Beware of hidden surcharges! (Scam) The food was okay, but when we paid, a 10% gratuity was automatically added to the bill without any warning – and this wasn't mentioned anywhere, not even when my colleagues unknowingly added an additional tip. We only received a full receipt upon request. Only after prolonged follow-up and discussion was the extra tip finally refunded. The attempt to "make up for it" with a bottle of spirits before even acknowledging the problem was completely inappropriate. When the suggestion that the price was too high is met with a "let's make a deal," it doesn't seem like a one-time oversight. At least the waiter eventually admitted that he "messed up" – and after further questioning, acknowledged that the whole thing wasn't accidental. Enclosed is the receipt we subsequently received with the "automatic 10%," as well as the payment receipt I received when paying.

Food was quite good, but they didn’t bring us the check and they “mistakenly” added an automatic tip without telling us anything, we paid adding the usual tip of 10%, and then we checked again on the menu and realized the price were topped up. NEVER SEEN AN AUTOMATIC TIP ADDED TO THE BILL IN GERMANY, and I have been living here 7 years. So this was no mistake. Plus when we showed them the fact, the answer was “oh okay I’ll make you a deal and offer you a drink”, which is also no way to handle such a complaint.

Food is alright, but the waiter applied a hidden ''automatic Trinkgeld of 10%'', and gladly accepted our regular Trinkgeld of 10% without mentioning the automatic one. Had to argue to get our tip money back, while the manager sneakily smiled at us the whole time. Would not specially recommend the food, but if you come there, check your bill.

Food was acceptable, but if you’re a foreign visitor, beware as we were overcharged and scammed. The waiter added unknown 10% ‚trinkgeld’ charge to the bill and then asked us for tips. Photo attached of bill.

Good brewery with regional and national dishes 7nd drinks in typical brewery quality. It was very busy that evening so you should reserve a table. Service was very friendly, although there was a bit of a wait as it was busy. Furnishings modern and comfortable. Tables and benches are a little higher, which makes it a little more difficult to sit down if you are physically limited. I'd love to come back.

In addition to the spaces on the ground floor, the Nesenbach also has rooms on the upper floor that can also be reserved for celebrations. We were here upstairs for a birthday with almost 10 people - the service was prompt and very friendly. Drinks and food were served quickly and quickly, everyone received their food at the same time. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. Sometimes you had to add a little more seasoning, but it was better that way. Overall, a well-rounded dining experience in a beautiful, modern tavern ambience. As is typical for a tavern, it is also quite loud. In summer you can also sit outside. Recommendation 👍🏻

Great spot for German food. The atmosphere was open, airy and fun. The waiters were friendly and helpful. The menus were not pre-translated but Google lens helped. The salad, Wiener schnitzel and pumpkin risotto were excellent. Large portions so sharing may be considered.

I celebrated my birthday with brunch at Nesenbach. There were 37 of us and we had the beautiful large room on the first floor at our own disposal. Everything was perfect! Starting with the great organization by Ms. Angrisani. She always replied to my emails immediately and answered all questions promptly. Very attentive service during the celebration, great buffet. Nothing was missing and it was a successful event. All of my guests praised this extraordinary location! We would love to come back and can warmly recommend the Nesenbach for a larger celebration!

Very good breakfast and sufficient

I give this concept of the place 5 stars, very cozy, just really cool lighting, really cool location. I'm a vegetarian, I ordered a Halumi Burger here, a fairly large portion! many traditional dishes, also a large selection for vegetarians.

Very nice brewery in a modern style. You get delicious, brewery-typical food. The prices are completely reasonable and there is plenty of choice. It should be emphasized that there are also vegetarian dishes and these are explicitly highlighted with a symbol in the menu. The service also does a good job and you get your food quickly. Clear recommendation!

Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Wirtshausplatte für zwei zum Brunch war sehr appetitlich angerichtet und für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Sehr angenehm fand ich auch, dass man nicht von lauter Hintergrundmusik beschallt wird. 

Even though we didn't have a reservation on a Saturday evening, we found a spot immediately. The Maultaschen were delicious. The spaetzle was also very tasty. However, the waiter could have been a little friendlier. A smile costs nothing, but it is worth a lot.

Tasty and friendly, gladly again

Visited my old home again after 6 months. A visit to the brewery is mandatory. The onion roast was phenomenal. The sauce is a dream. Add spaetzle, of course. My wife ordered Maultaschen with potato salad and sauce. Also very well done. Plus a dark wheat beer. Big compliments to the kitchen and the service!!!

Wiener Schnitzel is a clear recommendation. Price performance fits (27€) I thought Maultaschen and meatballs in the Swabian plate were so nice. More salad and side dishes than a main course is a little too much for me for almost €22. Von mir gibt es für das Nesenbach ausschließlich die höchste Bewertung. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen lecker und einfallsreich von Rezept und Optik her. Es ist eigentlich immer sehr gut besetzt (gutes Zeichen), aber man kriegt hier dennoch meist noch einen Platz, weil das Restaurant die Organisation im Griff hat. Und Last Not lädt: die Preise sind fair. Schöne Abwechslung zu so manch anderen Restaurants!

The Nesenbach Brauhaus & event location in Stuttgart is absolutely recommended. I would particularly like to highlight the Emila Bowl, simply delicious. The ingredients were fresh and harmoniously balanced. There was also a refreshing elderberry spritzer that went perfectly with it. If you are looking for a great culinary experience in Stuttgart, you should definitely stop by here. I'll definitely come back.

Very fun lunch but a little expensive

I was there with friends some time ago and asked via email whether there was an option to turn one of the vegetarian options into a vegan one. I was told by email that this was possible. However, the condition was very confused when asked again whether it was actually without animal products. I'm sorry, but anyone who works in the catering industry these days unfortunately really can't avoid learning what alternative diets are all about, especially in larger cities. The taste of the food was okay.

Service und Essen wieder einmal spitze. Das Essen kommt sehr schnell, das Personal ist wirklich super freundlich. Wenn sich größere Gruppen treffen, kann eine Unterhaltung auch mal etwas mühsam werden. Wir kommen aber immer gerne wieder !

Es gibt mehrere Gründe, immer wieder ins "Nesenbach" zurückzukehren: Es gibt dort einen zackigen Service, deftige Küche und vor allem "Augustiner Edelstoff" vom Fass! Wir wissen also, was uns dort erwartet und es ist wie eine Rückkehr nach Hause. Wenn man das "Nesenbach" betritt, hat man schon den Duft von Kraut, Sauce und Bier in der Nase! Uns gefällt das. Es ist auch ein interessantes, gemischtes Publikum hier: Alt und jung, VfB-Fans, Männerrunden, Frauenrunden, Schicki-Micki und Normalos. So schnell, wie das Fassbier auf dem Tisch steht, kann man nicht gucken! Die Speisekarte bietet Einiges, darunter viel Deftiges, Hausmannskost, Brauhaus eben. Aber es gibt auch Feines und Süßes. Unser Kellner war wieder fix und sehr effizient unterwegs. Das kennen wir nicht anders im "Nesenbach". Mein Zwiebelrostbraten war ein Traum, medium gebraten, die Portion genau richtig. Das sogenannte "Bürgermeisterstück" meines Sohnes sah zwar gut aus, hatte tolle Beilagen, aber das Stück Fleisch war für ein Mannsbild einfach zu klein. Die Reklamation wurde - wie so oft- mit einem Schnaps besänftigt.

Unsere Erfahrung war sehr schlecht. Es betrifft jedoch die Orga. Über die Qualität können wir leider nichts bewerten. Über OpenTable haben wir für den 01.11. eine Reservierung vorgenommen, welche uns auch per Mail bestätigt wurde. Als wir dann nach Stuttgart gefahren sind, mussten wir feststellen, dass das Restaurant geschlossen war. Dies war sehr ärgerlich, da alle anderen Restaurants in der der Nähe voll waren und wir um 20:00 Uhr einen Veranstaltungstermin hatten. Wir können daher Open Table absolut nicht weiterempfehlen.

Leider wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt dass die Küche um 22 Uhr zu macht, wir hätten gerne noch einen Nachtisch bestellt....Ansonsten alles Prima

Very nice place to eat - a little bit noisy but food and drinks were good. Typically you get food very fast so it’s not the place to sit for long time.

Wir waren zu viert an einem Do Abend dort im 1. OG. Es war nicht sehr voll. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und Getränke und Essen kamen schnell. Auswahl fanden wir einem Wirtshaus entsprechend. Wahrscheinlich alles Convenience, aber hat gut geschmeckt. Für einen After Work Abend oder Geschäftsessen gut geeignet.

Very competent staff even though we were a group of 46 people, they managed it really well.

Not that delicious to me actually. The waiter seems do not want to serve us. The next table people helped us to let the waiter come to our table. I do not think i will go there again.

Although the ambience is inviting, everything else is less or not at all recommended. Very moody waiters, the mixed salad for €4 (as of 2021) is a bad joke and all the dishes eaten leave a lot to be desired in terms of taste.

Vino para un breve almuerzo mientras hacía turismo. Marido tenía una hamburguesa de queso que era muy sabroso, el bollo brioche era increíblemente delicioso. Tenía los ñoquis especiales de calabaza que eran una porción enorme e innegablemente frescos. Estoy muy contento de que el restaurante defienda tan bien los ingredientes de temporada.

I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately my experience was anything but positive. The service was inattentive. When the food finally came, it was lukewarm and rather disappointing in taste. The ambience was also unpleasant. Overall, the price-performance ratio was poor. I definitely won't visit this restaurant again.

This nice restaurant/bar located in the city center of Stuttgart offers excellent food. Personally, I recommend the chanterelle soup, accompanied by the blonde Teutonic nectar, an excellent Augustiner Brau München beer. Fast service, and a good atmosphere complete the picture.

The food is beautifully presented, but in the case of my burger, for example, the quality of the patty was subpar and some of the potato wedges were burnt. The vegetable bowl tasted good, but the price was comparatively high and the portion could have been larger. For me the overall price/performance is simply not right!

I was here today for the European Championship game between Germany and Hungary. It was really very comfortable. A great atmosphere even though I sat outside and watched. The service was always super friendly. I had a lava cake and an elderberry/mint drink. Both were really very tasty. Prices are okay. Thank you!

Waitress was so rude. When we asked for the menu his face was like he is in pain. I think the reason is that we foreigner. We are so lucky that beer glasses were not thrown to us. There is not even one English menu. We could not feel relaxed and enjoyed. Lastly my beer was not brought as I ordered. He did not even listen to me. Just typical German low level restaurant where tourists are not welcome.
