Very nice service and good food!

I ate a very good ciolan with creamy mash and sauteed cabbage. The food is very tasty and at a reasonable price, about 23 euros. The place has a pleasant atmosphere.

Last Saturday we spontaneously ended up at Lederer's around lunchtime with 8 people. We were easily offered a table outside. The service was perfect, you don't have to die of thirst. The tarte flambée we ordered was a hit. Very tasty and plentiful!! If we're in Cologne again, we'll definitely go to Lederer again. We particularly liked the Cologne dialect and the humor.

Food, very, very tasty and everything homemade. The service Marita was very polite and friendly and we were promptly served food and beer, everything was to our satisfaction. Thanks so much. We'll be back Marita.

What an absolute amazing gen in the heart of Cologne. This is my third visit in three trips, and I can strongly recommend this incredible eatery. Try the schnitzel - is is legendary!

We were there on October 15th. there. It's a nice, quaint restaurant right next to the cathedral. The food is very tasty and the nice staff, especially Stefan, took great care of us.

Quaint, typical Cologne restaurant centrally located near the cathedral and main train station. As Cologne residents, we go here because, in our opinion, they have the best schnitzel here. The paprika schnitzel is legendary!!!! Marita has served us in a friendly and courteous manner several times now. We felt completely comfortable :-)

It was the first time that we paid 61€ for two Schnitzel menu + 2 drinks but it was good.

The food there is delicious!😋 The staff Stefan and Jalal were super friendly, service was great! The flatbread with ham and leeks fills you up, you didn't even notice the onions. 10/10

The waiters are top and offer a really good and delicious meal. We felt very comfortable with Stefan and Nico as well as Jalal and not to forget the sito. On the whole, our meal there twice was top notch. In any case, I can only recommend it team there

A cozy and rustic restaurant, without unnecessary pomp. But warm and authentic hospitality from Jalal and Stefan. An absolutely positive dining experience. We were able to enjoy heaven and ääd, tarte flambée and Tyrolean schnitzel. Everything was very tasty and the food came to our table quickly. Thanks guys.

We ate there for the first time on October 5th, 2024 and had a tarte flambée & Tyrolean schnitzel for lunch - the food was great and the waitress “Marita” was really nice. On October 6th, 2024 we went here again for lunch and this time we had the chili schnitzel and cordon blue - this time it was also very tasty.

We got a beer before closing! The store staff treated me kindly. (Customer service is at a normal level in Japan, but in tourist spots in Germany, they usually serve salt...) After all, speaking of Germany means beer!

Once and probably not again! Drinks came quickly and cold. Therefore a star for the service! During the meal we noticed the company of several small rodents who were also enjoying the food under the table. After we pointed this out to the head waiter, we got the answer that “the restaurant door was probably open too long and it's just an old town atmosphere”. Food came to the table much too quickly, which indicated that it was not freshly prepared. Despite the rodent's visit, there was no discount on the bill!

The pork knuckle is recommended.

We had dinner at Ledderrer on Monday and it was really great. The food was really tasty, everything was fresh and well seasoned. And then Marita, she greeted us so friendly and served us, really nice. We felt really comfortable. Will definitely come back, absolutely recommended. ❤️

Went there for dinner spontaneously yesterday after visiting the cathedral. Small but nice and a real insider tip for good food. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND COMMON!!! The food and drinks came quickly and were very tasty. I personally give my recommendation to DER HAXE. Simply perfectly prepared and very tasty...

We ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening and it was highly recommended. We were there with 5 adults and 2 children and we were looked after very nicely. Marita and Günter took care of us and maintained good contact with us as guests. The food came quickly and was very tasty. There was a large Japanese tour group in the restaurant next to us and we sat in a small niche, which was a bit narrow at times. All in all, we really had a lovely evening.

Stumbled across this lovely little authentic restaurant and what a lovely experience we had. Joe our waiter was top notch, his suggestions regarding food and wine was fantastic with four clean plates and plenty of empty glasses. I would highly recomment this place and we are so looking forward to spending our last night in this beautiful city back here... Well done Joe and team

Fun place near but away from the crowds at the cathedral. Food was excellent! Sausage, potatoes, and red cabbage were great. So was the sauerbraten and potato dumplings. Friendly and fast service. Plus, kolsch! Another table of about 8 all ordered the pig knuckle which looked amazing, too.

We had dinner with friends at Lederer. Heaven and Ääd, as well as the sauerbraten are a poem, Cologne cuisine couldn't be better. Tyrolean schnitzel and also the paprika schnitzel were highly praised. Marita's very friendly and authentic service made our visit a successful experience.

Visited 28th August in the evening. Absolutely top class service by the very friendly waitress. Food was high quality and the location is perfect. Just those pesky bikes flying past as we ate outside!

Unglaublich... Im Innenraum waren mehrere Mäuse unterwegs. Als sie in Richtung unseres Tisches kamen, hieß es nur "das kennen wir schon, wenn es euch stört, könnt ihr euch auch draußen hinsetzen". Die Mäuse wurden noch nicht einmal rausgescheucht. Die Qualität des Essens können wir nicht beurteilen, wir entschieden uns dann doch eher für ein nagerfreies Lokal. Guten Appetit!

An extensive choice of traditional German food is on offer at this restaurant and an excellent choice for vegetarians and vegans. The service was very friendly and professional. The food portions were huge and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Wanted to try some authentic German food so walked in for an evening meal. Outside tables full but plenty of tables inside. Old fashioned medieval style interior. Ordered Nurenberg sausages with mash and sauerkraut, herring and kids chicken. Tasty big portions with local Kolsch beer. The waitress and waiter were really nice and friendly and service fast and helpful. Enjoyed it. Worth a visit.

I ordered a home plate, which included half an elbow, several types of sausages, mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm. I don’t know if it’s like this here, but until I ate the meat near the bone on my elbow, it was cold, and the bones were also cold to the touch. But the exposed bones on the outside were hot to the touch at first. There are a lot of flies when eating outside

A very hot Saturday (end of summer), we were looking for a table, for 5 persons. Was the first time in this restaurant (and perhaps the last one), and after asking if they can provide us a table outside, the answer was no, due to small tables, but inside would be better (she recommended), because of the high temperature outside. We entered inside, and shortly gave our order for drinks and food. The “one star” feedback goes only for the bartender, who was very kind and provided us the drinks in a short time. The restaurant was very Dirty in General, dirty floor, the toilets were as well extremely dirty (we did not used them), and we had to ask to clean the table. After around 15 minutes we thought to leave because of the extremely high temperature inside (she lied, telling us that inside is cooler than outside, there was no AC or Klimaanlage), and asked how long it will take the food to be ready, and the answer was in the next 5 minutes we could eat. The food arrived after around 50 minutes, from the time we gave our order. Trying to eat, the restaurant inside was full of flies, sharing our food with them as well, but the worst thing, is that the meat of the pork Schnitzel did not tasted at all (zero flavour), despite the fact that the dishes was served in a big portion, the food was not tasty!!!!!! I am very sorry for leaving this review but unfortunately we had a bad experience, over there. I hope that the owner / management (if they read the customers satisfaction) will take in consideration these topics, and at least be responsible for improving these kind of situations in the future.
