We ate with five people. The quality of the meat for two people was too dry; it tasted like it had been reheated. The vegetarian dish was thickly breaded. I could only guess at the taste of the vegetables and feta cheese. The fish dish was okay. Prices: an additional portion of tzatziki (about 3 tablespoons) was €6.50, as was a 0.7-liter bottle of water for €6.50. I feel the price-performance ratio here is absolutely not right. What a shame.

Very tasty, well-seasoned dishes. The garlic potatoes are excellent. Today, our three guests weren't served any more at 2 p.m., even though the restaurant is open until 2:30 p.m.

Super kid-friendly restaurant. The children's menus, for example, are colorable, and these, along with the necessary crayons, are already on the table. There's also a diaper changing room, and the children were given a "kinderschnaps" (soda), while the adults received the typical ouzo (free). When I wanted to order dessert for the children, the waitress had already ordered ice cream for them from the kitchen (free, one scoop with sprinkles). The waitresses were also very friendly and accommodating, and the drinks and food arrived very quickly without long waits. The portions are generous and truly delicious. The prices for the dishes (depending on what you want) range from €20-30, although there are also dishes available for less or more. But in 2025, and given everything that's happened in recent years (inflation, rising food prices, COVID-19, etc.), I think that's absolutely fine. We'll definitely go back!

We stopped here spontaneously for dinner while passing through and were absolutely thrilled. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and George, in particular, took great care of us. 1. Ambience The restaurant's ambience was clearly characterized by a clichéd, over-the-top style, reminiscent of a kitschy interpretation of Greek culture rather than an authentic, tasteful concept. The decor seemed cheap and over-the-top, which greatly detracted from the overall impression. Additionally, the entire restaurant had an unpleasant atmosphere, which further detracted from the experience. 2. Service The service was friendly and professional. All processes ran smoothly, and the usual standards were maintained. The spontaneous gesture of a round of ouzo was particularly positive, adding a brief, pleasant touch to the evening. Overall, the service fulfilled its task satisfactorily without standing out in any particular way. 3. Food The culinary experience fell short of expectations. The mixed grill was acceptable, but lacked any particular refinement. The so-called "garlic fried potatoes" were disappointing, turning out to be simple deep-fried potatoes sprinkled with garlic powder – a lackluster attempt at a classic dish. The fish was also decent in terms of taste, but didn't justify the high price. Overall, the quality of the food was significantly lower than its simplicity, especially given the high price. Many of the dishes were also very fatty and left a noticeable impact on one's well-being after eating. Dessert was deliberately omitted because the selection was unappealing. Addendum to the original review – Reaction to the owner's response First of all, it is unfortunate that the owner, instead of engaging objectively with the criticisms raised, takes a personal stance. A professional approach to feedback is characterized not by personal disparagement, but by a willingness to engage in dialogue – especially in the hospitality industry. Regarding the statement that the art objects "all came from Greece": This statement does not change the central point of criticism – the cheap, kitschy appearance of the decor. Whether the objects actually originate from Greece or not is secondary if they are not visually and qualitatively convincing. Our assessment is not based on mere taste, but on extensive experience with gastronomic establishments – including many Greek restaurants of varying quality. The materials and finishes used consistently appeared inferior and by no means like authentically curated Greek art or decorative objects. We therefore fully stand behind our assessment: The design appears overly opulent, inauthentic, and in no way high-quality. The credibility suffers not because of our review, but rather because of the business's handling of criticism. Anyone who seriously wants to develop should also reflect on uncomfortable feedback with professionalism. Additional note: It is also worth mentioning that the owner not only responded to our review with personal remarks, but also to numerous other critical reviews in a noticeably irritated and irrelevant manner. For example, a guest who expressed his displeasure at being asked to leave the restaurant with his dog was also confronted with a personal counterattack. This repeated behavior unfortunately leads to the conclusion that there is no real ability to accept criticism and that professional distance is lacking – a behavior that does not do justice to a reputable restaurant business.

An absolutely first-class restaurant that leaves nothing to be desired. A warm welcome from the staff and especially from the owners. The selection of dishes is unique, the food is extremely tasty and the portions are generous. We first visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from friends, and have since returned frequently with friends. Everyone was delighted.

We were on our way back home and there was a traffic jam, because we had to eat anyway and we were really looking forward to Greek, we found this restaurant. The bifteke with Mediterranean vegetables and fried potato slices are highly recommended. Our dog was calm and did well. Glad he was welcome too.

Not dog friendly – ​​disappointing! Despite previously confirming over the phone that our dog was welcome, we were thrown out of the restaurant when we ordered drinks because our 8-month-old puppy was a little restless at first - before he calmed down and went to sleep. The boss stared at us across the room and said nothing at first - only when asked did he rudely say we should leave. The reason he gave was that he couldn't guarantee that our dog would stay quiet, as there was still a table with two children present - who were loud themselves and obviously didn't feel disturbed. Very unpleasant atmosphere - absolutely not recommended for dog owners.

Customers who have been there for years have now given us a young dog, but unfortunately they were no longer welcome because the dog made its presence felt. The restaurant was empty except for one family including two audible children. Unfortunately we were thrown out by the boss in a very unfriendly manner. Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be.

I have since had to correct my bad review from 2 years ago. The food finally has the quality that we were used to before. The service is now once again a well-rehearsed, friendly and attentive team. (Unfortunately this wasn't the case at all at times) Price performance is, as always, absolutely fine. If you want Greek, you can definitely get it here too. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right. For the quality (which is okay in itself), I personally think the prices are now shockingly high. Unfortunately it's no longer worth it for us. But the waiters are all nice and hard-working. We didn't have to wait long for anything and someone was always there quickly.

Unfortunately we were probably unlucky. There were five of us eating and two of the five meals came so late that the others had almost finished eating. (after a long wait they asked them to start). Food wasn't quite hot... well, the shop was quite full... They also didn't ask if you wanted something to drink. That's why we left earlier than planned and skipped dessert etc. Will probably go somewhere else next time...

Unfortunately, the chop pieces were generously covered with silver skin and also with tendons. The accompanying vegetables could hardly be distinguished from the sauce and were overcooked. The entire meal does not follow the tradition of the cuisine of the past. I can compare that because I lived in Rheinbach myself for 30 years and was often there with guests. The only thing that was fresh was the salad and the French fries were also cooked. The positive thing about the visit was that I didn't have to pay for the food. I am very disappointed with the quality and wish you luck with these experiences in the future.

Zunächst ist der sehr herzliche Empfang in dem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Restaurant aufgefallen. Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Über Geschmack lässt sich streiten, aber soviel Lob über die verschiedensten Gerichte (Anrichten der Speisen, Geschmack, Menge) haben meine Frau und ich selten seitens unserer Famile gehört. Hervorzuheben ist auch das Personal: sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich, aufmerksam. Der Inhaberfamilie ist zu diesem hervorragenden Restaurant zu gratulieren. Heinrich

Finding a good Greek restaurant is not that easy. After the Armonia in Bonn changed hands a few years ago, we were looking for an alternative and found it here. The appetizer platter alone was a revelation. The Napheli doesn't quite match the previous Armonia in terms of quality, but it is a good replacement.

A lovely Greek restaurant with a sumptuous menu and a very attentive and friendly service staff. We have eaten there three times since January 2024. But the food was only tasty on the first visit. The second time (April 27th) there was a fair in Rheinbach and the restaurant was packed. It can happen that with such a rush the quality and temperature fall by the wayside and is not overrated. On August 8th, 2024 we were there again on the occasion of our wedding anniversary and this time the quality of the food wasn't even fast food standard. The lamb was 80 percent fat and we didn't eat it. The factual criticism was taken seriously and a drink or dessert was offered, but we decided not to. The very friendly waiter also pointed out that it is best to point out any quality defects immediately. Then, without any ifs or buts, the dish will be served again or an equivalent replacement will be provided. But since people were served and eaten at the tables next to us, we didn't want to cause any disturbance. Maybe it was misplaced consideration. The staff and service can definitely be rated 5 stars. We know the food from Nepheli much better. But we will still come back because the service, ambience and the price structure are right.. Sorry, but it wasn't enough for a total 5 stars this time.

The food is really good here, have tried many dishes and have never been disappointed.
