlural Chinese Hotpot is very delicious. It is the same taste and quality for me ☺️ I sugfest you to try it 😊
