For the price, the breakfast wasn't that good

We visited at the weekend and were assigned a nice table despite making a reservation at short notice. Hospitality is very important to Neni, all the waiters made an extraordinary effort and were able to give good, professional advice on all dishes and drinks. Even for us as vegans, the selection was large and our needs were met perfectly. In terms of price, we would rate the NENI in the upper midfield, but this is definitely reflected in the quality and taste of the food. Above all, however, the focus is on the guest and you can tell that the trained employees do everything they can to ensure a pleasant and relaxed stay in the restaurant. Passionate gastronomy is still practiced here. The only criticism we noticed was the noise in the restaurant. You had to talk louder to hear your partner at the table. However, due to the size and layout, this is also difficult to trade. We'll definitely be back.

Very tasty food! The 3-course option is definitely recommended, as you get different options if you cannot choose yourself. Definitely recommended if you are in Cologne. You just have to book in advance.

We had a wonderful evening with culinary delights! The Sympathetic Chaos Ballagan was fantastic and plentiful. Our special praise goes to Wei-Ho, who was very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back!

Nice place, nice view. Food is a little overpriced and always takes long to cook. Not really child friendly. I recommend comming for lunch than for dinner.. As it gets too crowded and noisy at that time.

There were eight of us there. Water was forgotten, wine was forgotten. After asking the head waiter to try a little harder, there was a slight improvement. When the drinks were empty, you weren't asked if you wanted new ones. Time until the starter 1:15 hours. Chairs not very comfortable. Overall, not a great experience. Food was ok.

The Neni in Cologne - excellent food and the view is very nice :) Unfortunately, the service was only half-hearted - it felt like no one wanted to serve us. Nevertheless, we would always come back.

Very attentive and nice service. Some speak english only. Bit very kind and pleasant. Food was quite good, but not better than in any decent libanese/levantine/istaeli restuarant. The bread was dry and old. They gave out free bread and Labneh with oil as a starter. But the bread was about 3 cm thick and very dry. This option was shared by the entire group of 5. The Pita bread was not so good as well, but it was OK. Meals were brought in time and looked well and appetising. Quite expensive though at about 25 €/main course... Water flatrate for 4 €/person

The restaurant is a real insider tip in Cologne!!! The food is a pure taste explosion. We tried several dishes, starter, main course and dessert. We felt like we were on vacation, for a moment we were transported into another world. We can highly recommend the restaurant. The women who served us were all super nice! Everything extremely clean. The view is fantastic. My wife was very positively surprised that feminine hygiene products for the cycle are available in the women's sanitary area! This is very exemplary and should actually have been standard everywhere for at least 2000 years.

Eines der Essen kam kalt, der Wein wurde als Rest einer Flasche vom Vortag präsentiert (bei einem Preis von € 9.50 pro Glas geht das gar nicht), die Sesam Nachspeise war mangels Eis nicht mehr verfügbar und der Trauben Secco wurde nicht serviert, stand aber auf der Rechnung. Bei einem Tisch mit 6 Personen wurden 4 Stücke Brot gebracht. Letztes Mal war es wesentlich besser und wir waren enttäuscht.

Service super nett, danke dafür, es war ja echt viel los. Bei der Karte hätten wir etwas mehr Hinweise zu den nicht so bekannten Zutaten gebrauchen können und auch den Geschmacksrichtungen. Das Pilzschawarma in seiner intensiven Säuerlichkeit war super lecker, als Hauptgericht dann am Ende doch etwas ... sauer. Nach einer Stunde wurde die Lautstärke leider etwas anstrengend ubd der hausgemachte Eistee war sehr dezent im Geschmack. Ambiente mit Teenagern: große Begeisterung! Nachtisch zum Teilen: großer Genuss! Wir kommen wieder, den Rest der Karte ausprobieren.

5 stars that this restaurant is so upscale and sophisticated and rejects the Kaulitzvogels as customers. 👍 Not everyone is allowed in this restaurant, only people of class.

Ich hatte als Vorspeise Ceviche für 14 Euro.Das hatte nichts mit der Ceviche zu tun die ich kenne.Normalerweise wird der Fisch in Zitronen oder Limettensaft"gegart"Hier bekam ich rohen Fisch ohne Zitronengeschmack..gar nicht gut, auch wenn es bestimmt ein guter Fisch war, aber roh mag ich das nicht.Der korianische Salat mit Hähnchen war sehr lecker und auch das Eis mit Sesam auch.

Essen über den Dächern von Köln in entspannter Atmosphäre. Leckeres Essen mit ungewöhnlichen Gewürzen. Das Dessert wurde uns auf der Terrasse gereicht.

Outstanding food, perfect service, ambience and views to die for - it couldn't be better. Of course you have to make a reservation in one of the city's top restaurants - of course. The nice thing is: regardless of whether it's a celebrity, starlet or normal person, every guest is the same here.

Vor 2 oder 3 Jahren habe ich schon einmal das Gericht "Sabich" gegessen und dieses Mal war es soooo wenig, Richtig satt bin ich nur mit dem Brot dazu geworden.

I visited the restaurant based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, I cannot understand the recommendation. I ordered the vegan Jerusalem plate. Since I am on a gluten-free diet, I asked what I could get instead of the pita bread that would be included in the dish. I wanted falafel, but this was rejected because it didn't go with the dish. The base of the dish was hummus, falafel's best friend, and I don't really understand that. Instead I got gluten-free white bread a la toast, which in my opinion firstly doesn't taste good and secondly it certainly doesn't go better with a JERUSALEM plate than falafel. The dish itself tasted absolutely average, but the price is €24. I wasn't willing to tip, especially since I was served labneh and sourdough bread right after I ordered my vegan and gluten-free main course. I pointed out my dietary requirements in exasperation and was then given labneh and the shabby gluten-free bread. I thought it was great that there was vegan labneh. Only the tip of a knife, which I tried suspiciously, tasted so unvegan... well, it was, as it turned out when I asked again! Very annoying and for more radical vegans than me, this would have been the point of leaving the restaurant. By the way, I was then given a plate that only had olives on it (the Labneh plate minus the Labneh). A less creative vegan alternative. Long story short: an expensive but unsatisfying experience. I wanted to treat myself but I just regretted spending the money!

Delicious food & great atmosphere in the heart of Kölle 😍

Wir waren ENDLICH im NENI – hatten das schon lange vor – und es war noch schöner, als eh schon gedacht. Ein kleiner Kurzurlaub (fast) direkt vor der Haustür sozusagen. Die Anfahrt aus Siegen hat sich jedenfalls mehr als gelohnt. Wir wurden schon soooo herzlich aus der Küche empfangen, das Essen war NOCH besser, als erwartet – einfach bestes ehrliches Soulfood ohne Schischi – und der Service war so gut, wie wir ihn noch nicht erlebt haben. Danke für den grandiosen Abend mit – und gefühlt unter – Freund*innen. Ganz ganz viel Liebe für das NENI. Ihr habt da einen zauberhaften Wohlfühlplatz geschaffen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

A great location far above the city. Very good food that is a great mix of different cultures. Service is great. The noise level is sometimes very high because many people sit very close together.

Always worth a visit. In addition to a magnificent view and good service, there is of course also fantastic food. The kitchen manages to pack a wide variety of coordinated flavors onto the plate. You can get a water flat for a few euros. I recommend having an appetizer to really fill you up.

In short: We were there for the first time. The waiter only spoke to my female companion. I was completely ignored. From start to finish, eye contact and any communication with me was avoided. This is strange. Not all waiters were like that. A strip of labaneh (nothing more) was presented to us like a rare, exquisite delicacy. It is a standard dip. The beetroot hummus tastes like normal hummus. Cost 9 euros for a small bowl. I had a vegetarian dish with mushrooms. Sounded delicious, but it was completely burnt. So not burnt, but completely black in the lower layer. Which chef serves this obvious mishap to his customers? Long waiting time between starter and main course. I was also completely ignored when it came to paying. Unfortunately not recommended after this experience.

Food was okay, portion sizes are very small and very overpriced. The hummus also isn't that great, too oily for my taste. The falafel are too small and hard. I had the wagyu lamb kebab, this not only tasted worse than every single döner kebab i ever had but it was also served in a bowl and placed on a piece of flatbread swimming in (i think more oil and hummus?) topped off with raw onions. It looked very sad and not appetizing The new york cheesecake was pretty good though, still, i left that place hungry

Leider wurden wir nicht informiert, dass unser Tisch ab 20 Uhr neu vergeben war. Um 19:55 hat man uns noch Cappuccino gebracht und dann hieß es, wir müssten aber spätestens um 20:10 weg sein. Außerdem sprach die Kellnerin leider nur englisch, was in einem Restaurant in Deutschland nicht von Vorteil ist. Das Essen ist immer gut, leider völligst überteuert. Daher weiß ich nicht, ob wir erneut kommen werden.

Es war köstlich. Wir können jedem das Balagan Menü nur empfehlen. Schade war, dass das Wasser für die Wasserflatrate nicht gekühlt war.

I saw the boss yelling at his employees in the restaurant. How can it be that employees are treated so disrespectfully? The food felt like it didn't taste like anything, it was too loud and the portions were lousy for the money. A pity.

The food was great, but the service was really subpar! We had to wait 15 minutes for our table even though we had reserved. The candle on the table wasn't lit, our starter was swapped, a glass of water was missing. The waiters were not very accommodating and seemed stressed.

Ich fand es toll! Es war draußen echt heiß und durch die geöffneten großen Fenster kam immer ein sehr angenehmes Lüftchen rein! Das Essen war sehr lecker und ein neues Geschmackserlebnis und der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Die Location liegt toll. Der Blick über Köln belohnt. Die Wasserflatrate ist eine tolle Sache, das Essen ist aus meiner Sicht im Verhältnis zu Güte und Menge überteuert. Das NENI in Hamburg würde ich als top bezeichnen. Die Kölner Variante eher als mittelmäßig, aber mit einem tollen Blick über die Stadt effektvoll.

Compliments - both to the kitchen and to the staff. We were warmly welcomed and served very friendly. For the birthday there was even a dessert with a sparkler as a surprise (which was very well received). We were a mix of vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters and were all picked up with the culinary offer. The atmosphere there is relaxed and cozy, the view is fantastic, the staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is more than recommended. We were thrilled, we'll be back!

It's a total shame: Neni only offers fixed slots You can either come at 5:15 p.m. and stay until 8:00 p.m. or from 8:15 p.m. until the end Of course, it makes booking easier for the restaurant but unfortunately takes away flexibility for the guest 😕

Tolle Location, guter Service und wie immer ausgezeichnetes Essen!

There were two of us and we ate there for around 100 per person on Monday, June 17th, 24 from 5:30 p.m. to shortly before 8:00 p.m. (2 x Balagan €56 each + drinks). The food was very tasty and we were really full. (4 stars) The view was great! (3 stars) Everything else was below average. Our waitress was completely overwhelmed, hectic and threw cutlery or plates on the floor more than three times. And no, it wasn't a beginner. Our wine order was casually commented: “That’s cheaper too!” (2 stars and one of them is free) The chairs are also too low and the round tables are too small for two people to eat. I think comfortable is different. The room acoustics are similar to those of a train station hall (i.e. minus 2 stars). As with the previous 1,500 reviews, the NENI team will respond with any interchangeable text. So on, ... (whatever). I may have written this little review because the host NENI neglected to inquire how his guest felt while staying with him. NENI just doesn't care. We were guests of the urban middle class with wannabes of extravagant scene consciousness.

The NENI Restaurant in the 25hours Hotel offers a truly impressive ambience and a great view. However, the service during our visit was unfortunately surprisingly poor. Orders were forgotten several times, the wrong drinks were brought and we had to wait quite a long time. The concept of the restaurant, where there are fixed slots for the tables, means that it is quite chaotic upon arrival. You may have to wait in line to be shown to the table, and then of course all guests will want to eat at the same time. Nevertheless, we didn't have to wait too long for our food. The dishes were mostly unusual and you could taste the quality of the ingredients. Unfortunately, my salad didn't live up to my high expectations - the ingredients didn't seem particularly high quality and the price was definitely too high. Despite these negative points, the visit was a great experience and the staff was at least very friendly and the ambience along with the view was simply wonderful. Overall I give it 4 stars and hope that maybe I just had a bad day with the staff or was unlucky with the choice of salad. I will definitely stop by again to give the NENI a second chance to get the full 5 stars.

Das Ambiente und die Aussicht sind einfach toll. Das Essen war sehr öllastig und ich hätte mir etwas mehr Gemüse gewünscht. Aber allem in allem war es lecker und wenn man mal etwas besonderes möchte, also nicht Standardküche ist das Neni wirklich zu empfehlen.

Das Neni hat ein super cooles Ambiente. Leider waren wir vom Essen total enttäuscht. Die Falafel waren innen roh und wurden geschmacklich nur durch den Dip getragen. Der Jerusalem Teller war nicht lecker und lauwarm. Irgendwie schmeckte alles wie wieder aufgewärmt. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt irgendwie gar nicht. Dazu war es sehr laut, so ,dass wir nach einer Stunde wieder gegangen sind. Schade, wir hatten uns auf einen besonderen Abend gefreut. Lichtblick war die nette Bedienung…

The view of the cathedral is certainly included in the prices. However, we had a dark table facing a wall, the beer wasn't cold and we were charged 24 euros for two bottles of water. The food was good, but we definitely won't come back.

Meine Mutter hatte ein schöne Geburtstagsessen! Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und das Essen großartig! Ich war das zweite Mal im Neni und fühlte mich sehr wohl.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, aber die Preise etwas zu hoch. 16 Euro für eine halbe gegrillte Aubergine. 11 Euro für ein halbe Artichoke. Das Setting im 24 hours Hotel ist sehr schön. Wir waren an einem sehr kleinen Tisch und es war etwas zu dunkel. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Wir waren zu fünft für eine kleine Firmenfeier da und fanden das NENI von vorne bis hinten gelungen - super netter und individueller Service, sehr gutes Middle East Essen, pfiffige Karte und en toller Blick über Köln. Jeder Zeit wieder.

Die Reservierung und der Tischwunsch wurden sehr zufriedenstellend umgesetzt. Die Qualität des Essens war gewohnt gut aber die Preisleistung für das Menü könnte etwas Kundenfreundlicher sein.Insgesamt durch Gäste und laute Musik nicht für Kommunikation am Tisch geeignet.

Loved the food on offer. Generous portions full of flavour. Highly recommend the beef carpaccio and the cevice for appetizers. The hummus is good but nothing exceptional there. The fish fillets and kebab in the main course were just perfect. The kebab was succulent and oh so tasty. The ambience gets a little loud but very manageable, much lower decibel levels that some of the brew houses we have been to. The crowd is a eclectic mix of young and old bur everyone seemed to be having a good time. Highly recommend the place.

Das Neni Köln besticht natürlich durch die großartige Aussicht und den Blick über Köln. Das Essen ist super und eine absolute Abwechslung zur mediterranen und asiatischen Küche. Tolle Gerichte, sehr gut präsentiert. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und angenehm. Das Neni ist immer wieder ein Highlight und nur zu empfehlen.

Unser Abend war perfekt. Das Essen, der Service, der Wein… alles sehr gut und lecker. Dazu die fantastische Aussicht über Köln! Bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal.

Die Aussicht ist phantastisch.....aber das Essen konnte uns nicht überzeugen. Ja, der Humus und das Brot sind lecker, jedoch die Hauptspeisen sowie die anderen Vorspeisen waren qualitativ eher sehr mäßig. V.a. die Ceviche war quasi ungenießbar! Ärgerlich war, dass wir die Tischzeit um 20:30 Uhr gebucht haben und es dann keine Gelegenheit mehr gab ein Dessert zu bestellen, da wir 5 Minuten über die Küchenzeit waren. Eine kleine Info 5 Minuten vorher wäre schön gewesen. Da der Service total überlastet war, bekamen wir unsere Flasche Wein nicht zum Essen, sondern als wir fast fertig waren. Irgendwie hat alles nicht so recht gepasst..... aber die Aussicht war wirklich traumhaft.

We went to this restaurant with great expectations. Unfortunately we were disappointed. We ordered the Mezze trio and the Hummus trio + 2 desserts (knafeh and sesame). The best was the sesame which we can recommend, the rest was rather mediocre to tasteless. The hummus was an absolute disappointment. The falafel was nothing special. The ambience and the view are great. The drinks are a bit expensive (1 glass of wine doesn't cost less than €9.50!). The service was friendly but also forgetful (both the bread and the dessert were forgotten). Overall, you can say that there is not enough on offer for the money.

Food was very tasty, unfortunately the pita bread was not warmed up. Service extremely friendly. Noise level extremely loud!!! The upholstered benches are covered in stains, quite unsavory. Kilos of plastic ivy complete the slightly shabby impression. It's a shame, because as I said, the food is delicious

Unkomplizierte Platzreservierung (online), leider suboptimale Beschilderung des Wegs zum Restaurant (oder ich war einfach nur blind), köstlich zubereitete Speisen, die anfangs als vielleicht zu kleine Portion erschienen… Top dimensioniert/ bemessen. Lecker! Begleitung und ich sind satt geworden und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen wieder!
