Absolute disappointment! I'm not usually one to take the time to write a detailed Google review, but in this case, I feel compelled to. After making a reservation over the phone, we arrived at the restaurant, initially confronted by a locked entrance bearing a "Closed" sign. However, there was a group sitting outside, including the owner. At first, he barely bothered to acknowledge us, communicating with us from across the fence at the table, and only after I pointed out that we had a reservation did he let us in. As we waited for our food, two more guests arrived, greeted almost reluctantly by the owner and shown to a table not far from us. After showing the two guests to their table, he announced that, despite opening hours, he "really didn't want to work today," or at least that's what he said to the two guests next to us. The company at his regular table certainly seemed much more interesting to him than attending to his guests. Surprised by such statements from a restaurateur who clearly reluctantly serves his own guests, we were not only disappointed by his manner, but the food also left much to be desired. I consider myself a connoisseur and lover of Bulgarian cuisine and was already somewhat irritated by the rather unconventional variation of the Shopska salad with spicy peppers, olives, and antipasta that was served to us, but it wasn't bad, although you certainly can't go wrong with a salad. The main courses, on the other hand, were definitely not worth the money. The kavarma was absolutely unsatisfying and shouldn't have had that name, and the meat from the grill was far too dry and nothing special. All in all, disappointing for someone who wants to market themselves as an authentic Bulgarian restaurant. The crowning conclusion of the evening came when it came to paying: Since I wasn't willing to leave a tip due to the poor service and the subpar food, I insisted on getting my full change back. The bill totaled €93.40, and I paid with €100. Annoyed that I didn't leave a tip, the owner pulled a wad of bills out of his pocket and said in an arrogant tone, "I don't have any change," and deliberately gave me €10, which was too much change. Apparently, this man thinks he can impress someone by pulling a wad of bills out of his pocket. Amused by his bad behavior, I left him his €3.40 in coins on the table and left. I've never experienced anything like it. The only positive thing: The restaurant itself is nicely decorated.

An all-round successful visit to the restaurant. The atmosphere is very appealing, the innkeeper is super nice, attentive and service-oriented. An absolute highlight was the food - great portions and super tasty. We would like to come back very soon.

I politely asked for a table for 3 people and 3 small dogs. The landlord rudely turned us down and pointed out his great carpets, which he would never get clean and refused to entertain us. Bulgarian hospitality (as I know it) doesn't exist here. We then had a delicious meal in the neighborhood. Also quite dingy from the outside, matching the interior.

This restaurant shouldn't be really full when you visit, otherwise there will be horrendous waiting times for food and drink.

The facility impresses with its surprising and original decoration. Many a Bulgarian vacation to the Black Sea comes to mind. Just got out of the restaurant, full and very satisfied. As long-time holidaymakers in Bulgaria, we were not disappointed. The ambience is absolutely authentic, good drinks, especially the schnapps. Rakia always works. The lamb chops were tender and juicy, and the mixed grill plate was also very good. There was no room for dessert, but we'll definitely be back. At the end of our Christmas party, my colleagues and I went to the Nessebar Restaurant yesterday. We all really enjoyed it here. Great ambience, super friendly and funny service. We had different dishes that all tasted delicious and were well prepared. It was a successful conclusion. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a cozy and delicious meal.

We ended our company Christmas party in Nessebar. Great service, very cozy with imaginative decoration. Food great, portion sizes suitable for men's stomachs. The MUST in a Bulgarian kitchen should be highlighted: the Shopska tomato salad with a good portion of cheese! Decent size. Prices are definitely reasonable. Would definitely recommend again at any time.

The menu features selected dishes that wonderfully convey the Bulgarian flair. So you don't get overwhelmed by a jumble of food :) The atmosphere is super rustic and decorated with love down to the last detail. The whole restaurant is beautifully decorated, especially at Christmas time. The staff is very friendly and you can have interesting conversations with them. Anyone who expects dishes to cost less than €10 is of course in the wrong place, but the prices are really fair!
