The food tastes very good and the service is quick and friendly. The interior design hasn't really changed in the last 20 years and everything always seems very dark. But that's the only point of criticism! If you appreciate delicious Greek food, this is the right place.

Not only does it smell delicious, it tastes delicious too. Just the right portion size for us. Crispy gyros and still juicy. Super. It is heartily seasoned in typical Greek style. The garlic potato idea is brilliant. Exactly our case. Due to the street, the noise level is a little higher, but still comfortable. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. We'll definitely be back soon.

We thought it was ok there. Food good, service too. Our favorite Greek tempts us more, but it was nice there. Fits.

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. We had a lovely evening there and it is highly recommended to reserve a table in advance for the evening as it is rightly very busy here. The cost for two people is also okay, we paid €20-30 per person with starters and drinks.

Today on the way back from our holiday in Italy to the Netherlands, we left the highway due to a traffic jam and went to Nepheli for lunch. We were received in the Greek way, warm, friendly and hospitable. The food was delicious and according to my wife she ate the best moussaka she has ever had and she has tasted many. We enjoyed it immensely and felt like we were in Greece for a moment and enjoyed the food and the friendliness. Sorry for Ajax's victory over Panathinaikos, but thank you for the great experience this afternoon and have a nice holiday! Greetings from the Netherlands!

A lovely Greek restaurant with a sumptuous menu and a very attentive and friendly service staff. We have eaten there three times since January 2024. But the food was only tasty on the first visit. The second time (April 27th) there was a fair in Rheinbach and the restaurant was packed. It can happen that with such a rush the quality and temperature fall by the wayside and is not overrated. On August 8th, 2024 we were there again on the occasion of our wedding anniversary and this time the quality of the food wasn't even fast food standard. The lamb was 80 percent fat and we didn't eat it. The factual criticism was taken seriously and a drink or dessert was offered, but we decided not to. The very friendly waiter also pointed out that it is best to point out any quality defects immediately. Then, without any ifs or buts, the dish will be served again or an equivalent replacement will be provided. But since people were served and eaten at the tables next to us, we didn't want to cause any disturbance. Maybe it was misplaced consideration. The staff and service can definitely be rated 5 stars. We know the food from Nepheli much better. But we will still come back because the service, ambience and the price structure are right.. Sorry, but it wasn't enough for a total 5 stars this time.

Long-time customer. Disappointed today. Better not to eat it off the grill. Silver skin was not removed. The complaint was dismissed by the chef with the words 15 men had not complained. Liver no longer needs to be there

Despite the full house, the staff was friendly and attentive. The dishes came quite quickly and the food was excellent. Definitely a recommendation!

Quaint and cozy restaurant. The chairs were a little uncomfortable. But the food was very good. Huge, very tasty portion with a salad beforehand. The service was always super attentive, friendly and quick. Drinks and food came quickly. We had a lovely evening.

I would like to highlight the excellent service - all the waiters are very nice, polite and friendly, always ready to help. As for food, here you will find excellent dishes of fish, beef and lamb. A very good place for friendly and family meetings.

The food is really good here, have tried many dishes and have never been disappointed. The prices are also reasonable, most dishes come with a salad, which unfortunately has to be paid extra in most restaurants these days. It is advisable to make reservations as there is a lot going on, especially in the evenings and on weekends.

We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Price/performance is right. The dishes are beautifully presented and the portion sizes are great. The team is super friendly, quick and you can even exchange a few nice words. We enjoy coming to this restaurant regularly.

Been here for the first time. Since the moussaka was unfortunately out, we had turkey schnitzel with Metaxa sauce. The sauce was great 👍🏾

The meat is excellent. The potatoes give the impression of a finished product. Still very busy, which certainly doesn't make it easy for service. But overall positive.

First of all, the food was good and the time between placing the order and being served was quite short for a Saturday evening when the restaurant was full. Unfortunately, the service needs improvement: There were five of us and after the first order we weren't even asked if anyone wanted anything else. There was also very little space on the table for five people, and not taking empty glasses with us didn't improve the situation. Originally reserved for 6, the 6th person canceled at short notice. When this was noticed, we were not exactly politely urged to change tables because we still needed it; We had already received the cards and were already choosing. My personal negative highlight was the gentleman who welcomed us: he actually felt unable to communicate with me as a woman.

We have been there several times and have never been disappointed. Always delicious food and very nice service.

It was a delicious and pleasant evening.

So the five of us came in and we were greeted. First question, have you made a reservation? Yes. Then we were taken to the square. We had enough time to choose, we asked twice. When asked about the change, there was a funny conversation. I received my meal without the olives :) thanks to the chef. In my opinion, the course sequence was exactly right. The food was sufficient and very tasty. We will come back :)

Sehr leckeres Essen und überaus freundlicher Service. Wir kommen wieder.

De beilage salat was beslist niet knapperig en de ijsthee was lauw, het hoofdgerecht verdronk in de saus, wat wel smaakte was het desert, griekse yoghurt met noten, maar dat mag dan ook wel voor 8:80€.

Die Warmgericht waren sehr gut und schmackhaft leider war der Bauernsalat für fast 16 Euro sehr übersichtlich was sehr schade war.

Super nettes Personal, sehr leckeres Essen, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, sehr nettes Ambiente. Bei voller Auslastung schon Recht laut und im hinteren Bereich ist es Winter wie Sommer schon sehr warm, also lieber was luftiger anziehen.

Essen war super, Service darf sich gerne verbessern. Besonders was Getränke angeht, wartet man zu lange . Meist bleibt es nur bei einem Getränk.

Einzigartiges und authentisches leckeres griechisches Essen, Kellner sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Portionen sind super groß, man wird mehr als satt. Die Atmosphäre ist eine Wucht, man fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl und gut aufgehoben, so muss ein Besuch bei einem Griechen sein, man sollte satt, zufrieden und glücklich wieder nach Hause fahren. Vielen Dank für den gemütlichen, unvergesslichen und schönen Abend, wir kommen mit Sicherheit nochmal wieder.

Tolles Essen mit einem Spitzenservice.

Essen war super, das einzige daran was mich gestört hat waren die Dosenpilze in der Sauce, da ich aber Weihnachten dort essen war, ist da denke ich mal deswegen. Die Wartezeit zwischen den Gängen hatte ruhig etwas länger sein können. Die Stühle waren unbequem am Rücken, nicht gemacht um lange zu sitzen . Mein Lammlach war schön zart gebraten, genau richtig. ;)

Waren zum ersten und letzten Mal dort essen. Stress Essen ,Vorspeisen Teller waren gerade weggeräumt da kam schon der Salat und Hauptgericht. So schnell ,das man nichts davon genießen konnte . Hektische Atmosphäre, dunkle Räumlichkeiten . Sehr schade

Das Essen war superlecker, jedoch an Beilagen für mich ein bisschen zu wenig. Das Personal sehr nett und geduldig. Auch wenn kein Tisch reserviert wurde, wozu ich jedoch rate, besteht oft die Möglichkeit noch einen Tisch zu bekommen. Hunde mitzubringen ist auch kein Problem.

Alles Super, leider schockte mich ein wenig der Preis für etwas extra Tzaziki(Siehe Bild).

Das Nepheli ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert.

Es ist immer wieder schön dort zu sitzen. Die Tische alle mit Stoff eingedeckt. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Es herrscht eine positive gute Stimmung im ganzen Lokal Das Essen wird fast zur Nebensache. Es schmeckt gut und auch grosse Tische erhalten das Essen gleichzeitig. Der ganze Gastraum voll.

Alles bestens, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend,leckeres Essen, angemessene Preise. Einziges Manko: keine behindertenfreundliche Toilette, viele Treppen

Spontan mit drei Personen hingegangen und trotz, dass es so voll war einen Platz bekommen ohne Probleme. Das Essen war wie immer super lecker. 😋

Hervorragender Service (Kellner sind sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein) und wir mussten noch nie lange warten (weder bis wir bestellen konnten noch bis das Essen da war)egal wie gut es besucht war. Das Essen hat uns bisher auch immer wirklich gut geschmeckt. Auch der Umgang mit Kindern ist toll! Wir werden immer gerne wiederkommen!

Sehr leckeres Essen in klassischem Ambiente, wie man es von anderem Griechen kennt. Die Karte führt viele Gerichte, fast etwas zu viel, aber solang die Qualität stimmt, spielt das nur eine Nebenrolle. Die Qual der Wahl hatte ich auf jeden Fall :)

Freundlicher Empfang, wir bekamen sofort einen Tisch, obwohl das Restaurant gut besucht war. Das Essen war zügig am Tisch und lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es gibt 2-3 vegane und auch vegetarische Gerichte, aber meines schmeckte gar nicht. Gemüse und Schafskäse waren paniert bzw. in Teig getunkt und in der Friteuse ertränkt worden. So kocht jemand, der eigentlich auf Fleischgerichte eingestellt ist. Die Mussaka schmeckte meiner Begleitung auch nur durchschnittlich. Leider erlaubten die Betreiber zudem einem ( alten VIP Stammgast?) Mann im vorderen Restaurantbereich das Zigarettenrauchen - igitt- solche Ignoranz geht gar nicht! schade

Sehr leckeres, qualitativ wertiges Essen. Nettes Personal. Der Preis ist für die Portionsgröße angemessen (25 Euro pro Person inkl. Getränk und Vorspeise). Mussten sogar was einpacken lassen 🤭

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit schneller und freundlicher Bedienung. Das Essen dort ist auch sehr lecker. Man muss nicht lange auf das Essen warten, ging recht flott, trotz vieler Gäste. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir sind schon häufig im Restaurant Nepheli gewesen, aber bei unserem letzten Besuch haben wir eine merkliche Verbesserung festgestellt, die unsere Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Der Service war zuvorkommend und äußerst schnell, was den Abend noch angenehmer gemacht hat als bisher. Die Kinderfreundlichkeit ist weiterhin ein großer Pluspunkt. Unsere Kinder erhielten unmittelbar nach der Ankunft Malutensilien, und als besonderes Highlight gab es für sie vor dem Bezahlen der Rechnung sogar ein Eis aufs Haus. Die Qualität der Speisen hat sich weiter gesteigert und war einfach herausragend. Alles schmeckte frisch und authentisch. Wir können das Nepheli wärmstens empfehlen und werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen. Es ist nicht gerade günstig aber das ist es auch Wert. Ein richtiges Restaurant mit gutem essen ist halt keine Imbissbude mit Gyros Pita für 4,50. Ich komme immer wieder gerne hier hin. Die Knoblauch Kartoffeln sind mega. Das einzige was nicht ganz so gut ist, ist der Gyros 🤷🏻‍♂️ alles andere ist echt lecker.

Wir haben aufgrund der Pandemie das Essen abgeholt, ich kann das Lokal und den Service somit nicht bewerten. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet! Alles war schmackhaft, gut gewürzt und nicht zu fettig. Alles schmeckte genauso gut als wäre man direkt in Griechenland :-) Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir waren mit 7 Personen im Nepheli zum Abendessen. Es hat allen gut geschmeckt, die Kinderteller waren riesig und auch den Erwachsenen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir werden bestimmt gern wiederkommen und das Restaurant auch im Freundeskreis weiterempfehlen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich und trotz vieler Gäste war der Service sehr freundlich.

Wir waren mit der Familie abends im Nepheli essen und alle sehr zufrieden.wir hatten alle verschiedene Gerichte und keiner war enttäuscht. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig, der Service sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre war auch sehr gemütlich. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas und das Preis-Leistungssverhältnis stimmt absolut. Günstige Lage, man kann schräg gegenüber auf einem großen Parkplatz parken und muss nur durch eine kleine Unterführung gehen.

Sie sind Fachleute und das merkt man.Die Einrichtung ist auch gemütlich und die Akustik sehr angenehm.

das Nephelis war für mich früher ein Garant für guten Service, Gastfreundschaft und Gemütlichkeit. Uns ist schon in der letzten Zeit aufgefallen, das Restaurant plötzlich unter einer erheblichen Personalfluktuation leidet. Das Essen hat sich ebenfalls verändert. Heute war das Lokal nicht mehr in der Lage Pommes oder Bratkartoffel als Beilage zu liefern(siehe übrigens Kommentar 3Wochen vorher)! Reis habe ich abgelehnt. Kompensation gab es keine. DDR läßt grüßen. Gewinnoptimierung kann auch nach hinten los gehen. Ich komme nicht mehr.

Man wartet sehr lange auf sein Essen und wird leider nicht mit freundlichen Kellnern vertröstet. Auf Sonderwünsche wie Majo wird nicht eingegangen... Das Essen ist in Ordnung aber nicht überdurchschnittlich gut.

The food in general was really god but everything had a loooooot of garlic on! Unfortunately they do not have Pita bread on the menu which is something I expect in every greek restaurant. The gyros itself was good and a biiiiig plate full of it :) My boyfriend loved the potatoes - I think they were plain fried potatoe chips.

The food is solid and has flavour, but its far away from being light. However, the service is really nice and pleasant and even heavy, the food tastes good. Not first choice, but once a while.

I was very pleased when I saw a greek restaurant, but very disappointed after I left. I ordered a Shrimp Saganaki witch is a very simple to do dish, consisting of boiled shrimps with a feta and tomato sauce. What I got was a dish made from a layer of feta, a layer of Swiss cheese (why ?!) 5 tiny shrimp and a table spoon of ketchup. This is not what saganaki is. Also because of the melted swiss cheese, the dish was very oily and very heavy on the stomach. The good parts: free ouzo like in Greece, and friendly staff. Will I go there ever again? No.

Its a solid German-Greech restaurant with very nice waiter, but the food has a huge German impact and its not authenic food. On the other hand it is still very good food. The only thing that bother me is that most of the dishes had a fatty cream sauce, which kills lot of flavor and is simply heavy.
